Blue eyes flashed in the darkness, and soon you could see the outline of the fatui agent

Seeing your scared expression the ginger pouted

Hesitantly you opened your mouth trying to find a way to respond without angering him and getting yourself into deeper trouble.

Thoughts racing you tried to take in the situation, you were most obviously underground, but how deep? If you screamed would anyone hear you? Or would your efforts be futile?

As if sensing your rush of thoughts, tartaglia bent down to your level, caressing your cheek. You froze attempting not to flinch away from his touch, trying to relax with his clammy hand against your cheek. His eyes were boring into yours, the dull dark blue seemingly endless, it was only then did you notice the harbingers sunken cheeks, cracked lips, and frailness that definitely wasn't always there.

Something was wrong. Horribly wrong.

“Aw sweetheart, am I scaring you perhaps?” his eyes held a silent challenge, daring you to answer him truthfully.
