Hey I heard you like Vergil as a dad headcanons so I'd like to share one with you: The one that left Nero as a baby wasn't actually his mom, it was Vergil. His mother was killed by demons that night and Vergil couldn't save her, so lamenting over his weakness he realized he wasn't ready to take care of his son, and left him at an orphanage to keep him safe. Vergil planned on going back for him when the time is right, but he eventually didn't, as he then died by Mundus's hand. Sorry. 😭😭😭

Mod Abby and Kit Headcanons
Hello, Kit here. It’s recently occurred to us that y’all don’t know much about us. So have this.
Mod Kit
Kit has been in the group for the shortest time being around a few months now.
She’s also the shyest of the bunch.
Dante loves teasing her about it. She glares at him every time.
Kit and Lady get along marvelously
She get’s along with Vergil as well, maybe more than Lady
Both like her quiet and ‘thinks before acts’ nature.
Vergil because of, like stated, how quiet and calm she is. He also enjoys having someone who is more intelligent to talk with.
Lady likes her because, while shy, she doesn’t let the boys get to her and gets on them when they start acting like idiots.
Nero is protective of her, seeing her, as well as Abby, as a younger sister
Trish is indifferent about her but finds her cute.
She is by far the biggest worrier out of the bunch
Dante may be a literal dad to the younger three of the group, but Kit is mom friend to all.
The embodiment of “Do no harm, but take no shit”
Surprised everyone first time she lost it on someone
She’s pansexual (gender does not play a role in her attraction. Will fight anyone who tries to say her sexuality doesn’t exist.)
More likely to go Grimdark

Abby introduced her but left her to answer their other questions.
This was where Dante’s teasing began.
It’s also where they realized that she is a shy little shit that needs protection
She was far different than Abby
They balance each other out
Nix keeps Abby from killing someone
Abby helps Kit speak up
No one had to worry about getting these two food as they like the same things
Dante: Hey Kit, want a kit-kat?
They make a terrifying team when they work together. Kit’s strategic thinking combined with Abby’s fightiness is something you don’t want to be on the receiving end of
Someone bothering Abby is what made Nix lose it
Vergil blames Dante for their pervertedness. He is far from the reason.
Dante loves his LGBTQ+ children
Dante: Go, Be gay my children!
Protective as hell over the Sparda’s as they are of them
Nero: YOU WANNA GO!!
They watch vines and such with Nero
The first time they saw these two fight together, everyone was shocked and scared to some extent.
Both are the biggest fans of Homestuck
Both have extreme imaginations

DMC X HOMESTUCK HEADCANONS
- Striders and Sparda’s are lost relatives of each other. One of Sparda’s ex-mates married one of the ancestors of the Striders. After having two children of her own on the way from Sparda.
- Those two where Dave and Dirks ancestors.
- those unknown sons of Sparda are why Dave and Dirk can teleport.
- Nero is in contact with Dave via Pesterchum.
- What nerds
- They both have no clue they are related
- Dave taught Nero how to ride a skateboard.
- Dave constantly pokes fun at Nero’s moods.
- They have other ways of contacting each other and frequently video chat.
- Dave showed Nero his unnaturally red eyes, Nero has shown Dave his arm.
- Nero will download and listen to Dave’s beats a lot.
- Nero has given his own hand at making Sick beats. Dave says he needs a lot of practice.
- Bro and Dante have met before. probably over beer
- Bro has told Dante about Dave but will constantly refer to him as ‘the Kid’ or ‘My Lil bro.’
- Dante has gotten a pair of triangle shades from Bro before. he’ll wear them when he wants to look ‘Cool’.
- Hard to do that when your motherfucking Dante tho
- Dante now has a rule in the shop against to much Puppet ass.
- Bro may be gay fro Dante’s fine ass.

Why Nero is asexual
Bear with me here. I deserve to have my theories. If you’re open to reading this post, then let me tell you, I think it very well holds up in canon.
As a start, look how he acts when he sees the sexy demonic lures:
His reaction to the demons is to notice they’re causing a stinky storm which is probabbly hiding something, and he kills them. That’s it. Not even a fucking comment.
Now compare it with Dante’s scene.
He knew they were in fact lures for a giant evil smelly frog, and yet he joins in the game and acts all flirtatious, actually acknowledging that he’s being faced with two sexy naked ladies.
Another evidence is Nero’s immediate reaction to seeing Gloria. Which I don’t even think needs any comments. Just
He can’t even look directly at her. He’s so uncomfortable help him.
Of course one might argue that all of that is because he’s in love with Kyrie. And I totally agree, he is in love! He’s asexual but not aromantic, and he loves her. But being in love with someone - and considering they weren’t together yet - doesn’t mean shutting down all interest and attraction to other people. Since he doesn’t show that attraction in the slightest, I think it’s cause it’s not there to begin with.
And as a final point, just take a look at the main characters in this series! They all have shown a rather sexual side - specially in DMC4, which is by far the horniest game of this series. There’s Dante with his constant teasing and innuendos, Lady and Trish with their provocative clothes and body language, and even some demons sometimes act like that. But Nero? He seems to be an exception to that rule. In all his sarcasm and attitude, he’s still more about the taunting and mocking the enemy than flirting with it. While he’s the only one to have a love interest, the dynamic of their relationship shows a profound bond, loyalty, protectiveness and warmth. It doesn’t get on the sexual side that was to be expected of that game, considering the other characters.
And, just an interesting detail, notice that Nero is in love with Kyrie, one of the few female characters whose clothes cover her up. She’s a lot more modest/non sexualized when compared to Lady or Trish.
So yeah, there you have it. I think Nero is a Big Ace. And I really hope this headcanon sees the light of the next game.
