Affection-How and how often do they show affection?

🗾Sukuna isn't one from whom you will get very much affection as he is a being who desires to be feared and respected. His darling is no exception. Lover is perhaps the wrong word to use, perhaps a precious pet or valuable possession would be words Sukuna would rather use to describe your relationship with him. And whilst he can't help the casual moments of his sadism where he hurts you for the sake of seeing your tears and your fear, he can be somewhat nice around you the longer you stay around him as he develops the smallest soft spot for you. Sincere praises for behaving well for him as well as some rough caresses and touches as the curse has never handled anything with tenderness before and doesn't know how much pressure to apply or not when touching you, holding you or letting you sit on his lap. Sometimes he reminisces about his past whilst in your company, sharing small bits of knowledge and his life as a human with you, without a doubt a proof of how much you mean to him at this point. Until he eventually utters one day something to you in a unusually quiet voice to you, something he entrusts only to you. A name. His real name.

Confession-How do they make their feelings visible? Would they ever confess and court their darling?

🗾Sukuna's feelings are shown through his territorial and possessive behavior and actions, although you shouldn't expect anything more from him. If you desire a someone thoroughly romantic at heart, then the King of Curses is the wrong choice. Perhaps Sukuna's own rough exterior that downright frightens and terrifies you isn't all there is to it. Feelings such as love and genuine desire to have someone by his side are foreign to him. He doesn't know how he should handle his own feelings and he doesn't yearn to do so either. Who do you think he is? He's none other than Ryomen Sukuna, the mere thought that he could ever love someone more than just a simple way to receive some pleasure is ridiculous yet it happens as you disturb his inner conviction and a part of him despises you for making him succumb to such petty emotions. Even whilst in Itadori's body, he is silently brooding yet observing closely whenever you should be around his vessel and the sheer focus of the curse even freaks Yuji out.

🗾See the abduction as his own confession or perhaps just as him yielding to his own feelings, although he'd never admit such a weakness to you. A confession in a normal way is out of question as he has no need nor want to waste his time on such trivial matters. He has always taken what he desires and you are certainly not going to be the exception to this. A genuine confession never seems to happen though and that is because Sukuna never tells you that he loves you. Speaking those words out wrong would mean truly admitting all of his feelings, the dark impulses as well as the small warm tingle he tends to have in his chest. If you say it to him it is fine but the other way around is not going to happen. So whilst his words and actions often show you his possessive and arrogant side, you never hear those words from him that would prove that you are far more worth than even Sukuna himself would like to admit.

Jealousy-Do they get jealous fast? How do they act?

🗾Jealousy would be a far away cry from what Sukuna is able to emotionally experience. He has no need to feel jealous about anything or anyone as he is already the strongest there is. No one can stand up to him, no one can truly fight against him and so you have nothing to save you from his twisted desires either. Displeasure is perhaps a better word to use to describe what is going on inside Sukuna. A feeling of dissatisfaction as he watches you idly spending your time as freely as you desire yet nothing stronger will ever be revealed as that is the extent of how far his emotions go. The King of Curses just can't bring himself to feel anything more than this discontent and a sliver of annoyance as he muses about how much punishment will be required once he has you all for himself to see it through that you understand one simple thing. That you're his.

🗾Off with their heads it is. For Sukuna killing someone is as normal as blinking and breathing. It is a mundane task that still manages to bring him some fleeting excitement and thrill as he watches lives fading away in front of him with nothing but unaltered fear and despair. Everyone who has touched you, everyone who has been a reason for his mild displeasure will be brutally murdered and Sukuna doesn't make this a secret from you either. Much more on the opposite, he actually forces you to sit down and watch with a clenching heart and bile at the back of your throat how he dismembers everyone, your own horror and fear far more pleasurable and exciting than the whimpers and cries of whoever is being strangled by him in that moment. He doesn't even have any ulterior motives behind this besides his lust to see you suffer as he is fully aware that none of them pose any serious threat to him. Not that it matters since they're all gone now. How does it feel to be all alone?

Loneliness-How do they feel when they’re separated from their darling?

🗾Sukuna wouldn't make a big fuss over it if he has to leave you for a certain amount of time. He has his own plans after all and whilst you are a priority, don't be as entitled to think that he will dedicate all of his time to you and only you. He leaves you by yourself when he wants or has to do so, sometimes even without informing you. Other times he briefly tells you that he'll be gone for a little bit and that he expects you to behave. Otherwise...well, you should know that best by now. Just to have an ensurance if he should be gone for a longer period of time, he tends to leave Uraume behind to keep an eye on you. He at least trusts his subordinate enough with your safety as he knows that Uraume doesn't disobey and knows what would happen if anything were to happen to you during his absence. He never tells you though that there is someone watching you. He's just curious how you'll behave whilst he is gone. Better be on your best behavior because Uraume won't look out for you as they report anything to Sukuna.

Inumaki Toge

Affection-How and how often do they show affection?

🗣️I'd say that Inumaki is well-established when it comes to letting his darling know that he adores them in many different ways. Whilst verbal praise isn't possible due to his inability to speak, he has resorted to writing you lots of little messages throughout the day if he is separated from you as well as wishing you a good morning and good night every day via mail. Sign language isn't out of the question either if you'd be up to learn it with him. It would be cute, wouldn't it? Having your own little conversations only you two can understand. He isn't overly affectionate yet just enough to make it obvious such as holding your hand or giving you a quick peck somewhere on your face. Little gifts or your favorite snack once or twice a week which he insists for you to accept as well as little dates and special dates for anniversaries or by celebrating something else such as your or his birthday in which case he plans ahead and reserves everything if he plans to take you somewhere else. He also likes goofing off around you because he wants to see you smile and love, you look breathtaking whenever he sees you being visibly happy.

🗣️Toge needs some time to work through his own emotions after he has discovered the unhealthy side of them. He is lucid after all and he also cares so he takes some time away from you to think about everything before he comes up with a plan. He is being very calculative and cautious as he doesn't want to scare you and doesn't want to slip up with his feelings. He arrives at the conclusion though that he can't settle for staying quiet and risking you to be attracted to someone else. He's scared that he might be driven over the edge if that were to ever happen so he would rather become you partner and promise himself to always keep you always happy and safe instead of potentially losing himself to his darker impulses. He doesn't want to come over as too overbearing nor subtle as he decides to take a risk by being open with his feelings. He grows more protective of you, his gaze lingers on you and he isn't pulling away from you even when you meet his own eyes who stare fondly into your own.

