The way these two own my heart is almost utterly ridiculous, because the way I cried tears of joy during this little but heartfelt interaction is just completely unheard of (especially for someone like me who doesn't really show emotion), so the fact that an onscreen couple made me happy sob is just unbelievable!!! Currently reading: Mainly just fanfics, but I'm also reading the assassin's blade series by Sarah J Maas.

Currently watching: I am watching Hotel Del Luna at the moment and it is so damn good! I underestimated it a lot and the plot really took me by surprise.

I am also watching High school musical the musical: the series with my sisters. And although the target audience is for younger kids, the drama is still fun to watch. Plus, I'm an OG HSM freak!

Last movie: Frozen 2. It's my little sister's favourite movie and it was her turn to choose on movie night.

K-DRAMA'S I STARTED BUT COULDN'T FINISH

Rookie Historian

I legit only got up to episode three before I decided that it was boring and I ended up giving up before the main couple had any proper interactions. I think I found that the story was moving wayyyy too slow for my liking. The only things I liked about this show was that the female lead was an independent woman who fought for what she believed was right and I just liked seeing Cha Eun Woo play a character who had more than just one emotion.

Hit the top aka The Best Hit

To be honest, the only reason I watched this was because I saw an edit with the gif above in it and thought that Cha Eun Woo's character gave me Han Seojun vibes and I wanted to simp over him. But unfortunately, I didn't even make it past the first episode which is an all time low for me. I sort of just watched it with a straight face the whole time, which automatically told me that it wasn't worth my time.

But my husband Kim Min Jae from Tempted is one of the main characters, so maybe I'll give it another try.

Best Mistake

I really didn't like this show.

The whole storyline was cliche and cringy and the female lead was absolutely pathetic and the Male lead was a bully. And the episodes were way too short for me to enjoy. I think I only got up to episode 10 which means I wasted so much energy on this show and this is a series I sincerely wish I could erase from my memories.

RATING THE K-DRAMA'S I HAVE WATCHED

What's wrong with secretary Kim?

8/10

I would have scored it higher, but I personally thought that they overdid it with the romance and towards the end of the season when they kind of stopped with the whole trauma storyline it got boring.

But I loved the main couple and their chemistry, and boyyy were their intimate scenes spicy. I felt like such a creep during their makeout scenes.

Tempted aka The Great Seducer

Okay, so I have come to realise that many viewers of this show hated it because of various reasons. And it makes me sad because I got addicted to this drama and finished it within two nights.

The trio (Choi Soo-Ji, Kwon Si-hyun, and Lee Se Joo) were iconic and were total badasses, despite being so toxic for each other and I actually really liked Joy's character (which seems to be an unpopular opinion) and I thought that the main couple was adorable! I also ended up falling for Choi Soo-Ji and Lee Se Joo's relationship and I think it's a crime that they never got a proper kiss!!

All in all, I am obsessed with this show and would recommend it to anyone who is just starting their K-drama journey.

W: Two Worlds

I liked the whole webtoon & real world crossover concept, and enjoyed the fact that it wasn't your typical romantic K-drama. But I found the female lead kind of annoying for a reason I cannot explain, and found many scenes cringy and awkward to watch.

The second hand embarrassment was REAL...

True Beauty

This K-drama holds a very special place in my heart solely for the fact that it was the first K-drama I watched and this was the show that started my entire journey.

But I will be honest and say that the storyline was pretty meh because it's your cliche love triangle where the insecure girl has both the bad boy and the cold hearted boy fighting for her affection. It also didn't help that I found Lee Suho to be such a boring character and thought that Han Seojun deserved to be someone's first choice so I wasn't even on a team.

I also had a problem with the way they dealt with Kang Sujin's character development. They showed that she was getting physically abused by her dad but didn't really dig into it. Instead they made her the villain and then she disappeared for 2 years?? Like, we needed more on Sujin's backstory, considering she's supposed to be part of the main cast.

But overall, I don't regret watching the show and I think it was the perfect drama to start off with.

Love With Flaws

8.5/10

I found this show hilarious, and I liked that the female lead wasn't portrayed as weak and defenseless. I also liked the dynamic between Joo Seoyeon (FML) and her brothers, and loved how this show was family centric.

The only reasons why I didn't rate this one higher, was because the main couple was actually kind of boring, and the supposed background couples definitely stole the spotlight and I wish we had gotten to see more of them. And I also thought the ending was rushed, and their sudden engagement came out of nowhere. Like hadn't they only been dating for a few weeks at that point??
