of course, like any other version of him, this one would be very cautious and closed off at first. he wouldn’t share much with you and if he does it’s brief, but after you ‘prove yourself’ to him he immediately becomes attached to you. he's absolutely stuck by you. you're just his assistant but he falls hard. harder than he ever has.

Summary: In this universe, Welcome Home characters come to the real world and it takes place in the show's recording studio. I came up with this idea after seeing so many alternate Welcome Home universes and it inspired me to make my own. And I hope you like this universe that I created.

🔴 In trade, puppets were just lifeless and soulless puppets, just characters from a children's program, but as the program was new, it didn't have much audience ( in fact, almost zero audience ) or studio to make the best footage and much less sponsors , the recordings were made in such a small room in some shed that it is stuffy on the hottest days, with the cheapest materials to make the scenery and the characters.

🔴 The puppeteers were common people with no experience or almost nothing, they are close friends of the creator who helped his friend realize his dream in his spare time for free.

🔴 So because of that, the Welcome Home Program only aired a few times a week at cheaper times on little-known channels, with that the program would be canceled even before they became famous.

🔴 Creator Ronald Dorelaine, desperate and determined to make his creations recognized, started doing everything to make his dreams come true, taking out loans, doing favors for dubious people, even selling everything he had, but none of that helped the program. And because of these problems your friends are losing hope in this project, so in the midst of despair and a little hope your last solution was the occult and alchemy.

🔴 Where Dorelaine managed to make a pact with some entity where they would give him everything he wanted ( fame and recognition ) with the price he would pay later, with that Welcome Home became famous overnight, the characters seemed so alive and real for everyone who watched and always made you want to never stop watching.

🔴 A few months later... With the fame of Welcome Home, Dorelaine got what she wanted most and much more than she imagined, and with that she had so much but there came a time when she wanted more than the current studio and the fame he already had ( he wanted more ). So, when the first season of Welcome Home ended, Dorelaine announced to the media his new project to build a studio big enough where he could have the exact replica of the small village of Welcome Home to be able to make everything better/perfect as he said, a place so big and vast that even the employees managed to live there.

🔴 But everything had unforeseen events during the creation of the studio, many construction workers had freak accidents causing lifelong injuries, but Dorelaine managed and paid the media and police of the time and even employees to forget about these unwanted accidents.

🔴 Other than that, the new studio was finished, and with that some employees and the creator himself started to live there. So, everything was ready, the puppeteers, the voice actors and the entire studio team were ready to start recording the second season of Welcome Home with all the best and most modern equipment they had at the time and with the puppets so well detailed and redone that seemed to have come out of the drawings themselves. But what Dorelaine didn't expect is that the same entity that made her dream come true came to collect the debt from him, and he didn't like it and refused to do what the entity wanted, and somehow with the knowledge that Dorelaine had he managed to arrest the entity, of course this made the entity furious and vengeful, promising before they were arrested and expelled where they came from, pain and suffering for everyone around him and for him.

🔴 For a while, everything went well for Deloraine again, but what Deloraine didn't count on is that little by little strange things were happening in her recording studio.

🔴 The employees reported the lack of food ( especially the apples were disappearing ), some employees felt that they were being watched while handling or preparing the scenery for the episodes, drawings or messages were found, but what scared the employees the most was the final sadness from the employee who voices Wally, that somehow the spotlight fell on him. As a result, some employees resigned out of fear, claiming that the building was cursed or haunted.

🔴 In the moments before the entity was imprisoned in its last moments of freedom, they awakened the protagonist of the show and his home, but as the entity did not have enough strength and time, they were unable to influence and control their creations to be able to bring them back or revenge them for what Dorelaine did to them.

i’m pretty sure this is canon but when i first saw it i had to expand on it more. he would call you things like: pretty thing, beautiful/beauty, gorgeous. nice words like that. he wouldn’t use ‘vulgar’ words like ‘hot or sexy’ to describe you. too unimaginative.

loves the feeling of your skin on his. you’re so warm and soft against him and he loves it. doesn’t even mind if you have body hair, even if that would be a bit weird to other people. it just adds onto you and he would find it immature if someone else complained. touch starved as well. being alone for so long does that to people. he just loves physical contact with you in general.

would definitely do things the old fashioned way. he would mail you a love letter and hope you get it with baited breath. if you say yes then expect him to stumble over his words all while trying to keep his composure. if you ask him who delivered it to your mail box, he would say eddie.

he would brag to barnaby about you. since he believes that the dolls hes made of his dear neighbors are real and listening he would sit barnaby down while you’re away and brag to him about you. sometimes barnaby responds. maybe one day he’d allow you and him to meet?

definitely possessive. doesn’t like to see his pretty thing wander far from him. even of he has to keep you in the dollhouse himself, he’ll do it if he needs to. he’d hate to see you get hurt, and the world is harsh and cruel out there. it would be best for you to stay with him…completely…forever. where you’re safe.

sometimes spends moments of you two spending time together just…staring at you. he loves the way you look. your hair, your eyes, the way your face crinkles up when you smile. it all makes him lightheaded and fuzzy. if he made a doll of you he would show you with pride and point out all the fine details that he captured of you, even the ones you haven’t noticed.

doesn’t like it when you see his ‘cracks’ or flaws. he would like to appear to you as flawless as fresh porcelain, but unfortunately sometimes you make him just a tad too emotional and he starts to show his true colors. he just hopes you don’t hate him or think bad of him. you’re the first visitor he’s had since the others abandoned him…he really would love for you two to be together for as long as possible.