🗣️He would definitely confess at one point but only after he has come up with a good idea how, when and where he wants to do so. Inumaki puts a lot of thought into his confession as this could already mark a deciding moment in how he will go on from here depending on whether you would reject him or not. So he refuses to confess on impulse, especially if he doesn't know yet if you have feelings for him or not. So he waits as he starts courting you without ever admitting it directly to make you fall in love with him and slowly help you realize that he could be more than a good buddy of yours. He's going to confess in a place that has some special meaning to the both of you. Maybe the place where both of you met for the first time or another place where the both of you associate good memories with.

Jealousy-Do they get jealous fast? How do they act?

🗣️In the jealousy department Inumaki is honestly one of the better ones that you could have. His mature behavior and his normally calm and collected personality don't allow for easy cracks as he understands that you have other people in your life and accepts this fact too. He wouldn't feel jealous of friends or family because he has most likely known you long before he developed an obsession with you so most faces in your life are already familiar to him and he trusts them. Toge isn't someone who judges fast either as he just silently observes from a distance, perhaps observing you has just become a bad habit for him at this point. He steps a bit back yet not far enough to not be able to react fast enough to interfere if anything should happen as he quietly watches over you and the other person. Whether he has the impression that a stranger genuinely likes you or just flirts for the fun of it would also play a factor in whether he would react protectively or perhaps a tad bit jealous despite normally being rather secure with his trust in the relationship.

🗣️Initially he would just get a bit closer to you as he continues watching whilst gradually getting closer and closer to you until he's so close that he brushes slightly against your back or your side. He can't use words to explain his relationship with you with someone who can't understand his own language because if he could, he would. Instead he has to rely here a bit on you to clarify to the other person that he is your boyfriend if you shouldn't have done that already in which case he just quietly looks at you intently in hopes that you'll understand what he wants. A little bit of protectiveness is always tied to his jealousy which would explain the way he steps at one point in front of you and shields you slightly and just silently looks into the other person's eyes as a silent request to stop if they shouldn't have done it already whilst also looking at you in hopes of encouraging you to initiate for the both of you to leave. He'll push you away himself if he has to do so.

Loneliness-How do they feel when they’re separated from their darling?

🗣️Toge always informs you when he has to leave and he texts you as soon as he is about to head back to you. He isn't overly paranoid so he isn't going to have a mental breakdown if he has to leave you as he knows that he has other duties to fulfill in his life and he knows the same counts for you. Separation isn't a bother for him although he definitely is relieved whenever he can come back to you. If you would be sick or hurt somehow, it would be slightly different for him because then he would definitely be more worried in case he has to leave you alone as he advices you to be careful and leaves a couple of snacks and medicine behind so that you can take care of yourself whilst he is gone. In such a scenario he will most likely text you a couple of times as he asks you how you're doing and if you want him to buy anything for you when he comes to visit you to either cheer you up or help you to recover from your illness or your wounds better.

Kamo Choso

Affection-How and how often do they show affection?

🩸I feel like most of the time Choso's way of showing his darling his love will come over as very overbearing simply because he can't help himself. He's paranoid and very protective and he sees himself as someone who has to protect and be dependable for his younger brothers as well as his darling now. This is different from the love he feels for his brother Yuji or for his other younger brothers, this is a different kind of love and because he initially doesn't know anything more about this kind of love besides listening to his two primal instincts to protect and cherish, he ends up trying to hard and taking things too far. He's incredibly clingy and attached to your hip all the time, doesn't really allow you to leave his side unless he knows exactly where and with whom you're going and even then the chances of him stalking you anyways are high. He loves cuddling and holding you in general, adores listening to your voice and stares almost all the time creepily lovingly at you. His attention and his care are smothering yet he genuinely believes that this is what he is supposed to do as your lover.

🩸He dissociates himself from people around him unless it is for the sake of his younger brothers and is generally more of a quiet and reserved person. Upon discovering you for the first time and sensing something in his chest whilst looking at you only ends up with him stalking you nearly the entire time because truth be told, he is initially too nervous and jittery with his own feelings to approach you. Instead he becomes your second shadow who follows you around and dedicates himself to protecting you. Sadly he, as always, overdoes it and so he ends up leaving someone on the brink of death for simply insulting you as his impulses to protect you and defend you appear instantly as soon as anyone dares to touch a single hair on your head in the wrong way. So whilst at this stage you may not be aware of him yet, you at least know that there is someone who goes after everyone who has done as much as mutter an insult about you.

🩸Quite honestly, a common instinct of his is simply taking you with him so that he can properly protect you and look out for you and if he's still aligned with Kenjaku and Mahito at that time, this might become reality because none of them would greatly care. If he's already with Yuji at that time, bless the boy for explaining to Choso what the concept of courting is because otherwise he would have just abducted you randomly. Choso tries to not ask his younger brother further though because as the eldest he should know without having to ask Yuji so he ends up observing everyone in his surroundings and might even try to collect clues through movies, ads or books. It is still going to be messy, creepy and somewhat adorable though when he approaches you all of a sudden one day, offers you a bouquet of flowers and admits with a somewhat shy voice that he's going to court you from now on and that he's going to protect you. From that day on he literally walks right behind you so that you can see him and gets you all sorts of random presents. He's trying at least...?

Jealousy-Do they get jealous fast? How do they act?

🩸He probably doesn't even know up until that point what it feels like to be jealous because his love is paying attention to someone else or because someone else is complimenting his love. Similar to Inumaki his jealousy doesn't come without his protectiveness only that he has serious troubles keeping both of them apart as soon as he sees anyone besides Yuji around you and can't even really tell in the beginning that he's jealous instead of just ridiculously overprotective. He doesn't understand that the reason why he is bothered when he sees you around someone else isn't just because of his protective nature nor does he understand when he feels his blood boiling when you are nice to someone else or someone else is nice to you which he tends to easily mistake as them courting you because he can't tell just yet the difference. He is in either case always rather quick to react as soon as you are around someone because he only really trusts his younger brother with you. Additionally I feel like he doesn't do well seeing you being fine without him as he sees his entire purpose in protecting and adoring those who matter to him so acknowledging that others can do the same is quite hard.

🩸He doesn't speak up, he doesn't throw a tantrum, he's just deadly quiet as he stares at you and the other person. He's often being a bit weird around you as a romantic lover and romantic love in general is new to him but he wouldn't want to admit it as he sort of stumbles around and tries to work things out. Yet the stare he gives them is suffocating, eerie and unnerving as you can literally see his body tensing up as if he is about to attack and just waits to see anything that he can mistake as bad intentions towards his darling. He's a bit calmer if you're extremely close to him and he can touch you although his creepy stare never disappears from his face. He acts differently if you should be the one who is being nice and affectionate as it makes his heart ache and has him questioning whether he's doing something wrong for you to rely on someone else like this. He grows even more clingy and slightly distraught as he just wants them away from you, wants you to stop smiling like this for them.

Loneliness-How do they feel when they’re separated from their darling?

