I love love LOVE adorable Baby Jay to death but imagine Baby Tim.
Imagine a baby casually stowing away to your space HQ via your bottomless cape. GL spots it wiggling but no one believes his eldritch cape theory & Batman gaslights him.
GL: IT MOVED!
Batman: It's a cape over a living body.
GL: So you admit there's something under there!
Superman: Uh, yeah? He's wearing it??
Dying at the thought of Baby Timmy being bold and fearless around Batman, saying he'll come with him, help him, protect him, and there's nothing the Bat can do about it.
With Bruce? It's completely different. Tim shape-shifting from this overly confident, cocky, devil may care toddler to Bruce's silent, -- too silent, -- shadow?
Bruce doesn't like that. At all.
"He reminds me of you when you were younger, master Bruce."
Bruce really doesn't like that.
It worries him that Tim doesn't have a favorite color, a favorite food, snack, game, TV show, subject, or a hero he can annoy Bruce with. Not like his brothers.

Yuu is most easily comparable to a horse or a unicorn haha yuunicorn, but something about her really reminds me of a giraffe, so here's a hastily-made diagram to show what I mean. 🦒 Other points I couldn't fit on the chart are Yuu's height (Kei says she's tall enough to stand out in a crowd) and long eyelashes.

had a dream id gone forward in time by about 15 years but a lot had changed, including the creation of 'living museums', and by that i mean museums of living people imprisoned for crimes against humanity. so ofc there was a whole section for politicians and i was looking around thinking right okay, makes sense, pretty cool. then i saw michael mcintyre imprisoned for not being funny enough and i was like... okay... subjective but whatever ig. anyway then i came to a guy who had a whole room/cell to himself, fully themed with a cool 70s-esque interior, and it was fucking jarvis cocker. and i was like JARVIS COCKER???? WHAT DID HE DO and he did nothing. he was just on display for being cool

This scene in CR where Juri and Ranka are talking about the Bat is so funny to me because... she's not dead. She's been held hostage at Janomiya's base for the last few days. The Bat went AWOL and Juri must've gone "huh. haven't seen that fucker around in a while. guess she died" and then never bothered to look into it further.
Imagine being stuck in the enemy's base for like. a week because your leader assumed you were dead with 0 evidence and thus didn't send out anyone to search for you. Help is never coming; you are trapped indefinitely in a dingy abandoned arcade with a bunch of 14-year-olds. Nightmare scenario.
(ranka teams up with the bat later on when she goes to janomiya's base to fight ao, though. do you think she texted juri like "holy shit you are not gonna believe who i just found")
#on the bright side the abandoned arcade still has electricity#so it presumably has running water as well#(i've heard that's not too rare for recently-abandoned buildings)#but the bat was probably pacing like a zoo animal until ranka finally showed up#also i guess her phone must've either broken/died or been confiscated#because it'd be easy to send out a ''hey i'm in the snake palace shithole come get me out'' message to other ryuugasaki girls#no way of contacting the outside world. no sunlight. no fresh air. probably no proper meals or places to sleep#actually hell#tbf after everything the bat did to ao i think ao deserves to trap her in hell for a bit#magia record#bat of monzenbashi#ooba juri#chizu ranka#i love talking in the tags. hi guys

on the subject of big snake Asmodeus this seems an opportunity to share the snakes at work that I've renamed Jazirian and Ahriman (or Jaz and Ahri)
Jaz is one of if not my favorite reptile at work she's such a gentle sweetie and loves to be held and carried around to say hi to people in the office. Ahri wasn't handled nearly enough and as a result always acts like he wants to bite me
#their previous names were nagini and finn and i was like 'no hp names in this house and my friend has a cat named finn so changing those'#to snake gods#also their pronouns are based on their previous names idk if theyre male or female#none of the previous caretakers kept records which is so cool for me /s#so generally apart from the animals with obvious dimorphism i refer to them all as 'she' just cause#i mean theyre reptiles they dont care#snakes#reptiles#i am trying slowly to socialize ahri#got the same issue with a little corn snake there too#no one handled the snakes enough so some of them are bitey#none of them have bitten me yet but the corn snake did bite someone else#also this is a private collection i am a glorified petsitter that is why no one kept records#its not a zoo or anything
