Gimme a smoosh

Aaaaa I absolutely LOVE how this came out Yumi giving Kiryu a smoosh :3 Yumi doesn't like to get kisses but absolutely love giving some...which isn't Kiryu's case. Kiryu's never been fan of affection signs tbh. Hates being picked up, wants pats VERY little, doesn't like to stay on laps or anything.   I remember Nietzsche LOVED laying down on my laps for every artworks I made or video games I played...he even watched movies with me. If I try to do the same with Kiryu...he'll try to flee lol And if I do it with Yumi...she'll piss on me xDD   Here's the ref picture of them

Story :  

After leaving Sorrows, his enormous soot-black stallion, to drink in a nearby river, Yvain, the paladin, resumed his journey, under the glow of the sun which reflected colours on his golden sword. The road was calm, quiet, now that they had left the noisy town of Roladmenry an hour ago. Yvain, peaceful, was thoughtful about the meeting he had just had a short time before. He had seen, out of the corner of his eye, in the street along which he was walking, holding Sorrows' bridle at arm's length, a curious scene: A merchant, dressed in a long blue toga, dressed in a sand-colored hemp garment, who jabbered incensed things with a passion and a way of using words so ardent that it was hard to look away from him. He waved his hands as he spoke, the tips of his fingers however all adorned with rings of gold and precious stones, which hardly went with his torn and dirty poor man's clothes. He showed vials, trinkets which had no name or place of existence, which he managed to name and find a use for. A charlatan. Yvain was also almost sure of having already seen this dark-skinned man, from the lands of Al-Benisaga, no doubt, given the accent and the dialect, in a slave market where he offered 'fresh and young people' for work, when they were already over forty, but also, he was sure, of having seen him steal something, with his hooded figure, from a nearby merchant's stall. "This piece of string, my friends! He exclaimed. It is not a common piece of string, you see? In my distant country, this string was braided into the coarse hair of a lock of hair of mermaid. Having it with you allows you to illuminate your path at night, because it will start to shine brightly when you approach a water source!" This kind of nonsense... Sometimes he even handed people questionable vials which he made to taste to the curious, who immediately regretted having put this sickening substance on the tip of their tongue. "This, ladies and gentlemen, will bring vigor and endurance to wounded men returning from battle. Our famous warriors who fight for us, days and nights, and return home with a missing limb, lost in an epic battle to save a child. I have here an extract of hydra saliva! These gigantic creatures with snake heads, which grow back as quickly as they were cut! Well, ladies and gentlemen, here I was able to obtain the saliva of one of these creatures, and I myself have a one-legged friend...well...I had! Having tested the product on him, I can attest to its effectiveness! He was able to return home to his woman, running, and kick her in the arse for having caught her in bed with another man!” He chuckled a singling laugh that struck Yvain, who was sure that after killing that Hydra the other day, he had seen her saliva almost burn his skin and clothes like acid during their fight...

But after all, there was very little chance that this charlatan really had hydra saliva. Where could he have gotten it? He really didn't seem like the type to fight, more like to run away at the first opportunity... What a mysterious bohnom... But Yvain was quickly brought back to earth after hearing a voice calling him behind him. "Paladin! Sir Paladin!" Yvain frowned a bit as he turned to look behind him, from the back of his tall horse. It was that man, running after him, who himself, was followed by a young cow, carrying so many things... Yvain remained on his guard and his position, waiting for the man to approach him. “Afzal the Jackal, to serve you.” He bowed next to the horse, in a pretty sloppily way...visible the man had no education in a high court. “Yvain, Paladin of Light.” -I know! I know! I saw you at the market before! I have a mission for you! -I'm not a mercenary. -You see, I would need protection - the guard chases after me, stating that this poor man would have died, his stomach and all his insides burned by my potion... It's ridiculous! -My services are not for sale. Yvain moved his horse forward. He wasn't there to help the scum...this man had just killed someone after all... But the man was insistent and followed him, trotting behind him. -I need to leave quickly, you see... -You have a mount. Use it. -She’s loaded like a load! -So get rid of the unnecessary excess. -Those are valuable! -A broom? -It’s a flying broom! -Then use it to fly away. Afzal sighed a laugh. "It's stupid, I can't, I'm not a witch..." Seeing the paladin completely closed, hermetic to his speech, Afzal continued to follow him limply behind him while saying :  “At least let me accompany you…….” After all...he would come to help him if the guard ever caught him...right?

Commentary :  

Love this piece. And the story. I guess it's the first encounter between Afzal and Yvain? I enjoy putting more and more easter eggs in my drawings and lore now jgdfh I captured well Yvain's holiness compared to...yk.... XD Poor Afzal. He doesn't even know what he's doing.

Look what I found !

Story :   After this altercation, Shona needed to get some fresh air; she headed towards the countryside, passing a large arch which adorned the town and marked the separation between hard, cold concrete, and the return to nature, with plains covered with flowers of all colors. Treeless fields, sometimes with them, but Shona decided to go in a direction where nothing would stop her on her way, if she fell into a storm of thought, and she would have difficulty getting out of it... except if she were to hit a tree in the face. She remained silent, inhaling the scent of the flowers that she could smell further away. The smell came from a field of bright red roses, dressed in long thorns that they had learned to use to defend themselves from any predator... But this was not without expectation of Carter, who seeing his friend leaving, followed her discreetly, noticing her eyes heading towards the field of roses without setting foot there ; Carter decided to go there himself. Maybe a few flowers would please her? Far from the fear of being pricked by a hundred thousand thorns, he knew that Shona loved flowers, so he wanted to give them to her. Not without courage to go there and walk on the thorns, one by one. He felt the pain, but he figured that the psychological pain his friend felt was more than enough, so he could allow himself to suffer a little in return. Shortly afterwards, as Shona was preparing to return to town to join the group, she saw a figure hopping in the grass, up to her. A silhouette that scattered rose petals on its path, with a big smile on its lips, full of thorns. -Look at what I found ! Carter screamed, a handful of roses in his mouth. They are for you. Shona blushed and looked down, before seeing some thorns in his crimson fur. -Oh, Carter, you shouldn't have...did you get hurt? -No, Shona. I felt nothing, only the breath of the wind which carried your sweet scent and motivated me to continue finding the most beautiful specimens of this magnificent field. He placed the roses at her paws, scattered with small red spots of blood on his lips, which really didn't seem to bother him, before adding: -Happy Valentine's day.