🩸He's not doing well if he is separated from his darling, Choso has low-key some attachment issues so he tends to panic quickly if he can't be with you. He's usually stalking you even when you request to go somewhere alone as he always has to make sure that you are safe and that he can protect you. His priorities just shift as soon as he has you and the only one who can convince him at that point to leave you is Itadori at that point because his brothers are the only people he cares about besides you at that point. If anyone else would request for him to be elsewhere, Choso will just deny right away. He's not leaving you, you need him. He's only really leaving you if he has to do something for your sake or for Yuji's sake as it is his responsibility after all to protect the both of you and if any threat is involved, he's going to be quiet deadly in taking care of them. He is going to breath down your neck as soon as he returns though, as attached and clingy as always because he dearly missed you and was worried something might happen to you during his absence.

Mizuki

Affection-How and how often do they show affection?

🐍Mizuki is showering and smothering his darling all the time because he is definitely a worshipper and has absolutely zero restrictions in showing you that. You have to be praised and worshipped and loved after all. He's smothering you in physical affection and kisses all of the time because yes, he is a bit touch-starved after his previous god died on him and left him all alone. He's singing praises about you all of the time and tells you daily how ethereal, beautiful and breathtaking you are and that he will always love, protect and serve you. Mizuki gets you a lot of presents too, from clothes to food to his sacred sake which he brews for you. As your familiar, he does everything for you and fulfills you all of your requests with a concerning level of eagerness and infatuation as long as it doesn't involve you leaving him and he even left a betrothal mark on you to show everyone else that you're already his spouse.

🐍He's quite the eccentric fellow as he starts seeking you out in his human form as stalking you in his snake form has become too hard for him due to his unhealthy attachment to you. And he knows no boundaries nor can he fully keep himself from gushing over you despite being only a stranger in your eyes as you remain unaware of the betrothal mark he has already put on you. His obsessive infatuation should be obvious for even a blind or deaf person though he's fawning over you in a soft and giddy tone and can't keep himself from touching you as he seemingly ignores your signs of discomfort. After all he is convinced that as soon as he has revealed to you who he is and exlains to you that you are already his spouse due to the mark, you'll start loving him too. He always leaves you disturbed when he walks away from you and promises you with an obsessed gleam in his eyes that soon both of you will be able to stay always together.

🐍He's basically set on abducting you although he obviously wouldn't call it that way. After all he lovingly prepares the shrine for you as he genuinely believes that he's doing the right thing. You two are wed at this point anyways, the betrothal mark has already made you his and so it is only natural for you two as a married couple to move in together. He has never seen the real need for courting you as he has always believed that both of you would fall in love anyways. That doesn't mean that he isn't busily showering you in affection and presents in the short time where you don't know who he is as he constantly seems to be in the places you are. Perhaps this can be seen as courting you from his side. He's going to confess everything to you though as soon as you are captivated and stuck in his shrine as he gives you a heartfelt confession of how much he adores you and that he knew that you two were meant for each other whilst watching over you as well as what he really is.

Jealousy-Do they get jealous fast? How do they act?

🐍I think his at times childish behavior leads to Mizuki’s darling forgetting sometimes that he is deeply unhinged and very much dangerous. That is quickly visible to you as soon as you know who he truly is and it dawns on you that he might be responsible for so many people suddenly avoiding you. When you dare to ask him, he gives you a loving smile as he explains to you that he couldn’t have anyone trying to distract you from what truly matters which is only the both of you. You have no need for anyone else besides him. He’s everything you need and he will do anything for you. Mizuki’s extreme jealousy definitely always is active around people though as he despises it as soon as your attention shifts to someone else. He does terrible when he’s ignored by you as he is essentially silently seething as he blames the other person for stealing your attention and affection as well as hurting on the inside as he wonders why you’re ignoring him in the first place. He’s your husband and familiar, you should only pay attention to him and if you don’t, he gets very quickly anxious. Has he done something that angered you?

🐍Depends on whether we’re talking about pre-abduction or post-abduction. Pre-abduction Mizuki’s will most likely sent out his servants to scare and frighten anyone who dares to get too close to you despite the mark he has set on you. He isn’t above approaching them himself and deeply unnerving them with the lunatic and sickly infatuated gleam in his eyes as he fawns over you and threatens them at the same time, his pupils mere slits and seemingly quivering as if he’s about to murder them as he looks at them with bright green eyes and with an eerie grin pulling at his lips. Post-abduction requires a huge isolation factor as you are stuck in the temple with only him and his servants but his jealousy can be even directed at them if you compliment them too much as you should only pay full attention to him and give him all of your affection and praise.

Loneliness-How do they feel when they’re separated from their darling?

🐍Honestly, he would only ever leave you if he has to get something for you because otherwise he’s not leaving your side. His stress and anxiety levels raise the moment he doesn’t know where you are and can’t find you until he crumbles and has a full-on meltdown in which he sobs, cries, clutches his chest as his heart is hurting and might even hurt himself and the servants around him in the worst case. He genuinely can’t function without you or else he will snap and lose it. So he only ever leaves if he has to get you something because he still sees it as his duty to provide everything for you. He’s always trying to be fast when he has to separate himself from you because there is a timer to how long he can retain his sanity until he blows up. He attaches himself to your side as soon as he is back, clutching onto you and silently asking for affection whilst acting as if he’s been gone for years.

Ft. Self-Aware Niigo

"What is happening?" - A sigh escaped your lips, as you tried restarting your device again. It has been happening several times throughout this months.

After finishing yet another Niigo event, you found out more about Mafuyu's situation. The way her mother treated her infuriated you. And just like everyone in the fandom, you wished Mafumom's death. Of course, you cursed her out in your own kinda way, right infront of the characters. "Who enters their kid's room, finds a synthesizer and treats it as if you saw your kid doing drugs??" a growl escaped your lips. "Seriously, Mafuyu's mom is the worst". And then you closed the app, to cool off.

Existentional crisis isn't something that was on girls' list. Hearing voices in your head and guidance during singing and stuff isn't normal after all. Was it insanity perhaps?

They were wary of you

None of them talked about...for a while. They noticed that the...guidance they were receiving from the voice also made their relationships better.(friendship lvl) Why? Perhaps all you really want is to help them. At some point, Vocaloids got then to sit down together in empty sekai and talk about the strange voice. Vocaloids know you, the player.

After hearing out question, asked by Meiko and Luka, they had collectively started loosing their shit.

...all they went through...was just.. a game? Nothing? Just entertainment?

Why were you helping them then?

And so, certain someone from another group hacked your camera.

Mafuyu honestly didn't know how to feel. Fist clenched, she tried to keep her tears from falling. No, she didn't blame you.

How could she blame you?

