"I can't believe you talked me into doing this." You look at Kat in your mirror as you rummage through your clothes.
She laughs, "Oh come on. There will be alcohol so you can just relax, drink and hang out."
"You had me at alcohol." You laugh and hold your a top, "Hows this?" She tilts her head and purses her lips, "mm. It's cute, but I think you need something different."
"Is that what you're wearing?" You point to her outfit and she nods, "Yes." You hold your hand up, "Hang on."
You walk out to your living room, grabbing a box of clothes that you got sent, "There might be something.." you dump the box, ".. in here."
"Oh yeah. Most definitely." Kat nods with a laugh as she goes through the clothes, "Ooh, this. Definitely this."
Your eyes move over the black, lacey tank top that's in her hands, "A cute skirt or a pair of jeans will make this so much better." She adds and tosses it to you.
You catch it and nod, "I'll try it on."
"Well hurry up, we have to be at Sam and Colby's in the next hour." She lays back, scrolling on her phone as you change.
"Did you say Colby?" You walk out slowly and she smiles up at you, "I did.."
"He's doing this livestream with us?" You fix the tank top so it sits right, "Is this some sort of set up by you and Sam?"
She sits up with a sigh, "You got us." She raises her hands, "I think it'll be fun. Plus we'll be live, so it's not like anything crazy can happen.
You drop your hands and they slam on your thighs, "have you seen your livestreams?"
She holds her hands up, "it wasn't my idea. It was Sam's." You scoff, trying not to laugh, "But you went with it."
"If it makes you feel any better, it'll be just you and me at first. Sam offered for him and Colby to join us once they got back from meeting someone about a place they're going next week. Also. Speaking of. We're going with them."
You groan and turn to look in the mirror, "Fine." You smirk at her in the mirror, "But only because you're going."
"Whatever you say, y/n." She rolls her eyes and laughs, "Now come on. We gotta get going. I tweeted that we'll be on by six and it's almost five thirty."
.·:*¨ ✘ ¨*:·.
"Ready?" Kat looks over at you and you fix yourself in the screen of the computer, "Okay, yes now I'm ready."
You lean back in your chair and watch as she starts, waiting for people to join, "Hi guys! How are you?"
"Hey!" You smile and hold up your hand, reading the comments that are starting to flow in, "Oh thanks. Kat actually dressed me tonight. So tell her."
You laugh and look over at her. She smiles, "Yeah, I'll take credit for that because you look.." she licks the tip of her finger and lays it on your arm, "Tsss."
You laugh as she makes a sizzling sound, "I do. I do."
"Alright. So Sam and Colby will be joining us a little later, but for right now. I figured y/n and I could start off with a little game."
"Oh god." You mumble and watch as she puts a bottle of alcohol and two shot glasses on the stand in front of you two, "Oh no." You laugh and look over at her, "What game do you have planned?"
"Just a little.. do or drink." She smirks, "Nothing bad I promise." She pulls out a small box containing cards and opens it, "Alright. You want to go first?"
You sigh, "You know what? I will." You laugh and pull out a card, "Hmm. Okay." You turn to her in your chair and look up at her, "what is one thing.. you dislike about me?"
"Oh gosh." She blinks as she thinks for a moment, "Honestly, I hate the way that you can just roll out of bed and look good."
You smile and bat the air, "Stop it."
She laughs, "I'm serious. You're just that pretty."
"Well thank you." You laugh slightly and motion towards the box, "Pick your poison."
She reaches up, picking one of the cards, "Ooh my god." She giggles and lays the card over her lips. You lean forward, "Oh no. What is it?"
She smirks, "Send 'can't wait to see you' to the last person you texted or drink."
You pull your phone out, and go to your messages, looking at the threads, "The last person I texted was.." you laugh slightly, "Katrina."
"Who is it?" She wheels herself over and leans around to look at your phone, "Oh. You have to. You freaking have to, y/n."
You bite your lip as you tap on Colby's name, Can't wait to see you.
You lean forward after locking your phone and read the comments on the screen, "Sorry guys. That's a secret." You laugh and lean back, looking up at Kat when your phone goes off.
She motions for you to read it and you can't help but laugh, "They said, are you and Kat playing that stupid drinking game?" You shake your head as you type back, maybe, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm excited to see you.
"Y/n. Damn. You're not even drunk yet." Kat looks at you shocked and you shrug, "Oops." You smile and reach up to pull a card, "Name a couple that you think should break up."
Without any hesitation she pours a shot, "I cant pick just one.." she laughs and takes the shot, instantly chasing it with her water, "Oh gross."
She grabs another card and smirks, "Y/n."
You tilt your head, "Kat."
"Out of.. let's say, me, Sam, and Colby, who is your favorite?" She smirks and you sigh, "I know I'm going to hurt feelings with this one.." you pause and look into the camera then back to Kat, "..pour me a shot."
"Are you not going to answer?" She laughs and you shake your head, "No because it'll hurt their feelings when I say you." You laugh and she throws her head back laughing, "Oh my god. That's great."
You read the comments and see that people are debating on whether it's Colby, even from the previous question.
"Oh god." You groan and take your shot, cringing at the taste, "That's so gross."
She leans in, whispering quietly, "We're you going to say Colby?" You smirk and lean back, looking at her as you nod.
"Ha. I know who her favorite is." She says in a sing song-y tone before she laughs, "It's still me."
You laugh and grab a card, "Katrina. Who was the last person that seen you cry?"
"Like, a sad cry or happy cry?" She asks and you shrug, "Just in general I think." She hums, "Probably... Sam, I think. Or you. I'm with you both so much."
"We might as well just live together at this point." You laugh and she nods, "Honestly. Okay.." she grabs a card and clears her throat, "Have you ever been to a strip club?"
"Like working or visiting?" You try to not smile but fail, "I'm joking you guys. Relax. No I haven't ever been to a strip club."
"I can see it." Kat laughs and you gasp, "Hey." She lays a hand on your knee, "If it makes you feel any better you'd definitely have a big client list, and I know who number one would be." She winks and tries not to laugh so she covers her mouth, "I'm sorry."
You laugh, "oh my god. I need more alcohol for this." You get up, "I'm going to get a white claw, do you-"
"Yes." She cuts you off and points, "Please."
You give her a thumbs up, "I'll be right back." You quickly make your way down the steps and into the kitchen. You open the fridge and grab as many white claws as you can carry.
Colby's voice makes you jump, "Thirsty or something?"
"Goddam it, Colby. I didn't hear you guys come in." You laugh slightly and he walks over, offering to help, "I'm heading up there now, I can take some of these for you."
"Okay." You hand him a couple and look up at him, "Thank you." He smirks, "So.. did you mean to text me earl-"
"I have to get back to Kat." You cut him off, "We can talk about this later." You smirk slightly as you walk away and Colby follows you, "Oh we definitely will be talking about a lot later I can guarantee that."
His words make your cheeks red and warm as you walk into the room Sam and Kat are in, "Out of my chair, Golbach."
You kick it and he spins around, "Excuse me?"
You smirk and hand him a drink, "Now move." He laughs and gets up, moving to sit behind Kat in the beanbag chair. Colby next to him, behind you.
You hand Kat her drink and you both crack one open, cheersing before you each take a sip.
"What the hell. You guys are like.. that was so in sync." Sam shakes his head looking between you and Kat.
You laugh, "That's what happens when you're best friends for this long." Kat tilts her drink towards you, "Correct. Okay. Now where were we?"
"My turn to ask you or one of the boys a question." You smirk as you pick up the card, "Ooh. Colby." You spin your chair towards him, hiding the card so he can't see it, "what's the last thing you googled?"
"Oh snap. Um. Can I look?" He asks pulling his phone out and you nod, "Yes, but you have to show us."
His mouth drops slightly before he sighs, "Fine, I have no shame around you guys anyway." He unlocks his phone and laughs, "oh my god. I totally forgot that I even searched this.." he turns his phone around, showing you and Kat, "I googled if dogs can understand me."
Sam laughs loudly, "Are you serious?" He grabs the phone and starts laughing again, "Oh my god, Colby!"
You and Kat are laughing in your chairs and Colby sighs, "It's a valid question, damn." He reaches up between you and Kat, kinda close to you.
You chew on the inside of your lip as you smell his cologne. It's the same one you got him for Christmas a few months ago.
He moves back and sighs, "Alright. Sam. This one is for you." He turns towards Sam, "What is the most embarrassing things you have ever done?"
Sam sighs, "twerking on that cruise."
You and Kat look at each other and laugh, "Oh my god." You look at Sam, "I forgot about that."
Sam chugs some of his drunk, "Yeah, I haven't." He laughs and leans forward, giving Kat a kiss on the cheek as he reaches for a card.
You glance up at the screen, looking at Colby through the camera, and he smiles at you, looking away, "who's it for?"
Sam laughs slightly, "y/n. What's the dirtiest text you ever sent to someone?"
Colby clears his throat, "Yeah, y/n. What's the dirtiest text you've ever sent to someone." He shrugs as he smirks and you lean up, pouring yourself a shot and taking it.
You wash it down with your drink and sigh, "That's for me to know and no one else to find out."
You grab a card, laughing slightly as you look at Kat, "Katrina. If you had to kiss someone who isn't your boyfriend, who would it be?"
She shrugs and laughs slightly, "That's easy."
Sam leans forward, "Oh is it?"
She looks at Sam, laughing as she points to you, "Y/n."
He raises his eyebrows, "Huh. Not where I thought that was going."
"Prove it. Prove it. Prove it." Colby chants quietly behind you guys and you look at him, "Maybe when I'm a little bit more drunk."
He chuckles, "Mhm."
Kat picks up a card, glancing at Sam before taking a deep breath, "y/n. What's your biggest turn off?"
You suck air between your teeth, "Probably insecurity. Like..for example.." you shift around in your seat, "..if I wanted to wear this out to a bar or something, who ever I'm with shouldn't get mad at me for it you know?"
Kat nods, "Oh hell yeah, girl. Like who ever you're with.." she glances to Colby and smirks, "They should know that you're only looking good for them. Not fight with you about it."
"Exactly. Yes." You can feel the alcohol settling in, along with Kat because you're both super giggly.
You pick up a card and read it. You can tell Colby is staring at you, you can feel it.
So you turn to him with a smile, "Colby."
"Y/n." He smiles and tilts his head as he brings his drink up to his lips.
"This is actually an easy one. Take three shots or quit playing." You watch as he nods, "Give me three shots."
One by one, you pour him shots into your shot glass and hand them to him.
