summary: You were sitting alone at a table in a library, books and notes scattered all over the table. Lee suho who was in the library to return a book, saw your exhausted figure.

Warnings! : kind of angsty (not sure) but fluffy ending !

“move it kid!” the man behind Suho whispered yelled at him. “oh sorry” he responded in a small voice eyes still trained on you.

When Lee suho came into the library with the intention to return a book he borrowed, his eyes somewhat found your figure in the corner of the library. But this time you looked different..

And by different he meant you looked tired.

After he returned the book, he decided to walk up to you. When he came close, your head was still on the table with your arm surrounding it. His initial thought was that you were probably asleep. But unbeknownst to him, you were actually doing quite the opposite.

You weren’t just alone though, you were alone at a library at 8 pm. you should be at home right now unless you had a tutor to meet or atleast a friend to study with you!

After staring at your seemingly down figure for a short second, he decided to come up to you “hey y/n?” he said in a small voice. but you weren’t answering.

He tapped your shoulder with two fingers and that’s when you realised there was someone. Startled, you replied “Oh Suho!” shocked to see him on this hour at the library. But he had always been unpredictable.

“are you ok? why are you sleeping in the library?” he asked you in a polite tone. “Oh me? i was just studying for the mid term exam” you replied to him in a slow voice.

He wasn’t sure if it was his eyes or his heart telling him that you looked malnourished, but he sure knew you definitely needed a little help with studying, considering you looked a bit tired.

“do you need help?” he offered. You were shocked honestly, you never thought Suho who you barely even know, would want to study with you. “are you sure? don’t you need to go home at this hour?”

You didn’t really mind if he studied with you, it’s just that you didn’t want him to think you were stupid. That’s the last thing you’d want.

You were an Academic Achiever, but lately things has been a bit hard for you . Hence, why you think your not doing good like you used to. And everything has been going so wrong lately you just don’t have enough time to think about yourself today.

“No i’ll be fine, I haven’t studied this too and since your here might as well!” He lied, he actually already did study this, he just wanted to spend some time with you. And in a small voice you thanked him.

A few minutes had went by with him teaching you a few things here and there whenever you looked at your notes confused. To be honest, you were glad he was there.

“do you get it?” he asked as he turns to you for confirmation, but when he faced you fully he saw tears streaming down your eyes. Soft sniffles came out from your stuffy nose.

“A-are you ok??” he was worried and confused on why you cried, was it because of him? did he do something wrong? “is it me? did I do something?” Truth is it was never because of him.

You shook your head, a small “no” came from your lips. He was relieved but still confused on why you cried and before he could ask you, you answered his unspoken question.

“It’s just that..” you started “It’s just that i feel so stupid lately. It’s like that feeling when your failing the only thing your good at. Everyone around me is so much better than me i’m just scared that at some point i’ll be the idiot in the corner just taking up space.”

As he heard you out he also understood the way you were feeling. He didn’t know what to do, he had never felt this way before. But one thing he did know was that you needed him. You needed him to listen and hear you out. And so he did.

“I’m sorry i know i’m ranting but i just can’t hold it in any longer.” was the last thing you said before you laid down your head on the table with your arms surrounding it.

After you had calmed down a bit, Suho got up and went behind your chair to hug you. He didn’t know what to say, but the least he could do was hug you so you know he’ll always be there for you no matter what.

No words was exchanged for a moment, it was just you and him holding on to each other. It was sweet, you liked this.

But not anything lasts for long so at some point you let go of each other. “thank you Suho.” You thanked him. And when he looked at you your eyes were puffy but your lips was in a beautiful small smile he had always admired from afar.

And as time flew by it was already 9 pm so you had to be home or your parents will get worried. As you and Suho helped each other clean the table, he asked you “y/n, do you want to maybe study again tomorrow? since it’ll be Saturday we should go to the cafe nearby”

You couldn’t decline the handsome man in front of you, so of course you said yes to his request!

without further ado, here it is!!

- he lets you do his makeup if you want to!

- you don’t need to add blush because he’s already blushing

- he does your makeup once too

- secretly makes a list of your favorite things in his notes app and things like your starbucks order, etc

- he tells you he “just remembered” though

- if you guys were apart, you’d watch terrible movies together on an app like discord or screenshare on facetime or something and make fun of them together

- will give you his jacket if you’re cold— even the expensive leather jacket he doesn’t let anyone else touch

- he won’t hesitate to kill you though if you do anything to it

- he finds it infatuating how well you get along with gowoon and his mom

- oh and those two absolutely adore you

- he really, really likes your hands

- if you have smaller hands, he finds it cute, and if you have larger hands, he finds it hot.

- he absentmindedly plays with your hands

- two words: sharing earbuds.

