Wash Day
Koshi Sugawara x Black reader

(a/n: hey lovelys this is my first tumblr oneshot so if you enjoy i’ll give u a virtual cookie <3)
“Okay...you promise you won’t make fun of me right,” you hide behind the closed door twiddling with your fingers.
“I already told you I wouldn’t love, I don’t see a point in putting you down especially over hair. You know I’ll love you regardless.”
With the newly gained confidence, you make your way out the door and look over at the boy leaning on the wall.
“See I’m not making fun of you,” Suga smirks and walks over to you. He tilts your chin so you’re looking in his eyes “you’re beautiful,” he lifts your afro and places a kiss on your forehead “no matter what hairstyle you have.”
A smile seeps onto your face, “I have to wash it now I guess, so you can leave it’s going to take the rest of the day.”
He tilts your chin to the side and takes a close look, “what- what is it do I have a zit” you start touching the side he’s looking at.
Suga’s laughter fills the room “no, I was just going to ask if I could help you, you have a lot of hair and I think four hands make better than two. That’s only if you’re comfortable though, I don’t want to cross a line.” You can start to see the panic starting to appear on his face.
You laugh, “you’re adorable, of course, I could use all the help I could get, honestly.”
You pull him to the bathroom and grab all of your hair care routine. His eyes widen “so all of that.. goes in your hair.”
You look over at him with a raised eyebrow and laugh, “I said all-day, there was no lying in that sentence, you can still go home if you want.”
“No no, I said I was going to help now- um- hand me the shampoo and let’s go to the sink, yeah okay.”
After washing your hair it was time to start sectioning it, his face was so concentrated and without surprise, Suga was extremely gentle. It made you wonder if he was actually doing anything but he was actually doing more, you could definitely see the product on his parts.
“Hey babe,” you turn down the music knocking him out of focus, “thanks this definitely would be taking longer without you.”
He grins widely, “of course, totally I’m having fun. I got to play with your hair and I get cuddles afterward, this is definitely a win-win.”
After hours of dancing, singing, detangling, rinsing, sitting, and twisting you guys were finally finished. Neither of you had any energy to make food so Suga ordered some Chipotle while you cuddled into each other and settled on a movie to watch.