"Still got it." He laughs and points, "Hand me a card please." You reach up, grabbing a card and handing it to him.
He leans back, "Kat. What is the biggest secret you kept from your parents growing up?"
She sighs, "oh no." You lean forward, "Oh Katrina. Do tell." You rest your elbow on your knee, chin in your palm and she sighs, "I was somewhere I wasn't supposed to be. I was to be at my friend Lauren's house but we were at a party in some persons basement.. drinking."
You bat the air, "Oh we've all done that."
"Really? You partied when you weren't supposed to?" Colby laughs, "I don't believe that." You roll your eyes and stand up, "Pause. I have to pee."
Kat laughs, "Enjoy your pee."
"You guys are drunk." Sam says, and you can tell he's moving to your chair.
You go to the bathroom, looking at yourself in the mirror. You take a deep breath, but you can't help but giggle as you think about Colby.
His hand around his drink when it really should be around your neck.
His rings pressing against your skin in all the right ways.
His lips, dragging up and down the skin or your neck.
You bite your lip, laughing slightly as you shake your head, pushing the thoughts out to do your business.
Once you're done, you make your way back to the room and take Sam's spot. You sit down, and they all look at you.
"What?" You ask pointing to your drink. Kat hands it to you and she shakes her head, "Nothing. We were just waiting for you." She laughs and hands you a card.
You read your card to yourself, smirking as you look at Colby, "What is your least favorite thing about me?"
Sam gives a low, "Oooh shit."
"Bold." Kat whispers and you can tell she's secretly cheering you on. She crosses her leg over the other, staring intently between you and Colby, "Well? Colby. Are you going to answer or.."
He smirks and shakes his head, "I'll say it. But I'm not saying it for everyone to hear."
Your heart rate picks up as you perk up, unsure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
"Where's the fun in that?" Sam groans, "Say it. Say it. Say it."
Colby reaches over, grabbing your arm to pull you over to him. You lean into him naturally and he rests his cheek against yours, whispering as quiet as possible, "The only thing I don't like about you, is the fact that you're not mine."
He slowly leans away, smirking at you as you look at him, "Really?"
He nods, "Yeah, it's real annoying, actually."
You look down as you try not to smile, but you fail so you cover it with taking a sip of your drink.
"What did he say?" Kat leans forward, almost falling off her chair but your laughing distracts everyone until Sam yells, "Colby!" He hands him a card, "your turn, brother."
Colby takes it, nodding as he laughs slightly, "this one is for both of the girls."
You and Kat look at each other, "Oh no."
"The girls must take three shots in a row, or quit playing." Colby tosses the card down and looks between you and Kat.
"Give me the glass." You hold your hand out and Colby gently places it in your hand, he still had it from when he took his three.
Sam pours both, you and Kat's shots and you clink the small glasses each time before taking the shots, laughing as you finish the third.
"They're about to be fucked up." Sam laughs and Colby shakes his head, "Yeah, yeah they are." He looks to you, winking as you lean back in the chair, "Kat, you can go."
.·:*¨ ✘ ¨*:·.
At this point, you all are feeling pretty damn good. If you stood up, you feel like you could fall over, but you had no issue moving closer to Colby.
The drunker you got, the more you wanted to be with  him. Next to him. Anything.
Kat and Sam are talking, reading the comments and laughing together as you and Colby have a quiet conversation behind them.
"Did you mean what you texted me earlier?" He whispers leaning in and you nod, "yeah..yeah. I did actually." You look up at him with a smile, "if I'm be-"
"Y/n!" Kat yells your name and you look over at her, "What?!"
She laughs, "Tell them.. tell them about when we went to the mall and that lady who walked into us."
Your eyes go wide, "Oh my god." You start to laugh, "We were walking out of the one store and this lady ran into us, started bitching that we needed to watch where we were going and not even ten seconds later, fucking walks right into the one sign." You laugh with Kat, "Fucking smacks her face and spills her coffee all over her white dress. Ah. It was hilarious."
Colby stares at you, smiling as he admires how pretty you are when you laugh, "She sounds like she deserved it."
You look at him, leaning over as you nod, "Oh yeah. Totally deserved it."
Colby leans in, whispering in your ear, "You know you're so pretty when you laugh." He leans back and smiles at you.
You roll your eyes and lean over, laying a hand on his knee as you support your weight to put your lips next to his ear, "I'd look even prettier under you."
You were way past feeling bold.
He laughs slightly, taken aback by what you said, "Really?"
He spoke loud enough to catch Sam and Kat's attention and he looks up at them. You look up at them and start laughing, "Oh my god."
"Wanna share with the rest of the class?" Sam laughs and you shake your head, "No not really."
Colby leans over, resting his head on your shoulder, "We're just having our own little convo back here so mind ya biz." He laughs and you laugh, resting a hand on his head as you lean into him more.
Colby moves his head up to kiss your neck and you giggle, laying a hand on his shoulder.
"Whoooaaaa colbyyyyy!" Sam drags out his yell, "Whoa whoa whoa."
Kat's mouth is open, staring as Colby leans up, "Oh stop it. How can you not look at her."
"Colby." You lean over, "You're drunk."
He leans in, close to your face, "So are you."
"So are we." Kat laughs as she leans forward, resting her head on Sam's leg, "This is so much fun though." She sits up, "We should play a game. Just one more game."
"Ooh, I'm down for another game." You bite your lip and nod, "Whatcha got in mind?"
"Most likely? The person that everyone votes. Drinks." Kat smirks, "Please."
"Only because you're so pretty." Sam reaches over squeezing her chin and she smiles, "Alright. Sam you start."
He chuckles, "Alright.. uhh.. let's see.." he snaps, "who's most likely to accidentally find a portal to another dimension?"
Instantly everyone points to Sam, laughing.
"Wh- oh come on." He groans, "Why me?"
"Because you're always going off on your own when we're doing investigations, Sam." Colby laughs and Sam sighs, taking the shot from Kat, "I walked into that one."
"Yeah, just like you will a portal." You mumble and fall over onto Colby's lap as you laugh.
Sam glares at you and Kat pats his leg, "She said what we're all thinking." She sighs, "Okay. I'll go." She leans back in her chair, "Who's most likely to get a random tattoo on a night out?"
Colby points to you while the rest of you point to him and he scoffs, "What the hell?"
"I honestly think I would, so I'll take a shot with you." You smile and take the glass, holding it up for Kat to pour you and Colby a shot.
He smiles, "Aw how sweet of you."
"You have no idea." You mumble as you cheers him, taking the shot like nothing, "Alright. I'll go." You set your glass down, biting your lip as you think.
You laugh slightly as you sigh, "Who's most likely to have handcuffs in the bedroom." You raise your eyebrows and smirk, "one.. two.. three."
You and Sam point to Colby and Kat and Colby point to Sam.
Sam and Colby look at each other and start laughing. Kat turns to you, "They have matching ones." You look at Colby, "Do you?"
He shrugs, "Maybe." His eyes move to you as his bottom lip pulls between his teeth. You raise an eyebrow, "Mm."
Colby leans back, "Who's most likely to lose their clothes on a night out?" His eyes move to you and everyone is pointing to you.
"Huh!? Why me?" You point to yourself, "I don't lo-"
"Yes you do. Last weekend you lost your coat and one of your shoes." Kat laughs, "I'm not judging but it would be you."
You laugh, "Okay. Okay. That- it was a coat and a shoe." You argue, "But fine. I'll take it."
"When you lose it here at least you'll know where to find it." Sam mumbles and you about spit out your shot, "Shut it, Golbach."
He laughs and shrugs, nodding to Colby, "I'm just saying."
Kat looks at the screen and taps Sam, "They want to know what you said."
"No." You say quickly, "It's fine." You laugh and rest your head back, "who's most likely to have a new ghost up their ass each week." You lift your head and look at Sam, "Hmm?"
"That is so.. that's so not true." He huffs, trying not to laugh. You tilt your head, "Oh yeah? Then why does everyone you do an investigation with say you're the one they'll go for?"
"You know what?" Sam sets his drink down on the desk and turns, staring at you while Colby and Kat are dying with laughter over you and Sam arguing, "Who's most likely to.." he pauses, trying to think of something, but just sighs, "I got nothing."
"Ha! Suck it." You laugh and sigh, "I need to lay down. Those shots are kicking my ass." You stand up, holding onto the back of Kat's chair, "Goodnight party people, y/n is tapping out."
"Night!" Kat yells before yawning, "Yeah I might.. I might be done too."
You walk out, hoping Colby follows you, but you can still hear him talking to Sam and Kat.
You bite your lip, making your way into his room, shutting the door quickly behind you. You turn, eyes scanning over his room as you walk over to his bed, unbuttoning your jeans.
You walk over to his dresser, grabbing one of his shirts and walking over to the bed. You toss it down, stripping down to just your panties before sliding his shirt over your head.
You move the blankets, sitting down and swinging your legs onto the bed before covering up. You move around, getting comfy before you take a selfie and send it to Colby.
You lay your phone down, turning away from the door as you hear footsteps coming closer. His door opens quietly and you bite your lip, not moving.
You feel the bed dip down next to you and you feel a hand lay on your waist, "Whatcha doin' in here, pretty girl?"
You slowly roll over onto your back, "Your bed is comfier than the one in the guest room."
"Is that so?" He brushes hair from your face, "You can sleep here anytime you want."
"I plan on it." You smile as you giggle and he tilts his head, "Yeah?"
You nod, "Oh yeah." You lay a hand on his, slowly dragging it up and down his arm, "So you really weren't the last person I texted.."
He furrows his brows, "Huh?"
"Kat was the last person I texted, but I wanted to text you so I just said you were." You look up at him and he smirks, "you're so pretty."
His thumb brushes against your cheek, "What made you change your mind?"
You let out a sigh, "I'm happy when I think about you. When I'm with you. Talking about you." You shrug, "You make me happy. I was just too stu-"
He cuts you off with his lips on yours.
He leans back slightly, "You're not stupid."
You laugh slightly, "If I wasn't we would have been to-"
"Don't. You had your reasons and now we're here." He turns your head to look at him, "Drunk in my bed.." he kisses your cheek, "Speaking those sober thoughts."
You laugh slightly, laying a hand on his cheek, "Mhm."
He turns his head, kissing the palm of your hand, "You have no idea how many times I've wanted to just come pick you up and bring you to my bed."
You bite your lip, "really?"
