conceptually I love the library but in practice its sf&f collection is patchy, dated and thin, and the ebooks are mainly doctor who and also you can only browse the ebook collection in accession order, and no they do not buy any book you request. "libraries have everything you could want' is just a weird take! libraries have budgets. the budgets have been cut. if I want to read this year's Hugo nominees, I cannot do that at the library. like I'm not being contrarian here. libraries are a public resource and they are as wrecked as every other public resource. stop voting Tory so I can read books again.

I hadn’t taken the time to sit down and make a color pic in a while ! The past days I’ve been stuck on a couple of PJO fan arts that should be quite simple and sketchy but still, I couldn’t  find a way to be satisfied with them. I found them boring, and I realized I didn’t have a strong feeling about where I wanted to go with those. Like, I was coloring one for the sake of having it in colors, but with no concept. So I decided to set them aside for the moment and the concept for this pic came. It was so enjoyable to draw ! I hope you guys like it ^^ 

Everyone remembers that in Episode 3 Obi-Wan had the high ground. But no one thinks about how in Episode 1 he had the lowest of the low ground and still killed Darth Maul. So the real lesson is don't fight Obi-Wan one on one. He'll lie to you about what's important and kill you anyway.

i actually dont think there's anything funnier than people watching a show or whatever bc they heard it allegedly had gay people in it then getting upset when it includes incredibly normal genre specific tropes that they personally dont like, like maybe you should have checked that before you watched it king and then they get mad at the show for being the show that it is instead of embracing it for what it is. like I'm so sorry that axe murderer 30000 had axe murderers in it and didnt have a happy ending and was really violent but i do think there are some context clues around it that could have let you pick up on that
