Some of you may have noticed there's been a lack of updates on Moetron lately. This is due mainly to things happening in my personal life.
I've received word that someone close to me had tested positive for COVID-19. My immediate reaction was to just drop everything I was doing and reach out to help in any way I can. That's exactly what I've been doing for the past week. Knowing a loved one is suffering through a disease that has the world on edge isn't easy as you can imagine. The worst part is how unpredictable it can be. One day I'm told they're feeling a lot better with reduced symptoms. The next they have a high fever with trouble breathing as if they were experiencing an asthma attack. They were rushed to the ER but luckily released that same day.
Right now all my time is being dedicated to watching over them and getting through this tough battle together. As their caretaker, I do protect myself with gloves and masks, but even so I'm still at high risk of contracting the virus. My plan is to get tested myself once all this is said and done.
This also has me questioning about the status of Moetron. As some of you know, I've dedicated over a decade of my free time to reporting anime/gaming news via Wordpress, blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. Its just a hobby of mine that I enjoy so much. But now I'm starting to wonder if I'm using that free time wisely. Because when things in life hits you this hard, you ask yourself am I still spending enough quality time with my friends and family. Are there other things you may have a particular interest in that you want to focus on as well.
I live in Los Angeles so I'm in Pacific standard time. Most anime news comes out of Japan during late night hours for me. So I've been on an abnormal sleep schedule all this time. My RL job is both working at home and at the office. This is why I've been able to handle this way of living. Am I getting enough sleep throughout the day? Probably not. But I'm mostly feeling healthy and I do exercise when I can. These are things I'm factoring in as I try to make a decision of where Moetron should move forward.

A third PV for the original survival-action anime “Gibiate” has been released.
The new project is still scheduled to premiere in July 2020, however, it may be postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
