I made a zine about embracing the hardest and messiest parts of life by surrounding yourself with community and the importance of acting as a collective (with a bit of mcr tossed in). I will be running prints of these before Thursday. If anyone wants a copy, let me know!

I made my first zine! I'm gonna get copies at the local library and leave them around town in inaccessible places I'm unable to go because I'm a disabled mobility aid user with mobility restrictions, so that people start noticing how horrifyingly inaccessible this stupid town and the world at large is.

Finally managed to finish & order a mock up zine / test print from Mixam (see I told you I'd get that done this year😉) arrived Friday - one of a few good things of a shitty week (alongside a fun new support worker, getting a new bank card & finding out I'm not actually losing funding for my already booked respite care break with a family for just after Christmas & New Year)
Mixam UK did an amazing job, esp with making the bleed work (getting my head round adding that was *hard*), better print & paper quality than I was expecting + looks much nicer than the last zine I got printed elsewhere. And they sent me two extra free copies - anyone interested in getting one?

Timers for travelers
“Timers for travelers” is a 20-page zine about time travel. It includes:
Why timers are important to time travelers
Tips and warnings for traveling through time
Time travel methods
Copies of this zine are available in my Etsy shop.
Pages were made with a combination of hand-drawn illustrations, digital elements, and typed text.
The zine measures 5.5 inches high x 4.25 inches wide (quarter-page zine). The cover is blue cardstock. Interior pages are printed in black and white on 24lb white paper. The zine is hand-folded and bound with staples.

some people have asked about making zines, and i've seen a lot of people in the tags talk about wanting to make some but don't know how... so here is a zine (technically two) about making zines! wowza! pardon the handwriting lol
there are other methods of making zines that require a stapler or sewing, but this one-page zine is the simplest form of it.
i hope this makes sense, feel free to ask if anything is unclear :]
