It's telling that western leftist radicals on Tumblr have gone whole hog about how inherently evil and corrupt Israel is and demanding its downfall when I didn't notice half that passion or those demands aimed at Russia when they invaded Ukraine (which I'm pretty sure is still happening!). Yes there were posts and donation links, but nothing like what I'm seeing now.

See, Israel's government (with ample help from the west) is indeed corrupt and committing atrocities and has since the occupation started long ago, and they and Russia and any occupying force should be held accountable, their aggressions stopped, and their colonizing dismantled. But I think a great deal of y'all need to realize that antisemitism fuels a generous portion of your so-called humanitarian fervor right now.

There is a way to support a free Palestine without glamorizing the Hamas or Houthis, both organizations who are pretty clear about wanting Jews dead. You should also understand that for centuries up to the occupation, Palestine's government consistently and cruelly drove Jews from their homes. It doesn't excuse Israel's government doing the same to Palestinians, but maybe appreciate the historical context that after WWII when no other country wanted to take in Holocaust survivors, they considered Israel as their only hope. A great portion of them were lied to and misled by the government, so maybe shut up if you say shit like every Israeli deserves to die? Maybe admit if you're, like me, a western goyim, that you don't possess the first-hand knowledge required to pass sweeping judgments on shit you don't really know about.

Admit you are not immune to antisemitic rhetoric. It doesn't happen in obvious ways with big capital letters. Be fucking aware.

It's never felt more like a 'Fuck western lefties' time for Iranians than now! My people are struggling socially and economically under the rule of a fascist dictator terrorist regime, getting beaten, murdered and silenced by a corrupt government, that is vastly unpopular, day in day out. Now we're at the brink of a costly war on top of everything. And western left wingers are CHEERING ON THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC! Twitter and Instagram are full of dumb westerners acting like the IR is some kind of hero here. Fuckin hell. Two terrorist regimes are going at each other, the result is going to be more misery and civilian deaths. More destruction and casualties. There's nothing to cheer for here.

I can just hope this won't escalate into another humanitarian crisis. God knows the world doesn't need more war and loss of innocent lives right now.

My favorite part of House of the Dragon was when Alicent forced Viserys to marry her at gunpoint, bullied and physically abused Rhaenyra for every second afterwards, violently beat Helaena so badly that she sprints out of the room every time Alicent walked in, tortured Viserys to death, called her son's victims lying whores and killed them, spent all of her dialogue talking about how much she hates women and how big of a raging misogynist she is, and hired the entire FBI to stalk Rhaenyra. And then of course my favorite part of her fandom is the people who go on lengthy Lori Alexander-type screeds about how women shouldn't vote and how Trump is the greatest president of all time.

My other favorite part of House of the Dragon was when Rhaenyra bullied the shit out of Alicent their entire friendship, deliberately raised her sons to be domestic terrorists at elementary school age, slept with every single man in Westeros and Essos, lied to Alicent about everything including her own name, held Viserys at dragonpoint and forced him to only pay attention to her, was a worse ruler than Maegor, Aerys II and Joffrey combined, and plotted to have Aegon II assassinated from the second he emerged from Alicent's womb. Oh and my favorite part of her fandom is the people who have created a religion around her and believe her to be the second coming of Christ.
