Summary : Being one of the top students in the university is such a blessing for you, but at the same time it can be a pain in the ass. It can be a pain in the ass because you get bullied a lot for literally breathing by a bunch of guys in the university consist the popular seniors namely, Johnny, Yuta, Jaehyun, Mark and Ten the dudes which every girl in the university scream their lungs out for. This guys are actually the members of Student Council Club along with Haechan, Jeno and Jaemin. You're wondering why these guys love to bully people but Haechan is an exception, he looks irritated every time the elders try to annoy you.

Being one of the top students in the university is such a blessing for you, but at the same time it can be a pain in the ass. You feel good because almost everyone in the university knows you for your academic excellence as every semester you get to be on the stage and besides you're one of the few students who get to be on the dean's lister which is also the reason why most of the lecturers like you a lot.

It can be a pain in the ass because you get bullied a lot for literally breathing. A bunch of guys in the university consist the popular seniors namely, Johnny, Yuta, Jaehyun, Mark and Ten the dudes which every girl in the university scream their lungs out for. But you don't get the hype for them, yes, they got the looks but with those attitude? You'd rather die than drool over them. There's also the juniors, which are your classmates, Jeno, Jaemin and Haechan. You're wondering why these guys love to bully people but Haechan is an exception, he looks irritated every time the elders try to annoy you.

The thing about Haechan is, he's different when he's in class and when he's with the popular kids. He has that cold aura whenever he's in class along with his other friends, Yeonjun and Soobin but when he's out of the class and with the popular dudes, he seem very different. He's very cheerful, all smiley, but of course his cold aura and attitude doesn't leave his soul.

There's one thing you like about Haechan. It is the fact that he is a very respectful guy towards girls and most of the lecturers adore him a lot for that. He's gentle and soft and has never disrespected any girl or even an elder, except for his hyungs and the ones they have to bully for who knows what reason, of course.

"Aren't you tired of staying inside the library all day long, Y/N?" Yeji, your bestfriend, rolled her eyes on you.

"This place is relaxing okay and besides what else can we do? Our class starts at 11, less than 30 minutes from now," you replied.

"Okay but can we please get some food? Miss Kim's class is pretty boring I need something to keep me awake," Yeji pleaded.

"Fine, let's go you big baby," then you both step out from the library and went to the cafe.

While you're looking around and choosing what to buy at the cafe, you can feel that there's someone looking at you. You quickly take some snacks and head to the counter.

"If it isn't Miss Smarty buying snacks, aren't you supposed to be reading all the books in the library?" Johnny turned to his other friends and laugh.

"Hey! We actually have a class to attend to and we're about to go running late if you don't leave my friend alone," Yeji said.

"Aw, scared that the professor might catch you cutting on class hours?" Ten pouted, teasing you.

"Yeji, let's go just ignore them it's a waste of time arguing with people who have nothing else to do but ruin other people's quiet lives," You grab Yeji on her wrist but someone tried to stop you.

"Ruin other people's quiet lives? Us?" Yuta raised a brow.

"If you didn't break a single rule then we wouldn't be doing this to you, little miss trying to be perfect,"

"What do you mean she broke a rule? She's a dean's lister, a top student among all the students that studies here! That's just plain bullshit and impossible!," Yeji shouted.

"Yeji, I said come on!" You dragged her and get out of that hell hole cafe.

You both ran and ran until you bumped on to someone,

"Can you please watch where you're go- Y/N?!" Haechan looked at you, confused as to why you're running around the hallway.

"Please move out of the way, Haechan. We're already running late because of your friends," Yeji said.

"What? What did they do?" Haechan asked, confused.

"Just let them go, Haechan." Jeno and Jaemin said in unison.

"Thanks," you muttered.

At the class, Haechan looked over you and Yeji again and found you spacing out near the window. He knew his hyungs might've bothered you again and he can't help but be angry about it.

"Hey, you're thinking about Y/N again?" Soobin nudged him.

"No," he refused.

"You're very bad at lying." Soobin shooked his head.

"I hope you're aware of that," Yeonjun smirked.

