If the only way to order delivery from a restaurant is through one of the junk fee apps because the restaurant does not employ its own delivery drivers, this is just a simple economic tradeoff for the individual consumer. Do you want the convenience more, or do you want to keep your money more? Restaurants are under no moral or legal obligation to provide in-house delivery services. Surely having the option for delivery at inflated cost is better than not having the option at all.

Having food show up wherever I am without having to go somewhere to get it is a luxury, not an entitlement, and I expect to pay for luxuries.