"Not even for sex or anything.. I mean, yeah.." he laughs slightly, "I've thought about you in so many ways, but mainly just to be with you. Holding you." His hand slides down your body, slipping under the covers, "Tell me to stop and I will."
"Don't." You say quickly and spread your legs, "Please don't."
He leans in, kissing down your neck, "Tell me what you want, babe."
"You." You whisper and look up at him, "I want you."
He slips his hand into the band of your panties, "I've dreamed of hearing those words."
You whimper slightly as his fingers press down to your clit, "Colby.." you moan quietly as he draws small circles.
"You're all I think about." He gently bites down on your jaw, "I swear, you've taken over my life but in the best way."
You turn your head, crashing your lips onto his, making out slow as he slowly slides his fingers down, dipping them inside of you
You dig your nails into his arm, arching your back as you pull yourself closer to him. You slip your hand down and slip them into his sweats.
He groans lowly as you stroke him, “That feel good?” His voice is low against your lips, “Tell me.”
“So, so good, Colby.” You squeeze his fingers, whimpering as you feel yourself growing closer to the edge, “Fuck..”
“Your sounds are so beautiful.” He leans back, moaning as you swipe your thumb over the head of his cock, watching as your face scrunches and your eyes flutter shut.
“I-I need you..” you whimper, squeezing your hand around his cock, “Please.”
“Let’s just take it slow, babe. We’ll get to that.” He kisses your lips, “I promise.”
You nod, tilting your head back as you moan, “Fuck, fuck.”
“Cum for me, pretty girl.” Colby rests his forehead against your temple, “You’re so close.”
You turn your head, looking over at him. He presses his lips to yours, moaning against them as you continue to slowly stroke his cock, “C-Colby.”
“All about you baby. I’m okay.” He speeds the thrusts of his fingers up, watching as you squirm under him, “Come on, pretty girl. You can do it.”
His words egged you to cum more, “Fuck.” You whimper and the knot that’s been working in your belly snaps.
You gasp, arching your back as your thighs squeeze his arm, “Shit, shit, shit.”
“That’s it, baby girl. That’s it.” Colby whispers as he peppers your face with kisses, slowly pulling his fingers out.
He brings them up to his lips, licking them off with a groan while you watch in awe. He reaches down, slipping your hand from his sweats and lays next to you, pulling you into him.
Your body fit perfectly into his, like you were made for him.
“I just want to lay with you.” He whispers as he twirls your hair, “We can get to that other stuff later.”
You weren’t going to argue with him. You’re just glad you’re there.

I'm not scared! Colby Brock x MotoGPDriver! Reader Part 1
Plot: You made a tweet about Sam and Colby and were in a podcast and they brought up Sam and Colby where you talked about the paranormal and how it doesn't really scare you because you drive motorcycles at over 200mph.
A/N: This has been sat in my drafts for a while coz i was kinda scared to post it, coz its a new reach of people I'm looking for.
Tumblr media
It started off with a silly little tweet you'd made in the summer break when you werent racing. You didn't feel like watching old F1 or MotoGP races and there was no movie that immedielty came to mind.
So you scrolled through youtube. At first it was a documentary about the ocean, and you had to switch it out. Which is how you came across a channel called Sam and Colby, two American boys who... well you didn't actually think they had a 'thing:
Your YouTube consisted solely of vlogs and car/bike videos that you did. That was your niche. However these two didn't seem to have a specific niche, you perused them seeing that they vlogged and did challenges and prank video and even back in the day were part of vine.
The most recent things they'd been sticking too by the looks of things were these paranormal investigations. They went to these haunted places with cool gear and filmed the experience. You were very intruiged as the paranormal was something you'd believed in just never interacted with.
After watching them bring people on, and be scared shitless you knew you'd boss something like this.
You were alone in your house, drinking which is where the tweet actually came from.
Tumblr media
There was a lot of action from both fans of motorsport and YouTube fans. You of course got some hate from the tweet from the YouTube side and hence started the fued between your fans and Colby and Sam fans.
It wasn't until the podcast you went on that the duo took notice of you.
"So today I'm here in the studio with Y/N, now this I think is an intertsing podcast for both of us, because you've only been on Motorsport related ones so far correct?"
"Yes" you smile nodding. You'd actually been on a few podcasts as you really enjoyed talking to people and hearing their stories and being able to talk about your own experiences and hardships.
You started of with the generic motorsport questions, that were all angled at you being a woman in motorsport. Which you enjoyed as you knew getting to the position you had now was a hard hard feat you managed to overcome.
He then got onto more general questions about you life, which again you were happy to answer.
"I do have something that people asked me to ask when we first annouced you here and that was about the tweet with Sam and Colby?" he says looking to his notepad making sure he was keeping in his order.
"Mmmm, what about it?" you smile knowing this was going to be a thing.
"So you basically said along the lines of, if you were in a Sam and Colby video that you wouldn't be scared, why is that?" he asks tilting his head to the side.
"Well, not much scares me when i drive motorbikes at roughly 250 kmph. You know, I've come off those bikes and had my life flash before my eyes as I go into the barrier. One of my worst crashes nearly killed me, but I got back on the bike, one I healed and I won my first race back in Lusial. As part of the Red Bull family I've helped them with some crazy challanges, beat Max Verstappen in an F1 car and lots more. So i think it would genuinely take a lot to scare me!" you smile explaining your thought process behind your tweet and how you think you'd genuinely react.
"So I'm guessing you'd be like down to collab with them at some point!" he asks.
"Yeah of course, I know these things take time to plan so obviously you know with both our busy schedules it probably wouldn't be anytime soon, but you never know!" you grin and after a few more questions before the podcast ends.
It was around a week later, you were in your home gym getting some weight training in when a message dings up. You stop the current exercise your doing to check it.
It was an instagram DM from the Sam and Colby official account. You click on the notification to go onto the chat to look at what they'd messaged you.
Tumblr media
Of course you immedielty replied. You exchanged numbers with both the boy's before Colby made a group chat asking when you were free.
It was harder to find times than you expected, the next time you all would be free was during your winter break from racing. Which was risky to confirm anything, especially to their fans as anything could happen to you in that time.
You agreed on a date and time to tell your fans.
The next step was you inviting them to a race weekend, you wanted to meet them but obviously didn't have much time between races. So you invited them to your home race at Silverstone in the United Kingdom.
They decided to make it a whole thing, where they explored some haunted places across England after coming to see you at your race.
You decided to meet them at the airport first and you couldn't hold in your nerves to meet them, you never had the best people skills which is probably why you went into the career path that you did.
You waited for them in the arrivals area, it wasn't too busy due to the time of the day, just a few business men in suits. You looked around for a board to see when their plane had landed, but could find one.
"Y/N?" you hear from behind you.
A/N: I don't know what the fandom's like on here, but I just like writing about cool situations that help with writers block for writing my book! If you follow me for F1 and General Motorsports this is me branching out my writing into another hyper fixation of mine that’s been around for a while!

breaking the distance. |c.b|
Tumblr media
summary: You and Colby have been dating for nearly two years, enduring long distance and making the best out of time zones and chaotic work/ school schedules. The two of you knew one day the distance would be shortened to where there would be no more planes needed to see each other, and date night could finally be more than just facetiming and watching a movie together at the same time. One of you just happened to know it would be happening sooner rather than later.
~*~*~*~*~*~
No one ever expected Colby and I’s relationship to last, and I couldn’t really blame them. On the outside looking in, It seemed like it was a storm waiting to happen. Colby, a very well known social media content creator, constantly traveling and investigating new locations with his best friend in and outside the country, and lives on the west coast of the united states. Me, a non social media content creator, studying emergency paramedicine, lives on the east coast, and never even had a passport until two months ago. The main thing people always loved to throw at us was the distance. ‘Why date someone who lives a 5 hour plane ride away, when there’s plenty of people here in the same state for you to choose from?’
I personally didn’t fully expect us to be where we are right now when I met Colby over two years ago. It’s crazy how things happen though, how quickly you connect with a person. It’s as if I’d known him my whole life, as if I was connecting with an old friend I hadn’t seen in years that night at the bar. We talked and talked for hours, the rest of the crowded bar tuned out and all I saw was him. Colby and his friends he had traveled to the east coast with a few days later after we first ended up coming over to my apartment for a game night after constantly texting and getting to know each other more. Ironically, one of his friends that came with him, I knew from my childhood. Talk about a small world.
The buzzing of my cellphone in my hand snapped me out of the daydream I was in. A smile quickly spread across my face as I spotted Colby’s name on the caller ID before answering.
“Finally waking up, Mr. Brock?” I smiled as I held the phone to my ear.
“I’m so sorry beautiful, I slept through my alarm. I totally planned on waking up earlier to be able to talk to you in case you began to stress over your exam today.” His morning voice was something that always caught me off guard, the deep rasp. It always made me yearn for the day I’d be able to hear it in person, and not over the phone.
Of course over the past two years we’ve met up and spent time together, however it was usually when him and Sam were on a trip to film or when I had a small break between semesters at school and could afford to visit him.
“It’s okay Colby, I promise.” I smiled to myself and attempted to contain my excitement as I scanned the empty apartment once more. “I’ve been just cleaning and relaxing on the couch. I think if I tried reading any more of my textbooks my eyeballs might fall out of my head.”
Colby chuckled as my apartment door swung open, and I quickly muted myself as Seth, the friend of Colby’s that I’ve known since childhood came in. “Who’s ready to mo- oh shit, are you on the phone?” He quickly covered his mouth with a hand.
“Yeah, with Colby.” I giggled before giving him a ‘shh’ and taking myself off mute.
“You’re going to do great. You always do great. This is the final bridge needing to be crossed and then I’ll be able to have you in my arms every night and hear about the crazy encounters you have at work in person. God, I can’t wait for that to be real, beautiful. I miss you so much.”
“I can’t believe that it’s finally here. Just this semester and then I’m done, graduated, nationally registered to work anywhere in the country. By the way, My supervisor reached out to the base that’s not far from where you live, and they have an open paramedic spot that is up for grabs.” I bit my bottom lip and glanced at Seth who also shared the same nervous look.
I’ve always hated lying, and lying to Colby these past few months have been absolute torture. But he’s always the one surprising me, I wanted to finally surprise him. I ended up taking an earlier program that Colby didn’t know about, which allowed me to graduate and become a paramedic three months ago. However, Colby still thought I had another two months to go. During this time since finishing school, I’ve been working and studying protocols for the state I’d be moving to, coordinating with Sam on shipping my stuff to Vegas from New England without Colby seeing the boxes, selling stuff I don’t need to bring, and basically getting ready to move to Vegas. Of course, Colby knew this day would be coming, as we have a whole checklist we share on google docs to make sure we have everything lined up for when the day comes, He just doesn’t know it’s happening sooner. Or that I’m going to be there, in like 12 hours.
