I got a new job today. Somehow. I interviewed at a country club and they said to come back the next day. They wanted me to creat and prepare a recipe with provided ingredients in the time allowed. So as I'm playing "chopped" I make some sliders. They're praised but I looked at the dish and felt embarrassed. So I asked if I could make another dish and they said sure (with some excitement on the head chefs face) and I made this as my official application. Seared and spiced salmon sliced on fresh bamboo rice with a teryaki and sweet soy sauce reduction. The chef tasted it and shook my hand and said "you're hired". Not even exaggerating. My heart raced and I accepted. Okay! So I'm new to the whole #weed world and I started off with thc cartridges. I ran out and was in desperate need so a good friend offered me some for free. I accepted not knowing it was leaf/bud. I came to this place after my breakup. It hurt a lot. But. Somehow not as bad as I thought it would have. I had loved someone very deeply and very truly. He had felt the same. I think. For a moment or 2 at least. Either way. We both moved forward. He had an easier time. It's not a contest. But I respect it. I had a harder time. It took longer. But I made it through it faster than I thought I would or could. He still holds a special place in my heart. And maybe he always will. But. I'm growing up later than I should've. I climbed through a broken window and cut my arm on the shattered glass. I fell when I lost my grip and stayed down for only a moment. I picked myself up and saw this hallway. In my imagination.
