Three totally different cars, yet they are one family. All unique in there own way just with two things in common: The GTR batch and the beasty Godzilla blood. Rides like a monster looks like a beast!

S2K! A Honda like no other!

My girlfriend broke up with me four days ago and instead of beeing on skis in Austria I decided to go and visit my parents in Dubai. Driving around in my Dads’ Toyota Fortuner seeing all the Cars flowing past me just makes me feel better but just berfore getting back home I got passed by a Turbocharged Mitsubishi Lancer. Brrrrrr Fututututu!! That just made my day. I forgot everything around me. I just sailed along with this guy for hours until he pulled over and told that he had to go home. I thanked him for the beautiful evening and he thanked me for beeing his ride along. Just then I realized it was 2:30 am. I fueled up my dads car and went home.

Merry Christms fellow car guys and my the holy Car-gods be with you. May you have a blessed day where ever you might be and who you’d might be with. And if it’s just you and your car: Enjoy your alone time if you know what I mean! And remember: Happiness isn’t around the corner. It is in the corner!

And because everybody somehow gets to wish themselves something on Christmas I give you two of my favourite (not the only ones) German cars that are on my wishlist: Audi RS6 and the Porsche 911

Sorry I didn't post anything the last days... Had a lot to do. Having that said lets DO IT! That Stance Yo! Though I would never do it to my daily, stanced cars look awsome.Stancing your car has quite a few downsides like cruising through the streets with some others isn't that awsome, i would guess. Every small bump turns into a huge obstacle and you scratch on everything higher of the ground than my little finger. Other, normal pesants will just think what a child you are and won't apreciate you going over a speedbump with first having to install wooden planks as a ramp. On the other hand fellow car guys will (most of the time) value your work. And everybody who understands a bit behind how you achieve camber for example will just ask themselves how in Gods name you got your wheels so damn tilted. If I had the money I'd buy myself a  2005 VW Fox and stance the sh*t out of it. Why a VW Fox? Because right now I'm driving one and I hate it. My Dad bought it, now that my sister and me are living back in Germany, as a Family car so they don't have to rent a car everytime they come for a visit. That explained now to why this car and why stance it? 1. It handles & drives like a baby buggy already so stancing it won't change the way it's feeling. 2. It is almost as ugly as the Fiat Multipla. At least we have the "STYLE" edition which ads a rear spoiler. 3. I am the type of guy who tunes to enhance performance so stancing something awesome would just be against my inner voices (I'm not Crazy!!) Only with this car my inner voices are just screaming to do mods that would at least make it look awesome.

An old VW Caddy with a (what else would you put in there?!) 2JZ engine. Engine swaps can eighter ruin a car (for example swapping a Rx-7 engine for basically anything else then another Wankel/Rotary) or it can make it awsome.

Another example of making a car awesome is Mad Mike’s 26B Wankel/Rotary engine powered MX5.

I thought long about how to start this blog today… I couldn’t figure out a way to make a proper intro so I’ll just go flat out. I wanted to talk about offroading. Offroading meant not only like in Rally Dakar, but also in the like in the WRC or just you and a few friends beeing out for a ride.

Smashing an offroad course or just hitting the dunes is totally at the top of what you can do with your car… Together with working on it, perfectly hitting an apex, drifting, doing a burnout, cruising, road tripping (is that an existing word?), racing and all the other stuff you can do.

No seriously! If you have an offroad capable car which you don’t care about much,(basically a missle car) go out there in the forrest, desert or what ever you might have and stomp on the pedal, It is f*cking exhilarating! I mean I lived in a bloody desert for nine years and although I was just 11 years old back then my dad let me drive our old Nissan Patrol 4.5l V8 through the dunes. It was glorious! Hang tight. Maybe I can find a picture of myself back then :D

Germany's car-culture:

I’ve been living in Germany for 7 month now and it made me realize a few things:

1. Buying the car is the cheapest part of owning one.

-->Seriously, the prices for insurance, tax and gasoline is to damn high

2. Modifying your car is awesome trying to register your mods are a pain in the a**.

-->In Germany we have this Organization/Company (IDGAF) called "Tüv". Their task basically is to keep cars that are not roadworthy of the road. Not a bad thing at all until you come along with your perfectionized car and want it to be streetlegal.

Well sh*t.

First you got to pay 250€(+/-) for the guy to check your mod(s). Then; you cannot add two mods to your registration that handle the same thing in one go. That means if you want to have a new wheel and suspension setup, you’ll have to come twice. I didn’t study more about the topic because if you ask 10 people about what they actually do, you will end up with 10 different answers.

For all of you reading this and actually giving a sh*t: I will try to show my way through modifying my car as soon as it’s in my possession.

I spent the last 9 years of my life in Dubai. Like most people when you think of Dubai, you think of tall buildings, rich people and off course CARS! But mostly Ferraris, Lamborghinis and all other kinds of supercars. But thats the sad thing… Seeing a clean built Supra, RX-7 or even “just” an STI is just near to impossible there. That’s why I love beeing  back in Germany. A tuned, slammed, etc. E30 is just an awesome sight to have! Don’t you think?(I know that pic. is not taken in Germany but you get my point) Also seeing a Audi RS6 or RS7! I never saw one in Dubai, not once. On the other hand in Germany: every time I drive into Stuttgart.

BUT there are also bad things beeing a part of Germanys’ car-culture. (Coming tomorrow) 

I am damn excited! The Porsche 918 and the BMW i8 are definetly two very astoishing cars. They not only look perfect but they both represent a new era of cars emerging. They handle amazing, accelerate to decent top speed in a sometimes mind-boggling amount of time and are able to get good milage with all their power considered. I’m not only talking about these two cars. I’m talking about hybrids and electric drive cars in general. Tesla Model S is another example. Many People think of a Prius if one talks about a hybrid, but all I can think of are these beauties! Imagine the possibilities for us car ethusiasts. Imagine the possibilities for the ones among us that tune cars! Off course it’s going to be hard adapting to the new hardware & software. But we will not back down. We will strive in these new cars and reach new levels of our passion we could not have thought of.

At the Moment I am planning on buying myself a Mazda Miata NA. Not only as a car, but as my passion, as my companion for every day.

Talking to my family and Girlfriend about my plans, I thought they’d like the Idea of me not only sitting on my bed looking at CarThrottle all day. But the only thing I encountered was the lack of coprehension for my thoughts. My Dad beeing a scrimper, not putting money into anything unnecessary, is the hardest to talk to. He even went so far in blocking our garage by putting his trailer inside it.

One not beeing into cars like we are can never understand why we don’t care having no money to buy expensive clothes, why we’d rather live in a tent than in a big house just to be able to drive our beloved Elenor or NSX. Nobody seems to understand what drives us car enthusiasts. What keeps us going.

Be it a Ford Mustang or a Nissan Silvia I love them both! I am to be honest more of a JDM fan, but in the end I’d just love to own a savage American Muscle.
