When are the works being revealed?? I have been waiting so patiently and I am so excited but the time on the page for the reveal has already passed. Please release them soon! I can see the tags and I need to read them!!
The first batch of works has just been posted!
But, as I’ve said in a few posts already, they will be revealed over the course of the day, not all at once. And, unfortunately, the time on the AO3 page changes on me every other time I work on something in the collection, so they’re all set to default times most of the time.

IMPORTANT: changing the publication date of your work
This is important if you’ve posted your work early on in the exchange. Once the admins reveal the works and authors, your work will show up in the Bucky/Tony tag as usual, but it will be backdated to the date you originally added it to the challenge collection. That means if, for example, you’ve posted your work on May 8th, your work will be back on the same page with all the other works that have been posted around that date, even though it will only be revealed on June 4th.
That’s unfortunate because it makes it harder for people to find your work. But worry not; there’s a way around it.
To change the publication date of your work, edit your already posted work, and go to Associations. There, you have to check the Set a different publication date box, which will allow you to change the publication date.

If I’m just finishing up the last chapter of my submission, can I post what I have and post the last chapter as soon as it is done? I’m hurrying as fast as I can but I don’t want to rush too much and do a bad job.
The rule is that a gift should be posted in full by the time the reveal rolls around. So, as long as you have it finished before tomorrow (June 4th), that’s okay.
Please also contact us off anon (ask, message, email), though, so that we know who’s asking for an extension and can mark it down.

Posting Guide
The check-in is over and done with, which means we’re one step closer to posting. If you’re not quite done yet, don’t worry; you still have another 10 days left to tweak and edit your gift.
All works need to be posted to the official AO3 collection by 8 A.M. CEST on June 3rd. Please make sure to check out the countdown, and see what exact time/day that is in your time zone.
How to post:
You have to post your work on AO3, and add it to the official collection so it will show up as an anonymous mystery work until the reveal on June 4th. Here’s how.
Open your draft/create a new work on AO3. Add your story/art, the tags, warnings, and everything else as usual.
Once you’re ready to post, scroll back up to ‘Associations’ where you’ll find the ‘2019 WinterIron Spring Fling (giftee name)’ option under ‘Open Assignments’.
Make sure to check the box next to ‘2019 WinterIron Spring Fling (giftee name)’.
Post your work. It will automatically be added to the collection, and be made an anonymous mystery work.
Please do not post your work anywhere but the AO3 collection before June 4th. After all works have officially been revealed, you’re of course free to share your work on tumblr, or wherever else you want.

Check-In
Please read the checklist below carefully to make sure everything goes smoothly with your check-in.
The check-in must be completed by May 19th. We have a countdown to make sure there won’t be any time zone confusion.
To complete the check in, both artists and authors have to send us the rough draft of their finished work ([email protected]). For artists, that is a sketch of their finished work, for authors it is two-thirds (~1000 words) of their finished story.
AO3 usernames should be included somewhere so we know who is checking in.
People who are doing any of the other types of fanworks need to contact us as soon as possible so we can figure out what your rough draft needs to look like.
People who are finished with their gift and have already uploaded it to the AO3 collection can consider them automatically checked-in.
The check-in period is three days in order to make sure everyone can finish it in time. Please only contact us for an extension if absolutely necessary.
It is possible to drop out at any stage of the exchange. Please let us know immediately, though, so we can assign a pinch hitter.
People who fail to complete the check-in will be disqualified.
We will post a guide on how to add your work to the official AO3 collection once the check-in is over. We will, most likely, also be needing pinch hitters soon, so if you’d like to sign up, check out our pinch hitter page.
You should've gotten all of this information in an email as well. If you haven’t given us an email address during the sign-up, it will be sent to the email address you’ve signed up to AO3 with. Check your spam folder if the email hasn’t arrived yet.