Commentary :   So that was this years Valentine's day couple :D I should make more decision like that for drawings, it's really nice for events to let u chose some of my OCs :3

Hide N Seek

Story :   They had started their delivery at dawn. A little rabbit, who had gone to work in town, and who could not take the risk of taking his family with him, however numerous they were. He knew the city had become dangerous. It had pained him from the bottom of his little heart, but it had to be done. And every week, he passed to Lamine and Alex, his money, earned during his 5 days, as well as an adorable letter, expressing how much he thought of his peers with a lot of affection and sadness at the same time. The raccoon and the african pouch rat had the mission, each week to bring back to Mr.Rabbit's family his package, which they brought without dragging on the country road, far away from the city. In general, they didn't hang around...just to get some sustenance or stop at a water well or river to cool off when it was hot and the wind wasn't blowing much. They had already come a long way, when the heat of the day and fatigue began to translate into pain in the bottom of their little feet. “I think we should stop,” Lamine said, sighing. Do you see that grove up there? It would be perfect for relaxing in the shade. -First! Much younger and energetic, despite his strong tuft of hair which kept him much warmer than his shorter-haired partner, Alex ran towards the tree... which did not further encourage the old rat, who dragged his pace ...the grove was at the top of a hill, after all... But as he was ahead, the young raccoon, looking at him from his high hill, laughed softly. -How slow he can be! He looked at the tree, then at the bush, imagining a little joke to play on his colleague: he quickly placed his hat on the ground, and ran his clawed hands through his hair, from which he pulled out a few tufts, without hurting himself and without forcing too much on your skin. From there, he placed them on the ground, and hid in the bush, before crouching, silent among its leaves. When Lamine arrived at the top, he was horrified to see tufts of his best friend's hair, and his hat that he always took with him everywhere. He called his name several times, sniffing the air, had there been a predator he had failed to sense? Alex, laughing silently, placed himself behind the tree, holding onto its bark so as not to fall, he was laughing so much from the inside. It was even funnier to watch from up there!  

Commentary :   You guys also voted for the tree to be published so here it is. Decided to add a lil story to it, and characters of course. When skimming the characters you wanted to see more, I saw Shorui...who is waaay too big to fit on the picture. He's nearly the size of the tree !  Then Yama, Aeriielyl, Virgil and Linya...not quite their settings. So I decided to take Lamin from the list, and since he's never going anywhere without his partner...there you have them :)

She said yes

Story :   The surprise was well planned. Søt was very patient, but that didn't stop him from being overexcited. He had prepared his most wonderful plant-based meal for his beautiful ladylove. Vegan (in this world, meat comes from human beings) and very respectful and concerned about the living beings around him, he prepared everything with care and love. Kjeare didn't suspect anything. She had prepared her gifts for Søt with great attention as well, hiding her ideas throughout the year, which might please her boyfriend. After enjoying their meal together, and washing the dishes for his girlfriend, Søt made her a coffee and ordered her to go rest on the couch while he finished. She couldn't wait to open her presents, and so did he, but when he returned and sat down next to her, in front of their window where it was visible that the landscape was covered in a snowy white sheet, under the lights from their plastic tree, decorated by them, Søt took Kjeare's hand. -We have been together for 5 years, said Søt, 5 wonderful years that I will never tire of remembering. He smiled at her, which earned a small laugh from Kjeare. -And despite the world we live in, with all these environmental problems...it's hard sometimes to find a smile or to be happy. But I'm only happy by your side. He reached into the back pocket of his pants and pulled out a small red box. -So I would like to end my life by your side. Would you marry me? Kjeare's heart began to beat so fast that she thought she would faint, before she said: -Of course I want it ! The two kissed, before the Border Collie put the ring on his beautiful amber-haired girlfriend. She couldn't believe her eyes or her ears. She who was only a dancer in a cabaret where she met Søt. She never imagined she would find herself here today. Søt placed the box on the sofa and gently caressed the hand of his fiancée, who began to sob as she was overflowing with happiness. She said yes.

Commentary :  

Here is your Christmas drawing with a small surprise ;'D Søt was my first official original character, when I was younger. He spent his life in school with me, where I was drawing him on every pages of every book. I was imagining what life he could have, where he would work, what he would love.  The more I drew him, the more I thought maybe he deserved company, and so he got friends, ennemies, but especially...a love.  Kjeare was one of the last one from that world that I created and boy I'm glad I created her.  I hoped for Søt to grow up incredible journeys, getting married, getting children, living the perfect life. The most stable and happy character I could ever have.   And so let's say for Christmas he finally decided to take Kjeare's hand. :3   I'm really happy for them, look at them ;-;

The Warrior

My mum loves horses and she loves to put my horse paintings on the walls :3 But she was disappointed I never painted her fav horse breed, I call : the Lipizzan ! I must say I'm impressed myself with this one :O I'm really happy how it looks like !   To those who's gonna ask why I put traditional painting + digital painting in the tags, it's because I used Rebelle 5 here, it's a PC app, but it reproduces traditional painting with canvas and brushes :3