After all, all you want is to help them. Yes, this is all. You want nothing in return. They may be game characters, but they could feel your love. Purple-head is sure that others feel the same way.

It's okay, niigo can share. Kinda. But others?

Mafuyu loves watching your expression (and if you talk/sing along then listen to you). She doesn't do much else. Her face softens up, shoulders become less tense as she observes you. Ah, aren't you an angel?

She started working on her vocals more, so your attention would stay on her in every song. She wants your attention and affection. Please give it to her, look only at her, listen only to her

She loves it when you pick clothes for her, she tried to stay away from anything that could damage them or get them stained.

Our pink-head was so happy certain guy hacked your phone camera and mic!

They could hear your voice, and see your expressions. Ah, the way your eyes lit up when you did helped them (fullcombo/all perfect)! You seem to really like their singing and dancing.

Mizuki will try to make group's visuals even more appealing. Their MVs are already awesome, but Mizuki will try even harder. Better, they should be better. What if MV isn't good enough? No, they don't want you to take your eyes off of them. They must make every second of MV stunning.

Tbh, all of the girls love watching you (other groups too). But compared to others, they do it more often. Much more often. They watch you sleep

Mizuki hummed in content, as you were choosing another outfit for them. Your face is so focused while you observe them, ah, you're just so cute! If they could only pinch your cheeks! Mizuki would love to go to shopping with you and Ena. For now, Mizuki will wear anything you gave them proudly.

In the middle of the night, an artist was making yet another masterpiece in her dim lit room. Digital and traditional art. A lot of it. There were some scrambles papers and tossed canvases on the ground. But aside from that, room was fully covered in drawings of one particular person. You

You were her muse. Ena couldn't stop drawing you. You're an embodiment of perfection. No one stood close to you. No one

Ena spends days and nights in her room trying to get your face right. Her drawings were good, but not perfect. She couldn't get your face just quite right. Something was...missing. *sigh* if only you were here with her for real, then it would've been so much easier! It's alright. She is content with being to see you (at least for now).

She observes you more than the others. To draw, and to just take in all of your beauty

Similarily to Mizuki, she wore everything you gave her proudly. Maybe even showed off a little. Every dance, every song, she kept thinking about you, about how you would guide her and help her to get better. Your love, your support....

....It is her third cup of noodles

Kanade tried to write more songs, thinking about you. She loves your smile. It is already past midnight, and yet, here she sits. Infront of her computer, composing music and writing songs. If her songs make you happy, then she will try to write even more.

Kanade has a savior complex, and wants to make everyone happy. You, being the most important person, deserve the most happiness. If you talk about your troubles, or have a sad expression, Kanade will try to make a song to make you feel better. Relatable song, happy song, you name it. Only you will be able to acces this songs, and no one else. They were written for you after all.

Teenager, eating her now forth cup of noodles, thinks of what kind of melodie should be next. She can't help but think of how comforted you would be by her song. Er..their song. She wants Niigo to be your favorite group.

Tired blue eyes skimming from her computer towards her bed. Girl faintly remembers you mentioning something about taking care of her health. She's tired, she can't remember it fully. Perhaps she needs to take a break. Yeah, she can continue once she wakes up.

Kanade enjoys any time you spend with her and any attention you give her. She likes your outfits, but she feels bad sometimes. I mean, she doesn't come out of her room that often, so you probably shouldn't bother, no? Yet, she is very happy that you decided to give her something this gorgeous. She feels some confidence boost when she is in them.

Kanade watches you during her writing hours. Just seeing your face makes her motivated for a new song.

You swear it's not paranoia, but you always feel like you are being watched

Mizuki is actually pretty calm when it comes to that. Someone needs to REALLY piss them off! And the biggest trigger would be someone bullying you to the point you can't take it anymore and are thinking of really dark thoughts. They wanted to be calm but now? They don't even care if they'll be catched!!

Sneaky death notes to your bullies become whole bullying paragraphs on internet, posting their emberassing pictures, facts, rumors, additionally spreading all the stuff mentioned around school, anything to get rid of them from your life! They'll also go into blaming them for vandalizing school just so they'll be kicked out of your school.

"They're doing what?!! Oh no no no! Just trust me it'll be alright... I'll make sure to handle them. Hm? Oh no, it's just your mind! Haha! I'm normal!"

✧ Non stop = How clingy they'll be when you're in relationship? How possessive are they? And how much free space do they give you?

Mizuki is actually very clingy partner! They don't care if you just pulled away from 4 hours cuddle session and you're late for classes, it's time to be peppered with kisses!! They're somehow always holding your hand or clinging onto your side even when you're walking! So you can say freely their affection is at it's top!

And as you maybe guessed... their possessiveness isn't any better! They're so clingy it's actually possessive. I mean... everyone could see it the moment they came to school more often just to be by your side! Whenever you go, they'll want to go with you. Obviously not to toilet and if you need some time alone, they'll understand, but if you take more than 3 hours, they'll start whining you don't love them anymore and began tired of this relationship! So you have no other choice but to come back~

"No! Don't leave!! You're cheating on me, aren't you?! You were just playing with my feelings! If not then don't go and prove it!! You know how sad just the thought made me? I'm literally about to cry..!"

✧ Type = What type of Yandere are they?

Mizuki would be the manipulator type! Because why get their hands dirty when they can just use their appearance and words to make you think they're the only one you need and to make others eliminate themselves?

They're good at acting so you won't even know it when these tears are real and when they're just trying to achieve their goal with it... But guilt trapping is definitely their favorite method~ It's so comforting to see you care so much for them after all~

Oof, now this is extremely tough, for both Mizuki. Their entire secret revolves around keeping a secret that they fear would ruin their friendships, so them suddenly gaining feelings for someone? Yeah...

At first Mizuki tries to deny their own feelings. You are just their friend, nothing else! They shouldn't try to push it or make something deeper with you! Everything should be fine so long as you two remain friends, right?

Unluckily, love isn't so easy to just shrug off, and once they realize just how bad they have fallen for you, they start to get nervous about their feelings all over again, much like when they had the choice to join Niigo.

They hide their struggles from you, like always, but slowly, they start to drift away. They can't afford to become so attached, to show just how vulnerable they truly are, to rely on you with their darkest, deepest secrets. Unfortunately for them, it's not that easy.

"... Huh? Ah, sorry, I was just soooo caught up in my editing yesterday that I missed our shopping trip! Sorry, but can we put it on hold until this next song is released?... Huh?? What do you mean this isn't like me, just trust me, come on! I'm not THAT lazy..."

As time passes, it's not only harder to lie to you, but to themselves as well. Each day they spend away from you they think of you more, and more. Not only more, but they thoughts start to grow intense.

When they previously just thought about being happy with you, and being the best friend for you, now they wanted to watch over you so that you were always well, and safe.