"Shut up, you ass!" Haechan threw a piece of paper on Yeonjun's face. Then he started to stared at you again. He feels sorry about you but he can't do anything, guilty at the same times too. He shouldn't tell the truth about his liking towards you to his hyungs but also didn't expect that they started to mess around you. He sighed.

"So it's her? We're friends, if you want I can ask her what happened," Soobin replied as hew saw Haechan staring at you non-stop.

"Nah, I don't care about her," Haechan threw his head on his desk.

"If you say so," Soobin left.

"You'll lose Miss Smarty over someone who ain't even worthy of her attention if you keep on lying like that," Yeonjun winked at Haechan.

"Hey! I told you I'm not interested!" Haechan screamed and was about to punch Yeonjun but Miss Kim entered the room

"Her class is boring as per usual," Yeji scoffed.

"You just don't like the subject, Yeji," you replied.

"Who even likes math?!"

"Apparently, me and Y/N," Ryujin said out of nowhere. Ryunjin is also one of your bestfriend in the university but she's rarely attend the class yet managed to get all A's in every subjects. You always feel like she's have sort of power because she's like to come out of nowhere.

"You! You didn't even attend the class!" Yeji said.

"I'm already late so I didn't bother attending anymore," Ryujin shrugged.

"Btw, I heard Lia just confessed to Haechan," Ryujin said after drinking her juice.

"Really?!" Yeji asked.

"Uh-hm," she replied.

"And she's going to waste her time on you, Y/N," Ryujin pointed at you.

"What?! Why me?! I already have a bunch of seniors kicking my ass I don't need another!" you muttered.

"Shhh! Lia and Chaeryeong's behind you," Yeji said.

"Oopsie" you closed your mouth with your hands and started to work on your note again.

You finished your class at 2pm today, packing your things and step out from the lecture hall. You're walking with Yeji and Soobin, his friends already left him so he ended up joining you and Yeji.

"Yo Soobin, I heard that Lia confessed to Haechan," Yeji broke the ice.

"Yeah, So?" he replied lazily.

"Dumbass! Tell me did she got rejected or what?" Yeji slapped Soobin's shoulder.

He groaned "I don't know but Haechan doesn't talk to her anymore, I guess she got friendzoned,"

"Damn! Hot tea! Y/N, isn't obvious that Haechan likes you?" Yeji said but you don't seem to care at all, you feel like you left something somewhere.

"Wait, I think I left something," you stopped and looked for your bag and search it.

"Shit! My bottle! I forgot my bottle," you started to panic.

"Hey chill, it's just a bottle" Soobin said, patted your head.

"You know what I think I left it at the library. I'm gonna get it, you guys can go first. I'll catch up later," you say.

"Ah okay, we'll wait downstairs," Yeji nodded.

You went to the library and as you enter the library, there's a lot of students there since it's just 2pm so some students might still have class till 6pm. As you walked around, you feel so anxious, you scared that the boys might be here and make fun of you again. You're tired and all you wanna do is now go home and sleep. You took a deep breath and confidently walked towards the table where you sat, you saw your purple bottle.

"Here you are...Thank god." you sighed and took the bottle.

As you about to step out from the library, suddenly you heard someone call you. You looked back and it was Lia.

"What? I'm rushing," you rolled your eyes.

Lia smirked. "Listen nerd, stay away from Haechan, can't you see that I like him?!"

You sighed "Seriously, Lia? First of all, I rarely talk to him, second, he is not my type and third, get out of my way I'm rushing," you were about to leave but Lia pulled your hair making you scream.

"Fuck!" making everyone in the library stare at you.

"The seniors are already into you, making your life miserable don't wait for me to make it even worst!"

It was such a coincidence Haechan was there and he saw that Lia trying to attack you then he ran towards you. "Lia stop, we're inside the library stop making a scene—", Haechan said but someone just slightly pushed Lia and making him suprised a little bit.

"Ah, Choi Jisu, you really have nothing better to do with your life eh?" Ryujin raised a brow and rolled her eyes.

"Ryujin," you softly said while looking at her.

