In my junior year of high school, this guy asked me on a date. He rented a redbox movie and made a pizza. We were watching the movie and the oven beeped so the pizza was done. He looked me dead in the eye and said, “This is the worst part.” I then watched this boy open the oven and pull the pizza out with his bare hands, rack and all, screaming at the top of his lungs. I'll be honest, I have not seen Kimi's merch until I saw your ask.
This is one of the first images it pops up
Lmao y'all, how can you not see that IS an Iron Cross? I get that the Swastika has been appropriated by Nazism as THE Nazi symbol, but I refuse to believe there's people out there who actually are not familiar with the Iron Cross being associated with one of the highest military medals that the Nazi dished out to military members who distinguished themselves in WW2.

The Iron Cross was adopted by biker gangs because of the controversial connotation that came along with it. I get that there are lots of "biker gangs" nowadays, but lets be real... Gangs like Hells Angels were not start up because they wanted to create a welcoming environment for disenfranchised people of all genders and races.
I get that the culture is different now, you think biker and you immediately associate a mental image of 'California dreaming while cruising on the West Coast on a Harley' or maybe a chopper decorated with pretty flames and squiggly lines.
Which, alright, this kinda fits the aesthetic

I know white people especially struggle with this concept but like when a Palestinian, or any other group of Black or brown people are calling you in and making a general statement about the state of the allyship for our causes, and making criticism of common behaviours or whatever else, that is NOT an invitation for you to confess your own shortcomings or your journey of self-improvement. Especially not under our posts. Make your own post if you really feel like it. But we don't need to hear your personal story of how you ignored our long-standing genocide until you saw enough people doing the right thing and you decided to follow. Keep that to yourself.
These posts are meant for you to REFLECT ON YOURSELF! BY YOURSELF! QUIETLY! And decide on your OWN what part of your behaviours you can identify being criticized in these posts and fix them!! And if you need help you can ask a question without necessarily giving us all the details of how you used to be ignorant or whatever. We're not here to hand out forgiveness we're trying to help coordinate and organize people to be more cohesive and we're giving you tips to be better allies.
