Will there be a big bang event this year and can I sign up?

Hello! We were delighted to see interest in this for another year!

However, the mods were talking about this year and while we would love to start it up again, we are both occupied with stuff right now.

We are thinking if we do this event this year, it will be later on in the year (like summer around?)

Thanks for the interest though! And if we did run it this year we would love to see you sign up!

It's been a huge project since all the way back in AUGUST iirc and I'm so glad I can release it from ragbros wip hell (I have so many wips send help) !!! I'm actually quite proud of this too kehehe so. I hope you all enjoy :]

Genshin big bang is nearly upon us! Are y’all ready? :D

Hello! It’s my turn! I helped host this big bang! It’s been a lot of work and I’ve been doing my best to make this fic turn out well (despite challenging myself with a character I’m not used to.) I’m really excited to share it with all of you in a few days~~

The @genshingenbang is almost here!! Next week is posting week, so here’s an excerpt of the fic I’ve been writing, which I will be posting the beginning of on AO3 once the time comes. The fic will be accompanied by some very incredible art that was everything I hoped for when imagining ‘what if Genshin characters with wings?’ so many thanks to the artist-who-shall-be-named-in-due-time and to all the event organizers! XD

This close, she can smell the salt in the captain’s hair, sharp and biting like the sea wind. “Oh, you’re properly pissed about this,” she observes, impossibly unperturbed. “You’ve forgotten who you’re beholden to, Beidou,” Ningguang says. She forces her tone into something cold, something calmer. “Did you think I would just allow my privateer to just—waltz off the edge of the world? Let herself go mad? And for what? A child’s dream? A contract? A bit of mora—!” “Easy there, Tianquan,” says Beidou. “You almost admitted you value me more than gold.” Ningguang is not the sort of woman who resorts to physical demonstrations. She’s better than that, more elegant than that. Better trained than that. But even those instincts can’t stop the way her hand crashes down on Beidou’s desk, scattering papers to the ground and causing the wood to creak ominously. “You’re irreplaceable,” she says lowly. Beidou, because she is a fool—a reckless, cocksure fool—lifts Ningguang’s closed fist from her desk and holds it in hers. “You’re worried.” “I am not.” “You are,” presses Beidou. “You think I’ll die trying to cross the Dark Sea. Worse, I’ll make it to the other side, confuse up for down, and lose my mind before coming home.”
