Summer Jobs Series (svt) - life guard!jun

I’m just the worst at posting thats all I can say

you had one summer left before your first year of college

you had just moved to a new city for it and you were still amazed by how pretty and warm it was

getting a job at an ice cream parlor near the beach was pretty much one of the best decisions of your life

getting payed???? to be surrounded by ice cream??? that you can secretly eat when no one was looking??? THAT was heaven

you always sat down by the beach after your shift to just enjoy the sun and the smell of the ocean

and maybe something else......someone else

see there was this life guard who always happened to be working when you were at the beach

and he was really kinda cute

you never bothered to talk to him though,,,he seemed like a player

like he would always be chatting up girls on the beach so you didn’t wanna waste your time on a guy that won’t seriously like you

it was just a typical day after work, you just sat down on the sand and started reading your favorite book

“um excuse me,,, are you reading THAT book?”

you looked up and almost jumped cause the cute lifeguard was was bending down, looking at you, just a lil too close to your face

(not like you didn’t like it bUT STILL)

“ah yeah I am...” “rEALLY!!! I LOVE THAT BOOK”

he looked so giddy and he sat right next to you and started rambling on about the book

and here you were....just astonished how all of this is just happening

“i always see you around, do you live nearby or something??” he asked

you told him about your job and his already bright face somehow lit up more?? is that possible??

“I! LOVE! ICE CREAM!! Especially from that ice cream parlor!!”

he then started rambling about the most random things about ice cream

“no one can fight me on the fact that lemon sherbet is the best ice cream”

“i haven’t gone a week in my life without eating ice cream”

“did you know my Jeonghan hyung likes pistachio ice cream??”

he kept on talking for a while but honestly you didn’t mind it,,, like at all

you found out that he was just a sweet guy, but you still had your reservations about him since he still seemed like a player

it wasn’t till another life guard literally blew his whistle so hard that the cute life guard realized that he had to go

“hey, I like talking to you. Here gimme your phone”

he took it and put his number into it

“What’s you name” he asked while standing up

you told him your name and he took your hand and kissed it

“By the way, the name’s Jun” he said with a wink, then jogged back to his post

with your phone in your hand, kinda in a daze, you packed up your stuff and walked home, wondering what just happened

that night you got a text from Jun saying “come by my post tomorrow after work xxx”

the damn “xxx” part kept you up that night

those were hugs right??? so is he flirting??? is that just how he texts?? is he really a player

you told yourself not to fall for him, you didn’t need to have another heart break

....but just being friends isn’t bad, right?

during work the next day, you wondered the whole day why Jun wanted you to come by

you had a small pit of excitement in your stomach,,, ok huge ball of excitement but you tried to suppress it

after work you did as Jun asked and came by the post

Jun was there with a the other life guard from yesterday, they were talking but when Jun noticed you, he suddenly had a huge grin

your heart kinda skipped a beat since his smile was probably one of the prettiest smiles to ever exist

“Hey Jun, is this the pretty girl you were talking about yesterday?”

Jun smacked him in back as he gave out a little nervous chuckle

“H-haha um no, what pretty girl? I mean Y/N is pretty but like i didn’t talk about her,,,,WAIT”

You just blushed profusely, while the other life guard said “Um ok Jun, chill. Hey Y/N, my name’s Mingyu”

Mingyu was also really handsome, you could probably see yourself falling for him if it weren’t for Jun

....wait did you just say that....

“Y/N, let’s leave Mingyu alone, I wanna show you something”

Jun starts walking, the looks back to see if you’re walking with him and he smiles when he sees that you are

“What did you wanna show me Jun?”

“Nothing much,” he replied “It’s just that I have to walk around the beach to see if everything’s ok and I wanted to talk to someone while I did, I hope that’s ok with you?”

you told him that of course it was, and that you actually enjoyed walks and he smiled

“So I guess you like long walks on the beach” he said with an evil grin

you groaned and hit him for saying the overdone phrased and he just laughed while pouting, pretending that you actually hurt him

while on the walk it was just like that, you guys having a good conversation, a lot of banter from mostly his odd jokes

“Wait Y/N, I actually wanna show you something.” he says as he stops and crouches down near the shore

You look down with him, and you see that he picked up this gorgeous piece of turquoise sea glass

He looked so excited, so happy to get this little bit of glass

“I really love collecting sea glass, i think it’s one of the prettiest things the world can actually make”

You just smile as you watch him marvel at the piece of sea glass, then he just keeps it in his hand

you both start walking again, back to the post

once you reached back to the post, you realized you should start heading home

after saying your goodbye’s to Jun and Mingyu, you turn towards your direction, until you feel someone grasp you wrist

“Y/N, do you wanna go on a walk again tomorrow?”