makes you small gifts all the time. really is an arts and crafts kind of guy. he loves seeing your face light up when he gives you dolls or other things he’s made by hand. he also does embroidery and makes doilies. tends to do it when you’re away to pass the time until you come back. he would try and teach you how to do it too.

on the flip side, if you gave him a gift— well he’d just melt. he wouldn’t know what to do. even the smallest gift would send him into a flurry of “oh neighbors” and “i love you”s. he would tear up a bit and immediately put it somewhere where he can see it anytime he wants to. it would be precious to him, no matter how well made.

isolation breed abandonment issues. he wouldn’t like you leaving his side that much, and if you do he would wait patiently until you get back. he isn’t the kind of guy to set a curfew, as you’re your own person and an adult but he would definitely expect you to be back before nightfall at least.

would allow you to call him ‘dolly’, simply because it amuses him.

doesn’t sleep that well and has trouble sleeping, he usually spends that time alone but when you’re around he likes to watch you sleep. he stands over you with his arms folded behind his back, or sits on your bed and watches over you as you snooze along. he’d brush your hair out of your face, or whisper to you as you sleep. things he would probably never say to you if you were awake. he’d also take that time to study your face more closely for his doll of you. more time to look at you the better. you look so peaceful and it brings his heart joy to know you’re here with him, and safe. if you’d allow him, he would love to cuddle you while you sleep and would do the same either way.

these were just silly little ideas i brewed up! i’ve been having real bad brainrot of dollhouse ever since i saw him and i haven’t really seen that much content of him around and that’s a shame because his design is absolutely incredible.

Summary: Wally enjoys watching you as you watch him. And after years of watching you, he can't wait for you to join him and all his neighbors, but those pesky 'parents' or whatever you call them are still standing in his way.

"Mom, Mom look at this!" You point towards the tv, catching your mother's attention.

She looked towards the tv and cringed. She hated those weird puppets. They always just seem to give her a weird vibe, like they were watching her, judging her. She grabbed the remote, "How about you watch something else?" The yellow puppet, Wally, quickly disappeared as another show captured your attention. You didn't mind as long as something kept you entertained.

Though as soon as your mother left, Welcome Home turned back on.

"Kill her, Y/n. Kill your mother."

I can't do that Wally."

"Why not?"

"She's my mom, Wally."

He rubbed his chin, almost as if he was in thought before he smiled a Grinch-Like Smile. "Bring her to watch the show. Show her how great we are-"

"Oh, Wally I don't know. Mom wouldn't like that."

"I'm sure she'll love it as much as I love you..."

But your mother didn't like it. In fact, you watched as your mother was eaten and you screamed as she disappeared.

"What happened Wally?" But you were knocked out. Since you hadn't realized that Wally had slowly crawled out of the screen.

He stood over your unconscious body, smiling to himself. "Oh, Y/n, you're going to love the neighborhood."

-🍎🔪 One moment you were just watching Welcome Home and the next you where in Welcome Home, now just like any sane person you started to freak out when all of a sudden you heard a familiar voice. -🍎🔪 You quickly turned around to see the short, blue spiral haired puppet staring at you with the biggest smile on his face, he offered you his hand and somehow pulled you up from the ground and intruduced himself as Wally Darling, even though you knew that you played along. -🍎🔪 After Wally intruduced you to all the neighbours and Home he brought you inside Home saying that you can stay with him and Home while they your.....house....would be getting built..... -🍎🔪 Lets just say even though you loved Welcome Home you did not want to stay here forever I mean, you have a family! a life! but right now you have no idea of getting back home so you just agreed to stay with Wally until your house gets built. A lot of time went past, you stayed with Wally even though you were meant to have a house but you never questioned that, your main focus was getting out of this place but that was way harder than you thought, with Wally never leaving your side and always seeming to be staring at you until one day. You were just sitting inside Home on the couch when wally came up to you smiling with a small tint of blush? you smiled at him "hey Wally! whats up?" he looked up and smiled at you "hello neighbour! I have something to tell you" you looked confused while staring down at him and nodded telling him to continue "well neighbour, I have had this growing feeling ever sense we met! and I just wanted to say, I love you and I want you to be my boyfriend" you froze, confused and concerned I mean, you never saw Wally in a romantic way and was never one for romantic relationships, you swallowed and sighed looking down at him "i'm really sorry Wally but I don't see you in a romantic way, I also never wanted to be in a romantic relationship" you said feeling guilty at the hurt look on his face but it soon turned happy "oh! thats okay dear! we can be in a platonic relationship" you shook your head and started to get up "neighbour? were are you going?" Wallys panicked voice asked "I'm sorry Wally but I need to find a way to leave" After you said the word leave everything went silent, than "leave? leave?! no no no no neighbour! darling! you can't leave! your meant to stay here with me! with Home! with everyone! what do you mean leave?!" Wally erupted into panic and anger, why would you leave him? wasn't he nice enough? good enough? no....no you were NOT leaving him "Home....lock the door" you froze as the door slammed shut, as soon as the shock left you ran to the door and tried to open it but it didn't budge "Home? Home open the door please....Wally what the fuck is going on" you screamed turning around to see him infront of you, you backed up as far as you could from him "darling please, I can't let you leave me, i'm sorry for this darling, I hope you could forgive me" Wally smiled while staring at you when everything went black. You slowly woke up confused when you remembered what just happened, you tried to more but your arms were tied down with black vines? you didn't know what they were but at that moment you didn't care, all you cared about was leaving this place and running as far as you could from this neighbourhood. But than you heard him "your awake! I hope Home didn't hit you too hard on the head dear! but its okay now, your here with me forever."
