Hello everyone! It's been a rough couple of years with recent events, hasn't it? I had a rough start to my college career and spent subsequent years working out why I failed and waiting to see what would happen with covid. The world isn't quite out of the woods yet but I'm happy to say that my journey of self-discovery and skill-building was successful.

For those of you new to this blog, I’ve been doing free and paid divination readings for almost a decade and, on the word of those I’ve done readings for, I’m pretty damn accurate. I used to only offer free readings for my close friends, but as a financially independent adult, I have expenses that leave me with little room to breathe in my budget. I decided to offer paid readings as a way to compensate for that lack of wiggle room and as a way to pay homage to the many years I have spent honing my skills and knowledge on divination and other areas of my craft. The money I earn by doing readings in my free time helps to support my goals as an electrical engineering undergraduate. It may be used for groceries, cat supplies, research materials, project parts, and "fun" purchases I probably wouldn't otherwise be able to afford.

It is perhaps the easiest for me to interpret, as the cards themselves speak only in symbols and loose concepts. Much of the interpretation relies on my own intuition. It's best at answering specific questions.

I have a selection of decks that you may choose from when you request a tarot or oracle reading from me. If you do not specify a deck, I will choose a deck that I think would be best for your reading.

A spread ($5 per position): You can ask me to create a spread for you or choose from one of my existing spreads—just explain what you want a reading for and I’ll provide you with a list of my personal spreads that you can choose from. I will create a spread for your specific situation at no extra cost if I do not already have a spread that fits.

Energy Readings

I am an energy worker (as you may have noticed from my posts) and can provide a variety of services by reading your energy. Please note that, especially concerning energetic composition and elemental alignments, I can tell you what I sense but ultimately it’s your call on what feels right to you.

Energy Scrying ($20): I use your energy to scry based on the situation you describe. I’ll experience a variety of things, similar to a weird dream. I’ll describe the experience, then interpret it for you. It’s similar to psychometry, which is getting information about things through touch. You must give me something to scry for.

Energy System Health Check ($5 for diagnostics + $20 for energy healing + $10 for temporary shielding--up to $35 total): I perform a comprehensive health check for blockages, parasites, damage, inefficiencies, and other oddities for your energy system. I charge $5 minimum for a diagnostics reading, then (if it's something I am willing to help with) I charge an additional $20 for energy healing. Finally, at the end of the reading, you can choose for me to also surround your energy body with a protective shield that lasts for a full 28-day moon cycle, barring any direct interference or abnormal degradation from outside sources. This would just give your system a bit of a protective buffer as the shield fades over time to get back to normal.

Energy System Layout* ($25): I can tell you how I perceive your energy system in terms of where your energy centers lay within your energy body, any abnormalities, your energy channel mapping, and any other significant details I notice about your energy body. I can tell you details about how I think your energy system functions as a result of your system's unique layout.

Elemental Alignments* ($30): I’ll tell you your compatibility with each of the elements based on your energy. I cover the four basic elements (air, earth, fire, water) as well as the elements of spirit, light, shadow, darkness, wood, metal, blood, and electricity. Please refer to this post for more details about my personal elemental system.

Energy Composition* ($20): I’ll tell you what types of energy your own energy is made of. This includes, but is not limited to: Void, Angelic, Hellborn, Fae, Cosmic, Nature, Life, Death, Liminal, and elemental energies.

Ability Reading* ($25): I can peer into your energy and get a sense for what innate abilities and affinities you might have. This includes your primary clairsenses and may reveal special properties of your energy, such as how malleable it is and how it functions to give you your innate abilities. Other innate abilities may include astral projection, dreamwalking, a special connection to animals or plants, and more.

Spirit Connections ($10 per connection): I can tell you the strength and nature of an energetic connection toward a spirit companion or guardian, a spirit in your home, or a person in your life. I will not read them, however; only the connection you have with them from your perspective. These readings are extremely detailed, not simply “it’s a ___ connection.” It covers how you feel towards them, your compatibility, and many other things. Ask questions via pm!

Witchy Services

Custom Spells ($20 +$10 if you'd also like me to cast it): I will work with you to create a custom spell for you! I can customize it based on what you want the spell to do, the materials you or I possess, and the magic you're familiar with. You can choose to either cast the spell yourself or have me cast it for you for an additional cost. Either way, you'll be involved in the process every step of the way to ensure the spell is customized to your liking.

Witchy Tutor ($20/hr--You can pay for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 3 hours per session): You can essentially hire me to be a witchy tutor! You can test your reading abilities on me, ask me to test your wards, ask me to evaluate your energy work, or even ask me to evaluate enchanted items. I can provide detailed feedback for you to help you improve your own skills. Hell, if you just want to ask me questions about a topic I'm well-versed in for 30 minutes, go right ahead.

hello, this is the anon from before 🌀. thank you so much for taking the time to give me so much information on energy suns. it has really resonated; and to be honest a lot of things clicked for me while reading, particularly about interpersonal relationships. unfortunately i have experienced a few extremely abusive relationships (familial and outside the family as well) as well as what i thought were friendships but turned out to be rather dark. i'm not sure all were energy vampires, but the gist of it is, a common thing is that people have hounded me to connect with them. much much more than what other people have experienced, and multiple times, with unrelated people, for my whole life. this would be nice if they had not turned out to have been extremely messed up in unique and creative ways, to say the least. in addition, most situations where i have put my foot down and retreated myself from the other person or group by disagreeing, etc- has launched what could amount to be a full scale attack where people do not want me to leave, are furious that i am distancing/disagreeing, and this has happened both in personal relationships one in one and in group dynamics, with unrelated people. this isn't everyone- thankfully- but it has been so utterly depressing. a majority of the people in my life have exhibited this behavior, and almost everyone who has gotten close to me/is family has been the worst at this. i even experience this with people i'm not close to (rarer but it has happened) like if i energetically/emotionally/psychologically leave- not even physically- it triggers a rage response where they try to control me. i think i have unusual circumstances compared to most- i've experienced a lot of abuse from my family and others. i've had better luck with friends but have had a few very bad apples, and only a few people who do not freak me out. i know that's all very personal and strange, but i was wondering if you had experienced similar? thank you for taking the time, and if i ever overstep please let me know.