You give him the biggest grin and agree, he gives a cute lil lopsided smile as he lets go of your hand

you walk back home and just are so confused

after spending that walk with him, you really want to like him freely, but you still remember that he could be a player

you just keep repeating “just be friends” over and over again in your head, as if that’s gonna somehow change your mind

he sent a goodnight text again with “xxx” which honestly made you feel butterflies

the next day, again, you meet him at his post and you guys went on the walk

this went on for a few days, you guys go on the walk, learn more about each other, make new jokes, collect sea glass

you honestly felt yourself falling. hard.

your anxiety of jun didn’t go away, until one day

you saw Jun flirting with another girl through the window of the ice cream parlor, and you were honestly jealous

until something clicked in your head

there was a pattern of who he talked to (don’t ask me how you remember lols)

the girl. always. had. a dog.

did junhui?? talk to the girls?? cause they had a dog??

you still weren’t sold so that day, while on the walk, you gathered the courage to ask him

“Umm Jun, do you talk to people on the beach if they have a dog?”

He looked honestly puzzled and you didn’t blame him cause your question was so randomly asked

“Ahh, yeah I kinda do. I usually start a conversation just to pet their dog” he said as he scratched the back of his neck, kinda embarrassed that he was exposed

“Wait, Y/N, how did you notice that? Are you watching me?” He says with his smirk

You laughed nervously, kinda blushing, while muttering ”w-what?? no, shut up”

He let it go but he had the same smirk the entire time

After that you pretty much had no doubt in your mind that Jun was perfect

After the walk that day, before you fell asleep you got a text from Jun

“Hey, do you want to hang out tomorrow night? I don’t have a shift tomorrow but I wanna see you”

You smiled at your phone and replied that you could and asked him what time

he texted back the time and that you should meet at the post as usual

“good night Y/N xoxo”

you were really shaken after that, it became normal that Jun sent x’s but this was the first time he sent hugs and kisses

after work the next day you went straight home to get ready

this wasn’t a date right? but it still oddly felt like you were getting ready for one

this was the first time he asked to hang out, like properly

you wore a floral dress with some wedges, hoping that it would seem casual enough yet still kinda nice

you got to the post kinda early, so you just sat on the stairs of it while waiting, you then see Jun

whenever you see him, he usually is dressed in the normal life guard attire, a white shirt with some shorts\

but today......goddamn

he was wearing a dressed up casual look, a blazer with a black shirt with some jeans on

he never looked so good, you kinda were awestruck by how he looked like an actual model

you smiled as you saw him, then you noticed what he was holding in his hand

was that?? a picnic basket??

“Hi, did you wait long? I was planning to get here earlier but I wanted to pick something up”

you told him that you didn’t wait long, then he signaled you to come follow him

“Um Jun? Where are we going?”

“Well as you have probably noticed, I have this picnic basket, and I wanted to have a picnic with you in my favorite spot on the beach”

You felt giddy, like you wanted to skip, as you both walked to where he wanted to go

He stopped and you notice where you were, it truly was so beautiful

It was kinda private, he lead you to a little piece of beach that was in between some rocks, what was amazing was the view

you had a great view of the whole beach from there, as well as the almost setting sun, you notice how lucky you were to always be at this beautiful beach

“I hope you like it here, i sometime come here to chill since it’s so serene” Jun says as he lays down a picnic blanket

this boy.... god bless his heart

he had brought candles, soda that he found out you liked and some rilled cheese sandwiches that were homemade, which is a great feat for Jun who never cooked

you both sat on the picnic blanket, eating the sandwiches that he made, talking with each other until he stopped the conversation

‘Wait, I want you to see this”

You’re really glad he said this since you saw the sunset and how beautiful the cascade of oranges, reds, pinks in the sky affected the beach and how it made it ten times prettier

As you were amazed by the view, you shuddered as there was a gush of cold air

Jun noticed and took off his blazer

“Ahh Y/N, you should have brought a jacket tsk tsk” he said playfully shaking his head yet he still put the blazer around you

“Aren’t you gonna be cold?” you asked him, but he just shushed you and proceeded to change the subject

It was getting kinda dark, the candles were your only source of light at this point

the flickering fire made Jun look even more handsome, really highlighting the beautiful sun-kissed skin he got from working at the beach

“Y/N, would you do me a favor? Could you close your eyes?” you were confused but agreed nonetheless

your eyes closed, you felt him brush your hair and put it to one side, then put something around your neck

as he did this he softly talked, it seemed like he was very close to your ear

“You know how I said I was running late cause I had to pick something up? Well it was for this”

You opened your eyes and he gave handed you a mirror

you saw that you had on this necklace, and not just any necklace

it was a dainty silver chain attached to a pendant,,,

the pendant was the turquoise sea glass he found with you the first time you guys went on a walk

“When I found it with you, I knew I wanted you to have it somehow. I thought giving it to you as a necklace was a good way,,,though I’m not sure if you would really like it” Jun stammered, looking down as if what he did wasn’t the sweetest thing anyone has done for you

You couldn’t really contain your happiness, so you hugged him

he tensed up but then immediately relaxed and hugged you back

he pushed you off of him and looked at you in the eyes

“Y/N, I don’t think I can hang out with you anymore...”

your heart sunk and you looked so sad

“what?” you said softly

“I don’t think I can handle hanging out with you anymore because I don’t want it to be a hang out, I want it to be an actual date. Y/N, will you go out with me”

Your brain went through a roller coaster, you were sad, then happy, and then kinda mad cause he played you like that

you slapped him so hard that it gotta hurt but finally you told him “Yes Jun, I definitely wanna go out with you”

You guys were just the cutest, just smiling all night, talking more, you may have *cough cough* kissed a lot *cough*

you were in his arms as you guys were lying down, watching the stars

until you saw a bright light shine on you guys

“I’m glad you guys FINALLY got together, but Jun you know no one can be at the beach at this hour”

the voice and blinding from a flashlight was from none other than Kim Mingyu and he probably regretted doing that since Jun was gonna kill him

As you guys had to leave the beach (MIngyu’s orders), Jun walked you home

You guys reached your front door and before going in Jun asked you something

“Tomorrow, do I get the privilege of having free lemon sherbet at the ice cream parlor since I’m now your boyfriend?”