"Is she bothering you again? Jisu, stop trying to be badass it doesn't suit you,"

"Why you—," Chaeryeong was about to interfere but Ryujin didn't let her.

"Chaeryoungie, you're a dance club president yet you condone such kind of acts? I wonder what the facilitator would do to you. You didn't even attend the club today. Tsk," she added more.

"Y/N, Let's go! Sayonara, old friends!" Ryujin then raised a middle finger on the air for her ex friends who turned into bullies because of jealousy and envy.

Lia tried to follow you and Ryujin but Haechan stopped her by grabbing her wrist.

"Lia, you better stop okay?! I don't like you," he said, furiously.

"W-what? But why?"

"Duh! It's obvious, he likes somebody else," Jaemin boringly replied.

"I'm warning you, Lia. If you mess with her I'll mess with you." Haechan then left without saying another word.

"Wow, what a mess." Johnny deadpanned.

"What do you mean mess? We were enjoying it!" Mark exclaimed.

"We were actually waiting for you guys to bring popcorns," Yuta laughed.

"Idiots," Ten smiled.

You're at your room with Ryujin and Yeji. You lay your head on Yeji's lap while she rubbed your temple.

"Hey, everything is going to be alright, just ignore her," Yeji said softly.

You just hummed, your head is spinning like crazy. All this chaos at the university really give you headaches.

"Y/N! The next time Lia try to mess with you, please just call me right away, that bitch still doesn't learn her lesson," Ryujin said.

You laughed, "Yeah, you're my hero, Ryujin," then she chuckled and slapped your thighs.

"Hey! I'm serious okay,"

"Fine," you smiled.

"Okay let's forget about this whole thing, wanna walk around the park?" Yeji asked.

"Uhm, okay miss who love to walk around, I wanna cook some ramen so I'll pass," Ryujin then get up from the bed and left the bedroom.

"This girl. Y/N?" Yeji persuading you with her puppy eyes look.

"Hm, cool I'm in, I wanna get some fresh air,"

You and Yeji walked around the park, talking some random things then laughed like a crazy people and making some people around you looked at you. It's really healing you, you feel much better now.

"Isn't that Soobin?" You pointed at the tall guy who's playing the basketball.

Yeji looked around and called him by waving her hands.

"Soobin!!" Yeji screamed.

You both walked towards him.

"Ssup Yeji? Y/N Are you okay? I heard you had a fight with Lia at the library," he softly said.

"I actually kicked Lia's butt," Ryujin came out of nowhere.

"This bitch! I thought you'll pass—," Yeji about to beat her ass.

"Shh," Ryujin put her index finger on Yeji's lips.

You giggled, "That was embarrassing actually but I'm fine, thanks to Ryujin. Are you alone here?"

"Uhm yes... but no," his eyes was looking at your back and you turn around to see Haechan about to beat Soobin's ass.

"Hey—," Haechan stopped midway because he noticed that you were staring at him.

"Oh Haechan, I didn't know you play basketball?," Ryujin happily said.

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me, Ryunjin," Haechan replied.

Haechan was about to give Soobin the punching he needed but you were blocking his way.

"Y/N? May I pass?" he nicely asked you but you don't realized you've been staring at him for a short time.

"Earth to Y/N! May he pass?" Yeji shouted in front of your face.

You blinked "Oh, uhm, yeah sure," You awkwardly said. "What's wrong with me?" You whispered to yourself and slapped your cheeks.

After he gave Soobin's ass a beating which lead to Yeonjun appearing to save his bestfriend from the cruel kid while laughing at him, "Bro, I told you to stop cheating while playing the game" Yeonjun tried to reached Soobin's hand "I didn't cheat?! He just bad at it" He groaned then making Yeonjun laughed even more.

Haechan went to you. You don't know why you can feel that your heart is beating fast as he walked towards you, it's not like he's gonna bully you or something.

"So how are you?" Haechan asked you and give you a warm smiles.

"Haechan," you said.

"Hm?"

"Will you please stop being nice to me?"

Ryujin, Yeji and the other two boys looked at your direction in unison.

"But- Why?"

"I have a feeling that your hyungs are doing this to me because you're being too kind with me," you said.