So, still riddled with guilt and now even more so, they start to stalk you. First, it's just online, making sure you make the right friends, then it's more social, as they apologize for their behavior and resume hanging out with you, and slowly they start peering more and more into your personal life.

However, it wasn't of a desire to market you all theirs, they couldn't bear to take you away from what makes you happy, which they understood was socializing and being free, much like them. However, they wouldn't allow anyone to ruin your happiness.

Mizuki couldn't lie to themselves, they were completely and absolutely in love with you now, but someone like them, riddled with insecurities, lies, and identity issues, wouldn't be enough to make you happy, much less as a lover.

However, that doesn't mean they would remain just a friend... In fact, while they looked at you and felt such conflicting emotions in their heart, whenever they looked at others behind their backs, they didn't even notice their suspicions, paranoia, and wariness rising.

"Hey, you remember that girl that asked for help to study two days ago? How do I know about her- that doesn't matter! What's important, is that she's hanging out way too much with the popular girls! Yeah, you know what that means, be careful!"

If they could only be friends, that means they'll be the best friend they can be: Protecting you from people with bad intentions, helping you make your decisions, making your life brighter each day they possibly could. It doesn't matter whether their need for love hurts even worse every time they're called a friend...

It's not long before every single one of your days is influenced by them, be it getting new friends and letting go of others, changing your daily routines, and spending almost every single hour of the day in constant contact with them.

However, it doesn't matter how many times you chat with them now, as opposed to their earlier behavior, you can't help but feel like something's off... Their movements are more intense, their voice as well, yet they only want to talk about you, and shrug off any other friends they mention quickly...

This isn't easy for Mizuki, they love you so much, so much it hurts to be far from you. But they can't love you like you deserve, they shouldn't be the only one. They'll just keep an eye over you, lead you down the right path, keep you safe.

Toya's POV: Staring at [name], I plan on confessing to her soon but she keeps hanging out with Ena 24/7, but Ena wasnt free today so she decided to hang out with this loud noisy bitch that always thinks he'll be a star, I hate when she hangs out with other guys... I'll have to get rid of him..

[names] POV: I was hanging out with Tsukasa since Ena wasnt free today, but the same eerie feeling of someone staring at me made me shiver, looking around I couldnt see anyone that was staring at me or looked suspicious, I tried to ignore it, trying to listen to Tsukasa as a way to distract myself with. But it didnt work I could still feel someone staring at me, I could feel my insecurities creep up on me again. Was someone perhaps staring at me while making fun of me with they're friends in a distance? Or mayb-, my thoughts were quickly cut off by Tsukasa yelling in my face, " OI [NAME] ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?! AND MY FUTURE PLANS WHEN I BECOME A STAR? " " Huh o-oh yea sorry I zoned out a bit. " And just like that he started ranting again.

Arriving back home I entered my room, flopping down on my bed not even thinking of changing into more comfortable clothes, do I have a stalker? Well maybe. But I just hoped that the staring will end sooner or later at least.. * DING *, looking to my right I saw that Ena texted me again, opening my phone I started to talk with Ena.

I sighed turning my phone off, this week has been really weird... Maybe Im just overthinking things.. Sitting up quickly with a new found energy I quickly went to my computer calling up Emu and asking if she wanted to play games with me online, she quickly agreed and we played for 3 hours straight until she had to go. ❤️‍🔥There are no words in the dictionary that could even begin to describe the pain he's going through as his red eyes can't tear themselves away from your burnt corpse, the sickening smell of burnt flesh invading his nostrils as his stomach is contracting, pushing his lunch slowly up until Benimaru feels a sour taste pushing at the back of his throat. He's dizzy and feels nauseous, hears his own heartbeat drumming agonizingly fast against his chest as the sound drowns out everything else around him. He doesn't notice how Konro gently puts a hand on his shoulder, how the twins start weeping when seeing your corpse or how the citzens of Asakusa form a crowd, shocked and sad as all of them knew that you were Benimaru's partner. Eventually the man stumbles back, seemingly in a trance as he makes his way past a worried Konro and all citizens, the image of your burnt body forever engraved into his brain, a testament to his failure. There's a slight sway to his steps, his legs feeling weak and fragile just like the rest of him. He barely makes it past a few houses before he stops and has to support himself, a numbing feeling taking over.

❤️‍🔥You wake up with a startle from your horrific dream, your clothes sticking to your skin due to the sweat. There's a heavy weight surrounding you and it takes you a moment to realize that this weight is physical and not the aftermath of your terrifying dream. It's in fact your lover who has somehow managed to curl himself around you, arms wrapped around your waist and legs entangled with your own. His hold is tight like one of a constrictor snake and his skin is noticably hot. You feel more sweat start to arise on your body and you do your best to turn around as good as you can, flinching again when you see his red eyes already looking at you. For a while you just look at him and hope he'll understand what you want, when he instead just cuddles you even closer and puts his head in the crook of your neck, you realize he doesn't have any intentions to let you go in the foreseeable future. You have to slap his arm in the end and tell him that you want him to ease his hold and let you go so that you can go to the bathroom. He pounders over your wish for a while before he hesitantly lets you go. When you return from the bathroom, Benimaru is sitting, waiting for you.

❤️‍🔥Now, you know that Benimaru has his clingy moments with you but something is just off with him today. He persistently follows you around the moment morning arrives and you stand up, laboriously that is as you have to fight his arms off. You feel like he's a little duckling, a muscular and very powerful duckling, but a clingy duckling nonetheless. It's almost slightly creepy as he hovers around you and doesn't allow you to leave his sight, he's even standing in front of the goddamn door leading to the bathroom as if fearing that something might happen. Obviously he doesn't mention it to you as he doesn't want you to worry but this nightmare has bothered him too much to act completely nonchalant. You don't see the reason to tell him about your nightmare either so both of you just attempt to go on with your daily routine as normal. Until both of you realize the familiar pattern in today and in the dream both of you had. Benimaru isn't necessarily superstitious but those are one too many similarities.

❤️‍🔥Neither Konro nor the twins seem to know anything but what about you? Benimaru's eyes turn to you as he observes you to see if you perhaps know anything. Surely enough he sees cracks in your facade you try to put on as every little thing you remember from your dream puts your nerves more on edge. A confirmation for him, at the very latest when he doesn't pull his bluntless and asks you the same question that has been tormenting him since the earliest morning. Have you seen your own death today in your dreams? You can't hide the shock and silent fear on your face and the same silent horror resonates somewhere deep inside Benimaru's heart. But that's alright. This can be avoided if you simply stay at home today and don't go out. He hushes your protests quickly, not willing to hear any of them. Your life is far more important than any plans you could have had today. You find yourself feeling much more smothered with his presence even after the Infernal is taken care of as something inside Benimaru is slightly damaged. He's always known about dangers of Infernals but it's the first time that he's experienced the indescribable amount of pain of losing you because he wasn't fast enough.

