In our AU, Jason spent some time with Bruce in Nanda Parbat recovering from being ressurected, and he got to meet Damian when he was really small (once he was in control of himself enough to be gentle with the baby)
He flees and goes on to become Red Hood, a lot happens, but some years later when Bruce is ready to bring Damian to Gotham, Damian recognizes Jason and cathey have a better bond. Even if Jason does think Damian is a brat at times or Bruce’s golden-child. He’s a safe figure for Damian, even if Damian doesn’t act like it…that’s his big brother.

Is Bat Alfred manning the nest? He’s either be itty bitty or massive and can actually tuck them all under his wings
Alfred is a human, but he still makes sure to cuddle all of Bruce’s babies when they want affection!! (very gently, of course.)
He probably keeps Damian in his chest pocket while Bruce is out and about. Dami’s not so good at flying or foraging for his own treats yet, but that’s okay. Grandpa Alfred takes good care of him and feeds him treats, and he gets to be real high up so it’s almost like flying!
