Please may I have a Blue exorcist headcanon of Rin Okumura with a female S/O (she is a highly skilled exorcist and Rin's childhood friend too) who can speak to the dead and see them..it was probably due to the fact that her father is the grim reaper. S/O mainly found it heartbreaking sometimes when the ghost is often a child who died in a car when a train hit it or a soldier didn't realise he was dead and so on..but she helps them move on, helps victim's families move on from the pain..S/O knows that every family member suffered differently..People thought she was weird..talking to thin air but S/O was talking to the dead.

Yukio's relationship with Rin's girlfriend too and what would he think of her ability to speak and see the dead.

If you try to keep your powers or heritage secret from him, he will trust you even less. However, if you’re open about these things, his respect for you will rise.

He knows it’s not easy revealing these sorts of things to people, especially when you don’t know how they will react. As a result, he will also defend you should people comment on your seemingly strange behaviour.

Thinks you’re a good partner for Rin, especially if you’re more on the quiet side. He hopes your empathetic and people pleasing tendencies will rub off on his brother and help mellow him out a bit.

I like, wish Western aoex fans would take some time and research about how religion is in Japan. Especially how christianity is viewed and practiced there. Because it's a very different thing both culturally and base level than how things go in the west. Shintoism and Buddhism is an incredibly big part of Japan's culture, but it's not in the same way as how Christianity and other western religions are for the USA or other countries.

I mean it's cool to see people want to do things, but I don't think they realize that it's going to be a very different interpretation. I personally don't even think Shiro raised the twins christian. There's nothing in canon other than they grew up in the monastery to imply it. It felt more to me they started the place to have a good cover for the twins than it actually being a legit thing.

Heck it even looked like Shiro took the boys to shrines for new years. That's kind of a important part of Japanese culture and a big tradition. I personally don't think a catholic priest raising two kids would be taking them to a Shinto Shrine to do the New Years tradition.

It's also funny whenever this comes up because no one mentions Yukio in this. It's always Rin lol

I have this idea that when Yukio goes to do an internship to be a doctor and, assuming that he continues to live with Rin, Yukio will walk back home in the middle of the night and he'll just see Rin all crazy on the opposite sidewalk, going from a bar to another party.

I can imagine Rin yelling at Yukio that he left food ready for him and just heat it up. Yukio doesn't understand how he can have so much energy at 2 in the morning when he's practically so tired that he's dying.

Please may I have a Blue exorcist headcanons Platonic of when Rin and Yukio somehow ended up having to watch you, permanently (young female reader demon rabbit who took on the form of a little girl..she isn't much older than five if people took one look at her but she's actually older than that and she had the resemblance of Usumaro *the little boy from the Blue exorcist movie* and she is generally his female version..she is actually..Usumaro's little sister and the history was that she was given the rule to make sure that he didn't cause harm but obviously he did it behind her back when he erased the bad memories of the villagers and you can restore bad memories or important ones in that case) and you didn't really like Yukio and you were either so quiet you refused to respond or you just caused him trouble for the sake of it..you actually bit him when he tried putting you in a cage like an animal..you started being nicer when he actually treated you with respect like how you wanted to be respected..you didn't like being treated like a pest..it was cruel. You were really sweet when you were able to be more like a kid despite the type of demon you were..you loved Rin's cooking and You spoke in third person..you were on edge because people could potentially use you as an advantage to make people go through bad things (like making a child go through the trauma of losing her parents again in a car accident). You somehow make flowers bloom around you when you are happy too..

Fandom: Blue Exorcist

Characters: Rin Okumura and Yukio Okumura x young! rabbit demon! gn! Reader (platonic)

Rin is honestly a little surprised that people trust him enough to look after a kid. But at the same time, he’s one of the few people who can really connect with a demon so he supposes it makes sense.

Thinks you’re so funny when you ignore Yukio or cause problems for him, especially since Yukio does kind of deserve it.

Loves cooking for you! He thinks it’s great when people eat his cooking for enjoyment as well as just because they’re hungry. He enjoys listening to you compliment his food and if flowers start blooming due to your enjoyment, he’ll be over the moon.

Rin finds it sad that you’re always so on edge but understands why you’re like that. People are always after him for his powers as well so he can understand what you’re going through.

Yukio is not pleased when he finds out he has to care for a demon child. He already has to deal with Rin on a daily basis. He really doesn’t have time to deal with another person he has to care for.

It also doesn’t help that you’re not exactly making it easy for him. But as soon as he realises your behaviour is directly linked to how he treats you, he’ll try to be nicer.

The longer he knows you, the more protective he is of you. He knows you’re on edge a lot due to your fear of your powers being used by the wrong people so he’ll do whatever he can to make you feel safe.