Roy Mustang

🔥It is hard to put into words what's going on inside of Roy as he's informed about your death that happened during a terrible accident whilst he was working on some documents in his office. He just stares at whoever delivered the message to him for a good amount of time as the weight of those words take a while to penetrate his skin and sink in. When everything has finally settled, he suddenly stands abruptly up, his chair tumbling back and his hand banging onto the surface of the desk, sending a few documents flying as his gaze widens and his whole face twists into a horrified and frenzied mask. All his duties are forgotten as he storms out, ignores everyone who worriedly asks him what's wrong as he runs down the halls, headed to the scene where the accident happened. As soon as the location becomes visible to him, he's feeling nauseous. A carriage that lost a wheel went out of control and crashed into the pavement, hurting a couple of people. Riza accompanies him to the morgue later on for moral support as Roy is already shaking and breathing erratic. When he's shown your corpse, he instantly turns around, supports himself against the wall, sounds akin to a dying animal leaving his throat.

🔥Hot palms are clinging to you the moment you wake up from your all but pleasant dream, warm and troubled breath coming from next to you. When you turn around, you notice how Roy is visibly shaking next to you, feel his muscles tightening and trembling. When you touch his face, you feel beads of sweat covering his skin. He's having quite obviously a nightmare so you quickly start shaking him and calling his name quietly to wake him up. One of his hands grabs your wrist tightly as he's at first only half-awake, muttering something from it being your fault, whatever it might be. A few seconds later he snaps out of it though and realizes with shock what he's doing, quickly releases your wrist. Then he's shuffling closer to you, cradles your face gently in his hands and lets his eyes roam over you frantically as if in slight disbelief that you're even here. You're confused but don't say anything. Eventually Roy unwinds a bit, his body relaxing as he pulls you closer to him in a tight hold.

🔥Breakfast with him that morning is strange. As soon as you want to leave the room, he instantly questions you on where you plan to go and his eyes are a lot more on you than they normally are, carefully observing your every move as if afraid that something will happen to you otherwise. You know that he's had a nightmare and you assume that his behavior might be because of it but you did too and you're not acting like that. And you saw yourself dying after all. Even when you shortly go outside to retrieve the newspaper which is always delievered to your house by a kind boy, he wants to know what you're doing. You're already in the process of reading it when you return to the kitchen but you stop midway through the door frame, eyes glued to the contents of the paper. Instantly you catch Roy's attention who stands up from his chair and is next to your side with a few huge steps, questioning you worried what's wrong before his dark eyes also fly over tha article. His face loses all color in only a few seconds.

🔥Not because there are shocking news written on the paper, it's because everything written there is eerily familiar. He's read this very same newspaper before in his dream. On the day where you died. Roy is so much in shock and fear that it takes a few moments for him to notice but then it suddenly clicks and dark eyes slowly look at you, still transfixed on the newspaper with fear all over your face. Then you feel his intense gaze on you though and flinch, slowly and almost hesitantly meeting his eyes. You...why are you so scared? This isn't a secret you can keep away from him as he forces you to sit down and interrogates you almost, demanding you in a desperate tone to tell him the truth. You give in eventually and admit it to him and his face twists once again into an ugly mask of horror and paranoia. He's pacing back and forth in the kitchen for a while, distantly wondering about possibilities of having a prophetic dream or something similar to that before he abruptly stops and turns to you. You'll stay home. It isn't a request it's a demand he won't let you argue with, too consumed by his own paranoia of losing you. Roy becomes worse after that day, far more controlling and monopolizing.

Mizuki

🐍The scent of blood is overwhelming, the red liquid everywhere. It's staining the material of your clothes, your once beautifully bright eyes dull and empty and your mesmerizing and serene heartbeat forever silenced. Never again will he hear your gorgeous laughter or catch a glimpse of your mesmerizing smile. You might as well have just taken Mizuki with you to the afterlife as his heart dies together with the loss of you. The shikigami is a mess, covered in tears, snot and your blood as he sobs and cries with a loud and broken voice. He's forgotten how to breathe, his breath getting caught in his lungs, his chest moving rapidly and his vision blurry. His clothes and his white skin are stained with your blood as he clings to your dead body, desperately and uselessly hoping and begging to sense a heartbeat yet only terrifying silence engulfs the both of you. If you hear his wails in the distance, leave. Mizuki will attack and hurt everyone who dares to appraoch the two of you right now. He doesn't want to be alone, he can't do it alone! Oh...he knows! He'll just follow you! Yes! As soon as he's buried you somewhere around his shrine, he'll go with you! Your one and only loyal shikigami will go everywhere with you.

🐍The spirits in his shrine can only scurry away in horror as soon as Mizuki awakes from his slumber, livid, confused and above everything else in unbelievable pain. It's pulsing through his veins, it squeezes all air out of his lungs and claws at his heart to the point where he clutches his chest in pain. Green eyes are darting back and forth, glowing maliciously, his pupils mere slits. He's gazing at his hands and his outfit, as clean as ever with not even the slightest drop of blood on them. Mizuki knows better though than to brush it off, it's a feeling he has deep inside his bones and soul. This dream meant something, showed him something that will happen. Paranoia poisons his mind and heart quickly and in the next moment he's rushing outside the shrine, hissing at the spirits of the place to quickly finish the room he's been preparing for your arrival for a while now. It isn't finished yet but that's alright, he'll do it soon. First he has to retrieve you.

🐍You're largely minding your own business on that day, although that terrifying nightmare of yours is still haunting you. You've never had a dream as detailed and gory as this but you do your best to ignore it. You're not superstitious and do your best to be as stubborn as you can be to remain oblivious to every single similarity you notice to the nightmare you had. It can't be, it can't be, it can't be. A mandra you repeat as often as you can to convince yourself that nothing is wrong. Whilst you're on your way outside though, your attention is drawn to a white snake. You're slightly startled, take a few cautious steps back as it stares at you with it's eyes. You're unsure what it wants from you until you feel another one sliding up your leg. You shriek, try to pull it away only to notice with growing fear that even more snakes emerge from the bushes and inch closer to you. Within all of this you suddenly feel two hands wrapping themselves around you from behind, a voice whispering to you that everything will be fine.

