Justice League identity reveal where they don’t know who Batman is and one day a bunch of them walk in on him just casually eating yogurt in the cafeteria with his cowl off. A bunch of them recognize him, a couple don’t, and they’re all shocked.
Turns out Batman didn’t realize none of them knew who he was, since it had taken him all of ten minutes and three google searches to put everyone’s secret identities together and he just assumed they had all figured it out by this point. Or maybe he had meant to tell them and then just forgotten. Either way, he regularly interacts with half of them outside of hero stuff and hasn’t bothered with the whole separate persona thing with them in years. Shouldn’t they really have figured this out by now? So what if he forgot? This is clearly on them.

I’d like to add, I believe this is just a few months after Thalia is brought back, which either means 7yo Annabeth was spouting facts about the Hover Dam or this was one of the first things she told Thalia when she came back.
Also they all cared enough to remember❤️
Tumblr media
Annabeth cannonly told monument facts to all her friends can we include this in the fandom please
Annabeth gets caught off her guard by something someone says and just spouts
“construction on the gateway arch was completed on the 28th of October 1965”
She never lives it down

My new favorite Merlin AU is that Merlin finally confesses to Arthur about his magic, but Merlin is too flustered to think straight and there’s some miscommunication.
What Merlin says: I have magic 😔
What Merlin thinks he said: I am a powerful sorcerer and I use my magic every day to protect you and all of Camelot. We are two sides of the same coin, our destinies forever intertwined. Spare me and I will help you become the once and future king.
What Arthur hears: I know a few cantrips. Please don’t kill me.
So Arthur eventually comes to terms with Merlin knowing some magic and things kinda go back to normal except Merlin starts using minor spells in front of Arthur to speed up chores.
But then while Arthur is working to legalize magic (because of course he would) and make reparations to magic users, he asks Merlin to accompany him to a meeting with the Druids. Arthur asks the Druids to nominate a court sorcerer and they just look at him confused like
Druids: why not ask the great sorcerer Emrys?
Arthur: ok where do I find him?
Druids: points to Merlin sitting 1 foot away
Arthur: why did you hide this vital information from me!?
Merlin: … I did tell you, didn’t I? Whoops
Bonus
Arthur: Gwen! Knights! Merlin is the most powerful sorcerer to ever live! Can you believe it?
Everyone … yeah. We saw him shooting Lightning while riding a dragon just last week.
Arthur:🫨…😐

So while I love to imagine percabeth’s bio kids and what qualities they’d inherit from their parents and grandparents, I also really love the idea of Percy and Annabeth adopting other halfbloods in need.
A trans daughter of Hermes, kicked out as a teen by her parent and using stolen identities and pit pocketing to get by, also a world class hacker: they give her a safe place to stay, asks if she wants to stay for dinner, then asks if she wants to stay forever.
A 5yo physically disabled son of Hephaestus, who’s parent didn’t want to put in the work. He bounces around foster homes until Annabeth and Percy welcome him to their home. Annabeth and Tyson build him mobility aids fit for the gods. Annabeth redesigns their home so everything is accessible. He loves to tinker with his aids and when he gets older, starts adding robotic attachments, mostly for fun.
A baby daughter of Ares, who’s cries drove her parent to near madness, abandoned at a fire station. Only powerful demigods, familiar with Ares wrath, have the will power to stay calm and soothe the baby. Percy is wrapped around her little finger. When she’s older, she loves playing any game of strategy and almost always wins. Very competitive. Flips the board whether she wins or loses.
I like to imaging they have a family battle bots teams. She writes the code, he builds the bot, and then they hand over the controls to their little sister to crush the competition. Percy and Annabeth are at every match, cheering with signs and foam fingers.

I can’t stop thinking about how 12 yo Annabeth has been leading her half of camp in capture the flag, presumably unopposed, probably for years. What teenager would ever take orders from a little girl who doesn’t even practice sword fighting. And my best reasoning is Luke.
The first time they played after arriving at camp, the senior team leader was explaining the plan and Annabeth shyly raises her hand to point out the ( obvious to her) flaws, but no one pays attention to the little new girl…except Luke notices. They lose.
The next time they play, team leader in assigning jobs and Annabeth is in the back rolling her eyes and mumbling her decent. Only then Luke speaks up. He’s still new but he’s older and charming and good with a sword, so campers are willing to hear him out. But then he makes them listen to the 8 yo. Still no one takes her seriously, not until they lose exactly as she predicted.
Now some campers start to consider her strategic talents. Luke starts campaigning for his little sister, first in the Hermes cabin, but soon with all of camp. Campers want to be on Luke’s team, follow him into battle, and Luke makes it very clear here on on Annabeth’s team. Together they never lose a game.
Luke loves his adopted little sister and it breaks my heart that it won’t be enough.

What’s a harmless “fact” someone told you that you simply accepted and never verified?
I’ll go first. As a kid, a camp councilor told us that during an awkward silence, 3% of people think about Abraham Lincoln.
Admittedly I have never met anyone who admitted to thinking that, but I’ve only asked like 30 people, so it’s still statistically plausible. By sharing this, I hope to do my part to increase this statistic.

I was always told to look people in the eye but I can only follow what someone is saying while looking at their mouth. Sometimes I have to focus on something else so my brain can listen. So I’m curious. Let me know if their a reason for your answer I guess

Some Legends of Tomorrow headcannons to help me cope (mostly avalance and baby):
Ava take Sara’s last name since her parents are actors and Sara makes her feel whole
Quinten immediately adopts Ava into the family. He loves that his daughter found someone so responsible and loving that can ground her (keep her from doubt anything too dangerous (yeah right)).
Sara and Ava name their daughter Laurel Ava Lance
They called her Cribby ( because of the criblix?? DNA that made her possible) as a placeholder before she was born but the nickname struck.
Side Arrow hc, Quintin Lance and Donna Smoke got back together
Making baby Avalance basically cousins with William and Mia. All the next Gen hero’s see each other like distant cousins.
Current and retired legends all care for each other’s kids/grandkids when they’re not screwing up the timeline for the better

They have to renew Legends of Tomorrow because I just got a fully three-dimensional asexual character and I'm not ready for her to be taken away yet.

So in Daydreams and Nightmares, Aang dreams that he forgot about his math test, and it’s probably just meant to be a stupid joke kids relate to, but I choose to believe it’s a real fear for him based on his life. What is the free loving air nomads has a “standard” education system with math and reading and regular tests? Would they learn the science behind flying?
To take it a step farther, everyone in the avatar universe can read and write (except toph), which would imply that all nations have some kind of public education. Southern watertribe with like 15 people and no contact with the outside world, no problem reading. Earth kingdom poor farm boy, reads.
I imagine the poorer or more isolated villages, probably the elderly would use the few old box they have to teach, have kids practice writing in the sand/snow.
The fire nation clearly have a very structured schooling system, with some elite schools. I bet the inner circle of ba sing se (?) also has fancy schools and universities, but focus more on prose and philosophy than history.
Just the clear importance of education. Thoughts?