“Baby, Is it okay if I let you go? I can call you back later. I have to bring my phone to the apple store, I finally got an appointment to get my battery fixed.” I ran a hand through my hair, constantly reminding myself mentally the lying would be over soon.
“Oh good, I’m so glad you got that appointment babe, I have to get going anyway. Sam and I have to go meet up with some friends to film a video, but text or call me as soon as you finish your exam okay? I love you.”
After saying goodbye and hanging up, I groaned and laid back on the empty granite counter. “Dude, no wonder you hate lying. Thank god that wasn’t a facetime call or one look at your face and Colby would see your face and just know you were hiding something.” Seth chuckled and I flipped him the bird.
“Can we go get coffee before we head to the airport? This whole not having my own car thing sucks.” Seth chuckled once more before nodding and holding out his rental keys that I snatched out his hand before he could speak. “Yes, I’ll drive. You drive worse than my grandmother.”
~
“Now boarding Group A.”
“I’m really flying to Vegas without a return ticket.” I mumbled as I handed my ticket to the flight attendant at the gate. I glanced over my shoulder at Seth who stood behind me, laughing. “You’re finally moving to Vegas. Which means Sam and I won’t have to hear Colby talk about how much he misses your voice all the time and try to figure out what haunted places we could go see near where you live.”
“Are you sure he won’t question why my phone is off for over five hours? I mean we don’t talk on the phone all day every day, but we usually check in over text to say Hi and that we miss each other or something. I don’t think a phone battery replacement would take five hours.” I buckled my seatbelt once Seth and I got to our assigned seats. “You seriously worry too much.” Seth patted my hand as he smiled. “We’ve got it all figured out. He isn’t going to have any time to check his phone with what they’re filming.”
“This is going to be a long ass five hours, Seth. This is why teleportation should be a thing. I could already be there, with Colby.” I sighed as I turned to look out the window, anxiously tapping my foot on the ground. Seth laughed and out of the corner of my eye, I spotted him hold his phone out to take a photo.
“Don’t you dare post that.” I looked at him wide eyed, which caused Seth to laugh more. “Relax, It’s a video. For memories.” I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms across my chest. “Should I yell it out now that you’re a paramedic, just in case there’s a medical emergency?”
“Don’t you dare. I’m too nervous to provide any care, nor do I want to start my career as a medic off by taking care of someone on a plane. Why aren’t we moving yet?” I peered up and around the seats, huffing as I noticed not everyone was seated.
“God this is going to be so funny to look back on.” Seth mumbled as he put his phone down.
~*~
“I’ve got all your stuff in the storage unit, and your car should be arriving in the next few days.” Sam smiled as he drove Seth and I from the airport. Colby was back at the house editing and thinking Sam had just gone out to get food for the two of them. “It’s really good to finally see you, by the way. Colby is going to lose his mind.”
“I’m so nervous.” I mumbled looking out the window of the car and taking in the change of scenery. “He thinks I’m still in my exam right now.”
“Oh I know. Dude is a love sick puppy right now.” Sam laughs and gives me a smile. “Once we get to the house, I’m going to go inside to ask Colby to come out and help me grab some stuff from my car, but in reality it will only be you.” He added while Seth readjusted the camera on the dash of the car. I nodded and prayed we’d be arriving at the house soon.
Once at the house, I laid down in the back seat of the car to hide until Colby came out. “Yeah it’s on the passenger side in the back, If you can just grab it for me as well as the camera!” Sam called out, signaling that Colby was coming my way. Before I knew it, the door was swung open and I quickly sat up and smiled as my eyes landed on Colby. “Surprise!”
Colby stared in shock for a moment, eyes wide with confusion. Next thing I knew, He was grabbing my legs and pulling me out of the vehicle and up into his arms. My arms quickly wrapped around his neck, resting my head on his shoulder and wrapping my legs around him as he held me. “What is going on?” Colby yelled out, turning to glance at his friends back at the doorway before slamming the car door and moving so I was pressed against it and using one of his hands to pull my head back so he could see my face. “You have an exam?” His eyebrows furrowed.
“Baby.” I laughed softly. “Oh my gosh I’ve absolutely hated lying to you. I graduated early, That’s why I was so busy over break and couldn’t see you. I didn’t tell you because I wanted to surprise you by being able to finally be here sooner than you thought.” I cupped his face in my hands and blinking back tears as I finally got a good look at him. “I can’t believe I’m here.”
“I missed your graduation?” He frowned, resting his forehead against mine. “I’m so confused baby.” He quickly closed the distance between us and kissed me gently. “But dear god have I been dying to kiss you.” He mumbled against my lips.
“No, It was a winter graduation so there’s no walk you didn’t miss anything.” I kissed him once more. “But I’m here. no more distance. It’s finally broken.” I ran a hand through his hair as I stared into his blue eyes. Colby pulled me closer once more and began kissing me again, deeper this time before beginning to head towards the house. “You guys should probably head our for a while.” Colby mumbled as he passed Sam and Seth, his gaze still set on me. “Already planned on it. We’ll be back later. Welcome home!” Sam called out as Colby walked away from them, still carrying me. I let out a small laugh and began kissing Colby’s cheeks and playing with his hair at the nape of his neck.
“I can’t believe you lied.” Colby fake pouted as he gently tossed me on his, ours now, bed before climbing on top of me. “But it was so worth it.” He mumbled before kissing me. “Now it’s time for me to welcome you home.” He smirked.

Scared out of my mind - Colby Brock
Pairing: Colby Brock x fem!reader
Word count: 3.1k
Warnings: angst, fluffy ending, talk about ghosts/paranormal activity, mentions of murder and suicide (in the story as of why the place is haunted), fainting, cursing, not proofread
You groan as the covers of your bed get violently ripped off of you. At the foot of your bed, Sam is standing with a shit-eating grin, blankets in one hand and a camera in the other. Colby on the other hand, pulled your curtains open. You immediately bury your head in the pillow in an attempt to escape the sudden light.
“Is this some sort of prank? Or just straight up torture?” You whine, earning a laugh from both of the boys.
“Sweetheart, it’s almost 2 P.M.” Colby deadpans, and it’s a good thing that your head is hidden in the pillows, because your face immediately heats up at the nickname.
“So?” Your voice sounds muffled but the annoyance is evident in it.
“As you guys can see, Y/N is not much of a morning person.” Sam says, probably to the camera, and you flip him off without looking.
“We’re going to the Drayman’s Manor. Wanna come?” Colby asks and his voice makes you turn on your back to face him. You gaze into his blue eyes just a second too long before answering.
“On one condition though…”
“Anything.”
“Really?”
“No.”
You sigh. “Gimme the blankets back please?” You plead, and make grabby hands at Sam. Colby almost aww’s out loud at the sight of you pouting just for the covers.
Sam laughs and throws the material over you, covering you from head to toe. “Alright. We leave in an hour!” He shouts before exiting the room.
You push the blanket away from your face, and see Colby still standing there.
You raise your eyebrows at him. “What are you still doing here?”
“I wanted to make sure you actually got up, knowing you.” He replies and you laugh.
“Good point.” You get up and walk towards your dresser, and Colby has to physically restrain every atom in his body to look at anything but you. Your hair was messy, your eyes still sleepy and the sleep shorts you were wearing made Colby’s mind wander to places it probably shouldn’t.
You turn and face him again and giggle at his expression. “Cat got your tongue?” You tease, bending over to grab something and purposely pushing your ass out a little more.
Colby clears his throat awkwardly and starts walking to the door. “I’m gonna-… I’m gonna wait outside. Yeah, I’m gonna do that.” He says, whispering the last part to himself.
--  time skip cuz im lazy
A couple of hours later you were standing in front of the Drayman’s Manor, together with Sam, Colb and Kat. Sam began the video and introduced you and Kat, and after that you headed inside to meet with the tour guide. Before you got in though, you swear you saw something move on the first floor, behind a window. Blaming it on fatigue, you shake your head and continue walking.
Colby, however, had noticed your discomfort and gently took your hand in his own. “Are you okay?” He asked. You gave him a smile that didn’t quite meet your eyes and replied. “Yeah, I’m just tired. All good.”
Colby seems hesitant, but you had reached to house and the tour guide was coming your way so he joined Sam to film.
“Are you okay with us filming?” Colby asks her.
“Totally! We get a lot of people here who want to document their time here, so it’s no problem.” She replies kindly.
Polly, the guide, immediately takes us up to the first floor, supposedly the most haunted one.
“As you may know, James Drayman bought this manor in the 1850’s for him and his wife, Laura. It was supposed to be a loving family home, but, naturally, it wasn’t.” She says, and Kat shivers.
“How did he afford this place? I mean, it’s a really big house, and I understood that James and Laura weren’t exactly that rich.” Colby asks and Polly nods.
“Correct. James really wanted to do something special for his newlywed wife, so he thought to surprise her with this home. He couldn’t afford it at all, but he somehow managed to convince the seller that he had some sort of loan going on, and he was able to move into the place. However, after a while, it became clear that James didn’t have a loan or the money at all. So he started to force Laura to bear his children, whom he later sold on a market downtown as slaves.”
A/N: I completely made this place and story up and I have no idea if this is historically accurate so just bear with me here, it’s just a story
The whole group fell silent, processing what she had just said.
“His own children?”  You ask to no one in particular. Just then, a cold breeze moves past you and Kat turns to you with wide eyes.
“Did you feel that?” She asks and you nod. “Yeah, almost like a door opened and now the air is flowing in here now.”
Sam and Colby look at each other. “I didn’t feel anything.” Sam says and Colby agrees with him.
“James is known to target women who come here, so…” Polly trails off.
“Oh my god!” Sam shouts and turns the camera to us.
“Why is it always us?” Kat says dramatically and we all laugh.
Polly then takes us to James’ room, old wooden floors and tapestry on the walls. The air immediately felt way thicker here.
“Is it me or is it hot in here?” You ask.
“Yeah no, I feel it too now.” Colby says.
“James tried to keep it a secret that it were his children that he was selling, but as you may expect, a lot of people who worked here knew what was really going on.” Polly says. “Laura had no power whatsoever. She didn’t want to get rid of her children in exchange for money, so one day, she hid a pregnancy from James. How she did that, we don’t know, but she succeeded and gave birth to a girl named Marie. Laura kept Marie hidden for years and when she was old enough, she ‘hired’ her to work at the manor so she could stay close to her.”