You roll your eyes before telling him of course, then kissing him on the cheek good night

As you locked your door you wonder how crazy your life is gonna be now that that lil weirdo is your boyfriend

yayy!!! after 2 hours wowie. Again, I’m sorry it took this long to actually write this, last time I started writing this I had writer’s block and left my computer for a bit before finding out all that I have written got deleted, so I gave up lol. Look forward to hoshi soon!!!

Summer Jobs Series (svt) - hairdresser!joshua

(reposting because something went wrong) hellooooo! I feel really really bad for not updating in a while. I was to update a long time ago but I hadn’t been feeling up to it. I would want to finish this series before I go back to school (in two weeks!!) so here I am :) I hope my writing isn’t that rusty whoops!!!

you really loved the new city you had moved to

it was so pretty and you would love to explore your neighborhood before you started your new year of college here!!!

except ,,, it was literally burning everyday

IT WAS SO HOT like looking outside made you start to sweat

the only time you would be ok with going out is after the sunsets cause the heat was actually tolerable

and the city lights were nice at night but you would like to stay out for longer

so one day you were like !! I had enough !! so you decided that you wanted to cut your hair pretty short so that you could lose the weight of your hair and maybe finally go outside in the sun and not die

and why not just dye your hair too, so you’re gonna have it balayage into a dusty rose

so you waited to till the sun set to go find a new hair salon

you walked around until you found one that you thought would be nice

it was a bit small but looked very minimalistic (how aesthetically pleasing

you went in and went to the front desk, where a nice lady smiled at you

you asked if you were able to dye and cut your hair today even if you didn’t have an appointment but she graciously said of course!!!

so she lead to to one of the chairs and went to get a hair dresser for you

you were on your phone, getting your reference photos for your hair ready, till you heard someone clear their throat

you could have gasped from seeing him, thank god you saved yourself from embarrassing yourself

what a beautiful boy wow

he had such an elegant aura around him, yet he looked so simply pretty

he looked like he was around your age, he wore a long sleeve white button up shirt with some black pants with one of those hairdressing tool belts

he looked a bit shy but nevertheless had this bright smile that blew you away

“hi!! my name’s joshua!! um,,, i heard you wanted to have a dye and cut? would you mind tell me how you would want to do it?”

you nervously said of course!!! my name is y/n btw!! and then you frantically tried to get the reference photo

and when you got them you were going to hand it to him but he,,,leaned down,,,and peered at it from your shoulders

you were so stiff as he looked at your phone ,,, he was too close ,,,

but you couldn’t help appreciate how good he smelled and how pretty he looked in the mirror in front of you

after assessing the photos joshua was like ok!!! lets get to work!!! and rolled his sleeves up which looked so good you could die

he was the sweetest person ever

even if it was a bit awkward at first, he made the conversation really smooth

you found out that he in fact was your age, he worked at the salon since he was 16 since his family ran the salon

when you guys found out that you were both going to the same college, he was !!! so happy!!

“I can’t believe we’re going to the same college!!! that’s gonna be so fun!!”

you guys found out you had a class together and joshua got !!! even more !! hyped !!! which was honestly so adorable

you guys easily talked about anything and everything, but there were times where he was concentrating so there was a comfortable silence

you didn’t really mind cause you were able to admire him through the mirror

he once had eye contact with you and you both were a blushing mess

you were honestly having such a good time talking to him that you didn’t notice how late it was getting

you only realized when the lady at the front desk told joshua to lock up the place after you guys were done that it was already 9 pm ,,, you’ve been here for like 3 hours?? you didn’t even realize??

you were profusely apologizing to joshua for coming so late and for choosing to get a look that took so long

he was like ?? are you kidding ?? its 100000% fine this is fun for me too

cue fluttering heart

you were like !!!! i need to make it up to you !!! so you decided you’ll order pizza for you guys

you ordered the pizza even though joshua kept saying that it was fine

when the pizza came your hair was cut but not finished and your hair was dyed and washed but wasn’t dried

even if you weren’t done you guys took a break from all the hair stuff cause it was getting TOO MUCH

you guys joked around and ate the pizza happily

you found out that you both liked the same music after he put on breathless by corrine bailey rae

“hey!!! I love this song!!!”

