oo snowkit becomes snowcarve?

He does!

In StarClan, you can use the names and appearance that you could have had, if you died young. It's very rare that you get permakits or permapprentices. I lifted from the COTC story about Smallstar and his siblings.

(Though, in BB those kits actually survive and it's MAPLESHADE’S kits who lead to the law on protecting children, Darkstar's Commandment, the Queen’s Rights. Smallstar is the leader of WindClan and xey're super chill. Xey own a lovely shawl.)

So Snowkit chooses to appear as Snowcarve, an Honor Title he would have earned for the creation of a full written Clan cat language, expanded from the simple glyphs. I'm not sure if he's a popular patron, but I do know that Bramble and Tawny invoke him sometimes.

Unfortunately though he's more invoked for general guidance by the two of them, not for possibilities like I think he'd like. He watches over them though, like a guardian angel. A lot of cats secretly have those.

I'm not sure who he follows around more often though. I think he LIKES following Tawny more because she's a better listener to his omens. But he feels like Bramble NEEDS him more, y'know?

Also notably, Snowcarve was technically their uncle, but the relationship is best described as "1st cousin." Rabnir in Clanmew, a familial role about somewhat distant but parallel growth, seen also with Brightpaw and Swiftpaw.

Frieren is good, because I want so much to know more about Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen and I can just /feel/ how there’s more there about them that we haven’t gotten to/may never know.

And it makes me want to shake Frieren to a degree cause I’m like “ten years! Ten years! Sixteen with Heiter! You know more about your friends than you think, tell me! You must and if you don’t- Look harder! Ask more! How did they live and love in those 50, 70 years you were separated??? PLEASE, I want more time with them these small glimpses aren’t enough!”

Which is, of course, the whole point.

I'm happy that so many young queer ppl are realizing they're not straight but also like, when they say they're queer (or whatever they say in their own wack purist way 😭) and then start defining shit and policing other ppl, acting like they have a say it's just kinda like. like....how did you use it to accomplish what you did? whats the point of giving us a tool with no instructions on using it? am i just needy???? are we just supposed to pick up on it? are we just supposed to futz around with it and hopefully produce something we like despite probably never figuring out how to use it as the original creator intended??? is that how art is?

My mom, fresh off of finishing s4, telling me all about how Mike really DOES love Eleven, he’s just being a stupid teenager who doesn’t know how to express that.

Me, buzzing with the power of 1,000 Bylers despite not even really shipping Byler, about to explain that SURE, Mike does care about her, but also all about Mike’s issues with his self-image, growing up, how he’s a counterpart to Joyce s1, the superhero thing, how both Mike and El don’t have good communication skills and how they both need to grow more before I, the supervisor of all of my ST children, can allow them to be in a relationship of any kind.

This “conversation” WILL end in tears and confusion from both parties. My dad and I have spent so many hours driving around dismantling the entire show. I’ve spent years analyzing it. I know what I’m talking about Lesley and I’m coming for Mileven in cold blood.

I feel like she's a creature in flux, really - some days she thinks of herself as a hopeless monster-in-the-making, and some days she feels more like her old self - just a young woman trying to get by in a lonely, dog-eat-dog world! She's trying to be a relatively good person, and tries to 'offset' the bad she does, but... she's chaotic! In flux! Maybe one day she'll figure out who she really is and what she wants out of life.

How do they want to be seen by others?

I don't think she knows, yet. She's trying on different hats! But the main one she's been trying on is 'The witty, edgy wallflower'... because what else can you be when you're half a demon? But if she can glamour her horns away for a bit, she feels a little better about being more up front and friendly and approachable, because... she feels like those are a big stain on her, or something? Like people see demon horns, and immediately assume the worst - and maybe it's because she used to be a paladin, and so she remembers how much she did - and still does - hate demons, herself. In reality, she'd just like to be perceived as she is - a chill, loyal friend. She's young, and would prefer to be carefree, and seen as as much, but life didn't pass her that ball. (But she's a lot more laid back than even she will admit - she just worries a lot.)

What is their life motto?

Do people generally have those? I mean, there's a few 'phrases to live by' that the various men she looked up to and learned from taught her - things about surviving against all odds, how it's always fair to cheat... and 'Once crew, always crew.' A lot of lessons about loyalty and enduring strife. ...from people who abandoned her in her moment of strife.
