Lockdown in England had me stuck for things to do. So, in April I signed up to an online course, which I really loved. I was also gifted some for my birthday.
I can’t use them to apply to somewhere like university if I ever want to go, but I can put them on my CV to show that I’m committed to learning still. I’m hoping this might give me a little bit more of an edge when apply for jobs.
I’ve been taking them on creative writing, and I’ve learnt some helpful things, plus they really helped me set a schedule for the first lockdown.
The last few months, my depression has been pretty bad, and with it, my motivation. But I’ve slowly started getting back into the current course and I’m enjoying it again :)

Bullet journals
My one for the year is already super thick even though it's 9 days into the year. I added colour paper to the start and end of each month for my start of month spread and my monthly wrap up. Even if I don't add much into it in the way of writing, I still plan to make it bright and colourful so hopefully I will have motivation to use it more
If you like what I do, please consider supporting me with a virtual coffee :)

Day 12/100 days of productivity
I’ve done pretty well with keeping up with my bullet journal so far this year, which was something I was a little worried about, I know we’re just over a week into the year, but I was terrible at filling it in at the end of December.
I took some photos for my bookstagram account (that_bookworm_guy) to get me through the next week or so.
I always take them in  bundles.
I also managed to read a bit today which was good

11/100 days of productivity
I'm terrible at updating these
So my last few days have been pretty productive
I deleted all of the books from my to be read shelf on goodreads, because it was a mess. I've had goodreads for year now and I haven't used that shelf in probably around 3 years.
Instead I scanned in every single book from my to be read pile at home. Including only books that I own, not books from my wishlist. I included physicals and ebooks, some ebooks I've gotten for free either via them just being free books on the store, or by getting advance reading copies from authors and publishers.
I now know I have 300+ books on my TBR pile. Which is a bit more than I thought if I'm being honest. But now I know:) I'm hoping to decrease that amount by a fairly decent amount this year
I also rearranged my main bookcase because it was getting messy, which felt really good and rewarding ^^

My brain is very colour ordinated, so I know the colour of things before the title etc. So when I think of a book, the colour and design comes into my mind before anything else. I've used that to my advantage and my main bookcase is colour organised. My other books aren't organised like this, just this shelf

please keep in mind that learning is always a process. learning to draw, dance, play an instrument, but also learning to say no, learning to start conversations, learning to be more comfortable in your own skin. it’s great setting goals for yourself, as long as you allow yourself to get there gradually instead of immediately wanting to be the best at it (and setting unrealistic standards for yourself because of it). change is rarely a single moment during which everything suddenly shifts, but rather a period of time in which you learn and adjust and improve. you’ll get there, but you must give yourself time to do so.

🌻This is your gentle reminder to say that it's okay not to set new years resolutions at all. You don't have to create goals and aims especially if they cause you anxiety or guilt🌻
🌻It's okay to just take the year one day at a time🌻
🌻It's also okay to set yourself new year resolutions that are small. You don't have to learn to drive, have a holiday and have a certain amount in saving by the end of the year. There is no exact path in life and there is no time frame that you have to do things by, no matter what anyone's says 🌻
🌻Don't let anyone guilt you or make you feel bad for your new year resolutions or lack of🌻
🌻Your worth isn't determined by what you achieve in the year🌻

10/100 days of productivity
Happy New year!!
Today I set myself a new reading challenge of reading 50 books this year!! Which is my normal goal. I read 163 books in 2020 because I had a lot of reading time (my book blog and main blog is @that-bookworm-guy , I follow from there as this is a side blog)
Today I filled in the last bits of 2020s bullet journal, read a book and started filling in some of this year's bullet journal
Im hoping 2021 is a better year

9/100 days of productivity
It's been a while, but I've been taking a social media break. I've been popping on every once in a while to clear notifications on some social media sites, but I've not really looked at much or posted. So I'm going to cheat and post what I've done since my last update, which isn't much to be honest.
- I've spent time taking care of myself. I filed and painted my nails which makes me happy tbh. I started painting them back in April when UK lockdown happened. I managed to stop biting my nails which is something I've done ever since I was a toddler (I'm 24 now)
- I've taken care of my skin more than I have been recently
- I've kind of tried to get a sleep pattern going
- I've remembered to take my meds every day:)
- I realised my mental health was getting bad again, so I took a step back from social media for a bit. January is a rough month for me with my mental health so we'll see how that goes as I'm aware I can really struggle during that month
- I haven't done much of my bullet journal, but I hope to fill in the last month or so
- I beat my reading challenge of 50 books back in April, I hit 150 books this month, which was my next goal, and I passed that and I'm now at 163 books
- I bought myself some new boots. I don't often buy myself new clothing or anything, but I wanted some plain black boots for ages, so I finally bought some. They will be great for winter which is a plus
I feel like I haven't done much, especially considering how long it's been, but I have to remind myself that my mental health is bad, so doing anything is a plus. I'm hoping I can pull myself out of this depressive episode soon, but it may just be a case of waiting it out. I'll see how it goes

7/12/2020 | 83/90 Days of Productivity | Winter Studying Challenge
7th: How do you stay motivated during winter?
It is really hard but I don’t have a strategy per se, I just sort of do it. I can’t really afford to not be motivated now I’m in my final year of uni. Maybe the fact that the end is in sight helps here. I just force myself to do the work (within reason of course).