“Did Marie know James was her father?” Sam asks.
“Yes, she did. And this is when the story becomes tragic.” Polly says slightly sad, and leads us to Marie’s room.
“After a while, James grew suspicious of Marie. Probably because she had such a close relationship with Laura. He eventually found out that she was his daughter, so he decided to kill her. One night, he came into her room here with some sort of metal pipe. He hit Marie until she died. You can still see the marks on the wall here.” Polly says and she points to the evident holes in the wall.
We once again fall silent, shocked by the actual evidence that was still here.
“It’s almost like he raised the pipe above his head and just went berserk on her.” Sam says quietly, getting closer to the holes in order to get a better shot of it. Polly nods and remains silent for a while, letting us process what had happened here.
“Sadly, that is not where the story ends.” Polly says. “Laura walked in here, and when she saw what had happened, she ran from this room all the way to the other side of the building, towards the kitchen. Come on, I’ll take you there.” She walks out of the room, leading us through what seemed like a complete maze of hallways.
“Y/N.” You hear someone say, so you turn around and look at Colby with raised eyebrows.
Colby looks just as confused. “What?”
“What’s wrong?” You ask. “Why’d you say my name?”
Colby’s eyes grew wider. “I didn’t…”
Seeing as Colby was the last of everyone, you had assumed it was him.
“Oh.” You frown and you feel this wave of stress wash over you. Colby reassuringly puts an arm around you and kisses the top of your head. “It was probably nothing, right?” He says, seemingly also trying to convince himself. You, on the other hand, weren’t so convinced yet. You had heard the voice clear as day.
Trying to forget about it, you catch up with the rest of the group.
“James followed Laura all the way to the kitchen, and in a moment of rage, he took a knife and stabbed his own wife. Then, realizing what he had done, he sadly ended his own life with the same knife.”
“Damn.” Kat mumbles.
“We still think that it’s weird for James to turn on his wife like that. There’s enough evidence to suggest that he genuinely loved his wife a lot, so researchers started to think that he probably had some sort of mental illness.” Polly finishes the story.
“I understood that you wanted to stay the night here?” She asks.
Sam nods. “If that’s possible, yes.”
“Certainly. There are rooms possible for you to stay in at the end of this hallway.”
----
After getting dinner, we went to our room where we would be sleeping to set up the equipment. After setting up the EMF reader, it immediately spiked to orange and everyone freaked out.
“That’s never happened before!” Colby shouts.
“It hasn’t! It normally takes like minutes for it to even spike up a little bit, we’ve never had it spike up that much that quick!” Sam says excitedly. He grabs the camera and after explaining what had happened, he recalibrated the EMF reader just in case, but the same thing happened. Kat set up some flashlights in case there was actually something in the room with us.
“If someone’s here setting off this device, could you please step away for a second to let us know you’re here?” Sam asks, but the EMF reader was still spiked up to orange.
“Did you work or live here? If you did, could you please step away from the device or turn on one of these flashlights? Just tap them and-“ You start, but before you could finish your sentence, one of the flashlights turns on and the EMF reader turns off.
“Okay, thank you very much. Is it okay if we ask you a few questions?” You ask and almost immediately, the flashlight turns back off again. You shiver and sit a little closer to Colby. Sure, you’ve come on investigations before, but you never really get answers like this.
“Thank you. We’re going to use the red flashlight for no, and the blue one for yes. Does that work for you?” Colby tries. Blue flashlights.
“Did you live here?” Kat asks. Red flashlight.
“Did you work here, then?” Sam tries, but no response. We asks a couple of other questions, but we don’t get a response anymore so we decide to try to go to another room. Marie’s room, to be exact.
“Woah…” You suddenly feel nauseous and stumble a bit. Colby rushes to your side and lightly holds you up by your waist.
Sam and Kat just share a knowing look.
“Are you good?” Colby asks concerned.
“Yeah, I just got dizzy. That was weird.” You say and you assure Colby that you’re fine, but his hand linger on your body for just a second too long.
Sam sets up the music box by the door, and pulls out the Ovilus.
“Alright guys, this device here is called the Ovilus. This way, sprits can come up here and talk into it and it’ll give us clear words.” Sam explains.
“Is there something here with us?” Colby asks, and the music box goes off for a split second. We all share a look before moving on.
“Could you maybe give us a sign of who you are? A name, a job, anything.” Colby continues. “ You can come up to this device here and talk into it, that way we’ll be able to communicate.”
“Labor.” The Ovilus spits out after a while.
“So you worked here?” You try.
“Children. Money.”
“Maybe it’s James and he’s talking about his children? He sold them to work, for labor, because he needed money.” Kat suggests and the music box goes off again.
We freak out and Sam’s signature ‘oh my god’ could be heard.
“That’s one of the clearest responses we’ve ever gotten.” Colby says in awe.
“Could you maybe give us any other sign? We heard that you like to touch people, why don’t you prove that?” Sam says.
For a while, nothing happened. But then, for a split second, a clear image was in your mind. A family picture, a man, woman and a daughter. You shoot up and almost fly straight into Colby’s arms, terrified and eyes watery.
“Hey, hey, what’s wrong angel?” He soothes you. His hand gently runs through your hair, the motion calming you a bit. Kat and Sam are looking at you, worried.
You clear your throat and turn in Colby’s arms, facing the others. “I- I’m probably crazy but suddenly I had like this picture clear in my mind, of a man, woman and I think their daughter.” You say, voice shaky.
“What the hell…” Sam mutters.
“Did you make our friend see that picture?” Kat asks.
“People. Show.” The Ovilus says.
“It showed you people?” Kat thinks out loud.
“That’s terrifying.” You say, a shiver running down your spine.
“Are you good with continuing the investigation?” Sam asks and you nod quickly. The last thing you wanted was for their video to be ruined just because you got scared.
After not getting any response in the kitchen, you decided to move onto James’s room. Again, just like on the tour, you immediately felt uncomfortable.
“For the final investigation of tonight, we’re going to do something called the Estes method.” Colby explains. “Sam here is going to put on these noise cancelling headphones, so he can get the clearest responses to the questions we’re asking.” Everyone sat on the floor in a circle like shape, and Sam put on the headphones.
“Is there anyone here with us?” Kat asks.
“Present.” Came Sam’s voice, almost immediately.
“Can you tell us who you are? A name, job,…” Colby says.
“I own this.. and then something.” Sam says.
“I own this house maybe? Is this James?” You whisper, but somehow still loud enough.
“Yes.”
“Holy fuck.” Colby says.
“Alright James, if this is you, could you give us one more clear sign?”
“Murder. Kitchen.” Sam says.
“That’s so fucking clear.” Kat says, astonished.
“James, it is true that you needed to have more children in order to get money?” You say.
“Work. House.”
“He needed them to work so he could pay off this house.” Colby wonders.
“Yeah.. something, I didn’t really get that.” Sam says.
Kat and Colby ask more questions, but you zone out. You’re not sure why, but your eyes are drawn to the hallway. There, in the doorway to the hall, there was something that you never thought you would see. A shadow figure with a hat on, at least six feet tall was standing there, just looking at you. You are so terrified that you freeze on the spot, unable to look away from the figure. You are unaware that by now, your friends are trying to get your attention.
Suddenly, without a warning, the figure moves closer to you quickly and before you know it, it had somehow passed through you. You let out a gasp before you felt your eyes rolling to the back of your head, and everything turned black.
“Y/N?” Colby says as he sees you looking at the door for a while. He turns around himself to look, but there’s nothing there. When he turns his attention back to you, he sees your eyes grow wider before they roll to the back of your head and you’re falling to the floor. Luckily you were already sitting down so you couldn’t hurt yourself that badly.
Colby’s heart is beating so loudly that he thinks the others can hear it too. He cradles your face in his hands and try to stop tears from falling.
“Y/n? Y/n/n, please open your eyes for me sweetheart. Can you hear me?” He tries. In the meantime, Kat had taken Sam out of the estes method.
“Do I need to call an ambulance?” Sam asks, slightly terrified.
“I don’t know, Sam! What’s happening to her?” Colby shouts. He’s terrified, he can’t do anything but hope that you wake up.
“Y/n, please. I love you, just open your eyes for me. I know you can do it.” He pleads. Both Kat and Sam were worried as hell, but they could clearly see how affected Colby was by this. They had never seen him this way.
After what seemed like an eternity, your eyes flutter open and you groan.
“Y/n? Oh, thank god. Can you hear me?” Colby asks.
“What happened?” You ask groggily.
“You passed out.” Kat says, clearly relieved that her best friend was okay.
Colby helps you sit up, and immediately envelops you in a hug. “You scared the shit out of me.” He breathes. Images of the shadow man you saw flood your mind again, and you break down in Colby’s arms, letting the tears flow freely.
“Shh, angel, you’re okay. I got you, everything’s okay.” Colby says gently, kissing your forehead.
“I want to get out of here.” You whisper, and Colby immediately nods and helps you up. “We’re going home sweetheart, don’t worry.”
Sam and Kat give you two some space, staying behind to gather up all the equipment.
Once outside, you finally feel like you can breathe again. The cold night sky feels good against your skin and you close your eyes for a second. Colby gently cups your cheeks and you open your eyes, finding his blue ones looking at you with nothing but worry.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” He whispers. Still at a loss for words, you just stare at him blankly. Your eyes flicker to his lips and back up again. Colby seemingly gets the hint and leans forward slowly, giving you every time in the world to pull away, but you don’t. He gently presses his lips to yours, his hands moving from your face to your hips, pulling you closer to him.
Once he pulls away, you cant help but let out a giggle that makes Colby smile.
“There’s the laugh that I love.” He says and you smile up at him. “I’m so glad you’re okay.” He say quietly, pulling you in for a hug. “I was scared out of my mind.”
"So was I."

As Bad As You Are
Tumblr media
I tapped my nails nervously on the back of my iphone as our uber approached the driveway of an all too familiar house. I bit my lip and closed my eyes thinking about the last time I was here. I swore I'd never be back here. But I'd said that before and here I was...again. This time would be different though. I was stronger, smarter and more importantly, I was no longer his little toy to play with when he was bored.
"Dude are you ok?" Tara asked squeezing my hand as a concerned Devyn turned her head back from the passenger seat.
