hc that every time (which was a lot. like a Lot) crowley missed aziraphale through the centuries but couldn't seek him out cause there wasn't really reason for him to he would just go to any event or place (like aziraphale's fav museum or play) he knew azi would be there at and just like stare at him from across the room. oh everyone's watching shakespeare's new play? crowley is right there at the very back (aziraphale is in the first row of course) doing nothing but staring a hole on aziraphale's head then walking out few minutes before the play ends so he wouldn't be seen. a new restaurant with aziraphale's favorite foods just opened? crowley is right there, hiding behind a piano and silently pining over the angel who's absolutely beaming and spreading love by just existence in a room with all his joy. a book signing by victor hugo or smth? crowley is behind a magazine watching the joy on aziraphale's face as he gets to shake the writers hand. crowley is dangerously close to melting to the floor. and this goes on and on until crowley is basically in every single place aziraphale is when he's not doing evil shit. just lurking lurkily. aziraphale never notices any of it.

I was scrolling through my feed like the newspaper and I saw that you self-reblogged that ask I sent you in like May or whatever, the one where you replied with the silly crying face. So, sorry to bring corny hour back around, but I wanted you to know that everything I said still rings true. Your art still brings me so much joy even though I am kind of falling out of RGG right now, and I am so glad that my silly message sparked a bit of outpouring of love from the community. Even as I drift away from what originally brought me to find your work, I look forward to see what you create.
(Also, this is only slightly related, but your talking about trans Masato the other day has been making me so happy as well. Hope that guy explodes or something.)
OG ANON MY BEST FRIEND....... HELLO.....
i think i made my sentiment clear at this point buuuut ill say it again and TRULY HONESTLY thank you for what you said then And Now, it really is stuff like that that pulls me outta my Imposter Syndrome days and makes me a bit more confident in what i do. im glad i can make stuff people get joy outta lookin at (or anguish, depends on the phase of the moon) :']
even if you arent into rgg as you were initially, im glad that i was able to make stuff you really enjoyed at the time !!
and i hope masato explodes too <3

I know it's been quite some time since I first posted please don't be mad only about 6 months girl but who's counting and I know a lot of you have been heavily requesting a sequel.
i've been working on this for quite awhile, taking y'all's feedback & ideas into consideration, & trying to create a follow up that y'all really wanted & would be happy with. i've re-written it about seven times, gone over it about a thousand, and tweaked it until I honestly couldn't stand to look at it anymore. that being said, I am pretty excited to say that it is finally coming.
I will give you a lil snippet (just a baby one, I don't wanna give it all away) for being so patient.
All of his words still echoed in the back of your mind, but so did his actions. The promise of marriage was eclipsed by the cherry lip stain on his collar. The prospect of a family was diluted by the scent of an expensive perfume that didn’t belong to you. The vow of faith and love was broken by yet another lie.
see you next week. ;)

Poll adventure (paventure? lol) Day 9: read the small story tidbit below the poll for more details, OR just vote based on initial impression
(✦ see past poll results + further information HERE (link) ✦)
Yesterday's poll helped The Adventurer build his raft...
"After two hours of fumbling about with tangled rope and tree branches, he's finally produced something that at least.. mostly, looks like a normal raft. He attaches a few extra flowers for decoration, loops his cat into a makeshift safety harness (so they can't get lost in the water), then gives everything one last check before deciding it's all ready to go, nervously pushing off into the river...
Surprisingly, it floats just fine. As long as he doesn't make any sudden movements, the raft doesn't threaten to flip over, or even wobble nearly as much as he expected. There's no way to really steer or paddle, but he does have a large stick he occasionally uses to push himself away from rocks or other obstacles. Luckily, the current is very slow at this section of the river, and hopefully will remain so for his entire trip.
Just lazily floating around, he estimates he should travel about 4 hours to fully get past the blocked road and end up at the next area on his map. Though the raft is too small (and too lumpy) to comfortably lay on, he can still recline slightly, bathing in the near afternoon sun, watching the scenery slowly drift by....
About 30 minutes into his first ever sailing adventure, he feels the water shift as a larger boat comes near. He can't see it clearly yet, but it seems to be nice - polished wood with painted sections and little flags draped along the sides, presumably some sort of actual steering and propelling mechanisms, and about 10 people lounging on the surface, maybe having some sort of party..? It's been very quiet so far, these are the first other travelers he's seen in the entire area today... Should he attempt to make contact with them? "
--------
Additional details -
Boat Make-up : Based on the results of the last poll (where people helped him make a boat by choosing the amount of materials) -- With 30% branches and 21% rope, there's only a 9% difference between them, so both are in pretty close amounts, which means there's a TON of rope. (normal ratio would be like 65% wood and 10% rope lol). I probably should have even added more, but it's so visually busy, just pretend there's extra rope wrapped under the boat too.
30% branch and 15% fabric means there's about half as much fabric as there is wood, which is also A LOT for just a little side decoration, so I made the flag huge, and a square of fabric for the cat to sit on. 10% berries means that there's enough ink for 1/3 of the wood to be entirely covered in purple designs. The least amount was the twigs and leaves for padding, which would cover a little under 1/3 of the wood (laid on top). then a little over 1/3 of the space is flowers for decor, which are just kind of sitting in a pile on top, with a few actually tied down onto the flag or other areas.
Since the branches were pretty close in percentage to all other things (not like 80% branches and 20% all other materials), the raft is fairly small, as not much wood was used.
main goal: follow his map to reach the abandoned castle ruins and see the rare animal specialist about the mysterious egg he has

I envy people who can write in modern settings. You look at this mess of a world and see it for all of its wonderful and terrible things and say “yeah, I can do something with this.” And then you create beautiful stories out of it.
Y’all are so cool. I love it.

what if you banged out three pretty good arcs back to back, finally getting rid of that one character you don't like very much in the process, and then as soon as you were out of easy callback material to that first really good arc, you started writing a series of largely unrelated battles connected by rules that are both overcomplicated and flimsy, populated by characters that are irrelevant, underutilised, or both, in a setting that completely nukes a bunch of the ideas you were originally trying to explore. what then
