There were 2 questions I can't really answer.
Interviewer: Let's go over some of your more interesting answers.
Interviewer: Unforgettable scenery: a waterfall in Nagano.
KY: So yeah, a long time ago I drove to Nagano, and on the way to the inn there was a sign saying 'this way to a big waterfall'. I've always liked waterfalls, so when I saw it I thought to take a detour to see it. I followed the path and reached a mountain, at which there was another sign saying 'you have to walk a distance from here'. Back then I thought that it would've been easier to get there as I continued walking. Suddenly, though it was in the middle of the mountains, it opened into a Laputa-like (Castle in the Sky) vast grassy field. I was touched by the views, and as I was wondering where the waterfall was I saw it in the far off distance. The scenery was fantastic and I thought of visiting it again, but later on while searching for it (online) I found that a landslide had occurred. The path got buried and was unrestorable, so it's become an off-limits place.
Interviewer: So it's also a mystical place.
Interviewer: Next qualification to get: wine expert. How is it different from a wine sommelier?
KY: Actually I was considering getting a wine sommelier certification, but the reason I've been unable to is… For wine expert and wine sommelier certification, the examination and tasting session happen together, but for wine sommelier there's an extra requirement of 3 years of practical experience. Even if I buy wine from shops or drink at restaurants, 3 years of practical experience is kinda… it would be difficult for me to take up another part time job while working as a seiyuu. But well, the examination for wine expert and wine sommelier are basically the same, and I thought it'd be nice to have that certification.
Interviewer: Recommended vacation spot: stopping by Umihotaru (a parking area on an artificial island with a lot of facilities and amenities, and a 360º view of surrounding waters)
KY: LOL. I don't really go on trips regularly, so I can't think of any regular vacation spots, but at night when I have to drive somewhere I'd often pass by Umihotaru. I've gone there a lot since I'd been able to drive, so it's a place I'd recommend going to at least once, especially at night.
Interviewer: The night view?
KY: At night it would be pretty much fully dark so there's nothing to see, and in that stark darkness I'd feel like, 'I gotta keep on living…'
Interviewer: LOL. Survival instinct.
KY: But as the surrounding sea's fully dark, I guess it might just be scary for a scaredy cat. Anyway if you're travelling to Chiba, you can stop by it on the way. It's a rest spot. You can eat seafood and sushi there, and there are plenty of fun things to do, so do drop by.
Interviewer: Others' impression of you: Undignified
KY: I don't remember when exactly, probably about 2 years into my debut, I was called into a place where a nomikai for an unrelated series was happening. The studio had 2 booths, one was for the anime team and one was for an unrelated game team. Just as I was leaving there was some hubbub on scheduling issues. An actor I knew was there and asked me, "We're just about to go drinking. Come join us?" "I'm an outsider though, is it ok?" "I'm coming then" so I went, and during the gathering I chatted with the head of the project. As he was asking, "How old are you now, Kobayashi?" I believe I was 30 then, so I said "I'm 30 years old" and he responded, "30!? You don't carry yourself with dignity, do you?" Even now I'm still in shock at what they said. I wonder if I supposed to be dignified in my 30s? (30代って貫禄出るものなのかな) But anyway at that time I was in a place where I barely knew anyone so I was putting in effort to liven up the conversation, maybe I was too hyper and that's why they said that. From then I kind of toned it down a bit. Still, it was probably a good stimulus.
Interviewer: Last one: Been told you're like a flying squirrel
KY: For this one, even I don't really get why.
Interviewer: Flying squirrel-like, eh?
KY: Well, this happened during my appearance at an event. The makeup artist was there. Sometime during the event we had to come up with 2 names, so I had to think of something. Anyway, while I was thinking of 2 names for myself... When I asked the makeup artist who had been working with us a few times, "What kind of image or impression do you have of me?" They said, "Actually since a long time ago, I thought you're like a flying squirrel..."
Interviewer: lol what part of you resemble a flying squirrel
KY: "Your face resembles one..." so I immediately went to search for a picture of a flying squirrel and I don't look like one. It was just that person's impression, and in my whole life that was the first time I've been told that I resemble one, so now that I was asked this I thought I should respond with, "It seems like I resemble a flying squirrel." I guess this is the only time I'll ever mention this. Mm-hm.
Interviewer: That was quite an impression.

Q1. Please tell us what you think about the character you voiced.
A: Givre was influenced by a certain pair of siblings and strongly believed that he was an older brother who cared for his sister, so this time, I tried to focus on that aspect when voicing him. However, as for my impression of Givre, it's hard to say, but... I think it's wonderful to have someone who is more important than anything else, even more important than your own life. I thought that living for someone you love is what makes life more enjoyable than anything else. Givre himself also lived his life as a different person this time, but he really liked the relationship siblings have, so I think that part of him wasn't so bad after all.
Q2. If you were to become a black fairy yourself, what kind of black fairy (of emotions) do you think you would be?
A: I'd probably be a black fairy of envy or jealousy. I tend to think that what other people eat or have seems better than what I have (laughs).
Q3. If you could have just one dream come true, what would it be?
A: I want to go back to when I was little with all of my memories intact.