🐍When you wake up, you're on a tatami mat and wrapped up in a cozy blanket. You're slightly confused of where you are before the image of white scales and green eyes return to you, the purr of a sickenly sweet voice before you passed out. When you abruptly sit up as it dawns on you that you've been abducted, you feel a sudden weight clinging to your form. As soon as you look down, you're met with white hair and piercing green eyes looking with an excited shimmer at you. Before you can scream, run away, do anything this man, the same one who abducted you, sits up with a thrilled and lovesick smile on his face. He's welcoming you in your new home, apologizes for the sudden events and promises you to get all your stuff as quickly as possible and to finish decorating the room to your liking soon. He's disturbingly indifferent about the fact that he kidnapped you. You manage to stutter out who he is and why you're here, a question that seems to trigger him somehow as you feel how he heaves himself up your body, closer and tighter, until his head is resting on the spot where he can feel your heartbeat. There were some dangers...but don't concern yourself about it. Your shikigami has already taken care of it.

Vanitas

🌙The usually smug and flirtatious man is gone in an instant when he finds your dead body, another casualty in an attack of another curse-bearer. He only finds out after having saved them though, if he would have known beforehand he might have just refused to cure them. Blue eyes are filled with pure hatred and Noél fears that he might just attack the vampire he just saved, he certainly looks like it. His whole body is trembling, his breath is erratic and there is a frenzied look on his face akin to one of a murderer. Hatred is always the least painful emotion, the one which offers distraction from the pain and it oozes out of his entire being in that moment. This short freedom of pain and reality, of only hatred, lasts only a few moments though before it all collapses and reveals the broken man Vanitas has always been, only to be shattered even more. He kneels down next to the body of yours, takes you softly in his arms and bites down onto his lip until he tastes blood, trying his best to not cry. Nothing is gained though as salty tears fall from his eyelashes and silent sobs start wrecking his body as he starts gently rocking back and forth, clutching you tightly to his chest. You aren't supposed to leave him! Not like this!

🌙As soon as he wakes, the world is spinning. Hot and cold shivers go down his spine, he feels beads of sweat dropping down his temple and his heartbeat goes frenzy inside his chest. He clutches his clothes resting right above his racing heartbeat, finds himself struggling to take a simple breath as his chest feels heavy. Everything feels wrong, everything feels scary and subconsciously as he isn't able to focus properly, one of his shaky hands makes his way over to you until it feels your warm body with his fingertips. Safe and sound, asleep right next to him. A sweet yet stinging sweetness that has his heart swelling as a wave of dolorous relief takes a hold of the man and he feels hot tears dripping down his face, muffled sobs escaping his lips as he does his best to not wake you up. He's too vulnerable, too helpless and ugly to allow you to let you see him right now, suffers all alone in silence until morning comes creeping around and you wake up.

🌙You wake up to be greeted with the sight of a rarely vulnerable-looking Vanitas. He's asleep, appears to have snuggled deeper into the blanket as his head is resting close to your chest so that you're almost tempted to cradle his head. Eyelashes flutter open though to reveal magnificent blue eyes staring up to you and for a short moment you imagine to see a flash of pain and sorrow darkening them before they return to their normal sparkle, playful and willing to tease you. He can not under any circumstances let you know about his nightmare because he isn't a child anymore. He doesn't need to run to you as soon as he's had a nightmare to get your comfort. So he does his best to act as normal as he can, teases you to his heart's content. He's an waful lot more frightful though and terribly observing so neither the events of this day nor your own slowly changing mood are missed. He feels his lungs filling with paranoia when he draws the horrible conclusion.

🌙Hands hold your face softly, a contrast to his fingertips digging into your cheeks as blue eyes have returned to the broken and maniac look you thought you'd only imagined before. You can't fully blame him though as you've recognized yourself what's going to happen today. You got in a bit of an argument with Vanitas about how to proceed though, leading you to this current position. You've never seen him so out of control, see the tears shimmering in his eyes and the tremors going through his body with the memory of the dream. He won't let it happen again though. You won't leave him all alone in this world. You, the only person around whom he doesn't hate himself as much as he normally does. You're scared of this Vanitas though as he's far too unpredictable, muttering more to himself than to you that he wil be prepared this time. The man has lost it, the realization that the day is merely about to repeat itself has broken him as he vows to go against destiny to ensure that you live. He'll go against your own wishes as well as you're clearly less concerned than he is. Can't you listen to him just this once?! Careful now or you might end up in chains, Vanitas is certainly unhinged enough now

-> a/n: I like this type of drama, and it’s sweet to see that people from my country love my works :) so hope you enjoy this one!

-> after his wife died and jubelian began fearing him, you stood up and become a parental figure when he couldn’t. From afar, he watched you act like a mother to his daughter when he was to busy with his work and the many times he caught you giving sweets before dinner, those moments were his favorite to watch from afar.

-> jubelian grown into a gorgeous and respectful woman due to your influence in her life, Regis admit that with your shame, but he feels jealous how closer you and jubelian are closer to each other. Even with him act cold to protect her and interact not as much he desired to, he wishes to know why his daughter often question you if you are going to leave the dukedom, why would you leave? Isn’t this enough for you?

-> that day might be coming, he knows, you are a young lady with a proper future and don’t need to stay in the dukedom, however he is too selfish to let you go away from this place. Regis knows if that ever happens, the air of the manor will become depressing as it was when his wife died.

-> he can’t let that happen, regis have enough power to hold you in his territory and to make your suitors leaves you in a blink of eyes. Poor you can’t even leave your job now, since your parents no longer support you and you don’t know why! Could be that move away without letting you know? Or they just kicked you out of the family? You will never know.

-> struck inside the dukedom as Jubelian babysitter is interested, she is already a young lady who knows to take of herself, so there isn’t much what to do… if you don’t count those times where her father approaches you during your day.

-> began with little talks with commonly topics such as the weather, lasts trends in fashion, Jubelian’s love, general conversations that you shared with your boss, nothing that you considers to be special, unlike him, regis believes that he is getting closer to met you with every words you two exchange.

-> leading to this small talks into full conversation that takes hours to finish and he slowly learn more about you, your life and how you were abandoned by your parents ( while pretending that he wasn’t the main reason to do so). the tears dropping from your eyes were quickly cleaned by him, gaining a sweet smile from yours, another reason to be in love with you.

-> that way, he slowly made you fall in love with him. his little touches, sweet words and gifts convince you to stay at his side as the new duchess and official mother of Jubelian, can’t you really believe it? You now have the love of your life at your side with a perfect daughter like her.

-> how happy he is knowing that you are never leaving him side.

“Keigie,” you sing to get his attention, calling him by an old nickname to butter him up.

“Yes, my sweet baby sister?”

“Can I go out with some friends tonight?”

Hesitantly, he looks at his watch. You can see him trying to come up with a reason to not let you go out.

“I did all my chores and homework, and it’s not a school night! I can be back before eleven. Please?”

With a hand on the back of his neck, he turns you down. “I’m sorry, I don’t think it’s good for you to be out that late.”

“Keigie, I’m nineteen! I want to go out and have some fun. Please?”

