What are the actual differences between a side blog and a main blog?

I think if you look up this question, tumblr has a frequently asked about this that will probably be more detailed than I will be, but I’ll do my best to be precise!

So basically side blogs function like a main blog, except they can’t: like posts, follow blogs, send asks. You can still like posts and follow and send asks, but when you do it, it will appear to those people as your main blogs name and not your side blogs.

Ex: if I like a Hannibal blog and want to follow them, I can, but it’ll tell them that “TheFabledPheasant started following you” instead of my Hannibal side blogs name TheFabledCannibals.

The purpose of most side blogs is to separate interests. Like I keep multiple side blogs partly because I don’t like having so many different interests on my main blog because it just feels cluttered and messy and stresses me out lol. But I also do it so that if someone likes my posts about Merlin (for example) but they don’t like any of my other interests, they can follow this without worry.

I view Morgause as a lesbian so I don’t see anything real with this. I know they made their relationship very flirtatious, but I think Morgause had no real interest in him whatsoever and was just playing the long con to get what she needed from him.

Cenred definitely wanted her though lol I think it’s a really interesting dynamic because I love to watch her manipulating him for fun. It’ll get a higher ranking for that. But I don’t see any reciprocation here.

This shit is SO funny. I know he’s his servant but it’s not like they can’t take the picnic stuff on their own. Merlin really doesn’t need to be there. But he is. Because Arthur wants him there. Arthur always wants him there.

Me rn with my Merlin fic

I was gonna make a silly post about how Merlin has chemistry with everyone because he’s just the guy of all time. But I then I thought, what if there’s actually a reason for that?

Merlin is magic incarnate. He mentions how he can literally feel the earth vibrating. It can be assumed that magic flows through living things, so why should that not apply to people?

I’m not saying every person can perform magic, more so that everyone is made from a piece of it because magic is one of the building blocks of life.

So, Merlin can feel it in people, too. He’s able to connect to even the worst of them because of this sliver of magic. He recognizes it as the truth that everyone is capable of good, that we’re all made of the same things… that everyone is magic.

Do y’all ever purposefully do something uncomfortable just so you can experience the relief that comes with stopping it later? Ex: putting hair in a ponytail, wearing a bra all day.

To me, it’s like a signifier that the relaxing/me part of the day has begun.

one day, when arthur grabs a fistful of merlin's shirt, the fabric rips with a sharp sound and they both freeze, like any additional movement would somehow be the thing to confirm what had just happened. it's really not that big of a deal, it's only a small hole, an easy fix, but arthur looks like he's been betrayed and merlin looks about as offended as one can get in such a situation.

before he knows it, words start spilling from merlin's mouth accompanied by huffs and sighs, something along the lines of "well, that's just great" and "why'd you do that anyways" and "you do this all the time you know, and i really don't get why, you could just tell me where to go or to move quicker". and arthur doesn't say anything, just blinks, but merlin rambles on and on. suddenly, it's not just about the shirt anymore, it's about the shoves and the pulls at his arm or waist, the face touches. it's clear as day once it hits him, how it's all unnecessary and kind of just what arthur does, how the sheer amount of such touches has only grown over the years, even with merlin understanding better and better what arthur wants and when.

arthur doesn't give in, doesn't confirm or deny, so merlin makes it his mission to tease every time it happens again. he knows that if he does it enough, teasing will turn into provoking and arthur will have no choice but to retaliate. merlin's like a kid at the fair, aiming for a prize and he's set his eyes on a proper hug. baby steps.

And I thank you for it, because Lancelot x Gwen is among my favorites. Every time they’re on screen together, the chemistry kills me. They’re so aghhhh.

To me, Gwencelot is endgame (in my perfect world). And despite the fact that they’re both so kind, I think there’s so much opportunity for angst because as you said, he’s too much of a noble dumbass for his own good. And the best ships to me have at least some amount of angst. The ships gotta have bite lol

I’ve mentioned before how the show isn’t great with pacing and kind of speed runs falling in love and they’re not an exception of that, but their chemistry is so intense that I don’t even care. I wish Lancelot had stayed around when Gwen became interested in Arthur because I’m very interested in how that would’ve played out. Lancelot basically forced her to choose Arthur by leaving and I hate it.

Like you, I mostly think of Morgana as a lesbian. She has chemistry off the charts with all women she interacts with. I also headcanon Leon as straight. However, I’m not opposed to exceptions. I mentioned in another post that Leon is straight to me except for one specific gay pairing.

At the moment, Leon x Morgana doesn’t do anything for me. I’m not sure where it comes from. However, I’m always open to changing my mind! Please feel free to shoot me the names/links of the fics!

I just don’t really have anything to go off of at the moment for the two of them romance wise. Though I don’t think the idea of them is completely inconceivable, and I can see some ways in my head in which it has potential to be something. But like I said, personally not having read any fics with the two of them and seeing Morgana as a lesbian, my rating for now will reflect that.

You’re in luck because I am definitely a shipper of these two. I fucking LOVE the idea that both of Uther’s children are in love with their servants and LGBTQ.

Morgana and Gwen make such a cute couple. They are sweet to each other and they’re there for each other in ways that aren’t exactly normal for a servant and royalty, much like Merthur. They are both badass, beautiful, kind women. I wish more had been done with them before Morgana becomes evil. I wish Gwen knew about her magic. I wish we could’ve seen Gwen try so hard to steer Morgana on the right path.

I’m very much into this ship, but I think the show did them a bit dirty. But anytime I’m reading a Merthur fic that also has a Morgwen ship in it, I cheer.