Hello again, love! I'm so glad all that information resonated with you, I hope you'll find some of it useful as well. I am so, so sorry that you've had to go through all that. Abusive/toxic relationships are taxing and stressful as all hell. I'm not actually certain if experiencing toxic and abusive relationships to this degree is part of being a sun, but yes, I have experienced more than my fair share of them. For me, though, instead of people wanting to get close to me to try to control me (except in the case of my parental unit), I have a long history of people just abandoning me out of nowhere and then talking behind my back. I did have an experience a few years ago where I was being harassed over the internet and that lasted for around a year. Generally, though, nowadays my interpersonal relationships have been pretty stress-free because I've gotten good at cutting toxicity out of my life, and those I didn't cut out actually started therapy and are much better to be around now.

Non-magically, the behaviors you've described sound very much like you often run into narcissists. And the problem with those types of people is they often don't recognize that they are or have been doing anything wrong at all. My roommate and best friend have a narcissist for a mother, and after some particularly nasty shit that went down, we've all cut contact with her because sometimes, that's the best thing you can do.

Have you ever heard of a cord-cutting ritual? There are many ways to do it, the most popular is with actual cord and candles. Cord-cutting rituals can be helpful when there are people hounding you in life that you've asked to leave you alone but aren't, or if you've cut someone out but that someone still holds sway in your life through things they've done or said to you that haunt you. It's a form of cleansing as well as fate work. Obviously, if you don't also tell this person to leave you alone and take the necessary steps to distance yourself from them a cord-cutting ritual alone won't work as well. If you run into these types of people quite often, it may be helpful for you to learn how to perform this ritual. I don't have anything on it but since it's such a well-known form of magic I don't think it would be hard for you to find a few methods you can try online.

Bringing this back around to energy suns; I do know that we tend to attract certain types of people/entities without meaning to. For my specific flavor of energy, I've noticed I attract a lot of magical humans, fae, and dragons. Lots of dragons. Right now, in the apartment I'm living, both of my neighbors just happened to be witches. If you're attracting a lot of negative people, energy screens may really be able to help you in that regard, since you can alter a screen to act similarly to glamour as well. For certain combinations of energies, you can program a screen to make your energy appear different from them.

Thanks, chicken! I think I absolutely can help with this or, at the very least, provide some information. The situation you've described, anon, is one I am intensely familiar with. From what you have described, I think you may be what is sometimes called an "energy sun". People have also called us energy batteries and energy generators. You've probably heard of energy vampires: people who have depleted levels of energy that they must supplement by taking energy from their surroundings. Energy suns are basically the opposite; our energy systems seem to naturally produce much more energy than it has the capacity to handle and, typically, much faster than we could get rid of normally. Over-saturation in the energy system eventually leads to hypersensitivity with our psychic senses, an intense cycle of burnout and flare states, loss of control over psychic abilities, and even unwanted visits from beings who are attracted to our energy. Personally, I have very strong psychometric abilities. Psychometry is essentially claircognizance through touch. I remember when I was younger, I used to wear a lot of long sleeves and baggy clothing because whenever my skin would come into contact with someone or something else, I would get intense and unwanted flashes of knowledge about the thing/person. Because I'm also an empath, if it was a person or another sentient being, intense emotions would sometimes accompany the info. As I grew up, the problem got worse because, for me, my psychometry occurs not only by physical touch but by contact with my energy fields as well, and as my energy system matured my energy fields began reaching far beyond the boundary of my physical skin. Fortunately, I was able to stabilize my system with a few different methods that I still practice to this day. One of the things that have helped me are specialized shields I call "screens". Screens are a lot like regular shields, except they don't block out /everything/. You can program what kinds of energy get let through and what don't, and as a bonus, they allow your energy system to "breathe". Regular shields and wards also act as containment, meaning they both block energy and entities from entering AND keep what's inside contained. This can be useful in certain circumstances, but for us energy suns, regular wards and shields just create more problems because they end up trapping all of our excess energy inside us unless we consciously push it out. On my blog, you will find a lessons masterpost pinned to the top; under the "energy work" category will be a full post on screens, describing how they work and how to create one. Another thing that helps is using my own energy as a constant energy source to power permanent working magic. Normally, programming working magic to use you as a source would eventually deplete your energy and cause you to go into burnout; however, for energy suns, this is less of a problem.

Think of your energy system as a sink that has been plugged. Normally, water (energy) is being taken out of the sink at roughly the same rate that the faucet is adding water back in, so the sink never overflows. For energy suns, the faucet is running at full pressure and normal depletion won't keep the sink from overflowing (flares), and when it does, your system pulls the plug at the bottom to drain the sink as if it were an emergency (these periods can be referred to as burnouts). Some sinks have drainage holes near the top, which prevents overflow. Using your energy to power working magic is like creating drainage holes to prevent overflow! You seem to have already partially figured this out, since you mentioned that doing frequent divination helps. But if you had some working magic that constantly passively drained some of your energy to keep it from overflowing, that would be even better. You could enchant something that provides a benefit to you that could be constantly active, you can set yourself as a main source for wards, screens, and shields, you can create energy constructs, you can even set up external containers that can store your excess energy for future use (crystals are good for this).

