Propaganda Under the Cut:
Caitlin:
Focusing mostly on the sleepyheadedness- She could've made her room in the Elite Four circle anything, and she chose to have the comfiest looking bed ever in there. She is also always in what looks like a nightgown, and her first response to you coming in is basically "who decided to wake me up and for what". Her art when first entering battle is also her yawning. One of her Pokemon is Musharna, known to be connected to dreams.
Dreaming Nemleria:
Their entire playstyle is about sleeping. First you get her to the top of the extra deck (which acts as a bed), and once the entire extra deck is empty, she wakes up (is special summoned to the field). She also has an army of dream monsters defending her, like a hound made of omelettes and a waffle dragon.

MOD'S CHOICE POLL!
This will be a collection of characters that I, the Mod, really enjoyed. I left Ella of Frell (Ella Enchanted) off the list due to the fact that she is in the finals and I thought it wouldn't be fair to put her against the rest of these characters, many of which lost early on.

Mod's propaganda under the cut:
Vasilisa the Beautiful:
Okay I loved this story so much when I was in middle and high school. Like a lot of people I knew I had a "Russian" phase where I became briefly obsessed with Russian history and mythology between the ages of 13 and 16. Vasilisa the Beautiful was by far my favorite "Cinderella variant" (though it feels weird to have called a lot of these fairytales regional variants throughout the tournament, I didn't know what else to call them) and as a teenager I read a few YA books that functioned as Vasilisa retellings. But none of them are as good as the original tale. It's such a banger and you should read it if you haven't already!
Eun Ha Won:
I don't have much to say about this one. Someone I knew really liked it so I put it on here in honor of her. Seems cute tho.
Yasmin as Cinderella:
I said this for the Mod's poll for Red Riding Hood, but as a child when visiting Pakistan I watched this movie HUNDREDS OF TIMES on a bootleg DVD, so many times that I think I wrecked the DVD. A childhood favorite!
Cinderella / Prinzessin:
As some of you know due to the fact that I am the mod of @yugipoll, I am a Yu-Gi-Oh fan! Watched it as a kid, somehow still am rewatching it to this very day. And she was such a great card! I loved her so much and she's so cute and pretty!!! I also like the arc that she's in, the KC Grand Championship is easily the best filler arc and I really like Ziegfried and Leon. Where are my Yu-Gi-Oh fans?
Hatsune Miku as Cinderella:
It's Hatsune Miku. Do you need any propaganda? Miku Miku.
Mary Santiago:
Not only is this one of my favorite teen comedies, but it's still one of my favorite movies even now. I have no idea why! Like I cannot tell you why I am so fond of this movie! Maybe it's because of the childhood nostalgia! Maybe it's because of Selena Gomez (extension of childhood nostalgia)! Maybe it's the fact I am fond of the late 2000s. But it's so good! Tell Me Something I Don't Know is one of the bops of all time!!!!
Harper Finkle as "Harperella":
Extension of the last one, but I have a lot of Selena Gomez nostalgia because of how much I loved Wizards of Waverly Place. She's not a big part of this episode, but I love and am nostalgic for Jennifer Stone as Harper just as much. I don't know why this episode stuck in my head so much, when it's one of the very last episodes of the entire show, but I feel like when I think of Cinderella retellings in a non-fairytale show, this is what I think of. The fact that there's a magic book that when you read it you have to play the story and that some of the pages ripped out and got mixed up... I really liked that!

"Your knight is calling, milady. Shall I prepare the usual traps?"
Arias The Labrynth Butler, at your service!
Finally got around to doing another digital art piece -- after I saw the Yu-Gi-Oh OCG reveal Arias as an upcoming card for the Labrynth archetype, I couldn't resist making some art of her, haha

You know it's funny I was deck building the other day and I wondered what Lavalval Chain and Tempest Magician did to get banned.
I've also been obsessed with Blue Blooded Oni since I first laid eyes on it since I just KNEW it was capable of doing something great even though I'd never heard anyone use it ever.
TURNS OUT. Blue Blooded Oni had a pretty consistent FTK that involved both of those cards. So as disappointed as I am that I cannot do this absolutely convuluted monstrosity of a combo to FTK with a monster I'm obsessed with I am at least glad to know that it has definitely reached its potential before and was acknowledged for its power.

Neo, now with company, arrived at the third place marked on Dr. Crowley’s map. Vidya had been insistent on helping, and since Neo needed all the help he could get (turns out copying the powers of animals he touches isn’t the best for combat), he agreed. The second location was an empty parking lot, which, while suspicious, didn’t seem to have any type of demonic activity. Now they were down by the piers, which were, apparently, highly magical. Neo both hoped and feared to find one of the demons they were searching for. And, lo and behold, they did. Standing beside an open... wait, was that a casket? Standing beside an open casket was what appeared to be a knight in heavy armor, who, furthermore, appeared to be draining something from the casket. Why was there a casket? Neo turned to his traveling companion. “How should we do this?”
“Well, he doesn’t seem very fiery. That means my power might work better on him than the last one.”
“I’m not sure. We don’t know what would happen if we burnt a demon”
“Good point. How about I distract him while you rush in and smack him with the staff? I’m good at distractions, it’s always my job in war games.”
“War games?!”
“’Deva likes to play war games. I’m not as interested, but it’s pretty fun,” responded Vidya, not thinking this would need much, if any, explanation. Neo thought to himself.
“Ok then. You grab his attention, and I’ll... smack him.”
“Good plan!” saying this, Vidya rushed forwards, here eye and hands ablaze, screaming. It was a very interesting scream. The knight-like demon took the bait and drew it’s sword, swinging at Vidya and missing as she jumped to the side.
“Oooo, lightning sword. Nice.” Vidya released a jet of fire aimed towards the creature’s feet. Now surrounded by dark flames, the demon pointed its sword to the sky, summoning a miniature storm to put out the flames. This was a bad idea. The thing about Vidya’s magical flames was that they couldn’t be extinguished by water or by wind. The only force capable of extinguishing them was the will of their wielder. Or, more accurately, lack of will, as the flames tended to fizzle out when Vidya didn’t consciously think of them. Now, though? Now she was very much thinking of them. The storm may not have succeded in extinguishing the fire, but it did manage to spread it. The rafters were now inflamed.
“Ok,” Vidya began mumbling to herself. “Ok I can figure this out. If I keep the fire going, the rafters will burn and this place will collapse. If I stop them, the demon is free, and the distraction didn’t work. Ok. ok ok ok ok ok ok-”
“Hey!” Vidya was broken out of the start of a spiral by Neo. “you can put the flames out now, I have a plan. Trust me”. Nodding, Vidya nodded, willing the flames to extinguish themselves. Neo reached into his pocket, grabbing a pinch of dolphin skin. Blue and Pink colored his hair and eyes, and small fins seemed to erupt from his wrists. He looked up at a rafter and screamed. His sonic scream was weak, about a tenth the strength of a normal shove. However, it was enough. The rafter fell, knocking the knight-like demon to the ground. Then, Neo leapt forward with the staff, smacking the demon and banishing it. “Ok. Now that that’s over, we can get going and- Vidya why are you looking inside the casket?”
“Just curious. I mean, what could be in here that would make this place a magic hotspot. It’s gotta be something- oh.”
“What? what is it? Come on, don’t keep me in suspense!”
“It’s... a person.”
