this is me. forcing myself to write something. I am going to get a good grade in writing something, which is both normal to want and possible to achieve. I had my favorite drink yesterday, an iced london fog with lavender. this morning my cat and i stood together in the rainswept grass and breathed in the petrichor and and listened to the merry chorus of birds and insects. i identified a meadowlark and an eastern towhee. we are friends. i am her mother. she came to me for shelter, months ago, and she comes to me again and again and again. i love my peregrine child. i call her pippin. okay, that’s enough writing - my claws are cramping from holding this quill. until next time.

i think we should remind musicians they can absolutely make up little stories for their songs btw. it doesn’t have to be about them at all. you can invent a guy and put him in situations to music. time honoured tradition in fact.