“Calm down. Yelling is only going to get you grounded.”

You can’t believe him. No, wait, that’s not true. You knew this would be a possibility. You tried to make as little excuses as you could for him by doing your homework and chores. You even waited for the weekend to come before you asked him. Taking a deep breath so you don’t get too emotional, you close your eyes and sigh.

Opening them, you look at him coldly. “Fine, Keigo, I’ll just stay in my room for another Friday night and not enjoy another weekend with my friends.” You turn on your heel and pad up to your room, slamming the door shut once you get there.

Not even thirty minutes later, he gets a call telling him he has to do a job. It’s a major threat, and his quirk is fit for the work that needs to get done. He knocks rapidly on your door. Once you tell him that he can come in, he pokes his blonde head in your room.

“I have to go to work. You stay here. I’ll take you out for ice cream when I get back. Okay? Love you, Baby Bird.”

Pouting because HE gets to go out, you cross your arms. However, you know how important “I love you” is to Keigo. This could end up being the last chance you have to say that to him.

“I love you too, Keigie.”

He smiles at you with a lopsided grin. Leaving the house, he flies away to the site of the attack.

You look at your phone and bite your lip, wondering if you could get away with it. You don’t know how long Hawks will be gone for. Sometimes, it’s only up to an hour. Other times, less frequently, he could be gone for up to five hours. It all depends on the job he’s working.

Taking a major risk, you decide to text your friends, telling them you’ll meet them at the bar.

You’re having a great time with your friends. You all ordered chips and dip. You even have tacos to munch on. Using your fake I.D, you managed to get yourself a vodka soda. You never had one before now, and it only makes you want another one.

“No, remember when Mizuki fucking fell down on the dance floor, and Y/N’s heel broke when she tried to help her up, and she ended up falling on top of Mizuki?” Hibiki bursts out in laughter as he tells the story. You’re surprised he was able to make it through relaying the events of that night because he’s about to fall out of his chair from laughing so hard.

And then he’s so drunk that he does fall out of his chair, and the entire table is giggling and chuckling. You’re slamming your fist on the table because you can’t catch your breath.

As you prepare to finish off your vodka soda with a final few sips, Hawks barges into the bar, ruining the relaxed and hilarious atmosphere you had built over the last two hours with your friends.

You didn’t realize he was there until you hear a very familiar voice yell, “She’s underage, you asshole!”

Turning around, you see Hawks shoving your waiter aside and stalking towards you. He grabs your glass. “This better be a fucking virgin if you know what’s good for you.” He takes a sniff of your drink. “Oh, you’re fucking dead. I’m going to roast you alive when we get home.”

You’re a little tipsy but not shitfaced drunk like Hibiki. Standing up isn’t difficult, and you try to walk as fast as your heels can carry you. It isn’t far.

A hand wraps around your wrist, pulling you into the chest of one pissed off big brother.

“I thought I told you to stay at the house. I’m pretty sure I made myself clear, sis.”

Feeling bold from your liquid courage, you puff your chest out, and you can see that Keigo doesn’t like it at all.

“Yeah, well, I’m sick of you always telling me what to do just because Ma and Pa aren’t around anymore. You can’t keep locking me up in my room. It’s fucking annoying.”

“Are you fucking kidding me? With all of the things I do for you, I never throw them in your face, but I do so fucking much for you. All I ask is that you obey my rules! You know the reason why I can’t let you go out on your own. I have targets on my back. Someone could kidnap you to get to me. If not hanging with your friends is the price you have to pay to stay safe, then fucking pay it because your friends don’t mean shit to me. You do. Your life is what matters to me the most.”

It must hurt your friends to hear a pro hero say he couldn’t give a fuck about them. However, his words hurt you even more. You don’t even know how to respond because you feel like he’s making so many fair points.

When your eyes lower, Keigo knows he has won the argument. He pays your tab and drags you out of the bar before flying you home. The entire way there, he contemplates how to punish you.

“How did you even find me,” you ask as you turn your head slightly so he can hear you.

“I tracked your phone. Now, be quiet. I don’t want to hear another word from you tonight.”

Once home, he decides to lock you in your room until morning. He claims he needs to cool off before giving you a punishment. You only nod your head before hearing the lock on the outside of your door click.

You can barely sleep, and when morning arrives, you feel groggy and fatigued. Keigo raps on your door loudly, knowing that it will make you regret drinking.

You groan as he opens the door. He walks in with water, two headache pills, and breakfast on a tray. He sets it down on your bedside table before taking a seat on your bed. He looks like he’s been thinking about something all night because of the little crease between his brows.

“First of all, how did you get into a bar?”

Sighing, you reach into your bedside table drawer for your wallet. You pluck your fake I.D., handing it to your brother. You rationalize that there’s no point in hiding it from him. He’ll just tear your room apart in order to find anything incriminating.

Keigo looks at you with determination. “You’re doing your schooling online for the rest of the year.”

It feels as though your stomach has been punched with an iron fist. “What?”

“You heard me. I can’t trust you, so you’re doing your classes online. I’ll show you how everything works tomorrow. This is your punishment for going out behind my back.”

“But, I want to go to school in person and see my friends!”

“Yeah, well, I wanted to go out and get ice cream with you after work, but we all don’t get what we want.”

In that moment, you attempt to slap him, forgetting his quick reflexes and experience as a pro hero. He grabs your wrist and glares at you.

“Do you really want to make it two years?”

Your lower lip wobbles as tears well up in your eyes. “No, I don’t.”

“Then apologize.”

“I’m sorry…”

Keigo releases your limb, and you turn away from him, crossing your arms. You actually can’t believe he’s going this far. Usually, he would just lecture you or ground you for a few weeks. This is entirely different. There are seven months left in the year, and he plans on grounding you for all of them just because you went out drinking with your friends.

“Hey, don’t be like that. Even though this is a punishment, I still love you. I always will. I’m doing this for you. I have to protect you from the people who might want to use you to get to me. We can still have some fun and hangout together. I’ll take you out for ice cream and pizza later on in the week if you behave yourself. Okay?”

When he doesn’t get a response from you, he reaches over and grabs your shoulder, trying to get you to look at him. Your expression is miserable. Not even pizza and ice cream could sway you into a better mood.

Tears soak your lashes and cheeks, giving your E/C eyes a glassy look.

“Can you just leave?” your breath hitches on the last syllable, and it utterly breaks your brother’s heart.

The winged hero sighs and nods. “Sure. If that’s what you want. Take your medicine and eat something. It’ll help with the hangover,” he explains as he stands up and leaves.

“I love you, Baby Bird,” he tells you right as he’s about to close the door.

Keigo stands there for a beat, waiting and hoping for you to say something in return.

Closing your eyes, you wipe your tears away. “Love you too, Keigie.”