He likes seeing flowers bloom around you when you’re feeling joyful. It’s a visual representation that he’s doing the right thing in making you happy.

BLUE EXORCIST HEADCANONS

some generic Brain Thoughts™ about one of my favorite animes

Rin uses sugar cookie chapstick

Bon's favorite flower is the Giant Teddybear Sunflower. He'll mever admit it to anyone, not even on his death bed, but its what originally inspired his iconic blond mohawk

Shima is a huge disco fan. He's great at dancing- tho he'll never admit it- and there are multiple instances of him being caught dancing when hes by himself. He loves the fashion, and if he had the coordination to roller skate he'd never leave the rink

Konekomaru and Rin are both nonbinary and use they/he pronouns

Izumo likes punk/rock music and can play the guitar and drums

Shima and Shiemi like to watch anime together. They both love romance, slice-of-life, and magic girl animes

Yukio is fluent in English, Latin, and Portugese

Rin is a good at scrapping, as we all know, and once he starts taking his Knight classes he learns muay thai (and is also very good at it)

Shima has dyscalculia

Konekomaru loves pillows. His bed is absolutzly covered them, with one blanket that barely covers him on top of it all

Headcanon: You know how kittens kittens meow really loudly for their mom if she's not there? What if that's similar to why Rin is so loud? Like young demon's are instinctually aggressive because they have to establish themselves in the pecking order, but what if they also call like super loudly to their parents like a long distance form of marco polo. Like how Rin and Kuro yell to each other a lot. And Yukio is was always quieter because he wasn't born with any demon features.

How would Yukio Okumura get along with Al Elric

MY TWO WORDS COLLIDING??? FUCK YES

Funnier if the Okumura ends up in FMAB

Edward and Al are just chilling after a long day

Edward is reading books and doing his researches

Alphonse is either coocking or just there, in silence watching over his brother when...

...the door opens and two very unfamiliar guests are in the room

The two couple of brothers look at one another confused

Rin and Yukio are confused because the key Mephisto gave them was supposed to send back to Cram School but no.

The Elric brothers are as confused as the strangers because who are they? And why are they wearing weird uniforms?

After the first seconds of confusion Ed is ready to fight

One touch at the ground and his weapon is ready

Okumura twins being schoked once again

Rin is excited about that though

Shining eyes and he WANTS TO KNOW HOW THAT HAPPENED RIGHT NOW

Asks a lot of questions

Like a lot A LOT

Yukio is trying to stop Rin but is useless

In the mean time Alphones doesn't know what to do

Should he attack them? Talk to them?

He goes with option number two. What a mistake

Yukio is like "WHO IN GEHENNA JUST TALKED???" with guns in hand

Doesn't get it is the armor, why would he?

Rin is ready to fight too this time

But again when Alphonse talks again showing himself Rin is EXCITED

Even more than when the other dude got a weapon from the ground

Infinite question round two starts

Now, once everyone had calmed down they are trying to understand what happened but both sides come up with...

Nothing.

They might as well spend some time toghether but first, what is that amazing smell that fills Rin's nostrils?

Alphonse and Rin will bond over cooking

Yukio and Edward... over knowledge?

Ed, would still have his guard up and so Yukio

It would take some time for them to loosen up but they might at the end of the day

Edward would let Yukio read throught his books

Yukio would 100% asks where the demons at

Edward is tempted to call Mustang and ask him for the closest asylum

Ed: So, how is your's guys relationship?

Yukio: I pointed a gun at him. I blamed him for our dad's death. Sided against him when his classmates found out his biological dad is Satan. Joined an association after they tried to kill us and our friends.

Rin: Nothing too big

Edward&Alphonse: 🤨

Rin: what about you guys?

Ed: I gave up an arm to get him back, didn't go as planned but at least his soul is back

Rin&Yukio: ...

They would not get into more details about their brotherhood because they are so different is akward

During dinner Rin and Edward would be fighting over who gets the last piece and the youngest would be like "there is more?"

More chattie chatt after dinner

More mind blowing revelations

"what do you mean Satan wants to conquer the world?"

"No, you what do you mean people are getting killed to bring God back?"

If they aren't send back to their world and have to sleep over Rin would asks to sleep on Alphonse

You read that right. ON ALPHONSE

He wants to try and sleep on a human armor

Spoilers, is not that comfy but it was an experience

If Mephisto comes within the day to save them the brothers would excange some of their items so they can remember that day (read Rin and Al would do that because Yukio and Ed find it pointless)

Rin would talk about the interaction like non stop

Yukio is more chill when asked about it

Edward would think about the twins every now and then

Alphonse has "missing the Okumura twins hour" every now and then