Q1. Please tell us what you think about the character you voiced.
A: When I first saw Oboro, I thought that he was a type of character that I had never voiced before. And as I read the story, I realized that Oboro had experienced a certain event in his past that made him frail and cynical, which changed my view of him a little. If I say more, I might ended up spoiling the whole story, so by all means, please go and give Oboro's story a read!
Q2. If you were to become a black fairy yourself, what kind of black fairy (of emotions) do you think you would be?
A: I'm someone who tends to find a lot of things as bothersome, so I think I'd be a lazy black fairy...! I'm not good at cleaning, and I tend to pile up all my laundry....lol

A: I wish for a body that could live without sleep! I want to be awake all the time!

Q1. Please tell us what you think about the character you voiced.
A: When I saw the setting materials and saw how the script was filled with a lot of katakana (mostly "Uh"s), I thought I was going to voice a very difficult character (laughs). With the help of the staff, I felt relieved that we managed to finish the recording without any problems. Also, in Mateo's character story, there were some emotional moments, so it would be nice if I could deliver to everyone what I felt at that time through my acting.
Q2. If you were to become a black fairy yourself, what kind of black fairy (of emotions) do you think you would be?
A: I tend to get emotional and sentimental when I'm hungry (laughs), so I think the keyword for the negative emotion that would fit me is probably "hunger."
Q3. If you could have just one dream come true, what would it be?
A: I wish to have a stronger throat (seriously). Please take care of me!!
Q4. Please give one message to the fans.
A: I'm Takumi Yasuaki who's in charge of voicing Mateo. Mateo isn't a character who talks a lot, but there are a lot of emotions packed within those few and short words of his. He's a very pure and charming character, so I hope everyone will be able to give him a lot of love. And with this game's concept of "chasing dreams," I'm very excited to see what kind of story will unfold in the future. I hope everyone will be able to enjoy each of those stories! Uh!!

Platinum - Ise Yuri

Q1. Please tell us what you think about the character you voiced.
A: From the materials I received and the tone of the dialogues written, I went prepared for the recording with the impression that Platinum is a cool-type character. But, the direction I got was something along the line of "be more open-minded and laugh with all your might," which changed the way I thought of him. However, I was able to get a feel for the character immediately after receiving the instructions and I really enjoyed voicing Platinum. However, since Platinum's beliefs are absolutely unshakable, I had to act out the "seriousness" of that belief by considering the difference in his attitude even within his base mood.
Q2. If you were to become a black fairy yourself, what kind of black fairy (of emotions) do you think you would be?
A: The emotion that would suit me is probably "Indecisiveness." I tend to have a hard time when making choices in my daily life (laughs). I think I'd chant nastily about the merits of all the options to make people confused and troubled. I personally don't think it's a bad thing to get lost either, so I'll use this as a cliché.
Q3. If you could have just one dream come true, what would it be?
A: I wish I wasn't as weak in the morning...!! I always have a hard time waking up in the morning that my I'd lose my appetite sometimes.... It's hard to think clearly or move efficiently, so I always ended up leaving my house at the very last minute, which I honestly hate (laughs). If this habit could be improved, I could spend a better time in the morning...!

A: I can't wait to see how the players feel about Platinum's free-spirited side and his persistent side when it comes to the things he wants! There are also many other unique characters, so I hope everyone will play the game and get to know their various charms!

No, we didn’t, and it’s not terribly surprising really given how his show ends, but you know what? I feel like a lot of other Riders have actually met him, they just don’t realize it.