"If you can't stay away from me or stop being kind then at least do something to stop them! Don't act as if you're all nicey nicey with girls when you're not even doing anything to make them stop!" You shouted.

Haechan literally stood there silently making him shocked with your words, feels like something hard slap on him.

"Yo, Y/N, that's below the belt. Haechan can't do anything he's the youngest," Yeonjun interfered.

"What do you even know?!" You screamed.

"I don't do anything huh? YOU have no clue at all. I try to make them stop but I have no power, I'm the youngest and they really won't bother listening to me!" Haechan replied back.

"Then just stop bothering me! You and your stupid lovely hyungs stop breathing near me and let me live my life in fucking peace!" You stormed out of the place and Yeji and Ryujin followed you leaving the three boys stunned about what just happened.

It's been a week since the last time you sees Haechan. He's not attended the class for a week. The night at the park where you mad at him was the last time you see him. Yes, you're worried about him. Maybe you're being too harsh to him? Maybe it's true that he can't do anything because he is the youngest? You just can't stop thinking about him.

"Y/N, are you okay? You've been spaced out since the class started" Yeji asked.

You nodded. You turned around and called Soobin who sat behind you. "You know where Haechan is?" you asked.

"Em, I'm not sure but I did saw him around the campus" he replied.

"Where do you think he could be now?"

"The Student Council Room" Yeonjun mentioned and without hesitation you get up from you sit and straight away went to that room.

You leave Yeji and the boys stunned. "Is she okay?" Soobin asked. "I don't know but it's better for me to stay here. Moody Y/N scared me a lot" Yeji said and making both Yeonjun and Soobin laughed.

You were out of your breath as you walked really fast, you just really need to see him now. You feel guilty with your words. Then, you looked for the room, it's located in level 4. Before you knocked at the door, you took a deep breath. Yes, you're going to face these people who likes to mess with you and hopefully everything will be just fine.

You knocked at the door and second later someone opened the door, it was Ten.

"Wow, look who's here. Our little Miss Smarty is here,"

"Can I talk to Haechan?"

"No, Miss. You need to do some appointment first then-" he's about to start messing with you but you raised your voice, "I really need to speak to him now!"

Ten could see how your face is getting red and this is the first time you've seen him look so scared. Then he let you in.

"Hyuckie, someone want to see you," Ten shouted.

Then you saw him, standing right there. "Y/N?"

"Where have you been?" you replied.

"I've been at home and here,"

"And you're not attending classes?!"

"Go grab some popcorn!" Johnny told Mark.

"Why me?!" Mark questioned.

"Just do it!" Yuta whispered as quiet as possible.

"I mean, why do you care? And why are you here? I thought you hate everyone that's in here?" Haechan added.

"Look, I'm sorry. I realized that I was wrong and that I shouldn't have snapped on you like that."

"She snapped?!" Jeno squealed.

"QUIET!" Johnny put his index finger on Jeno's lip.

"And to your hyungs as well, I know you all started to mess with me because you thought I was the one who vandalized your studio during the holidays but it wasn't me. I was framed up by someone from your class and I couldn't say no because my grades were on the line. They asked me to show myself on the cctv footage so I would be the one to blame. I'm sorry I didn't admit it sooner it was because I thought you all won't believe me if I said so because I'm a nerd." You explained.

"Silly," Ten murmured.

"Huh?" You said.

"We didn't mess with you because of that. We already knew who did it," Johnny added.

"Then why?!"

"Haechan," Jaemin simply said.

"What does he have to do with it?" You asked, confused and looked at him.

"I like you." Haechan finally confessed to you.

"GOD! FINALLY!" Mark shouted.

"They did that because I like you. They thought messing with you will make me confess my feelings to you." Haechan said, trying to avoid eye contact.

"He's such a baby isn't he?" Ten rolled his eyes.

"Well he is the youngest?! So obviously he's a baby," Yuta laughed.

"Shut up," Ten gave him a glare.

"So will you accept his feelings?" Ten questioned.

"If I don't will you still mess with me?" You replied.

"Nope, but we'll mess with him rather," Johnny pointed at Haechan.