"Mmhmm." Is all I could manage to mumble out as I gave the girls a reassuring smile. I had to get my shit together and fast. I had been cool about this all day but now as the driver slowed down and suddenly stopped right outside the front door my stomach began to do flips. It always happened when I knew he was close by. Fuck.
We paid for the uber and made our way to the house. "Damn, are we late?" Devyn questioned hearing the loudness of the party through the inside of the door.
"I don't think so. Jake said ten right?" I questioned looking at Tara who rolled her eyes.
"Yeah but Jake's a fucking idiot. He's lucky he's hot or I'd be so done with his stupid shit." She huffed as we laughed. She always said that but we all knew she loved Jake more than anything. Must be nice. Just as we were about to knock on the door it opened in front of us. My heart skipped a beat as I waited to see who was going to be the one to greet us. Please don't be him. Anyone but him.
"Oooooooh! Look who it is!" Sam yelled excitedly running straight to me and lifting me in to a huge bear hug.
"Hey Sammy, happy birthday!" I smiled hugging him back feeling pure relief that it was Sam who had answered the door to us. I had missed him so much.
"Yeah happy birthday Sam!" The girls echoed before making their way through the party to find their respective boyfriends.
"I didn't even know you were back from the big apple. Did you just get here?" He questioned as I nodded a yes. Liar. I closed my eyes knowing I had just lied to Sam. I had been home for a couple of weeks but I wasn't ready to see everyone. I wasn't ready to see him.
"Wow, I'm so glad you're here. I thought you'd be too embarrassed to hang with us now that you're famous." He nudged.
"Sam, I starred in a music video, not a Hollywood movie. Plus you're way more famous than I am." I stated as he shook his head.
"You starred in a music video for a song that you wrote the lyrics to. That's a pretty big deal." Sam said taking a drink from the red cup he was holding. "Kat's gonna freak when she sees her bestie!"  She wasn't the only one.
"KATRINA!" Sam called out as my pink haired best friend skipped through the hallway. Her eyes widening in shock as she saw me standing there.
"Look who it is!" Sam grinned like a child.
"Surprise!" I shouted.
"Oh my god! You're back!" She said jumping in to my arms almost making me lose my balance.
"I'm gonna get you a drink. Just the usual?" Sam asked as I nodded.
"You know it." I smiled politely as Katrina continued to wrap herself around me.
"Is he gone?" She whispered.
"All clear." I giggled as she finally let me go. "Do you think he bought it?" I asked as we both fixed our outfits. "Of course." Sam has no idea you've been back for a while. I promise."
"Thanks for not saying anything." I said wrapping my arm around her. Kat had been the only one out of the whole group to know that I had been home for a bit longer than I let on. She was also the only one who knew why I had stayed away so long in the first place.
"What are best friends for?
"The place looks great. You did such a good job decorating." I stated looking at all the balloons and banners Kat had bought for Sam's birthday. She had been talking about it for so long. She just wanted to give Sam the best night possible.
" I'm so glad you came." Kat grinned placing her head on my shoulder.
"I promised you didn't I? Plus I wouldn't let Sam down. I couldn't hide away for the rest of my life because of....." I paused.
"I know." She whispered holding my hand.
"Here you go ladies!" Sam danced over to us with our drinks placing his arms around both of our shoulders.
"Thank's babe." Kat said kissing him on the cheek. "You're the best Sammy." I said cuddling in to him. As one of his oldest friends I was one of only a few people that always got away with calling him Sammy.
"Am I allowed to say how hot she looks right now?" Sam asked Kat who playfully shoved him towards me. "I think you just did!"
"Sam are you drunk?" I questioned as he looked at me offended. "Why do I have to be drunk to say that you look good?" He fought back. "You do look hot girl." Kat admitted sipping her drink.
"Boy I can't wait to see Nate and Colby fight over you later." Sam joked as I shifted uncomfortably hearing the name of the boy I was trying desperately to forget about.
"Hey babe, I think I heard the door. You should go get it." Kat said pushing Sam towards the door as she caught my hand and led me to a quieter part of the house. "I'm sorry about that." She said with concern in her eyes.
"Kat stop! It's fine honestly. I have to get used to this again. Hearing his name, seeing him. I mean I'm in his fucking house." I said placing my hands on my head.
"He is gonna drop dead when he sees you though." Kat said giving me an evil grin. I laughed a little shaking my head. I wouldn't admit it to anyone but a part of me was aiming to show him what he was missing. I was wearing a little black off the shoulder dress with black fishnet tights. I knew I looked good, I knew exactly what to wear to make him crazy, what not to wear to make him even crazier. I wanted to bring him to his knees like he had done to me.
"Where is he anyway?"
"Upstairs."
"Oh." I laughed rolling my eyes. Typical.
"He's not with anyone if that's what you're thinking. He's finishing up some editing. Actually, Sam mentioned he hasn't seen him with anyone since before you left. That's a long ass time for Colby to go without hooking up." Kat confessed. She was right. Colby had a new girl almost every night.
"Doesn't matter to me anymore. Tonight isn't about him. It's about Sam so let's go find him and get drunk." I said taking her hand as we made our way to find her boyfriend.
A couple of drinks later and I was finally starting to relax. Corey and I had just beaten Jake and Tara at beer pong and we were happily sitting on the kitchen counter taking shots and selfies.
"That's a good one. That's going on insta right now!" He announced uploading the photo and tagging me. "Yeah I liked that, its cute." I agreed.
"Have you seen Colby yet?" Corey asked as I took a shot and shook my head. "Not yet." Hopefully never.
"Well he's gonna be stoked to see you. You don't wanna know how many times I caught him stalking your socials." Corey said stuffing his face with a pizza roll. I looked at him in shock. He had to be messing with me.
"What?"
"Yeah seriously bro."
"Shut up." I half laughed pushing him."
"Dude, for real. I teased him about it once and he got really fucking defensive too." Corey said shaking his head. "Did I miss something? Is there something going on between you two?"
"Are you serious?" Me and...? Why can't I say his name? "No. God no." I chuckled playing with my hair.
"Ok, but I could have sworn......You know what, forget it." He said blushing.
"Forget what?"
"Nothing." He laughed as his eyes widened.
"Corey?" You asserted as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously chuckling. "I could have sworn I walked in on him......jerking off....."
"And? I'm sure that's happened more than once you do live in a house full of testosterone" I teased.
"Yeah but....I'm pretty sure it was to the music video.....you were in." Corey admitted as I almost choked on my drink.
"Okay now I know you're joking because that hasn't even been released yet." I confirmed crossing my legs.
"Wait, you didn't send it to him?" Corey questioned as I shook my head. Surely this was a prank.
"Why would I send...You're messing with me right now."
"Bro I swear down!" He said holding up his hands. "If it helps you looked fucking incredible in it..you and that guy had some amazing chemistry and choreography." Fuck my life. I cringed thinking about Corey and the others watching that video. I was practically in my lingerie for the whole thing.
"That doesn't help Corey." I fumed.
"Sorry but I really thought you sent it to Colby."
"I need another drink." I admitted jumping off the counter finding a bottle of vodka on the island and walking outside to the pool area for some air. I took a swig from the half full bottle as I tried to calm myself down because tonight was Sam's night and I wasn't going to let Colby ruin it. Not for Sam, not for Kat, not for me. I hadn't even seen him yet and somehow he had still managed to make himself known. A part of me wanted to leave but I knew I couldn't. The stronger part of me knew that if I did, I was back to square one again. Running from him wasn't an option anymore. I'd both been there and done that.
"It cant be...." I heard a voice gasp behind me. I hadn't even fully turned around before I was swept off of my feet and begin spun around.
"It is you!" The long haired brunette cried excitedly.
"Nate stop! Do you want me to get sick all over you?" I yelped closing my eyes until the spinning was over.
"I'm sorry I just..I didn't even know you were back!" He said pulling me in for a hug. I wrapped my hands around his waist keeping him close for a moment. Nate was great. He was one of my favourite people in the whole world. Plus he was incredibly sexy. He had asked me out a long time ago but I turned him down because... Well because I was sleeping with Colby and although it wasn't a relationship and we were seeing other people our friends were off limits. That was one of the "rules".
"Yeah I just got back a few days ago." I said as we finally parted.
"Well you look good. I mean.. you look way better than good, you look uhhh." He looked at me sighing heavily as he rubbed the back of his head. "You look hot...I mean...you look beautiful." He admitted as I blushed and laughed at the same time.
"Thanks Nate. You don't look so bad yourself." I confessed as we stood silently for a moment.
"So...you planning to drink all that by yourself?" He asked pointing to the vodka bottle in my hands.
"That was the plan but seeing as I like you I guess we can share." I winked. The air had started to hit me hard and I could feel the alcohol start to take over.
"Awesome."
"We should dance." I suggested grabbing his hand and taking him back in to the house where people were dancing.
"I'm not very good at this." He said throwing back some vodka.
"Nate, you're a singer. If you can sing, you can dance." I argued as he laughed. We spent the next few minutes dancing with Corey, Jake, Devyn, Tara, Kat and Sam. All of us taking pictures and videos on our phones. Kat grabbed me as we danced together while she was on Instagram live. "Myyyyy bestie is sexxxxxy." She slurred in to her phone kissing me on the cheek. We continued dancing to the loud music until I heard Sam yell.
"Yooooooo!"
It sent a sudden shiver down my spine because I knew what it meant. I could already feel his presence. I turned around to see him slowly walk down the stairs with a glass of Jack Daniels in his hands, wearing a black tank top that tightly carved his abs through the material, his signature black pants and vans. Well he's still fucking beautiful.
"About time brother!" Sam shouted embracing his best friend as Kat grabbed my hand tightly. I smiled gratefully at Kat. I could see that she thought I was going to fall to pieces upon seeing Colby again but truthfully, I just wanted to hurt him. Like he had hurt me. Maybe it was the alcohol but I had so much anger built up inside of me and it had only gotten worse since Corey had told me about the video. Who did he actually think he was?
"Sorry brother but one of us had to work on your birthday. I'm working on catching up though." He grinned downing the glass of jack with ease as he took his final steps down the stairs. He still hadn't seen me as he walked with Sam over to the group.
"Just so you know Nate's been dancin' with your girl bro.." Sam joked patting Colby on the head.
"Who's my gi......" Colby froze finally seeing Nate and I leaning against the wall. This was it. I could either walk away or I could face him. I bit my lip in contemplation before choosing the latter.
"Hey stranger." I smiled sweetly pulling him in for a hug. Thank god for alcohol.
"Hey!" He said wrapping his muscular arms around me. "Long time no see." He muttered still holding me in his grip.
