My Apollo candle is getting pretty close to the bottom of the jar. Unfortunately the glass is also getting SUPER hot (to the point where you can’t pick it up until it’s cooled off) and I don’t want it to crack or explode or something dramatic like that lol. What do you guys do with candles dedicated and offered to deities when they’re low/gone?
I’m thinking I might take the wax out and put it in my candle wax warmer while I look for a different candle and repurpose the jar for him in some way.

Do you guys think Artemis would mind sharing an altar space with Hermes? He’s been reaching out to me lately and I was trying to check with Artemis if she minded baring the space but I got a lot of mixed answers with my tarot cards.
I pulled the Magician and the Temperance (both of which sound like they would be linked to Hermes for various reasons in my guidebook for my deck) but I also pulled the tower and a card that warned that my actions have consequences and could hurt other people? And then I pulled a card when I was trying to clarify that said to “go for it” and talked about positivity, So I don’t know if I pulled the wrong cards or what happened there. I was curious if any of you have them sharing alter space?

For Apollo, they sing.
Choruses of children and grown alike. High and low, voice unique. Musical sound that causes one to two. The children laugh and twirl to the sound. They lay in the grass, writing poetry for hours. Bathing in the sun for hours. Arrows that point and targets that will be hit. They run through the glorious light, running as they sing.
Intelligent Father of prophecies soon told, they sit at his feet in awe. Dancing with Muses and wild as a fox, eyes that peer like a raven. Honeyed glow and fury that burns, scorching like a radiant sun. Hubris unaccepted. Protecting boys and men alike. Wise and stern being, kind and warm soul. I heard they call Him, Apollo.
For Artemis, they hunt.
Hushed steps of careful watchers. In the grass, In the trees. With arrows so sharp, exact target soon hit. Inhale. Exhale. Target hit. Those that hunt and grow in Her honor. They praise the Goddess of Hunt. She guides the animals to safety in the incoming winter snows. Soon born life, she guides with whispered care.
Wild divine twin of the hunt, protecting girls and women from lands that stretched. Crunching leaves under Her swift feet, soul intertwined with the land. Clever and known, eyes enlightened by the moon. Wrath that pierced like a wild boar’s horns. Hear Her cry in the wild. Revered and adored, nightly bright light of the moon that shines in the sky. They praise towards the sky. I heard they call Her, Artemis.

Oh my gosh YES thank you that is so so helpful! I really like those ideas. I dont want to hoard pennies and this is also such a nice way to give back to her! I’ll definitely give it a go on the upcoming new moon!! Thank you so so much for the ideas!
I was going to just deal with it in my own way but I think I need advice. So there’s two gifts Hecate REAAAALLLY enjoys from me. Old used keys from thrift stores and pennies. This isn’t an issue at all. I love giving her these all of the time.
The problem is that now I have SO MANY PENNIES that her entire offering bowl is overflowing. (We’re talking well over a dollars worth) And my fam cannot know about the whole Offerings to Ancient Gods/Goddesses thing so I can’t really get a bigger bowl. (It’s also in my bedroom so I can do food offerings in there)
Have you guys had this problem? I’m thinking I might just get some paper and learn how to roll pennies and then tape it shut or something. So that I have more room to … you know, give her even more pennies. 😌
I don’t know! this is what works for us but I’m running out of room and I do NOT have the heart to get rid of the pennies in some way.
Thoughts? 😌

Maybe an obvious reminder but you don't have to feel guilty when you don't have anything to offer to your Deities in return for help.
In the same way you don't have to repay someone for doing you a favor out of their heart's desire - and don't have to feel bad if you cannot return their kindness with an equal gift back. People - and Deities - that love you understand when giving back is hard or impossible for you.
Sometimes a thank you is enough. Gratitude is enough, in whatever shape and form you can give it.
It's not transactional, it's set in mutual kindness and respect.