One last thing that I think might help you is practicing your abilities with focus and intention. You've stated you feel overwhelmed because you're constantly being buffeted by lots of different energies. This is pretty normal for energy suns, and what's helped me is getting better at manually filtering out the different energies I'm experiencing whenever I'm doing readings, talking to spirits, working magic, and even passively getting exposed to energy (like when I touch someone/thing). Screens can help you get the hang of this because when you create them, you have to identify what you want to let through and what you want to block out, specifically. Here's an exercise I use for practice:

It's probably best to start doing this where you'll be alone or there aren't a lot of people/unfamiliar energies, but as you get more experienced you can do this pretty much anywhere. Get comfortable. Sitting or laying down, it doesn't really matter what position you're body is in as long as you're comfortable enough that you won't be paying much attention to what your physical body is doing. Got it? Good. Now, open your psychic senses to receive information about the energies in space around you. This might feel overwhelming at first, so just breathe through the experience and let yourself perceive these things until you feel calm enough to continue. It may help to remind yourself of where you are in your physical space, what your own energy feels like, or even to engage in stimming as the overflow of energy is pretty similar to being physically overstimulated. Some of my favorite stims are non-harmful body-repetitive behaviors, like rocking back-and-forth or side-to-side, tapping my collarbones, drumming out a rhythm on my thighs, or adopting a specific breathing pattern. These are grounding techniques. More specifically, they're grounding techniques that allow you to still be engaged in the exercise without having to stop or becoming too overwhelmed to continue. Figure out which ones work best for you, and you can return to them whenever you're working magic that makes you overwhelmed.

Once you don't feel so overwhelmed by everything you're experiencing, pick just one thing you notice about the energies that surround you and try to focus on it. Notice that the other energies are still present, but as you focus on one thing the other energies lose some of their intensity. You don't necessarily have to block them out, either. Just pick that one thing and explore it. What is it connected to? What are its qualities? Does it spark a vision? What can you sense about it? You can do this over a few times, picking something different to focus on each time. The point of this practice is to get good at (1) identifying energy, (2) filtering unnecessary information out, and (3) improving focus.

i haven't sent in an ask before but i have a bit of a problem that i would appreciate your advice on. simply, i have a lot of psychic energy, and it's often overwhelming. i spend a lot of mental energy trying to tune out clairvoyance and foresight, as well as spiritual contact. i do a lot of divination daily as a way to purge out the energy and it helps. as a result of some trauma i already have a lot of mental shields up against other people, but i often feel buffeted around and overwhelmed by information and flashes of insight, to the point where i either spend a lot of energy trying to shut that part of my brain up or i avoid other people and nature as well, as plants and rocks etc are also "noisy". i have been feeling so drained- more than my normal. i've been practicing tool divination for about 4 years, and prior to that had a lot of raw insight that operated on a more unconscious level. in november of 2020, i had my first interaction with spirits in a while, and i wasn't prepared (it was accidental and to be frank, at that point i still wasn't sold on the concept of ghosts or spirits). it was extremely frightening- not that they didn't anything bad, but the psychic overflow was extremely emotional and overwhelming. since then, combined with increased knowledge and practice in psychic abilities, i feel afraid of experiencing energy. basically it feels like someone/something is trying to come into my awareness and i'm trying to push the door closed, and this thing isn't negative but it's scary and overwhelming, and sometimes if it's clairvoyance about others, this makes life more difficult and depressing for me. i'm spending so much energy trying to push everything out because i think my psychic nerves are so sensitive. i'm not entirely sure of what to do, i was hoping you had some advice. i have been looking around and thinking about this problem, but i also don't quite know what to look for. it doesn't seem like i need wards as those actually make it worse. i also don't get very tired doing tool divination readings- i used to but i have a lot of stamina now due to intensive practice. i would prefer to be able to just let my abilities be free to take in information, but i am afraid of experiencing overloads of information as i tend to do. like i said, i feel buffeted daily, more intensely if i'm around others. i would like to be able to actually utilize my own abilities instead of trying to squash them out of exhaustion and fear. thank you for reading 🌀

I saw this ask and just had to laugh--and reply. The short answer is yes, though I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "simple spells". To me, most spells are simple, actually. It's really the methodology that can make a spell simple to perform, rather than any specific spell. For example, I'd say the process of creating, charging, and activating a sigil is simple and easy to do, and you can do lots of things with sigils. When you're first starting out with witchcraft, the thing that makes spells hard is the fact that you're not experienced. As you become more experienced, it gets lots easier.

The Witch's Shield

What is a Witch's Shield and why do we need them?

The witch's shield is what every practitioner needs to learn, administer and keep strong throughout their practice. Especially new witches. Think of it as an invisible force field to our eyes but energetically you and other energies can feel a resistance if they try to penetrate your protection.

Another easy example is you lock yourself and your family into your homes in the evening before you go to bed, you lock away valuables out of sight and reach of others to keep everyone and everything safe from people who wish to do and cause harm towards you. So why would being energetically open be acceptable? You’re basically leaving the door open for anyone and anything to come into your space and wreak havoc.

