Oh-oh-oh-woaahh, it's a new Cruel Summer remix ^.^ Sorry I delayed a bit on this one, if I'd been faster I could have avoided copyright but alas.
Cruel Summer (LP Giobbi Remix) is not Tay's strongest mix, I'm sad to confess. Not sure how much I'll really be listening to it. Bummed cause Cruel Summer had a lot of potential. This mix is airy and tropical but doesn't really go anywhere.

This is just, astounding. Listening to the remix was one thing but the video accompaniment is so necessary and moving. I feel like I just watched my life flash in front of my eyes.
I'm not sure if anyone has shared this yet, but it's phenomenal, and such a transcendent, emotional journey through her music.
the video is also spectacularly gorgeous, I'm in awe of the impressive talent, dedication, and time that must've gone into creating this and capturing the highs, lows, and connective tissue of these (230!!!) songs. it's like a magic distillation of why so many of us are impacted by and love her art the way we do:

New Tags!
Wow wee, I did a lot of tag updating today! When I first started this blog, I didn't have a super clear idea of how I wanted it organized, but after nearly a year I think I've got a handle on it.
What's new:
Album tags! To avoid confusion when trying to search for Lover (song) and only finding results from Lover (album), I have completely redone the way albums are tagged. Now you'll use #folklore album to find results from folklore, instead of the now defunct #folklore tag. Also, debut has a tag now (it's #debut album) and the reason it took so long is that I try my best to not use the queen's name on the blog - just to make it easier to dodge copyright. Of course, there's also the general era tags (#ts1, #ts2, etc) and they still function the same way.
#ts0 and #unreleased are tags you'll use for pre-debut tracks and generally leaked songs, unless we're talking about the Taylor's Version, in which it will only use the appropriate #tv.
#weather mix will be the umbrella tag used for any mix which adds ambient weather sounds to the song. This includes snow, wind, storm, ocean waves, and of course, the ever popular rain mix. #rainy mix is now defunct and #rain mix will be used exclusively moving forward.
#acoustic and #acoustic mix have been consolidated, as have #piano and #piano mix. I like to be specific so I'm choosing the #mix tags to keep.
There's more little details I'm sure but I'll keep it (relatively) brief. Hopefully this new system is cleaner and makes it easier for y'all to navigate and search the blog.