Kido Shinji heads out there and it’s nothing, really, just a couple of cats fighting in a spot that has some good reverb. He gets most of the details--all of them, actually, a startlingly accurate picture of the situation--from a guy who’s helping some local kids get their ball down from a tree. Never catches his name, but he’s left with the lingering impression of a smile that sticks with him for several days after.
The Den-Liner stops and picks up a passenger who orders a coffee from Naomi, compliments it extensively once it arrives, and asks for the recipe. He doesn’t seem phased by the Imagin, but he doesn’t really talk to them either. Owner, seeing him, gets sort of an odd look on his face and says, “You shouldn’t be here. Everyone remembers you.” He just shrugs, flashes a thumbs-up, pays his fare with a coin nobody but the owner seems to recognize, and gets off at the next stop.
Kurenai Wataru is playing violin in the garden when he notices that someone’s stopped at the front gate to listen. It’s a little startling, but he’s not intrusive, and he claps when Wataru finishes and asks if he ever gives lessons. Unfortunately, he says, he’s not going to be in the area for much longer, but a friend of his is looking for a new violin instructor for her son.
Onodera Yuusuke is out getting groceries, makes eye contact with someone in the produce section, and goes so dead still that Tsukasa actually runs into him. He and the stranger stare at each other for a moment and then move on without speaking. Tsukasa, who watched the entire encounter with an expression of vague alarm, spends the rest of the day watching Yuusuke like he’s a ticking time bomb.
Terui Ryuu stops to give directions to a man passing through Fuuto who, once he’s got the instructions down, asks if Ryuu’s ever met a guy named Ichijo, works over in Nagano. Of course Ryuu has, Ichijo Kaoru worked with his father once, he’s a legend. The man just grins at him and says, “He’s great, right?” and then heads on his way.
Outside a dig site in Romania, Hino Eiji is looking for somewhere to sit and eat the bento that his host’s grandmother packed for him and is surprised to hear someone else speaking Japanese on the phone next to a food stand. They eat lunch together, spend the entire time swapping stories about their travels and insisting that the other one “try this, it’s delicious,” and go their separate ways. (Several weeks later, Date Akira stops outside his field clinic to talk to a guy teaching skipping rhymes to the local kids, and is startled when the guy says, “Oh hey, I heard about you from a guy I met in Romania.”)
Kisaragi Gentarou spends an hour helping out a traveler whose bike broke down on the side of the road. The bike’s an easy fix, fortunately. The traveler gets the handshake in one try and shows him how to do a handstand.
On a beach in Okinawa, Souma Haruto takes a break from looking for a place for the Hope Ring to spend ten minutes debating the virtues of yeast-raised versus cake doughnuts with a man he’s never seen in his life but immediately trusts. When he finds out that his new acquaintance is actually a big fan of Donut Shop Hungry, he immediately Connects back to Tokyo to snag half a dozen for him. New Acquaintance is absolutely thrilled by this, asks if that’s a trick Haruto can teach him, and then doesn’t even question it when Haruto has to say, “No, definitely not.”
Kureshima Mitsuzane gets to the public stage, goes to find the usual secluded spot he watches the Beat Riders from, and is surprised to find it already occupied by a guy from out of town who’s got a takeout smoothie from Drupers and is watching the dance show with undisguised joy. He tries to go find somewhere else to watch from, but the stranger insists that they watch together, he’d love to hear about this from a local, if Micchi doesn’t mind? Micchi ends up talking to him for nearly an hour about the culture of public dance performance in Zawame, lets the stranger buy him a snack at Charmant, and then heads home feeling more at-peace than he has in months.
Hanaya Taiga takes a walk-in patient at the clinic who’s got a minor wrist fracture from a fall off his motorcycle. The x-ray of his arm looks...odd. He considers asking about it, but then he notices the look on his patient’s face when he looks at the x-ray and decides that there are some questions you just don’t ask.
Finally settled in the New World, Sento leaves his and Banjou’s warehouse home to pick up some supplies and, on the way back, nearly runs into a man who’s stopped on the sidewalk to look at the sunset. The man helps him pick up the one or two groceries that fell and, re: the sunset, tells him, “Well, you have to hang onto peace when you find it, right?” Sento thinks about this encounter, and the man’s alarmingly strong handshake, for a week.
At Kujigoji Hall, a customer stops in to have his wrist watch repaired. There’s no serious damage, the crown just needs replacing, so he waits for the work to be done instead of leaving it. Tokiwa Sougo, returning home with friends, is surprised when Woz stops in the doorway, looking at the customer, and says, “It’s you.”
All the customer says, cheerfully, is, “Sure, could be.”

I decided to do two rankings of my top 50 2.5D actors. One in terms of acting skill and level, and one in terms of how much I like them.
RULES:
1. They must still be active in 2.5D shows. (Bar Hirose Tomoki because I love him so much)

The Idom@ster SideM Wake Atte Mini! Spin-Off TV Anime Set to Premiere on October 9
A TV anime adaptation of The Idom@ster SideM Wake Atte Mini!, The Idom@ster SideM franchise's chibi style character-featured official spin-off manga illustrated by Sumeragi, is set to premiere on Tokyo MX and BS 11 on October 9, 2018.
The manga was serialized in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh monthly magazine from its June 2016 issue to March 2018 issue, and compiled in two tankobon volumes. Thanks to the anime project, the manga's serialization will restart in the magazine's November 2018 issue to be released on September 27.
315 Production's all 46 idols from its 15 units (see the VA list in the bottom of this article) are confirmed to appear, alongside the production's office clerk Ken Yamamura (CV: Kengo Kawanishi) and president Takashi Saito (Fumihiko Tachiki). The anime's official website has already opened with
a 50-second announcement PV introducing its deformed character visuals.