“y/n, you are officially the best person ever”

you guys were jamming out and you saw that this sweet, elegant, gentlemanly boy ,,, is such a dork and you loved it

he got really into the song and even danced weirdly which made you both burst out laughing

after an hour of just silliness you guys finally went back to the hair

joshua wanted to surprise you when you saw the hair at the end so he covered up the mirror

he delicately and precisely cut hair, blow dried it and finally curled it

when he was finished you were just really giddy and excited

joshua was about to take the towel off the mirror to let you see your hair when he looked a bit anxious

“y/n ,,, it was my first time dying hair like this ,,, so I am so so so so sorry if I somehow messed it up or if it doesn’t live up to your expectations”

the already disappointed look on his face broke your heart ,,, what a sweet guy

you assured him that you were so sure you were gonna love it and you were 100000% positive it came out great

he looked unsure but gave you an adorable half smile and was like ok,,,if you’re sure

then he pulled off the towel from the mirror

god

you knew that hair shouldn’t define how pretty you were or anything, but you truly thought that this was the best you’ve looked. EVER.

the length complimented the color of the hair and your bone structure so much, the dye came out even prettier than you imagined, and your hair was curled perfectly

and it was all because of joshua

you were so happy with the cut you jumped out of the chair and hugged joshua while you kept squealing about loving it so much

while you repeatedly thanked him joshua was. so. overwhelmed.

he was so shocked he was pretty sure his heart skipped a beat

seeing how happy you looked with something he did, all that hours of work was so worth it

he was so glad you liked it his already big smile got even bigger

you were so happy, you didn’t mind helping him clean up and close the salon

joshua insisted on walking you home since it was almost midnight and he wouldn’t want anything to happen to you

so while you were walking home you were rambling about how happy you were with your hair and how you could finally go out and explore the city

when you got to your apartment complex you were saying your goodbyes and you were walking away,,, but then you felt someone holding your hand

joshua shyly offered ,,, if you were free tomorrow ,,, maybe he could show you around the city ,,, if you needed

and your face must have turned beet red and you don’t know where your courage came from ,, but you asked if it was as a date

and now it was joshua's turn to blush but you did hear him softly say yes

you were so happy you just squeezed his hand and said you'd love to

his ears tinged red and he looked so happy it squeezed your heart

you guys exchanged phone numbers and set the time he would come by again tomorrow

and before you went to sleep, you got a text from joshua

“I don't think I can sleep, I can't wait to see you tomorrow ;)”

you guys texted until the wee hours of the day until you both fell asleep

but lord knows you both fell asleep smiling

AHHHHH personally this is one of my favorites already whoops. Do I have something for guys and hair or something (this plus seungcheol in my first au whoops). PLS APPRECIATE MY RESEARCH I DID FOR MS CORRINE BAILEY RAE (jk i already knew joshua liked her and i liked that song) but go listen to the song it kinda?? relates to the au?? ANYWAYS, I'm really sorry this took such a long time to upload!!! I'll try to be a lot more consistent for the next two weeks, but I’ll probably only write maybe one au a week when school starts :( But thank you so much to those who like and support my writing <3

Soulmates! AU (bts) - Jungkook

hi hello (hehe day6) I just had the idea for some soul mate au for our golden maknae, jungkookie!! I don’t know if I will do this for all the members for bts whoops! anyways, hope you enjoy!

In this world, opposites really do attract

when you’re born you will have a tattoo that gives you a hint to who your soulmate is

your soulmate will have a tattoo that is the exact opposite of yours

both of your tattoos will be placed in the same place on your body

so you could have a straight line on your wrist while they had a circle on their wrist too

for you, you had a minimalistic fox on your right shoulder

you weren’t really fond of the thought of soulmates at first

when you were younger, while the other girls kept checking everyones tattoos to see if they had already met their soulmate, you just minded your own business, not really interested

you were already in college and a lot of your friends had found their soul mates

your best friend namjoon had found his soulmate at a cafe, when he saw that the barista had a sun on her pinky while he had a moon on his

they’ve been going strong ever since which you found adorable ,,,,,,, and now that you were older ,,,,,, you kinda longed for something like that

since namjoon was your best friend, he introduced you to some friends he’s made in his classes

jimin and taehyung, who found out they were soul mates only a few months ago

hoseok, who met his soulmate during a dance class

jin, who’s soulmate was a waitress at his favorite restaurant

yoongi, who found his soulmate through his music theory class

the only people in your friend group that didn’t meet their soulmate yet was you ,,,, and jungkook

you asked jungkook what his tattoo was but he just dismissed it since he said he didn’t really care about the soulmate thing

which kinda made your heart sink ,,,, cause you kinda developed a crush on him??

you guys always hung out since everyone would go on dates with their soulmate

and even if you and jungkook were really different, you guys just always had a fun time together

not to mention he was so adorable and sweet

yoongi told you that jungkook is usually shy around new people but he seemed to open up to you pretty easily

you guys liked different stuff, like he would play shooter games while you liked roleplaying games, he liked chocolate while you liked vanilla, he liked summer while you liked winter

even though you guys always bickered about those things, you always found a way to have fun together

but when you guys hung out you are always kind of sad because ,,,, you would want to start something with jungkook ,,, but what if you met your soulmate while you were dating him?? what would you do then??

