Some of the fantastic books that I've read on ao3, so thought of sharing them with you

Summary: Yuuri is an amazing skater - he has finally mastered his first quad and everything is looking up. That is, until Yuuri is touched by tragedy again when a snowy drive ends Phichit's life. He is offered the chance to start over in Russia, where a team of skaters and coaches band together around this amazing man who has stolen all of their hearts.

Review: it's really one of the best stories that I've read on ao3. It portrays the raw emotion that the character feels in a detailed and amazing way.

Shiro family headcanons (according to my brother)

-Shiro has a lot of brothers and only 4 sisters, there’s Haruto (the oldest, 32, a scientist), Kamehi (the chaotic neutral, 28, mechanic), Luka (the oldest girl, 26, store manager), Ryou (Shiro’s twin, 25, Garrison teacher (btw he’s ace), Keijin (the chubby panda, 23, popular YouTuber account: KeijinIsAPanda), Akane (Femme Lesbian, 21, J-POP member), Aishi (Butch Bisexual, 21, J-POP member), Aruna (Neutral Ace, 21, J-POP member), Seiko (Silent but deadly, 19, unemployed), Yuri (Mr. Not Yuri Katsuki/Plitesky/youngest, 17, college).

- Shiro is the middle child, also was the problem child when they were younger

- Older half has another mother, Shiro and Ryou were from an unknown woman, and the younger half was what the twins consider their real mother.

- Keijin, Haruto, and Luka stood to the side with thumbs up when Shiro came out to his parents.

- His mother was intially disgusted but after some coaxing from her husband, she accepted him.

- Akane is Ezor and Rachel’s best friend

- Ryou has long hair because why not?

- Keijin’s fat is natural, not gained, but he’s the strongest out of the siblings, although he yearns to be ripped like his older brothers, he comes to accept his body type.

- Shiro and Ryou fought every 10 minutes in their teenage years, it got to the point where Shiro split his head open from slamming into a wall after storming off, so their parents had to separate them.

- Shiro and his brother’s are literally the Hobb’s family when it comes to fighting other people though.

- The Shirogane sisters just sip Starbucks and stare at them

- A bully one time bullied Shiro for no reason, and Ryou punched him.

- Haruto runs interference

- There’s a family dog named Sora, and Shiro’s parents always called it, “No game No life’s” Season 2 premiere when Shiro wanted to walk the dog.

- Sora is a Shiba Inu/Husky mix.

- When Shiro was a baby, he was a lot fussier than his older siblings, so his parents had to stay with him when Ryou wasn’t near him.

- Aside from fighting all the time, Shiro and Ryou are inseparable and were as babies, so when Ryou learned to walk, Shiro started whimpering and crying, as his illness prevented him from learning to walk at an early age.

- During the Galra invasion, Keijin was streaming an episode of DDLC and when Monika jumpscared him, he ran out of the room, and thanks to Keijin not sitting there and screaming, he ensured his families survival.

- The fam was heartbroken when Shiro disappeared and Shiro was never caught crying and rambling that he wanted to go home

- In Galra captivity, during a torture session, Shiro was told his family was disappointed in him and he broke down.

- While Shiro was out, Kamehi had a baby boy named Katsuro.

- When Shiro got back from Space, the first thing he did was check to see if the fam was alright.

- Keijin recorded his families reunion, Shiro was running towards them in a sobbing mess, Akane was the first to pounce on him, Yuri began crying, Mama was smoothing back Shiro’s hair, Ryou had ran towards him excitedly and hugged him as tight as he could, the others were all asking him questions, but when Katsuro announced Sora was still here that’s when Shiro really started to cry, Sora jumped on him.

- Luka gave the middle finger to a Galra, she never felt so accomplished in her life.

- Despite everyone aging up five years, Ryou aged with Shiro, like a bond was connecting them.

- The family became distant from Adam after he got really overprotective of Shiro and broke up with him.