Now as you're interested or have been involved in this side of life, I very much doubt you don’t know that everything is made up of energy. It’s scientifically proven as well. FINALLY science is catching up to the occult and proving what we’ve been saying all along....there are things out there...invisible things that we can only sense and sometimes see/hear when we are on the same wavelength so to speak for communication and connection.

Wards and Protection, Are they the same? So Protection is something you keep behind closed doors so to speak and a Ward is a Guardian - a bodyguard or your security camera if you will.

Do we need both? Sometimes. Is it wise to have both? Yes.

You can have protection around yourself, around loved ones, your home, your car, your work space, your purse/wallet, pets. You name it, you can protect it. You can also have a Ward around yourself, your loved ones, your car etc etc. For something untoward to get to what you want to protect, it has to go through security checks and allowed into your space before they can even introduce themselves to you.

Most people, especially those who aren’t involved in this side of life, will think you only need protection to shield yourself from evil spirits or to defend ourselves from other witches. Good old Hollywood strikes with this way of thinking. Most of us witches don’t believe in the christian god ‘Satan’ but that doesn’t mean we don’t believe or know of negative energies out there that can make themselves known to us at some point in our lives. That doesn’t mean that we think every negative thing that comes at us is a demon or poltergeist for instance - side note - EXTREMELY RARE. But we know of energetic negative energy that is sent towards someone or has been built up over time.

Not all negative energy is evil, it’s just a lower vibration of energy of what we need to flourish. Think of it as energetic dirt, you wash yourself to physically get rid of dirt, so why leave our energetic bodies to take on muck which in the end can bring on illness, fatigue, spiritual development can be slower etc. So keep your energetic body clean and you’ll be better for it.

Most of the negative energies you will come across on your path will be rather mundane. Something you can easily detect and remedy, which we’ll get onto in a moment.

But for now what about wards? We naturally have our own Ward connected to us since birth. These are called ‘Guides’. Most of you (I hope anyway) are in connection with their guides and have a relationship with them already. If not, do not worry they are ready and waiting for you to make connections and help you along your path. These can be seen as your spiritual bodyguards.

They are here to work with you along your path and within your life (to a certain degree - don’t forget we do have free will) It is their job. They are contracted to you as you are to them. Before you came down to this earth you both made a decision who was going down and who was staying, what you would want to learn from this experience and how they can help you. Both growing together and in turn helping each other's souls progress to higher understandings.

They are with you the majority of the time especially when you are trying to develop spiritually or are in some kind of danger. However they won’t be helping you pick out the best carrots while you're shopping, they do have better things to do funnily enough. They can be funny and serious, loving and tough on us. But that’s what we need. They are our best spiritual friends, they have our best interests at heart and want us to succeed and grow as they can also succeed and grow along with us, so it’s win-win really.

Other types of wards can be put in place to help guard what we want protecting such as Spell Jars, Witches Bells, Poppets, Crystals, Witches Ladders, Mirrors, Mojo Bags & Herb Bags.

So we’re going to discuss these a little more alongside protection work so you’ll have the knowledge and means to perform these yourself when you need your security bumped up a notch or two

But how do we do this? Is it hard? Are there different types of protection and wards? the questions really do go on and on. But your here today to find out some more information from this wonky witch on what it’s all about and how to perform such things, so let’s get witchin’.

Most Common Types of Attack Psychic Thoughts/Energy - Yes just the thought sent out into the universe can be an attack. Now it depends how much power the sender has and how much protection you have as a witch, on how you’ll be affected. These attacks are to cause misfortune to the target in question.

You may just have small silly things happening that are inconvenient for you within your life or you may feel down, drained or even everytime you come across someone in particular you feel some form of negativity from them. This could be them thinking negatively about you and wishing that on you simply because they are jealous in some way or you said something they didn’t like or they just don’t like you - little fact here everyone, not everyone is going to like you and visa versa, it’s just the way energy works. We’re like magnets, sometimes we attract, sometimes we repel. It’s not intentional but sooner you accept that the better. Some energies just don’t mix and that is fine!

There is power in words and thoughts, just have that in mind when something like this comes about. You may even be throwing a psychic attack to someone unintentionally because you just don’t like them in some form or fashion. Check yourself before you think negative of someone. Do they deserve it? and Why the hell are you even bothered by them? That’s the thing you need to look at more, is why are you bothered by what they said? because it’s true? did it hit a nerve that you didn’t want to face. Because 9/10 they will forget what they said or done in an instant and carry on with their lives, while you’re still obsessing over it and letting that psychic attack into your space.

Psychic Vampires - No I’m not talking about people running around in the dead of night, with sharp teeth and sucking the life force out of your neck. I’m talking about energy drainers which is probably a better term to give them. Now like psychic attacks this can be done unintentionally and I’m sorry to say it but we’ve all done it to someone.

Ever had a friend or family member who you dread to see sometimes because you just know they are going to be chewing your ear off moaning about every little thing over and over again but never doing anything about it. The oh worries me people. I mean we’ve all done it, we’ve moaned to people who will listen because we’re upset or frustrated by something then feel loads better just by having a moan about it to someone. But then the person listening is left almost on the floor from all the negative energy that’s been thrown at them by listening to the worries of the world from someone else.

