The “Egg Smasher” is a performance piece wherein the artist becomes a technician working to make sure that the piece operates to smash paint-filled eggs onto a piece of paper covered in sharp metal scraps. The audience is invited into the hectic world of the creator, enjoying the anxiety and excitement that comes with the question “Will this actually work?”