- The family didn’t like Curtis at first but after Curtis proposed they were all over him, congratulating him

- Kamehi’s wife is named Sara

- Akane for some reason fangirls over Momo Yaoyorozu

Is it just me or does any one else hate when people draw Yuri Plitesky too feminine? There's absolutely NOTHING, I mean NOTHING wrong with a feminine male but we know Yuri personality and how he acts and it's not very feminine. And that could be just my eyes deceiving me but that art might be good but it's not Yura. Grow out his hair and but performance make up on him but make him look like a female. Sometimes he looks so feminine that it doesn't even look like him on the hair color being the same. But I do get if you headcanon Yuri as trans or a cross dresser but that's a different story. Then again that could just be me and I'm not calling any names because I wouldn't be able to number 1 and number 2 there's isn't anyone to call out cause that too problematic. And if you do do this don't take offense I'm sure art is beautiful. 😊

Viktor doesn't know Yuuri can sing. Sure, he hears him in the shower from time to time but Yuuri always stops when Viktor joins him in the shower - which is every single time. How could blame him?

Yuuri doesn't sing when he knows someone else is listening. He hums, a little, when he prepares dinner, he whistles along with popular songs, sometimes. But singing. No.

Until their wedding. After all the guests have arrived, after the dinner and the speeches and the toasts, the music starts playing - Duetto (Stammi Vicino, non Te Ne Andare) - and Viktor gets ready for their dance, dragging Yuuri with him. But then the music fades and Viktor frowns in confusion as Yuuri walks away from him.

Even more so when he sees Yuuri’s trembling hands grabbing a microphone like it’s the only thing keeping him upright.

And then he sings.

Viktor doesn’t know the song, but that voice. Whatever he thought he knew about Yuuri’s singing capabilities... he was wrong. God, he was wrong. Because Yuuri is good! And Viktor can’t look away. Yuuri draws him in with his voice, with his look, with his words - and they are his words, they have to be! - like he always does. By the time the song ends and Yuuri lets out a shaky exhale, Viktor is sobbing whilst smiling.

They don’t even hear the cheers and applause when they fall into each other’s arms.

Yuri Plitesky, of course, is disgusted and disturbed as he wipes away a single tear, hoping no one else saw him doing that (Otabek did).

For those of you who haven’t heard the words Eros and Agape before, or anyone who just wants to know more in general, I will be examining them and discussing the possible connotation of these words as they are used in the anime: Yuri on Ice.

So what’s the deal with Victor picking Eros for Yuri Katsuki instead of Agape?

There are several possibilities!

One, I’m overthinking this! Victor may know that Eros is the origin of the word erotic and wants to see his Yuri looking sexy.

Two, Victor thinks of Yuri as a way of getting what he wants. He is going to use their relationship to his own benefit.

Three, Victor has yet to truly love Yuri. He was inspired by Yuri and he’s clearly interested in him, however they just met. The key thing to remember is that right now, Victor wants Yuri to be his. If he truly loved him (and they don’t know each other that well yet), then Victor would want to belong to Yuri. At that point it would no longer be Eros, it would be Agape.

As for Agape, that’s too intimate for these two right now. Victor and Yurio (that’s his official name now) know each other already. Agape can be platonic and most likely is as far as our little Yurio is concerned.

Now, today while sitting down, what kind of Love or Performances on the various types of Love (Greek) will suit the charecters of Yuri On ICE.

Well, let's start with Eros:

Eros or Sexual Love: This sis something that suits both the charecters of Yuuri and Victor. It's about the Physical love they share, the attraction they feel towards eachother. I'm not wrong that I think, since the banquet Victor feels a attraction towards Yuuri, while Yuuri feels the same attraction towards victor. They seem like they are each other's crushes. So, Yeah, Eros will suit both of them. Because of the Love, the sexual tension they have for eachother.

The third person for whom I think this can maybe fit, is Christopher Giacometti or Chris, because as seen in the show he is an epitome of sex appeal. So, yeah maybe it can fit him and his mysterious boyfriend I guess, but mainly for me this Love fits or exactly kind of describes the love that victor and Yuuri feel for eachother.

Agape or unconditional love:

This will fit for Yurio, as agape is the innocent kind of Love, Love for everyone. Yurio may show he hates everyone, but deep inside he helps love for all his friends, and family, his grandpa, victor, yuuri, Mila, Lilia, yakov, Otabek for everyone. Agápe is selfless love, that you will feel for everyone, and this Love suits Yurio, because even under the tough act, he is an Loveable guy. It can also fit the other charecters, like Yuuri but Yurio, is my first choice who definitely fits this category.