This is a great example of having to have protection up so you're not left drained because they have basically fed on your energy to make themselves feel better. Good for them but not good for you. This can also happen even when you're not communicating with a person. You could be sitting on a bus and the person in front of you is just simply sitting there but suddenly you feel drained of energy. They have unknowingly tapped into your energy and taken what they need to boost their energy up while leaving you drained. As i said they haven’t looked at you and consciously gone ‘oh they look like they're full of good vibes, i’ll have some of that, gimme gimmie’ but their energetic body has gone ‘oh i feel weak. They look good, i’m sure they can spare some’ and zap! ‘thanks, bye’

We’ve done it ourselves. We know we’re meeting a friend today, which we may think ‘oh my god, I love their energy, they are so full of happiness, i’m going to feel great after seeing them’. Now you could either leave them feeling drained or you can feed off of each other which the later is always the best option but it’s not always the case.

Spirits - Unwanted or Otherwise - Now as i said before sometimes these can be out guides so it’s important to gather this information first before you start blocking them out. After All they want and need to help us along our path for us both to grow.

There could also be loved ones trying to communicate with us, even though they have passed they still wish to pick up the phone and have a conversation with us but because we aren’t on the same frequency to them we find it hard most of the time to know what they wish to speak about.

Now once you open up to spiritual practices and communication or stoke your cauldrons fire your going to look very interesting to an array of spirits (known or unknown). This is where you need to have ya wits about you, because yes you can have people knocking on your door, but do you want them to enter? The majority of them are harmless, and once they know you are as well, they will just leave and go about their business. But just be aware that once you turn your sign to open for business all sorts of energies will come and check you out to see what your upto. These can be thought of as scavengers, just like a rodent making their way into your home, you won’t want them in there because they carry disease and leave little presents for you, but perhaps they want to find food and warmth. We respect their lives and just want to usher them back outside where they came from so you and your family are safe, and we do so by covering up any holes they may have got through - protecting our space once again. These spirits can find a gap within your protection and make their way in just to see what your up to just like that rodent.

Other spirits can be the lost, the ones who have passed but not gone through the light, due to trauma of some kind. They can see you're open for business and come in to ask for some help. They do not mean any harm but these are usually troubled souls looking for aid so you may feel negative energy from them as they are in need of guidance of what has happened and healing to then move on.

Some people see these spirits as attachments or menacing but all they are doing is asking for some help and as your light is on, they have come to you. Jinx - Jinxes are small, relatively harmless spells. When you cast a jinx, it will cause your target minor annoyances that are temporary. You know the little annoyances like car tyre puncturing too many times, things breaking around you, electrical malfunctions, the annoying things in life that just grate on you.

Casting a jinx mainly makes you feel better about a situation and they’re usually done in the heat of the moment when someone has upset you in some way and you want to make them pay for it. The downside of doing these is that you probably won’t know if it worked unless you’re super close with the individual. Jinxes are generally harmless towards the target but are mean-spirited. They’re cast when you want something negative to happen to your target. They also don’t last that long, although you can set a specific time period before casting a jinx.

Hexes - Hexes are much stronger than jinxes. These spells will send negative energy towards your target (depending on your intention) but the hex won’t last super long. Generally, a hex is for a set duration of time or stops working when the target learns their lesson. Hexes are often useful when someone continues to do wrong and you need them to change.

Curses - Unlike hexes and jinxes, curses are meant to last for a long time. Some curses even last for generations. A curse can be placed on a person, family, place, etc. Curses really are the worst of the worst and are dangerous to the target. It’s typical for witches to cast curses on their abusers or on someone who made their life a living hell.

But don’t forget what you throw out comes back to you....in the wiccan rede it’s said it comes back threefold. If you believe in Karma then be careful unless you're willing to take on any repercussions for your actions. Especially if you're sending energy to another witch because you can cause a magickal war - literally.

Some Signs & Diagnosing of a Magickal Attack These are some potential signs to look out for when you're thinking of protection and being magickally attacked.

- A feeling of being watched, especially when you’re on your own. Now don’t forget this could be your guide or a loved one so before jumping straight to thinking you're being magically attacked do some research first. - Vivid or occuring nightmares - these could be personal fears or phobias or a horrid dream of someone chasing you and you can’t get away. This can be a sign of someone warning you that you’re under attack and you need to defend yourself. - Energy drainage - this can feel physical, emotional or mental. This can affect all parts of your life and health if it goes unchecked. Have you been getting enough sleep yet feel tired ALL the time, have no zest for things you loved doing before. Of course seek medical help before jumping straight to magickal attack but this is a very common one that people experience. - Suddenly becoming accident prone causing objects to break, tripping over your own feet etc a run of bad luck basically. - A sudden and unexpected illness when no other causes of the illness are apparent. Again check with your doctor first but if they cannot find anything this could be a sign of magickal attack.

Divination is a good place to start, especially from another practitioner who can read something that you may not want to acknowledge. Another practitioner , especially one who doesn’t know you personally won’t have the emotional attachment to you and can see things clearer and have an unattached view of the situation.

Cleansing Your Energetic Body Now there are a few easy steps to take to cleanse your energetic body. Like I said previously you physically clean yourself of dirt so why not cleanse your energetic body from any energetic dirt that's sticking to it.

Smudging - Smudging has long been used to connect to the spiritual realm or enhance intuition. For healers and people in traditional cultures, burning herbs is used to achieve a healing state — or to solve orreflect upon spiritual dilemmas. Smudging is a critical first step in any sacred ritual, as well as an important way to complete and seal sacred work. This ancient practice clears low vibrations and stuck energies. Burning sacred herbs and resins is perhaps the most time-tested method for energetically (and sometimes physically) cleansing a space. For millennia, our ancestors have believed that sacred smoke raises vibrations and assists with magic.