"You can say that again." I said as he finally let go. A silence grew amongst the group and I could only guess that they could sense a change between Colby and I. I didn't exactly jump in to his arms as I would've usually done when I got back from work trips that were long than a couple of days. "More shots!" Katrina called nervously sensing the uncomfortable vibe between myself and Colby.
"Fuck yes! Time to get you shit faced brother!" Jake yelled grabbing Colby by the shoulders. His eyes never leaving me as he was being pulled away.
"You ok?" Kat whispered.
"Totally." I smiled as we walked back towards the kitchen where the guys were taking shots.
"Did you guys get one for us?" Kat huffed as Nate turned around with two shots.
"I knew we could count on Nate." Kat smile batting her eyes playfully at Nate.
"Such a gentleman." I flirted standing beside him. I could see Colby gritting his teeth from the corner of my eye. He really hated me flirting with Nate. "You can't fuck any of my friends. Especially Nate. I know he's in to you." I don't know why it bothered him so much. Colby had made it clear he didn't want a relationship with me so I could never understand why it bothered him that Nate was in to me, if he really was.
"Ok. We ready? Happy Birthday Sam!" Colby shouted downing the shot as we all repeated his sentiments before swallowing our own.
"Oh and welcome back!" Colby said winking at me taking a swig straight from the bottle of whiskey.
"Thanks Cole." I smirked. Asshole.
2 hours or so had passed and I had managed to avoid having to talk to Colby again. At least we were being somewhat civil for Sam's sake because neither of us wanted anyone else to know that things were not okay between us. I looked around at the house and yard thinking about all the memories I had here. All my favourites being with Colby. All my worst being with him too. No matter where I went in this house I could tell a story about something we had done. This was where we had first kissed without it being a dare or us being drunk. It was where we had slept together for the first but not for the last time. It was where I realised what I felt for Colby wasn't just lust anymore and that I was falling in love with him. Something we promised we wouldn't let happen. A promise I wasn't able to keep.
I sat on the sunbed by the pool texting on my phone when I felt a body take a seat beside me.
"So are we gonna cut the friendly bullshit now that no ones around?" Colby questioned his blue eyes piercing me with sheer cockiness.
"Gladly." I replied not looking up from my phone.
"Good cause its exhausting." He sighed as I locked my phone getting up from where I was sitting not willing to give him the argument I knew he was looking for.
"Trust me, If it wasn't Sam's birthday I wouldn't waste an ounce of oxygen on you." I stated smugly walking back in to the house and away from him.
"Hey, I've been looking for you." Nate said walking towards me. "I've just been around." I smiled refusing to show any pain or anger.
"Were you with Colby all this time?" He asked with a slight frown pointing towards Colby who was still sitting where I had been, looking directly at us.
"No I haven't really spoken to him all night."
"Are you guys ok? Usually at a party I can't get you away from him." Nate questioned as I looked back at Colby.
"I guess, things change." I admitted shrugging my shoulders. "Do you wanna...." He choked for a second trying to finish his sentence. "Dance with me again? We didn't get to finish the last one?" He asked as I smiled and took his hand and guided him to the floor once more.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as we danced to the beat of the music. He stood nervously until I laughed. "You can put your hands on my waist Nate. I don't bite." He chuckled and slowly placed his hands on me. The floor began filling up as more and more people joined the party. Kat shot me a cheeky grin as she danced with Sam.
"Are you having a good time?" Nate asked as I nodded.
"Of course. Are you?"
"The best." He admitted grinning like an idiot.
"Good." I said hugging him tightly before we went back to dancing. Babydoll by Ari Abdul played through the speakers as I froze... That was our song...the song that was playing the first time Colby and I decided to become more than friends but less than a couple.
"Good you're so fucking beautiful..."He whispered kissing my collarbone as I closed my eyes.
"Colby... I don't want to ruin our friendship. I can't lose you like that." I admitted biting my bottom lip, placing my hands gently on his chest.
"We were never just friends, you have to know that." Colby whispered lightly pressing his lips to mine.
"Hey you ok?" Nate asked waving a hand over my face escaping me from my thoughts.
"Yeah, sorry I just got lost there for a second." I said reassuring him. I closed my eyes trying not to think about what this song had represented. What it had meant to me. Just then I felt someone burning a hole through me from somewhere in the room. I opened my eyes to see Colby staring straight at me leaning against the wall with a bottle of jack in his hand. He gave me a strange smirk and nodded at me never moving his eyes away from me. He couldn't possibly remember this song...could he? Colby didn't think like that. He wasn't sentimental. That wasn't him. Why did I even care? Why did I want to know if he remembered? Why was I still thinking about him when Nate was in front of me? Why hadn't I looked away from Colby yet? What the fuck was I doing?
"Hey ,can I ask.." Oh no.... "Nate I'm sorry. I just need a minute." I said quickly pulling away from him and headed towards the bathroom. I felt a hand reach for me, the cold clad rings were all too familiar on my skin.
"I could be wrong but I think you had more fun with me the last time you heard that song." He did remember...
"Fuck you." I spat.
"That you did." He grinned smugly. I wanted to slap him. I ripped my arm from his grip and slammed the bathroom door shut before I shed any tears in front of him. I took a deep breath as I leaned over the sink. Do not cry. Do not cry. You will not waste any more tears on him. I took a couple of more deep breaths as I got my composure back.
"Fuck this." I cursed looking at myself in the mirror. I had enough of feeling this way, being treated this way by someone I would have once given my all to. This wasn't the Colby I had known for years before we started this toxic relationship. I wasn't who I used to be either and I needed to find her again. My blood was boiling as I exited the bathroom. All I could see was red as I went in search for Colby. It didn't take me long as I walked towards him and the black haired girl he was flirting with. I grabbed his arm and began to pull him away as the girl tried to grab him back. "Wait your turn bitch." She spat as I grinned looking at Colby. "Oh I've been waiting for this for a long time."
She tried to grab my arm but I shot her a killer look. "FUCK. OFF." I warned as she finally walked away defeated. I continued dragging Colby up the stairs and towards his bedroom. I could see Nate frowning at me as he watched Colby and I make our way up the steps. "You know I'm pretty sure your boyfriend saw you pulling me up here. I don't think he's gonna be too happy." Colby teased in my ear as I shoved him hard shutting the door behind me.
"What is your problem!?" I screamed. I knew the music was too loud for anybody to hear me and I couldn't wait any longer.
"What's yours?" He fought back.
"I'm looking at him."
"I love it when you're feisty." Colby grinned trying to cup my face, the smell of alcohol lingered on his breath as I slapped his hand away.
"Don't. Don't you dare touch me."
"You never complained before."
"This is all just a game to you isn't it? You just get off on hurting people."
"You used to get off on me hurting you too." He teased moving boldly closer towards me.
"How fucked up must I have been?" I admitted standing my ground. I sensed he could see the seriousness in my eyes because he took a step backwards.
"Why are you here?" He questioned as I raised an eyebrow. "Because it's Sam's..."
"No. Why are you here with me...right now?" He challenged folding his arms.
"Because you've treated me like shit for too long and I'm over it."
"And you had to drag me all the way to my bedroom to tell me that?"
"I'm not going to fight with you down there and ruin Sam's night. Unlike you I actually take other people in to consideration."
"You sure it wasn't to get me away from the girl downstairs?" Colby quizzed as I scoffed. "I'd be doing her a favour."
"You never could hide your jealousy."
"And what about you huh? Like you haven't been watching me all night with Nate." I teased as his face changed.
"If that's what you need to believe to make yourself feel better then by all means..." He replied trying to act unbothered but I knew Colby better than that. His whole demeanour changed at the mention of Nate's name.
"It still gets to you doesn't it? That I could have him in a heartbeat."
"You don't want Nate. You never did." Colby stated confidently.
"How would you know what I want?"
"If you wanted Nate you'd be downstairs with him. But here you are in my bedroom with me." He grinned.
"You're so cocky. It's sickening."
"I always thought that was one of the things you loved about me?"
"I don't love anything about you. I can't even stand being around you anymore."
"Oh so that's why you've been lying about being in New York still when you actually got home almost two weeks ago. Because of me?" I paused for a slight second wondering how he knew I had been home. I knew Kat would never tell him and she was the only one I had told. Then it hit me. Colby knew the producer of the music video I had appeared in. That's how he knew I was home and more importantly that's how he got his hands on the music video before it was officially released.
"You know what? You're right. You are the reason and what makes me sick is that you look almost proud of the fact that you pushed me so far away. You were my best friend!" I yelled. I didn't care anymore. I needed to let it out. The hurt, the frustration..."I made such a mistake in thinking sleeping with you wouldn't change anything between us. I thought I was strong enough to just hook up with you and not feel anything."
"I always told you I didn't want a relationship."
"Yeah you did. But you also made it impossible for me to be with anyone else. Every time I tried to walk away you let me believe that we could be more and I fell for it every single time."
"I'm sorry that I didn't feel that way about you." Colby mumbled looking to the floor as I couldn't hold back a laugh.
"You know, I really believed you didn't feel anything for me. You did such a good job pushing me away, saying all the right things to hurt me and boy did you hurt me." I paused for a moment. "But I see how you look at me or how you don't look at me, like right now. Because a part of you knows that you feel something for me and it terrifies you." I said confidently.
"You think you've got it all figured out huh? You don't know anything! I don't feel anything for you and I never did. You were just a good fuck...helped pass the time." Colby shrugged but I knew him better than that. Everything was starting to make sense now.
"That why you haven't been with anyone else since I left? Because they weren't as good a fuck as I was? Or was it just the fact that they actually weren't me Colby?" I asked finally letting his name escape my lips. His blue eyes widened as he pushed his body against mine. "You really think you're that fucking special?" I swallowed hard pushing my body right back on his, never taking my eyes off of his.
"Special enough for you to jerk off watching a video of me instead of just fucking someone else." I whispered as Colby stood in silence tensing his body.
"Yeah, I know things too Colby. So go ahead, down a few more glasses of jack and maybe you'll get drunk enough to find a girl who resembles me just a little bit because I promise you that is as close as you'll ever get to me again." I stated pushing him away and grabbing the door knob when I felt him grab my hand.
"You really must hate me." He muttered as I pulled my hand away. Why did his touch still set my skin on fire? I opened the door and leaned my head against the side looking at him one final time.
"No Colby, I just hate myself for still loving you" I admitted my eyes welling up with tears as I finally turned away from him and the toxic relationship that had cost me a friendship which had meant more to me than anything.
