Almond tofu and Xiao
Does anyone know why Xiao's favorite food is almond tofu? Has anyone read his third story? I don't think people have cause, if they did, they'd know better than call him a fluffy uwu boy for eating soft, sugary snacks (actually, there are multiple reasons as to why he is NOT a fluffy uwu boy but let's not right now).
As we all know, from his backstory, he was basically a bad god's slave/toy only meant for destruction. After he or his comrades caused said destruction they would feed on the people's they killed ambitions which, in my opinion,is not an ideal meal to keep a warrior going... Get a salad, it's easier to make and as far as I know you don't need to murder entire clans to get one but I'm not an expert so don't take my word. Anyhow, he didn't have it easy but neither did anyone during the archon war.
Although we'd think that he hated doing so, slaughtering and then sucking the life out of living beings, he actually... Quite enjoyed it. It is not directly confirmed but, from what I could find, he never actually mentions that 'yeah, eating people is rude, get out of my way now' which makes me believe that human dreams was his favorite midnight snack.
This paragraph will get a little out of topic so feel free to skip it but I find it extremely interesting. He was forced into devouring human dreams and he shows regret doing so even though he liked it. Likewise, he is 'forced' to kill because he thinks he can't do anything else and regrets it but he can't escape because he's just so used to it: he's never known a life without battle and I think that it's so sad, give him a century long break, he deserves it! Petition to make Mihoyo do it, who's with me?
Moving on, Xiao glows in excitement whenever he eats almond tofu, no mistake. The people at the inn say so and so does the traveler... So, in the end, what's his deal? And why did I write all if this to conclude with a quote from his wiki page? Well, I don't know but you beared through this with me and I'm proud of you!
'Occasionally, Xiao stops by the inn for a bowl of Almond Tofu, and if you could see the look on his face when he eats it... there's no mistaking it — he clearly loves the stuff.'
'Nonetheless, it is not the sweet taste that Xiao hankers after. It's the texture he finds irresistible — apparently, it's very similar to that of the dreams he used to devour.'
The reason he loves this diss so much is because it reminds him of the dreams... He used to devour... In the Archon war era when that was normal... And because he can't do that anymore he eats almond tofu to remind him... Of when he would eat... Human ambitions...

So, I'm crying while writing this cause why not huh but I'm one of those morons that hadn't read 'Timeless(we got 30 days)' and I just did and it HURTS.
To be completely honest I didn't cry as much as I expected but godammit, was that a good cry. Iwaoi angst fanfiction is made for elites and emotionally unstable and unavailable bitches so you bet your ass I read it. As an emotionally unstable and unavailable bitch.
Like, how cool was that? Forced to be in a relationship with Oikawa? sign me up! Da hell, Iwaizumi was just ungrateful lmao.
The way Oikawa died? Pure tragedy gold. I don't even know if their love was unrequited or not, I did not pay attention, I was screeching like a baby pigeon.
Truth be told I cried more reading about their kiss tasting like bubblegum than Oikawa DYING. That was fun, ig. Crashed by tables because of an explosion? Why not! Kudos for creativity (the heaven part, omgs, I'd die for them hdbsnsv).