one rainy day, you unexpectedly had a very wet jungkook on your door step

“hi y/n! um I went out to get some stuff when it was drizzling without an umbrella cause i thought it would be fine. Didn’t expect it to rain more and since your house was the closest, can I come in”

you shook your head with a smile and of course let him in

jungkook was really wet, like and adorable little puppy, so you went to go get some clothes your brother luckily left at your place

you handed him a towel with some pants and a tank top

“sorry this was the best I could find”

jungkook kept thanking you and saying you were his life saver

you heated up some left over pizza you had from earlier and you made some hot chocolate while he went to change

when he came back he was as good as new

you guys picked out a movie and were going to eat your food in your living room

it was fun as usual ,,, but you kinda noticed ,,, as he reached out for a slice of pizza ,,,, some ink on his right shoulder

your eyes kinda widened and now you were really curious

you anxiously asked if he had his tattoo on his shoulder

and he was like ??? oh yeah!! yeah it’s kinda stupid ,,,, I kinda have a rabbit on my right shoulder ,,, lame right?? and he started laughing as he showed you

but you couldn’t laugh ,,, you just sat there with your wide eyes and mouth agape

jungkook was like ??? y/n ??? are you ok???

then you meekly shrugged off your shirt over your right shoulder to show him your fox

and then he also was shocked as you were, but then he had the brightest smile on his face

then he finally spoke up

“umm, I wouldn’t want this to be our first date, so do you wanna go to your favorite restaurant?”

as he finished his question the power went out from the pour outside

“you know what? i think this is the perfect place for our first date” you said as you stood up

jungkook ???was puzzled??? but stood up with you

“y/n? what are we doing?” he said. but you just stayed silent as you found your candles

he went along with it and helped you light and place the candles all over the room

the place looked so romantic ,,,,, jungkook finally understood what you were doing

you guys set up your table for a your candle lit dinner

and even if you guys were eating leftover pizza, it was truly a fun dinner

even if you guys just found out that you were soulmates, there wasn’t anything different ,,,, other than you guys can finally show your feelings toward each other

jungkook, with his usually shy bunny-like attitude, was oddly courageous

he kept flirting with you now and even held your hand for a bit

your heart was fluttering and a wave of happiness washed over you ,,, as you realized that the guy was not only your soulmate, but he had interest and maybe even feelings toward you too ,,,,

as you guys were finishing up the dinner the power came back on

you decided you were gonna finish your movie

and when you were watching the movie ,,, jungkook kept scooching closer ,,, and closer ,,, and eventually held your hand

you didn’t mind at all, you were flushed red, and you leaned your head on his shoulder

you were falling asleep during the movie

and you guess that jungkook thought you were asleep when he whispered to you, but you heard every word

“i remember telling you before i didn’t really believe in soulmates ,,,, i did i just liked you too much that even if you weren’t my soulmates I would still try to make it work”

he kissed your forehead then continued to watch the movie, but you felt content, happy that you were complete

hahahahaha this probably sucked im really sorry but i liked the idea of the tattoo soulmate thing but kind of put my own spin on it??? i promise i’ll go back and revise this again because this isn’t my best whoops.

Summer Jobs Series (svt) - retailworker!jeonghan

ok imma write about my favorite person in the entire world rn so I don’t even know if I can finish this without exploding with feels !!! i probably won’t check this after writing it so sorry for grammar and whatnot /// anyways, enjoy~

being a broke college student had its ups and downs

you’ve been to more job interviews than there are stars in the sky

and the jobs you’ve done have been absolute hell

serving rude families with crying babies at diners, being creepily hit on when you were a barista, being asked the most simple and obvious questions and having to answer them when you worked at a call center

you’ve never had a job you truly liked ,,, you kinda just had to do them or else you would be worse off than you already were

until one day you noticed that a clothing store you pass by often had a help wanted sign

you couldn’t believe your luck

you were a fashion design major and have always dreamed about working in something even slightly related to your passion

you applied and were ecstatic when you got the job

like jumping around on the street happy after being told you got the job because !!! you don’t have to serve screaming children and low tippers anymore !!!

you came in the next day, literally skipping on your way there

you get to the clothing store, which is actually quite big for how it isn’t one of those corporate company owned stores

in fact it felt very cosy ,,, it felt like being in a really aesthetically pleasing thrift store

it offered a lot different styles of clothing, appealing to a lot of different customers /// the neutral color palette of the whole store also helped the whole feel ///

when you met the manager, she kindly welcomed you and helped you get acquainted with the store

she then was like !!!! i forgot !!! i need to go check on the clothes being shipped in !!!! then she tells you to stay put while she finds another employee that can help train you

when she comes back she comes back with ,,, the most beautiful ,,, perfect looking guy you have ever seen ,,, he had the fluffiest and softest looking blonde hair you have ever seen, the prettiest facial structure that was enhanced by his thin rimmed glasses

he wore a simple white tee with black ripped jeans ,,,, and even if the look was incredibly normal ,,, you were just starstruck by his beauty

you had to internally scream at yourself to shut your gaping mouth and stop drooling over him

he was smiling like crazy and was like !!!! hi!!! im jeonghan!!! you’re new yeah??!!