- you have playlists for eachother

- at one point you just decide to get a duo spotify account

- he sprays his cologne on hoodies, etc before he gives them to you

- will always make space in his pockets for your things if you don’t have any

- loves listening to you talk about things you’re passionate about

- if you’re close with your family, he’d want to impress them so so so bad and be so worried about what they’d think of him

- but he’s great at charming parents and has nothing to worry about

- loves showering at your place so he can use your shampoo and smell like you

- he loves watching you do skincare, if you’re into that sort of thing

- if not, he’d make you establish a skincare routine

- if he didnt like something but you loved it he’d lie and pretend like he loves it too

- he’d shovel spicy food that he can’t handle down his throat if it meant making you happy <3

- late night gas station runs, sitting under the stars together

- he’d save up to take you to a really really nice restaurant for a special occasion

- doesn’t ever forget a birthday or anniversary

- he wouldn’t do much for month anniversaries though, unless you wanted him to

- likes to buy you things and see you smile at him

- he’d hear you talk about how you wanted a love letter and end up writing you one

- and it’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever read

- but you do make fun of his handwriting haha

- likes to study with you

- but not to actually study. no he likes that face you make when you’re thinking or confused.

i miss the time true beauty was ongoing.

i remember it so vividly. by the time i started watching it the 6th ep was out & i only started it because i needed an escape. i wasn't a regular kdrama watcher back then. i was at a really bad place mentally and i needed something to keep me busy from overthinking, since i couldn't bring myself up to study or go out. so i decided to start watching it and it became my comfort drama. ive watched it 3 times in total, one back in january of 2021, one during the 2021-2022 school year when i needed comfort and i'm rewatching it now, during my last year of high school for comfort.

i just remember everything so vividly. i remember the fandom going crazy abt being team seojun or team suho, i remember slandering jukyung for choosing suho over seojun, i remember being head over heels for seojun and crying so hard not just because of the drama, but also because it was ending. i haven't cried this bad over anything. true beauty coming to an end was the most painful thing i have experienced and it was the first ever time i cried over a show/movie/drama.

i miss those days, i miss han seojun, i miss the time when the fandom was alive and i miss true beauty.

Warning: han seojun and hwang in yeop fans are requested to NOT read this 🤫

please tell me that it's not only me who finds han seo jun annoying. like,, boy you know that girl doesn't like you, she likes your friend and he likes her too, they love each other and desrve to be together.

then in the end, the way writers made him some kind of sacrificial hero for "giving up" on jukyung and "letting her go" to suho.. when she was never HIS to "give up".... ooooh so fucking sad isn't it?

i hate that majority of posts, tweets etc under true beauty hashtags are about how fucking cool, miserable and heartbroken seo jun because the girl he liked didnt love him back all while jukyung went through hell and back with her journey of self love and body positivity, suho literally lost half of his family and had to suffer so much but ohhhh look, the self appointed kabab me haddi is the show stealer here.

it really really really doesn't help that hwang in yeop just contiues to do roles where he is the miserable second lead who doesnt get the girl (18 again, sound of magic) and now he will play the character of he zi qui in the remake of the chinese drama go ahead where he zi qui was miserable and suffered alot and didn't get the girl (mostly because he ziqui never liked jianjian in a romantic way but his insecurities were eating him up when he found out jian jian and ling xiao were together and not to forget, the major part of go ahead drama was focused on jian jian's father and whole family trying to tell hi zi qui he was the part of family and not outsider and helping him to overcome his insecurities and fear of abandonment.) and you know WHAT? i am TIRED of seeing this actor in these heartbroken second lead roles.. like, PICK A BETTER SCRIPT DAMMIT!!! i'll have to see 1000 more reels of people crying that how his character deserved better, and others are just side characters in their own show because mr. i-am-miserable-because-the-girl-i-like-doesnt-like-me-back deserves better 💁🏻‍♀️

i just can't understand why this guy cant go for different roles and not just the same one again n again. he should try main roles. it definitely is not like he is having shortage of options cuz he prolly is in demand after true beauty. idk how am i supposed to enjoy the go ahead remake with his miserable ass face on screen again.

coming back to the main point: i can't, just can't understand why tf han seo jun is so fucking overrated when he is literally like every other second lead ever! you cannot go through any suho-jukyung content without people crying "but han seojun🥺" under it. this over hyping only makes his character even more annoying because people romanticize him so much that they just make up delusional narratives about how he was better than suho etc etc etc.

han seo jun is likable and cute when you don't have annoying people inserting him everywhere and crying about him. the overhype just repulses me alot.

phewww. i have been wanting to say this all since a long time cuz i am annoyed as fuck seeing han seojun everywhere overhyped to the point that people sideline suho-the actual main lead and downplay everything about him. and also say shit about jukyung.. like, leave my baby alone it's not her problem the kabab me haddi was stubborn. this all just gets on my nerves after one point because not matter how much you try to avoid it.. these things just comes back to haunt you when you try to ignore them.

i just wanted to let it out.