Ritual Bathing or Showering - Yes you can energetically cleanse yourself while your physically cleansing yourself. As water is connected to the Emotions this is of course a god way to help wash away any negative emotions you may be feeling down the drain. Adding salt, herbs and essential oil energy into the mix will help cleanse the energetic body further.

Salt - Salt absorbs what is in the air around it, like odors for instance. It’s a natural cleaner. It will soak up the energy around it too. That’s a good thing. Most witches use salt in almost every ritual or spell they perform. Salt can be used to create protective barriers to cleansing your magickal ritual circle before working. You can also place bowls of salt in corners of a room to catch any negative energies and banish them from the space. Some witches use salt as an offering to particular deities and spirits.

Water - As I said before Water is associated with the emotions so using water in some form or fashion when cleansing is a great idea. You can literally do it on a daily basis. Just by showering or bathing you can energetically cleanse when you have the intention behind it. Also using other forms of water is amazing. Moon water is always a firm favourite as it can cleanse and heal. Moon water is water that is charged by the energy of the moon. Preferably a full moon or supermoon, where the energy is heightened.

Rose Water - Magickally it is used in spells for cleansing, love, romance, healing, psychic energy and protection. A magickal water that’s been infused with the essence of roses is called rose water. Rose water is popular in many magickal traditions including hoodoo and has been used as medicinal headache relief in years past. There are different ways to make rose water, but the more traditional involves infusing the rose essence into water via heat.

Florida Water - is a magical water that’s not an actual water, but a combination of essential oils mixed with a solvent. Florida Water has also been remarkably known for its magickal properties and has become a standard cleansing and protective agent among the Voodoo/Santeria followers and the Shamans of Peru, which they include in many magickal rituals and practices as well as during any preparation phase for protection and cleansing. Bathe in Florida Water on a New Moon to cleanse away negativity. Anoint your altar and tools with it. Bless your home.

Some Types of Wards Circle Casting - Circle casting refers to the practice of setting up a temporary protective space for magick or ritual. It is, by definition, round. Circle-casting is a term that’s most commonly used in Wiccan traditions, but other magick users may cast circles, as well. The magick circle is a mobile temple, a place apart from the ordinary world where magickal happenings can more easily occur.

Spell Jars/Witch Bottles - Perhaps the best-known type of jar spell is the witch bottle. In early times, the bottle was designed as a way to protect oneself from malicious witchcraft and sorcery. In particular, around the time of Samhain, homeowners might create a witch bottle to keep evil spirits from entering the home on Hallow's Eve. The witch bottle was usually made of pottery or glass, and included sharp objects such as pins and bent nails. It typically contained urine as well, belonging to the homeowner, as a magickal link to the property and family within. The other reason why using your own urine comes up a lot in traditional witchcraft is because humans are animals too – using your own urine in a protection spell is quite literally marking your territory! The best uses for witch bottles or spell jars are ones with an air of protection. Think about it – you’re encasing the spell inside of a solid object. Where else in our lives do we do that to things (or people)?

Sigils - Sigil magick is the art of using symbols and imagery to manifest a specific intent or outcome. They are a wonderfully useful form of magick. They are coded with your unique purpose and can only be deciphered by you, allowing your intention to remain a secret as the universe works to align and deliver your desire. This gives them incredible power.

Symbols - Using symbols within your craft is very useful. You can use them within the spell or as the energy themselves. There are hundreds of different symbols out there to use but we’ll just show a few here to get you started.

Some Types of Wards

Poppet Dolls - Poppets work on the magickal practice of sympathetic magick. Like for Like.

The poppet can be made into figures of people, animals or even body parts. They are worked if they contain ‘tags’ of the target. This could be hair, teeth, finger nails, clothing, things they have used or touched, photos, named paper or even curios that represent the target. You can add herbs, crystals, petals, roots, barks, bone and even flesh or animal body parts to the poppet. The more you add the more potent your poppet will be.

You breathe life into the poppet so it takes on its own soul so to speak. These are great for wards as they can literally stand guard.

Witch Bells - Witches love to hang little bells from their door handles to scare away unwanted spirits. Usually they enchant them with spells. You can hang little bells from your door handle or on your door and chant a spell or simply hold the bells in your hand and charge them with your intent. These bells cleanse the space everytime they are rung as well as spooking any negative energy that comes into contact with the ringing bell, making them flee from the area.

Besoms - These wonderful witchy brooms are used for cleansing however also for protection and warding when hung above the entrance of a premises.

Spell Jars/Witches Jars - As said in the protection part of this workshop, Spell jars are used as a protection but they can also put that barrier up so no unwanted energies can push through into your protected space.

Iron Nails/Horseshoes - Iron Ground negative energy. If using a horseshoe, have it facing down to ground negative energy and send it away. Facing up is said to gather luck. Using iron nails you can face them outwards to prick any negative energy coming at your home or space. The energy will soon scarper.

Services Temporarily Paused

Hey all, so it seems I've fallen ill. I don't like to do readings or other spiritual things for others when I'm sick, so until further notice I will not be doing services. You can still message me and I'll get back to you in order of message recieved when I'm feeling better, but I won't be accepting payment or negotiating for the time being!

Also, I wanted to take this opportunity to note that I am a full time college student, so my timeframe for readings and other services during the week is limited to the weekend. What does this mean for you? It means that depending on how many people request my services in a week, you could end up waiting anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to move up in the queue. I will generally give you updates on where you are and how long I think it will be until I can do your reading.