you’re still in disbelief at your incredible luck as you stupidly just nod and introduce yourself ,, still in a daze he just laughs, keeping the situation light

you both said goodbye to your manager as she runs around frantically cause wHerE ArE mY KeYs????

jeonghan’s then like shall we start??? then he GRABS YOUR WRIST AND BRINGS YOU AROUND

and your hearts like !!!! while your brains like ???? why are you overreacting ??? right it’s because he’s someone you haven’t met before!!! yeah absolutely that’s exactly why your heart is pounding so loud people across the street would think a marching band is coming through the city

and he’s just too nice ,,, he happily shows you where the inventory is and how they organize, how the cash register operates, what to do in some situations

and you just kinda start to relax ,,, and actually start being like yourself cause you realize ,,, for someone as pretty as him he’s just like any other person

and then you start joking around with him

and that’s kinda how you guys became friends

your manager was swamped with work the rest of the week so jeonghan basically trained you

and since you pretty much got the gist of it from the first day its been pretty smooth sailing

you guys weren’t the only ones working at the store but you just always kinda ,,, gravitated towards each other and just always helped each other

it wasn’t like you guys weren’t friends with the other employees it just that it just felt really comfortable when you guys were working together

jeonghan will never admit it but having you around was like a blessing cause you never realized that you basically did like all the work while he did one thing in the past hour evil,evil angel

and even when things were hectic and all in the store you guys just always had each other’s backs

there was this one time where jeonghan was dealing with this guy who kept yelling about something no one understood and he just looked at you and mouthed help

you smirked at him and pretended you couldn’t understand what he was trying to tell you even though he knew you could

jeonghan’s pleading look got to you so you just sighed and decided to help as if you weren’t gonna sooner or later

you came over and sweetly asked what the problem was

and you just smoothed over the problem like it was no biggie and jeonghan’s like you, you are my god

on days that were pretty slow cause the lack of customers, you guys would sneak some snacks in and eat them in the back room

you guys would play games and you were dying cause ??? he always won ?? how ?? he would just smile as sickly sweet as he could while saying that no one could beat the angel before laughing

he told you mindlessly before that he kinda nicknamed himself angel and you gave out the biggest laugh since he was far away from being angelic except from his looks wait i didn’t say that what

you guys would just play games when you were bored in the store ,,, like who could come up with the ugliest outfits and stuff

you always had a good time with each other whether there was nothing to do or when you both are literally dying because of all the work to be done

you had just become so comfortable with each other ,,, talking about anything and everything and always enjoying each other’s company

one day on a particularly boring shift jeonghan was like y/n~ i’m so bored~~~

you laugh while you fold clothes and ask what he had in mind

he then was like !!! we should try to make an outfit for each other !!! and whoever has the better one wins !!!

you’re like alright game on, but the loser has buy the winner ice cream after this shift

and he smirks and hes like you got yourself a deal

so you guys have 20 minutes to make an outfit for each other

you casually walk around the store ,,, pretending to be fixing stuff up at the mens area and secretly take the clothes you wanted

you took this white plain tee and paired it with a denim jacket that had a fur lined collar, then took some black ripped skinny jeans

it was yet again another simple look but jeonghan didn’t usually wear something flashy

you thought it would suit him ,,, it was chic yet simple and very boyfriend

you met up with him at the third floor ,,, somewhere where your boss or coworkers wouldn’t find you guys goofing off even though they knew you guys would

you both put the clothes in bags so the other wouldn’t see until you got into the dressing room

once you both got in your separate stalls you both gasped softly

you opened the bag and saw this ///outfit///

it was a white shirt dress paired with a denim flannel

he even got you accessories ,,, a simple gold chained necklace with your name’s initial ,,, as well as a gorgeous charm bracelet with a charm of your favorite animal

and that really touched your heart ,, like he remembered you saying you loved that animal from a while ago

after you guys changed you came out of the stalls and looked at each other ,,, then looked at both of you in a mirror

“wow we are totally matching” jeonghan says, still gazing at the mirror

you guys started laughing as your outfits are eerily similar

you kinda ,,, liked it ,,, liked that you were matching

“I gotta say that I won on this one though” he mentions with a confident smile

“what! the outfit fits you wayyy more are you kidding me?”

“what?? the outfit fits you beautifully ,,, and i even got you accessories!!!!”

you had to cave in and were like ugh fine you win i’ll get you some ice cream

you guys were about to change when jeonghan grabbed your wrist to stop you from changing back

“umm ,,, you don’t have to change,,”

and you’re like ??? jeonghan that’s stealing??? i need to change back lol

and jeonghan’s suddenly shy, which is rare, and starts looking down at the floor

“i kinda bought the outfit for you already ,,,, cause i knew you would look amazing in it ,,,”

and you are ///FLUSTERED/// and you’re intensly blushing as you’re like what??? no no no you didn’t need to ??? i can’t take this

and he holds onto your wrist a bit more firmly and looks into you eyes as he’s like please just take it ,,, you look beautiful in it ,,, if you really wanna pay me back for it ,,, you could go on a date wih ,e?

and here comes the butterflies in your stomach is it bad that my hearts beating hard for this??

