So, it’s my mother’s birthday, and in a normal family that’s a good thing, but for MY mother’s birthday she wanted to go to the emergency room for the pain she swears she’s experiencing, which is a whole thing.

But anyway, she waits around for two and a half hours and doesn’t see a doctor, so she gets angry and comes home, and all going to the doctor did was rattle up the angry hornet’s nest of bullshit in her head. (Before she went, she was already talking about people having hidden cameras in the house because Dad found some emails of the guys she was sexting.)

So she gets back, they’ve done nothing for her, and she says she’s going to die and everything is the neighbors’ fault, somehow. She says they’re doing “this” and drops the n-word with -er to describe one of them. Sometimes I feel like this woman is playing Horrible Person Bingo and trying to black out the board. Like, not only does she have to be an alcoholic drug addict who tried to kill her husband, but she’s ALSO racist.

Anyway, here’s a picture of Dad’s dog. He’s stressed. Both the dad and the dog. I can’t feel anything anymore.

is your AU made to have Cyrus and Emmet to bang each other eventually or become friends and the "oh so emotionless" Cyrus getting a soft spot for the funny train guy in white? (hope its okay to be a little blunt. Not very good with cusioning up things sorry if it upset you feel free to delete and not answer)

Also will Emmet eventually reunite with his brother?

Gotta admit the multiverse aspect is interesting curious to see more in the future. It's also difficult to execute so good luck with that!

Latter. I see a lot of headcanons for Emmet and Ingo being AroAce, and I like that. Cyrus also seems Aro. I also subscribe to the idea that one must love themselves before being able to love others. Or love anything at all.

As for whether Emmet will eventually reunite with his Ingo… Probably not. He’s resigned himself to a fate of remaining in the Distortion World to guide lost travelers back to their original stations. That, and even if he went looking, he genuinely has no idea where he’s come from. Cyrus doesn’t, either—he knows a vague direction, maybe.

Besides… Emmet has watched the fate of too many Ingo counterparts unfold. He’s watched his own brother die. He’s also watched him grow old and unrecognizable. He’s watched him start his own family. He’s watched him live life with his own Emmet. The more he sees, the more distant he feels from his past and his brother.

Anyway I had this idea that was kind of based off of this AU I saw where Emmet was in the Distortion World because he tried to follow Ingo into Hisui and I kind of made an AU for him called Multiverse Emmet where he got lost in the Distortion World and ultimately decided to remain there to ensure no one else got lost and could return to their correct universe.

There are holes everywhere to fall into the wrong dimension and through them he can see infinite timelines. He sees many Ingo counterparts in Hisui. Some of them grow old there, some start a family, some meet more tragic ends. He cannot remember which one he was supposed to be following.

The only reason he hasn’t gone insane is because there is also a Cyrus in there who refers to Giratina as “Lord Giratina” and appears apathetic about Emmet’s presence but actually enjoys the company and something besides eternal silence. As close as he can get to “enjoying” anything, anyway, because he was awful with emotions before and struggles with feeling nothing now.

Cyrus also has his Crobat/Honchkrow, and Emmet has his Eelektross, though Eelektross is more twitchy than it used to be.

I’m venting in this post, so I’m going to put a readmore in. There’s also not really a point. I was trying to find one, but I just need to scream into the internet void. Please check tags for tw.

So my mother starts drinking when I’m like, 12 years old. She’s stealing my Dad’s prescription pain meds (he was in the army) on top of it. So I’m in middle school when I get called out of class because she tried to kill herself.

She spends the next years after that screaming at my Dad, yelling at him, hitting him. In 2021 she actually choked him and raised a pen above her head to stab him. She broke two of his ribs and one of his teeth fell out from the cardboard she was trying to shove down his throat.

Anyway, I’m saying all of this because for the past ten years she’s bullied and belittled my father and controlled our household. We’re not allowed to go out for too long, and anywhere but the grocery store or somewhere to get something for her. We’re not allowed to have friends. And despite all of this, she insists that it’s not her fault because she has trauma.

I’m just so tired. I’m tired of feeling like I can’t be a human being because I have to worry about her meltdowns. I’m tired of listening to my father vent and vent. I’m tired of her apologizing but never doing anything to rectify her behavior and the pain she causes. I’m tired of being on the verge of tears but unable to cry.