Philia or Deep Friendship.

This Love will fit the charecters of Yuuri and Phichit, Chris and victor, Yurio and Otabek, Mila and yurio, because they all feel this love, this deep feeling of friendship for eachother. Phichit is Yuuri's best buddy, and that goes for Chris and victor and Yurio and Mila. And Otabek is Yurios first friend. I don't have anything more to say on this Love.

Ludus or playful Love.

I think this will fit The victuuri couple well, cause this love is about flirting and teasing. Yuuri basically you know grinded on victor during the Sochi Banquet and Victor basically stood naked in the onsen. So yeah that's pretty much flirting for me. Dancing with strangers may be the ultimate ludic activity, almost a playful substitute for sex itself, and yeah, here we think of the banquet, where yuuri pole danced for victor while being drunk, and threw himself on victor, so yeah, this couple shares the Love Ludus with eachother.

Pragma, or longstanding love

Pragma is about making compromises to help the relationship work over time, and showing patience and tolerance. There is in fact little evidence that the Greeks commonly used this precise term themselves, so it is best thought of as a modern update on the ancient Greek loves. So, it's also about Victuuri, we gather from the fact that Yuuri wanted to retire just to let Victor come back. Pragma is about the tolerance, and patience and sacrifices people have to make an relationship last long. Yuuri may have wanted to break up, but still it's kind of like an sacrifice, I'm not so sure about this one. Also I think victor came back, an compromise he made to make their relationship last long. So, yeah pragma also define them.

Philautia, or love of the self

The Greek’s sixth variety of love was philautia or self-love. And clever Greeks such as Aristotle realized there were two types. One was an unhealthy variety associated with narcissism, where you became self-obsessed and focused on personal fame and fortune. This is JJ. He loves Himself. One form of Philautia is that, you have to love yourself, in order to Love others. So JJ's charecter loves Himself a lot, that we can all understand from his famous "It's JJ style" but this also doesn't mean he dosent love others. For him, self love is first, for him you have to love yourself in order to Love others.

Hey Everyone!

This is Part 2 of my Review on Yuri On ICE ships.

For part 1

But before starting i have another thing to say, these reactions or reviews on the 'OTPs' are entirely my opinion. My opinions may not match with you, so don't please spread Hate on Me, if some of my opinions are different than yours. Thank you :)

5) Victor Nikiforov and Yuri Plitesky (Victurio) or ( just Father!Victor and Son!Yuri)

Rating: 1/10 (if you consider it as a romantic OTP)

9/10 (for father and son relationship between them)

So, i don't really See them as a romantic Pair, first of all because of their age difference. Victor is like so many years older than him. He is like a brother figure or a father figure to him. I can't really see them as a Romantic OTP.

But for the Father-son Relationship, yes I can say that , this role fits them both Amazingly. For me, yuri kind of sees victor as a guiding figure, a parental figure. So yeah, that's it for this ship.

6) Yuuri and Yurio (YuuYu) or (Father!Yuuri and son!Yurio)

Rating: 1/10 (if you consider it as a romantic OTP)

9/10 (for father and son relationship between them)

Just like I said for the victor and Yuri Ship, I can't really see them in any kind of relationship other than The relationship between a father and son.

Please read the review on the above ship, as I think the exactly same thing about this one too.

7) Yuuri and Phichit

Rating: 2/10 as OTP

And 8.9/10 as Platonic Relationship

For these two, well Phichit and Yuuri don't click together. They have a bond as best friends, and Phichit is kind of like Yuuri's WingMan, but other than that, No. They don't really Click as a Couple. But As best friends I'll give them 8, cause they fit that role Amazingly. I'd kill to have a best friend like Phichit.

8) Chris and Yuuri

Rating: 1.5/10

I can't really see these two as a couple. Cause Chris is Really kind of Bold in you know that way, while Yuuri here is shy always (well except for when he is drunk). So, yeah these two also don't really Click together for me. They are better of as Friends or Colleagues or Best Friends.