and you’re like you wanna go on a date with me?

and hes like yeah,,, ever since you’re and i saw you checking me out LOL

at this point you’re a blushing mess but he makes you look at him and takes both of your hands

and he’s like i seriously like you and asked if that’s a yes and you’re like !!! yes, of course !!!

his smile looked so heavenly you thought you saw a halo above your head as he was like imma go change now, don’t you dare change out of that amazing outfit brought to you by yours truly

you laugh as you think that’s probably one of the last things you would think of doing right now

after he’s done you both giddly try to get out of work early by telling your manager you both have the flu and you both try to act sick

but your manager just becomes giddy and is like YOU GUYS ARE GOING ON A DATE AREN’T YA

and you’re like what?!?! no!!! we’re both dying from sickness that’s all!!!

your manager wasn’t even listening to you as she was running around telling the other employees that the ship has sailed !!!! jeonghan finally did it !!!

you and jeonghan are like ,,, what have we done to her ,,,

your manager then pushes you both out of the store and tell you to take the whole damn weekend off

while you guys are walking off you can hear the whistles and cheers of your co-workers and the occasional ‘don’t forget to invite me to your wedding’

and the date was perfect

you guys just walked around the city, taking pictures of each other, buying all the street food you could then sitting at a nearby park

and the date felt so natural ,,, just like you were hanging out

except ,,, the hand holding, hugging and ,,, kissing hdkssk

you guys wouldn’t usually show pda but you both were just so happy and giddy you couldn’t get enough of each other

and before you said good bye you bought jeonghan his ice cream ,,, and maybe had the best goodbye kiss you’ve ever had sjdkdj

all you could think about that night was even if you lost the game that day ,,, getting your job, meeting jeonghan and falling for him made you the true winner

Summer Job Series (svt) - babysitter!seungcheol

This is my first ever scenario but I hope you like it !!!

you can’t say you love babysitting

it’s not that you were bad per se, it just that you couldn’t really handle all the energy

you had younger twin brothers, who were cute and all ,,, until they steal your stuff to see if they can sell it to buy more action figures

they were eight and running everywhere, messing with everything, and it was just too much

your parents never let you babysit them by yourself cause they knew you couldn’t handle it

and thank god cause even you can’t trust yourself with taking care of them

but also wow I’m in college, I can’t even take care of my brothers smh

your parents were having a dinner party with the parents of the twins’ friends

so basically wine sipping adults and six year olds running around everywhere ,,, great

it seemed fine cause all you had to do was help set up then you could stay in your room away from the mess

UNTIL

your parents call you down from your room and tell you that the adults wanted to go out for karaoke ...

and you’re like no, nonononono you can’t leave me alone I cAnt evEN taKE CaRe oF mYseLf!!!! LET ALONE 5 KIDS

and your parents are like pls chill, our regular babysitter (who you were pretty good friends with) can’t make it tonight so one of the parents called one of their regulars

and you’re like ,,,, ok but this makes it harder cause idk this person gskflsj

and they’re like you’ll be fine!!! please do this for us!! the children will be up for just another two hours then they’ll go to sleep !!!! please !!!

you give in cause you don’t really have a choice

the parents stay until the babysitter comes

the door bell rings and you hear your parents welcome them in

you look up from your phone and were genuinely surprised

there was a guy, seemingly college age as well, walks into the living room

he walks up to you as you stand up from the couch

he shakes your hand and smiles

and ,,, his hand is really big and is rough but in a nice way??? what

and his smile, it made you melt cause it was just too cute

“hey, my name’s Seungcheol nice to meet you,”

he was too polite and kind it was weird

jk it was nice and adorable you couldn’t help but smile warmly and introduce yourself as politely as he did

“Seungcheol’s been our regular babysitter for the past 3 years, he’s basically a pro don’t worry y/n” said one of the parents

he blushed and was like what!! noooo

he was incredibly handsome like you have never seen someone look that good in a plain black tee and jeans

as the parents were saying goodbye to their kids, Seungcheol came and stood next to you

“umm I kinda heard that you aren’t that comfortable with kids so if you want you don’t really have to do anything”

you looked at him with the utmost surprise which made him ??? so confused

you began laughing and he’s like what’s funny?

then you told him that he’s gonna die trying to take care of this many rowdy kids, no matter how good of a babysitter he is

he smirked smugly and said let’s see really confidently

and you’re like /// woah what happened to the polite seungcheol??? I miss him now

and now it’s his turn to laugh

now in the house its just you two with the kids

the first two minutes seemed peaceful enough ,,, then the screaming began

three of the boys were fighting over whose action figures were better

the two girls were watching barbie as the princess and the pauper and were fighting over who was better, anneliese or erika

you and seungcheol look at each other and just sigh

“as much as I like the barbie movies, I’m gonna go sort out the boys with the action figure fiasco”

you laugh and laugh even more when he mentions that he prefers erika over anneliese but they’re both pretty bad ass

you go to girls and try to calm them down

like hey!!! both princesses are cool !!! anneliese is really intelligent while erika is talented !!! and they’re best friends so you should like both of them

the girls were like ,,, thats true ,,,,

then the wedding scene comes and the three of you smile and sing along to the cute song

seungcheol looked and you and thought ,,, wow ,,, she’s really pretty ,,, and she sings really well ,,,

you look at seungcheol and smile at him

you’ve always found it adorable when guys are really good with kids

this is the first time you’ve seen it in real life, only in movie and tv shows

you see him be like !!! obviously my action figure is better !!! like look at all the weapons that come with it !!!