I will also be drafting an FAQ post for my services. I dunno when it'll be done, but I get asked lots of questions during readings and even before readings, so I thought it may be a good idea to have the information readily available! :)

Hello all ^-^ I've been practicing divination, witchcraft, and spirit work for several years now (some thing longer than others), and the services I provide for others have gotten excellent feedback over the years. Providing magical and divinatory services is my passion, and a major reason why I'm not taking any regular employment right now is to pursue being a magical service provider :)

That being said, I'm very out of practice in certain areas (the last time I provided some services was over 4 years ago when I was last on Tumblr). So all of my energy readings are cheap as free for the time being :)

I haven't hashed everything out yet so prices and terms might change at any time ^-^

Terms & Rules

Readings I don't do:

Questions which normally require licensed & educated professionals to address. This includes: legal issues, mental & physical health, tax advice, etc.

Questions tied to traditions and cultures I'm not invited into or qualified to speak upon.

Anything to do with twin flames or soul mates.

Kintypes or questions exploring alterhuman identities.

I do not read for people under 18 years of age. If you request a reading from me you are promising you're at least 18 years of age.

Any question that makes me uncomfortable.

Any question that I don't want to read for.

I'm not obligated to discuss why I don't want to read certain questions. I know this sounds a little mean, but I only have so much energy in the day and validating my boundaries is not a fun or interesting activity for me.

How it works:

Send me a message asking about a certain type of reading (see below!). Avoid sending me tons of background info - this severely limits my accuracy!

We hash out the details.

I accept payment through Cashapp, Venmo, Paypal, or Etsy (through custom listings). Payment must be received before the reading starts.

I am open to reducing costs (but can't guarantee it) if there is a reading you can't afford. Just message me :)

I deliver the reading within 3 days by default, unless we have agreed on an appointment for later, or an extended timeline.

I deliver readings through GoogleDrive or through email :)

Tips are accepted and appreciated.

Reviews are incredibly beloved and very helpful and important to me.

What if it sucks?

I'm confident in my skills, but no reader is accurate 100% of the time. So:

I only issue refunds if I can see problems with the reading and/or I know it's not going well.

I do not redo the exact same reading for anyone.

I'll provide a tarot reading of equivalent value if you felt your reading sucked. If you got a lot-casting, energy reading, etc., I'll still provide a tarot reading. I won't read on the same question/topic, though.

If the reading sucks, and you realize it's because you never took down your wards that prevent people from reading on you, I'm neither redoing the reading nor refunding you. If you do have these wards up we can arrange an appointment time for me to read while they're down, but communicating this is on you.

Tarot

Tarot readings are delivered in a document which includes your question, the terms we agreed on, photos of the spread and individual cards, and the written interpretation.

I write as much information about each card as I detect. This is usually a minimum of 100 words per card. Sometimes it can be a page of writing for a single card. But if I'm not getting much from a card, I'm not going to pad the length.

All tarot readings have a base cost of $5. This provides a 3-card reading. Each additional card is $2.

3-card spread: $5

5-card spread: $9

10-card spread: $19

15-card spread: $29

How many cards do you need? Message me your potential questions/topics and let's talk about it. I will decline to do too many cards if I know it can be done with fewer.

Cosmic Wheel Casting

Lot-casting readings are delivered in a document which includes your question, the terms we agreed on, a photo of the casting board and charms, and the written interpretation.

The length of these readings increase almost exponentially. A 3-charm reading might take me 15 minutes to read. A 6-charm reading may easily take me an hour. A 10-charm reading can take all afternoon.

All lot-casting has a base cost of $5. This provides a 3-charm reading. Each additional charm is $5.

10-charm reading: $40

The Cosmic Wheel is exceptionally well suited at showing relationships (including relationships to concepts such as wealth), blockages, blessings, and where things are at in the present moment.

Energy Readings

Each reading is delivered in a document that details the type of reading, my interpretations, and any images (if applicable).

Aura readings: $15 $5, but you promise to write a review. I include a quick sketch of what I see. This reading reveals current elemental and energetic influences and the general health of your aura. This is not a personality type reading or a current emotional state reading.

Spirit check: $5 $1, but you promise to write a review. Describe a spirit you expect to be around you and I'll look to see if I can find it. Can also be a general check for a certain type of spirit. Don't ask about closed culture/trad spirits, you should find someone qualified to help you!

Elemental attunement check: $0 (free!), but you promise to provide feedback or a review. I check out the four elemental energy centers in your body (this is a different energy center system than the 7 rainbow centers) and advise how each one appears, how robust it is, and how much energy is within each.

Rainbow centers health check: $0 (free!), but you promise to provide feedback or a review. I do a checkup on your seven New Age rainbow energy centers and advise if I see any blockages or areas that need attention, as well as a quick overview of each center. This reading provides less detail in each category because there's so much to get through.

I enjoy this message! Yes, absolutely, ask yourself, your spirits, your divine, etc who should divine for you. I think all of us have different skills and specializations. I would honestly compare it to finding the right physician or therapist! You gotta make sure you can communicate well and you and your diviner vibe together. 💜

On Selecting the Right Diviner, I: Identification Through Petition

So, if you haven’t seen my FAQ - where I encourage people to pray to their spirits and higher selves before booking with a diviner - I’m gonna talk a little about that here, and why that matters.

Divination is a form of spiritual work; when a third party is doing your divination, you are granting that person access to your energy, your history, and so much more (depending on the skill and experience of the diviner). Many diviners also boast mediumship or the ability to relay messages from your ancestors, guides, divinities, or even your higher self. For this reason, to make sure that your diviner is the one that your people want speaking for them…ask them directly.

