Lotus Lantern is a story about breaking the cycle

It’s came to my knowledge that some people don’t like the use of Y/n because it takes them out of the reading or something; so I thought I’d get some opinions.

I’ve been playing with the idea of using Yan or Yanchan , since it’s similar to Y/N, but is a bit more namesaking. Does that make sense?

Like as far as names that are well known for their involvement, there's Kjech who been stopped doing art for that game since forever ago, Mulberry who left last yr and was called out for being a tracer. People aint talking about the other artists or musicians like that.

most the voice actors I honestly already knew from other stuff, the biggest is M*chaela who already had her otome game which was pretty notable for being one of the first fully voiced english games and frankly her notability as yanchan was probably more bc she kept shilling for the dev and made them nonstop dumbass rap videos than the actual exposure the project gave her. I deadass had no idea who was senpai at ALL until.... jsut now cuz I looked it up.

i deserve yanchan more than yandere dev tbh so here’s a couple of headcanons for my favorite girlboss

unlabeled sexuality. ayano doesn’t care what gender her object of affection is; if they fill the hole in her heart she’s absolutely positive they’re bound to her by destiny

she gets protective of her friends, too! i think she has at least one or two close friends. i like the idea of her being besties with kokona <3

she has the biggest sweet tooth, and is pretty good at baking desserts!

they like casual games like animal crossing and minecraft! they feel like the type to beat villagers with their net to get them to leave lmao. their favorite villager is merengue!

they love horror games as well, but they’re very picky. psychological horrors are usually a safe bet, but give her anything past fnaf 3 and she’ll look at you like you’re insane.

big marble hornets/everymanhybrid fan. was probably into habit and slendy.

The Aishi’s are an experiment by Saiko corp to create the Perfect japanese woman.

Success- black hair dark eyes pale skin,extrodinary strength,resistance to diasease,intelligence,loyal

Backfires-Mostly accepts female embyros in body,miscarries males.3% chance of giving birth to a son. Obessive,tendency for becoming a sociopath,manipulative nature

Aishi’s are versitale and adaptive beings,they’ll blend in to their enviroment.They can have many faces.Not all aishi’s are homicidal,some use other manipulative techniques to ensure their love is theirs.Such as matchmaking,social rejection,brain washing ect.

Saiki keeps an eye on the Aishi’s as they are intelligent enough to not trust saiki corp,other wise they’d kill them all.

Ryoba Aishi is the only Aishi to learn the full truth.

She fell in love with a boy,who she knew would reject her because of the court case. She was about to snap when she fell in love with Togo Atatsuma.Who she later married.She became an assasin for the Atatsuma yakusa family.She is the only Aishi to “break the curse”.Now she’s the perfect woman.Saiko corp allows yan chan at school in hopes of recreating Ryoba’s reaction.

This explains why Yanchan’s mom is such a good killer,and why Saiko corp allows yanchan at their school.Also i like the Ryogo ship.

Ayano doesn’t know about her parent’s yakusa affiliation.In this universe the takisa never fell out of power and works alongside Saiko corp.

Known Family Members

Ryoba Aishi- Ayano’s mother,refused to take husband’s surname as precausion for yakusa affairs.Same applies to Ayano.

Ayaka Aishi- Ayano’s cousin,known as the matchmaker.

Aki Aishi- Ayano’s aunt,used bullying to isolate victims and ruin reputations.

*During the week Ayano can call her aunt and cousin for advice for various elimination methods.