the boys were fascinated and stopped fighting when they realized seungcheol was right ,,, his was way cooler

seeing this made your heart melt since like !!! how adorable is this !!!

it was already time for bed so you both help the kids get ready for bed

they were in the living room, the boys already tired out from fighting, already sound asleep

you and seungcheol watched the kids ,,, standing like proud parents

until one of the girls woke up rather frantically

she then started crying

you and seungcheol rush to her ,, worried sick

seungcheol pet her hair while she hugged him

“what’s wrong mina?? what happened??” he said as he comforted her

seeing seungcheol being so caring for this little girl ,,, made your heart hurt from the cuteness

“cheolie, I had a nightmare... can i have some warm milk,,,” she said feebly

“of course, y/n and I will go get it” he said as he gave her one last squeeze before releasing from the hug

she sniffled as you lead seungcheol to the kitchen

as much as that was sweet scene, you couldn’t miss out on this opportunity

“cheolie?”

he blushed as you mentioned the nickname ,,, he was too cute you couldn’t stop smiling

“yeah, mina was 5 when I first babysat her and she had a hard time saying my name, so she just called me cheolie... guess it just kinda stuck”

“awww you’re just too cute” you say as you pinch his cheek

“im cute?” he looks smugly

you looked away and he just laughs

you guys get to the kitchen and heat up the milk

you have random conversation, how school’s going and all

as you guys walk back to mina with her warm milk you see her smile weakly

“are you better honey?” you say as you brush the stray hairs from her face

she nods and smiles meekly ,,,,

“cheolie, can you braid my hair”

he smiles as he gets to work

its a comfortable silence ,, just watching him gently french braid her hair

and like he is REALLY good, like he is instagram worthy good

as he finishes he shows her how she looks through his phone

and mina just ,,, smiles like the cutest lil smile ever

she hugs him as a thank you and your heart is practically bursting cause this was the cutest thing you have ever seen

“alright mina, you really should go back to sleep now. Y/N and I will be here if you need us again” seungcheol says so warmly

mina lays down and closes her eyes, quickly falling asleep

you and seungcheol sit on the couch, the room dimly lit while all you could hear are the soft breathes of the kids sleeping

you’re siting next to each other ,,, a little too close for people that have just met ,, but it feels really nice

“so you know how to braid hair too huh? what can’t you do” you say making him smile

“having been mina’s babysitter for three years teaches you a couple things” he says chuckling a bit

you tell him how you can’t even braid your hair half as nice as he can

“want me to braid your hair for you?”

you’re shocked cause ,,, like what a weird thing BUT YES PLS

he starts braiding your hair and it’s like heaven

his big hands are surprisingly really gentle, he softly takes pieces of hair and incorporates it into your hair

as he finished you were really giddy and really wanted to see how it looked

you saw yourself through your phone ,,, and you were genuinely surprised

its was perfect ,,, the braid being loose while also keeping its form really well

he had left pieces of hair out to frame your face and you truly felt so pretty because of it

seungcheol looked at you happily, noticing how happy and giddy you were from something he did

“you are truly amazing, you know that right” you say, beaming at him

“well it helps that you are just absolutely beautiful to begin with” he says softly as he comes closer and closer towards you

you look away at the sweet compliment but he takes you face gently into his hands ,,, and when you’re looking at him he softly tucks a piece of your hair behind your ear

and slowly ,, slowly you just gravitate towards each other

the kiss was sweet and gentle, giving you a million butterflies in your stomach

when you guys pulled away you guys were smiling so much it would probably creep out people if they were watching

but you guys were just so !!! happy !!!

you held hands as you leaned your head on his shoulder ,,, whispering your conversation so you didn’t wake the kids

and you were just so ... comfortable ... that you just started to drift off ///

“Y/N wake up, the parents are back” he said softly, nudging you to wake you up

seungcheol thought that you looked so adorable ,,,, all sleepy and beautiful ,,,

you guys stretched once you got up and quietly greeted the parents when they came in

you both helped them carry their kids and their belongings back to their car

as the parents left, your parents gave you the money to pay seungcheol then headed off to bed, tired from being up waaay too late

as you walked him to the door, you tried to give him the money but he refused

“meeting you is worth way more than any amount of money”

as you practically melted and supported yourself on the door frame he looked at you cheekily

“although, you could pay me with one last kiss and a date”

you couldn’t even reply when he already went in for the kiss

when it ended it left you starstruck cause like wow ,,, that was a lot more passionate then the last one

“can I assume from you kissing me back that it’s a yes for the date” he asked, smirking

you smile and are like well duh captain obvious

you guys exchange numbers and you watch him get into his car and drive off

and you just go and flop down on your bed and think ,,, babysitting isn’t that bad after all
