So last year I wrote parti pris, a Percy centered fic, and it's still one of my favourite fics up to date. Feeling sentimental, I wrote a sequel (sort of)āfeaturing fluff, angst, vulnerable married bois and some Quidditch. Happy reading, I guess? š¤

Welcome to HarryGlots, a fest where we celebrate artworks written in languages other than English. Ironically, the fest rules and main communication are going to be written in English, but the main goal of the fest is appreciate the diversity in the fandomānot just the domination of English.

Prompting: March 22th ā March 31st

Prompting rules:
You can write a general prompt in Englishāit will be up for grabs for everyone.
You can also choose to write a prompt in a language of your choice.Ā
Self-prompting is allowed.
Prompting opens March 22nd and closes March 31st.
Fest rules:
The work must be written in a language other than English. You don't have to be a native speaker of the language, but you'd need to know it well enough to write a coherent story :)
All works should be beta read by a native speaker of the language youāre writing in. If you're unable to find a beta, please contact the mod.
All works should be taking place in the Harry Potter universe, included additional franchise such as Fantastic Beasts or The Cursed Child. No crossovers with other fandoms allowed.
All the works should be original to the fest. No translations or podfics allowed.
Minimal word count is 500 words, no maximum word count.
All tags are allowed as long as the work is properly tagged.Ā
Thereās no cap of claimants per promptāmultiple people can claim one prompt.
You can claim a second prompt after youāve submitted your first work to the collection.
Works are anonymous. Authors are going to be revealed as soon as the posting period is complete.

There's also an app called the demon app by everyone who has ever used it in one of my favourite Discord servers.
The general rule here is that you canāt stop writing within the set time. So if you set your time to 15 minutes, you cannot stop writing words on your keyboard, otherwise itās going to delete all of your words. The text becomes red when you're close to losing everything. Itās so good for breaking writer block and brainstorming! Sometimes it requires more or less editing, but it works like a charm every time.
It also has an additional killer mode where you see only the last letter you put into the story. Requires great memory and a great deal of adrenaline, but it also works for some.Hereās the link: https://www.squibler.io/dangerous-writing-prompt-app/

Hello again writers, we're back with another great workshop, this time run by @girl-with-goats!
This workshop is for you if:
You feel dread when you have to drop in a smut scene;
You struggle with describing the technicalities / the flow of the scene;
