Being mentally in a forever nostalgia cloud about my old writing does NOT prepare me for how it reads when I wanna type up a story I wrote when I was 12 and the whiplash starts getting to me

Wow I have some very old art on here. Drawing Oriel and Rhiannon again lately has made me very nostalgic for 2017-2019, but I shouldn't be nostalgic for then, because my art skills I feel great about are here in 2024 with me. But. It's strange to think that so many years have passed since then. The books I wrote then don't feel quite as old to me as they really are, either.

I always feel so strange mentioning Oriel by her full name when I also have to mention the book that she’s from because Madder shows up in both and I’m afraid that people will think she’s supposed to be the protagonist? But really Seth is the main character and I’m so afraid that it gets confusing when I give Oriel more attention in my art and otherwise? It’s probably a really silly thing to worry about, but I can’t help but wonder if people find it a little misleading! It’s so hard not to give Oriel a bit more attention though….. I always thought my favourite character would be one of my protagonists, but I guess I was wrong?

I drew a quick transparent art of Miss Flame!

Remembered a bit about the pattern I based Hecate and Orion's scarves in Visions on, which was an infinity scarf pattern used in my junior high's knitting club when I was in 9th grade (a year before I wrote the book). Sure enough, after looking up the needle size and a couple of details about the pattern's construction, the top result was the exact pattern I used back then. Which is great, because I didn't remember how many stitches I was supposed to cast on for it.

I could have created character birthday art for Rhiannon Herkimer, since it is April 7th, but I do not think I will have time to before the day ends.

Deleted my Bluesky account also. Not really into it. It's kind of like Twitter but worse, and I don't even use my Twitter that much (hence how I deleted then remade for ACNH Switch connectivity to keep photos, then deleted and remade to have an account to link for a reward on Project Sekai). I don't enjoy having many social media accounts. I think it's okay if I don't sign up for all of the new ones.

I finally deleted my tiktok account. I am free.