"Eh?! Why me?!"

"Man up! That's why," Yuta gave their youngest a wink.

"What's your decision, Y/N?" Mark said anticipating your answer.

"Go to class and you'll know the answer. Goodbye!" You stormed out of the studio and immediately went back to your classroom.

"She's unbelievable isn't she?" Haechan smiled.

"Go get your answer, Idiot!" Mark pushed him to follow you.

At the end of the day, Haechan got his answer which was yes, you'll accept his feelings. After a few months you two started dating.

"Be my girlfriend?" he said,

"What?" you suprised, he about to kneel down but you stopped him

"Okay, okay Haechan, not here. We're in the cafe, everyone is here. This is embarrassing"

"Then will you be my gi-"

"Yes! Yes!"

Then he jumped happily "FUCK I GOT A GIRLFRIEND NOW, EVERYONE THIS IS MY GIRLFRIEND!" he shouted excitedly, in the cafe. Everyone was looking at him and some even clapped for him said congratulations.

"God, this is embarrassing. Sorry, two ice americano please" you said to the waiters, with your cheeks full with red.

Almost everyone was happy for the both of you except for Lia and Chaeryeong. They hated the fact that you get all these attention when for them, you're just no one but a nerd. Ryujin and Yeji always had your back, and you finally have been best friends with both Yeonjun and Soobin. The rest of Haechan's hyungs have been your best guy friends as well. School was not what you thought it'd be. In fact, thanks to Haechan your perspective and ideas has been fully changed to something positive and wonderful.

I wanted to tell you something. I have feelings for you and I felt the need to tell you this but I don’t expect you to return my feelings. Just wanted to get it off my chests.

"Here, give this mf message to him! Give to Jeno now!" your bestfriend!Heachan said, slightly hit your back making you shocked "What? What message?"

"Check your phone dumbass"

You checked the message that he just sent to you "What? Are you sure about this?" you questioning him, "Stupid! Didn't you just tell me that you wanted confess to him, so I'm giving you the most safe words that you can give to him. Well if you don't want feel you got friendzone by him" You hit his chest and he groaned. "That was a joke okay! and this is crazy, I won't do it" you refused, you still didn't have balls to do that "Come on Y/N. We don't know if he likes you or not. This is the time where we can know the truth!" he said.

You sighed "What if he really have a girlfriend?"

"Then move on" he giggled and you pulled his ears "You bitch! I'm out, by-" then Haechan stop giggled and pulled your arms, cupped your cheeks "Okay listen, even if you got rejected by him, there's nothing to worry about after this, at least you already get off the feeling from your chest. You can just move on and find another man that can love the way you are", yes Haechan is a really great friend of yours, he understands you a lot and always give the best advice whenever you're having problems. He knows how to comfort you. " Okay but won't it be awkward if I got rejected by him? I mean we're classmates and he might don't wanna talk with me anymore" you said. "Well... that's on you, you have to take the consequences if you really want to confess" he mentioned and making you let out a big sighed. "Fine" then you took out your phone and find his number.

To: Jeno

Hey Jeno...

You put your phone aside "Let's see if he respond in 10 minutes then I will tell him everything or not, I will delete that message" you said. "Huh? What did you say?" Haechan kinda suprised with your action, making you chuckled "I just say hi"

10 minutes later

"He didn't respond..." you said in disappointment but kinda relieved at least you don't have to go through an awkward moment/situation with him later. You pushed the delete button to delete that messages. "Yo, it's alright Y/N. Come, let me treat you some drink" he patted your back "Yes, that sounds better" you smiled.

"Hey isn't that him? With a girl??" Haechan said. "What where??" You responded then looking around, you saw Jeno holding hands with a girl, he looked happy though. "He got girlfriend already" you laughed "You dumb Y/N" you laughed again, laughed at yourself. "Okay, remember our deal? Now move on. I'm so thirsty, I need water" Heachan pulled your hands to get out from that place. You don't know what to feel, Jeno been your favorite since the first day in college. You and him are not that close but you get along with him so well even sometimes you both are in the same group for a group activity and know how to make conversation really well. Deep in your heart, you feel sad but at the same time happy, because you didn't tell him the truth or he might feel awkward around you after that. At least, you still can be friends with him and knowing that things already made you feel enough and happy.

