Malleus had just hatched from his egg after 200 years….. you and Lilia were overjoyed and very emotional after he had hatched. For you though it was a little less emotional since you hadn’t met Melenor or Levan. Seeing Lilia break down in tears as he held the little dragon in his arms made you want to cry yourself but you held it in and held him close to you.
He almost immediately pushed his body against yours as you held him and he held little Malleus. He hid his face in your shoulder as he cried and cried for a while now. You held him with one arm while the other went up and down his back occasionally patting his head to comfort the poor fae.
You looked at all the distraction the little thing had caused and was surprised on how calm Lilia was about it. It made you wonder a little if this was normal for him back in the day. Lilia had been acting different with you for a while, almost creepy. You thought he didn’t like you and that he probably wanted you dead but were you oh so very wrong. He didn’t understand why you were scared when you woke up. He found your fear quite useless since you were safe as long as you were obedient towards him. He had put chains on your wrists to keep you there but he would leave little things clearly in your reach to test if you would try to escape. Lilia had told people you were bedridden sick and he was taking care of you. He made sure that they wouldn’t come looking or worry about you.
Once he returned he would greet you like you’ve been married since forever. He would be so pleased to see that you didn’t fall into his trap and that you were loyal to him. “My loyal little doll, how perfect you are.” Is what he would say to you at least once a day. You ever knew why he just did. He owned you now like a doll of some kind. Like an antique you can’t get anywhere else.
He would eventually unlock the chains and allow you to go back to the school as long as you had a little bit of stockholm syndrome. He let you out when he knew you wouldn’t tell anymore about what he did and if you did tell someone….. your in for a ride.
Nobody would believe you. Not a single person. It’s like there was a spell somewhere casting this but Lilia can’t cast that much magic anymore so, what’s going on? Once Lilia found out about your little stunt you wouldn’t be safe from him behind closed doors. He wouldn’t hurt you physically no no he would break you mentally and he was good at that. He would throw you into Diasomnia’s basement and lock you down there. You wouldn’t be given food but there was water down there. He would have you begging to come out and be with him and eat. Begging for warmth and comfort. He would give it to you but if you broke his trust again he would take it away again once more.

Now that I really think about it... When Lilia told Vil and Rook at his farewell party how old he was, why did they react so shocked? I mean, I get it that 700 years compared to a human's lifespan is A LOT. But why did they think he was 18 years old like them?
It makes me wonder how much students at NRC learn (or don't learn) about fae. For fuck's sake, there are even fairies working for the school, and during Vargas Camp, the boys also encountered some.
And I highly doubt Malleus and Lilia are the only fae attending NRC. Shouldn't it be common knowledge that they live much longer than humans? Shouldn't there be textbooks that contain detailed information about them?
All this just suddenly dawned on me after remembering that scene, and questions kept popping up inside my head.

I want to help General Lilia after a stressful day….. General Lilia x reader

You were sitting in your shared room reading a book when Lilia had gotten home after a long week or two. He had been out getting rid of Silver Owls for those two weeks and it was exhausting to him. Humans really were selfish beings.
He almost broke the hinges off the door once he swung it open. Of course this startled you. You watched him as he looked annoyed and took off his armor breathing heavily. Luckily you noticed he didn’t have any major injuries maybe some cuts but that was about it.
You already could tell it didn’t go great so you saved asking the question of ‘how did it go.’ Once he returned from the shower he sat on the bed beside you pulling the covers over himself and laying down with a sigh.
He looked stressed and overworked from what he had been doing. He didn’t bother with greeting you since he was focused on one thing rest. You noticed how tense he was and because he was so tense you knew he wouldn’t sleep well if his body allowed him to do so. So you came up with the good idea of giving him a massage. He didn’t look like he wanted to be bothered though so you just pulled him slightly out from under the covers. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” He said as he glared at you wanting to just rest.
“You’ll see just relax.” You told him as you adjusted yourself so you were sitting behind him and you took his shirt off which confused him even more. “What the fuck are you-“ He stopped for a moment as he felt your hands moving in a motion on his shoulders. He didn’t protest anymore as he realized what you were doing. He wasn’t going to thank you for it most likely but him liking it and leaning into your touch as already him saying a silent thank you.