It's also important to ask and seek clarity because the stats, shop numbers and visibility of a diviner don't mean shit when it comes to which one of us (yep - me too) is right for you and your situation. Going to one of us based purely on popularity or word-of-mouth alone does not always yield the experience or solution that you're supposed to gain through divination. Ask to be sure!

Asking also spares everyone the experience where your spirits are dead silent because they don’t want that diviner doing your work, as well as the experience where a diviner has access to your information who really, truly shouldn’t - whether due to issues of ethics or skill level. I also have seen and heard many a story where a diviner was relaying messages that weren’t actually what was being said, leading to chaos when the messages were heeded. Checking ahead of time also means that you go into your session with enough confidence not to bait or "test" your diviner - something that a discerning diviner will terminate service over off-rip.

So how do you go about verifying alignment ahead of time? Easy. A simple way to do that is below the cut.

To ask your spiritual support which diviner is right for you, simply enter as calm and quiet a space as you can enter. If praying directly to your higher self, I recommend gently holding your head, as you say:

“I, [full name], call upon [name specific spirits, such as a guardian spirit or ancestor that you trust, or your higher self], for clarity and understanding. Thank you for opening the way for my success, longevity, and good health; thank you for opening the way for me to progress in confidence and joy. Please show or guide me to the right diviner for me: make it obvious, in a way that I will understand. Thank you.”

Your confirmation can come in the form of a dream, or a name that keeps popping into your head, or simply a recurring feeling; the most important thing is to remain faithful and trust that they will respond, and that you’ll get it.

And if you’re wondering why divining on your own is not the first line of discernment, I’ll simply say this: I’ve met people with enough warding that they can throw off other diviners, or they may have spirits preventing an accurate read. Further, without phrasing the inquiry delicately - such as asking about alignment and appropriateness of initiating a diviner/client relationship - you may directly alienate that diviner, or put them off doing your work.

Diviners - in some iteration or another - have gained an incredible amount of visibility over the last few years, but that doesn’t mean that the vast majority are your diviner. It is so so important to work with the ones who are, so that you either get in spiritual alignment with yourself or continue to be such!

Hey, a while ago I saw you mention different energy states. Stuff like people being energy mirrors or psychic vampires etc. Apart from psychic vampires I can't find a whole lot on other states of being energywise. I was wondering if you could give a brief overview of these energy states and how they feel when you encounter them/are one? Thanks in advance.

Sure! This is quite a fun ask for me, actually. So, as someone who has performed energy readings for many different people over the years, I can actually tell you the differences between the different energy modes from personal experience. Keep in mind that this is all going to be UPG, or unverified personal gnosis, but I'll do my best to keep the language understandable. When I encounter someone with a weird energy system, it's usually quite obvious because it will deviate in some way from what I normally see in an energy system. For example, typically, a person's energy cores don't differ much in color from another person's. That is, I view all throat centers as a shade of blue, all heart centers as a shade of green, all mind centers as a shade of purple, and so on. The energy channels are also usually colored depending on their main function. An energy channel running from the mind center to work on or with the heart center, for example, is typically a shade of purple or grey. So, when these colors deviate from what I generally encounter, that's the first sign that something is up. The next step is figuring out what that something is. I know from experience that when I encounter a rainbow of colors of what feels like foreign energy in someone's energy, I am dealing with an empath. Every time I've asked someone I was reading when I found this particular tell, I got something like, "wow, yeah I am an empath, how did you know?" When I first started noticing it, I started asking everyone if they believed themselves to be an empath or not. Overwhelmingly, in those I saw the rainbow energy close to 95% of them said "yes" and in those I didn't, about the same percentage answered "no". Many of the other energy states have similar tells. Psychic vampires and other types of energy feeders leech energy during an energy reading. They can't help it, especially when I'm right there poking their system to see what's up. If they don't outright try to feed on me, they will at least attempt to reach out to me. I find foraging a connection with a vamp or feeder to be quite easy because they naturally do half the work for me. Their system also usually contains what I and others call "feeder tendrils", which are lil ropelike wisps of energy that can reach out, latch onto, and drain a source of energy. They are typically part of the energy field. So, if I see someone with an energy field shaped like some sort of eldritch horror, it's pretty obvious to me that I'm dealing with a vamp or a feeder of some kind. They are also usually missing some part of their system, such as one or more of their energy centers, or the system is damaged in some way.

Energy chameleons have the ability to change their energy system at will, usually to match with the people around them. When I look at a chameleon's energy system, their energy tends to shimmer in a way that is iridescent. Admittedly, I have not met many chameleons to know much more than this.

Energy Mirrors have the ability to reflect the energy around them. Their energy registers as translucent and sometimes colorless. I've also not many mirrors.

Energy Suns/Generators are kind of like the opposite of a Vamp. They produce more energy than their body is able to handle and so must discharge it in a number of ways in order to function normally. They tend to run physically warmer than most people, tire less easily, but don't necessarily present as more energetic. Energy suns have systems that are literally overflowing with energy. Their energy field, unchecked, is expansive and rests far beyond the barriers of their physical bodies. They also burn energy very fast and if they don't manage the way their system works can end up in a vicious cycle of high energy and low energy, which can be quite exhausting both for the sun and the people around them. (I'm a sun, by the way.)

These are the main energy states that typically come up. There's also converters and amplifiers, but those are more abilities that are either naturally present or consciously acquired, so aren't quite the same as the rest of the modes. They don't have as drastic of effects on the energy system, either.