I kinda addicted with this song and got some ideas to wrote this. Hope you will enjoy it ♡ I could relate with this song so everytime I listened to it, my tears drop like there is no tomorrow.

[18:38] The sun almost fell, the wind slowly blows your hair, you're sitting on the bench at your favorite park, enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the lake. Your used to be favorite park, it's full with memories now because it is where you meet him for the first time and see him for the last time.

It's been three months since he left you, you both agreed to find your own way after having a lot of misunderstanding and couldn't fix it well. So, it's not easy to move on. How you wish you could just turn back to time to fix everything and make him to stay with you.

This place is where you meet Jung Jaehyun, a guy that once make you feel happy like there is no tomorrow. His voice still playing in your head, his smile, his playfulness and how clingy is he when he was with you. The hug that he will give it to you whenever you want, a kiss that you will always miss, how sweet it is when his lips on yours that always give a butterfly on your stomach.

You closed your eyes, took a deep breath. Every moments with him appeared in your head, you bit your lips. "You should tell me where I went wrong and I would do everything to fix it" your tears falling on your cheeks.

It's getting dark and you decided to go home. You walked through the lakeside, tried to cheer yourself but then you saw someone, looking familiar. Later, he looked at you back, where you stand. Now, you both standing there awkwardly, staring at each other. You realized how long you both looking at each other and making you wanted to run to him and hugged him and tell him that you can do everything to make your relationship like the old days.

It's your first time seeing him after the break up thing. Your heart beating fast "I should go" you mumbled to yourself then you took a step to leave the situation that you never wanted. "I'm still thinking about you and no one can replace you, the way you make me feel, no one ever would"

[16:45] You walked around the basketball court then saw your bestfriend!Jaehyun who sat on the bench with his basketball top, sweating a lot from playing the basketball, and you walked towards him "Here your drink, dumbass!" You said and literally just hit his arms with that drinking bottle "Ouch!" He replied, rubbed his arms then took the bottle from you. "That hurts but thanks cutie" He give you a winks, making your cheeks feel so hot but you rolled your eyes "Stop calling me cute!" Then you sit beside him. "You really just ignore all of my calls and texts but here you are whenever I asked for a drink"

"Because it's not important at all, you literally just asked what is my cat doing? Like-" you couldn't end your sentence and Jaehyun just interrupted you "So asking for a drink is important, see Y/N! I know you like me too why can't you just tell me the truth?" You almost chocked with those words.

Here is thing about you and Jaehyun, you both already friends since high school, basically you go to high school with him, college also with him and everything will always be with him. You both are so close until people thought that you guys are a couple but the truth is you and Jaehyun are just bestfriends who always have each other back. You pointed your finger at yourself, nervously. "Yes and I told my mom already, so just wanna let you know" he said.

"You told your mom already? Did I even tell you I wanna go?" You crossed your arms then he came closer to your face, your heart beating fast. He smirked "That's why I said I wanna bring you because I know you will say no if I asked you to and I don't take no as an answer" You just blinked your eyes and focused on his lips, soft and perfect! You can see that he is getting closer to you then you closed your eyes thinking his lips might landed on your lips but it goes to your ears "So dress well and impress me" his deep voice really made you goosebumps then he looked at you who still close your eyes, chuckled "Do you think I'm going to kiss you?" You opened your eyes, yeap you just embarrassed yourself, again your face really going to burn for real. Jaehyun laughed by looking at your expression "You're so pink! I'll call you later" he holds your cheek and give a sweet kiss on it then he ran back to his friends to continue playing the basketball and leave you with those red things on your face, you slap your cheeks and by now you just realized that you're actually like him too. "Stupid Y/N! You're actually like Jung Jaehyun, you dumb idiot!" You mumbled to yourself. A smile formed from your lips as you watched Jaehyun playing the basketball without you realized and yes you're falling in love with your own bestfriend, Jaehyun.