I walked down the stairs in what felt like slow motion steps looking up when I heard my name being called.
"I was about to send a search party for you." Nate smiled taking my hand and guiding me down the last few steps of the stairs. I smiled at the boy standing before me wondering why I had always chosen Colby over him.
"Aww were you worried about me?" I teased wrapping my arms around his neck but I could sense a hesitation in his body language.
"I saw you go upstairs with Colby and I just assumed you guys were...hooking up." Nate frowned rubbing the back of his head.
"We weren't hooking up. We just needed to talk about some stuff." I reassured him with a smile.
Suddenly there was a loud crash upstairs in what sounded like a mirror smashing in to a thousand pieces.
"What the hell was that?" Sam shouted from the hallway as he began to run for the stairs. "Colby what the fuck happened dude?" I heard Sam yell from the top of the stairs. "Woah woah!" Sam yelled as Colby pushed his way down the stairs. I could see blood dripping from Colby's hand and it was all but confirmed that he had punched the mirror upstairs.
"Colby, you ok man?" Nate asked concerned as Colby paused to look directly at me. I said nothing. "Colby, what happened bro?" Nate spoke again as Colby finally broke his gaze from mine. "Like you give a shit "bro"." Colby spat heading for the front door and slamming it behind him. Sam stood in shock as Kat put her arm around him. "I should go after him." Sam spoke clearly upset by the sudden situation. "Babe, maybe leave him be for a while huh?" Kat suggested but Jake headed for the door and began to follow him ignoring everyone else.
"You wanna go after him?" Nate asked as I was still looking at the door. I was holding every inch of my body back from going with Jake to find Colby.
"N...no. I don't."
"I'm assuming the stuff you had to talk about didn't go so well?" Nate questioned as I frowned.
"No. Not really. But he's not my problem Nate. I'm right where I want to be." I said smiling at Nate who lifted my arms from around his neck and pulled away. I frowned seeing the look that was now firmly across his face.
"I can't."
"Can't what?" I asked as he shook his head.
"Can't be here, can't be with you." He said placing his hands on his head.
"Why not?"
"Because whatever is going on between you and Colby is way too complicated for me to get involved in."
"There's nothing going on between me and Colby!"
"I really want to believe that."
"Then believe it. Nate you know I like you."
"And you know I like you too. Christ! I've wanted you to like me for so long, to look at me the way you looked at Colby."
"But you're not Colby!" I smiled trying to cup his face.
"Exactly! And I never will be." He yelled letting out a sigh. Just then the door opened and Jake walked in with Colby in tow. Nate shook his head and laughed catching Colby's eyes move straight towards me again. He grabbed my hand and kissed it before he reached for his jacket and headed towards the open front door. He stood beside Colby and smiled pointing at me.
"You're his girl. Always have been. Always will be." He said as Colby and I looked at each other. "Maybe it's time you both just admit that your feelings for each other go way past hatred, friendship or fucking. Just figure it out before it completely fucks you both up." Nate said exiting the house as we stood in utter silence.
"I knew they were screwing!" Jake yelled excitedly breaking the silence between Colby and I as the rest of the trap house family remained in complete shock.
Looks like I was just as messed up as Colby after all.

I Feel Like A Hero and You're My Heroine
i'm back on my sam and colby shit after like 200 years
warnings: alcohol consumption, kissing, party, hella fucking fluff bro like omg
wordcount: 1093
masterlist

.
.
You had no idea how you ended up at this party. One moment you and your friends were having a girls night, getting tipsy and talking shit. The next moment, you're in an uber on your way to a house party.
When you pull up you still have no idea whose house this is, you’re just along for the ride. The music is loud and there's people everywhere, dancing, drinking. People out back are smoking, sitting around a fire.
You make your way through the crowd, finding the kitchen and deciding to make yourself another drink.
“Welcome ladies! My name is Colby, I’m one of the hosts. If you need anything or have any questions, I’m your man!”
You look behind you and see the guy who was talking to you and your friends. You were shocked, of course you knew who he was and you knew that your friends ran in the same circles as them but you never thought you would ever meet him or anyone doing what he was doing. After his little introduction, his eyes zeroed in on you, an almost imperceptible smirk appearing on his face.
“Hi!” He smiled, walking closer to you. You’re already tipsy so that makes it even easier to talk to him and flirt like you want to.
“Hey, thanks for the warm welcome!” You smile back, opening yourself up for him to invade your space. He got close but not too close. He didn’t want to make you uncomfortable but to you he couldn't be close enough. You felt a pull to him, like something had just clicked into place.
Maybe you're more drunk than you thought.
Colby smiled at the little giggles you were letting out, stepping closer when you draped your arm over his own, almost pulling him into you. Your friends were all standing around, watching the interaction and smirking, knowing a sober you would never be this forward.
“I’m Y/n by the way.” You smile up at him, putting on your best game.
“Nice to meet you Y/n.”
You two are glued to each other for the rest of the night, talking and laughing, getting progressively more drunk. You’re having the time of your life, the most fun you think you’ve ever had actually. Colby understood you in a way no one ever had before. The way he listened to your words, as slurred as they were at the moment, and the way he stared into your eyes as you spoke made you feel like you were the only girl in the world.
“I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG!” You yelled out as Hero/Heroine by Boys Like Girls came on. It brought you back to your emo phase that you never really grew out of, you just learned how to style yourself better.
“YOU KNOW THIS SONG?” Colby yelled back at you, eyes wide, grime spread across his face.
“YEAH I FUCKING KNOW THIS SONG!” You jumped up off the couch where you had been sitting with Colby, grabbing his hand and dragging him up with you. You started jumping around and dancing, screaming the lyrics, and not giving a fuck who looked at you weird. Colby didn’t look at you weird.
That’s all that mattered.
He danced with you, pulling you closer to him.
“You caught me off guard, now I’m running and screaming. I feel like a hero and you're my heroine, do you know that your love is the sweetest sin.” You both yelled together.
Without thinking, Colby leaned in, pressing his lips to yours. You reacted before you knew what you were doing, pulling him closer to you. The kiss was needy, like he’d been waiting all night for this. His hands roamed your body, pressing you flat against his. Your arms wrapped around his neck, one hand threading through his hair, the other lightly cupping his cheek.
By the time he pulled away, you were both gasping for breath.
“Holy shit.” You whispered, opening your eyes and staring straight into Colby’s.
“I might be really drunk but I think I just fell in love with you…” He whispers back to you. You can’t tell if the blush on his cheeks is the alcohol or the dancing or if he's embarrassed but you find yourself leaning back into him.
I won't try to philosophize. I'll just take a deep breath and I'll look in your eyes. This is how I feel, and it's so so real.
You kissed and kissed and kissed, forgetting about everyone around you. He took over all your senses.
Eventually the song ended and you guys continued dancing and kissing, all over each other and lowkey grossing everyone out with how cute it was. Your friends decided they were gonna leave at around 1:30 but you were not ready to let Colby go yet. The thought of leaving the little bubble the two of you had created made you sad.
“Here, give me your phone.” He said, holding his hand out to you. You handed him the device and he put his number in there, texting himself so he also had your number.
“Text me when you're home, and I’ll text you tomorrow morning.” He told you, handing the phone back to you and giving you one last brain-melinting kiss.
You only pulled away when your friends let you know the under was there. You left with them and finally realized how fucking hammered you were. You knew tomorrow morning wasn’t going to be fun but you didn’t care because you believed you had just lived through a movie scene and met your soulmate at the same time. You knew somewhere in your mind you would be utterly embarrassed when you woke up and remembered the contents of the night but drunk you did not give one single fuck and hoped that one day you would tell this story to your grandkids.
Your friends had all come in clutch and took secret photos of the two of you all night that they knew would be shown at your inevitable wedding.
Colby felt the after effects of you leaving more than he thought he would.
“You literally just fell in love with that girl, didn’t you?” Sam came up to him, clapping him on the shoulder. Colby was speechless but nodded slowly, sauntering up to his room, over the party now that you had left.
A series of texts popped up on his phone a little while later.
home now
you better not forget to text me tomorrow xx

Mr.Right || Colby Brock
Tumblr media
smut, 18+, minors dni | a/n: it’s about time i wrote about my bby colby. ps i got a new xplr hoodie today at zumiez, i’m so fuckin happy. enjoy lovely’s <3
You couldn’t do it anymore.
Ideally you had the perfect life. Perfect house, neighbors, job. You had more money than you knew what to do with, causing you to lose your passion to make a life for yourself.
You even had the perfect husband, Mr.Right. He was always attentive to you, worshipping the ground you walked on. You stared down at your wedding ring, the obnoxiously large diamond shining in the dim bar lighting.
You told your husband you were going out with your friends, but truth was you needed to get away from all of it. All of the glamour and flattery. This lifestyle was all you were supposed to want, the reoccurring thought haunting you.
Why didn’t it satisfy you?
“Come here often?”
Your gaze lifted from your glass, curiously landing on the man beside you. You were almost unsure of how he got into this bar, his leather jacket throwing off your response. Your eyes finally met his, his blue orbs practically absorbing you.
You cleared your throat, stirring your drink in a bored manner. “Thats a corny line you know,” You say dryly, looking away from the man. He pulled up a chair beside you, making himself comfortable.
“My name is Colby. Let me buy you a drink,”
You lifted up your hand, showing off your wedding ring.
“I’m married, sorry,”
Colby examined your wedding ring, the real authentic jewel not impressing him.
“Where is he?” Colby asked. You arched your eyebrows, finally looking at him again. “Where’s who?” You questioned. Colby smirked, gesturing to your wedding ring. “Mr.Right. I’d love to meet him,” Colby chuckled. You could feel heat rush to your cheeks, your eyes widening slightly. Colby called over the bartender, ordering two shots of one of the most expensive tequilas on the menu.
“You don’t have to say anything. I see. Mr.Right isn’t so right after all,” Colby said, purposefully waiting until the bartender was out of earshot. You narrowed your eyes, glaring at the cocky man in the leather jacket. “You don’t even know me,” You argued. The bartender gave you both a small smile, placing the shots in front of you.
“Put everything she’s had on my tab,”
You rolled your eyes. “What exactly are you playing at? How did you even get in here?” You spat. Colby shrugged, downing his shot with ease. He sat the shot glass back down on the counter, challenging your hardened gaze. You picked up your shot, downing the firey liquid as best as you could. Even after drinking the best of the best, alcohol never came easy to you.
“It’s the way he fucks you, isn’t it?”
You forced yourself to swallow the shot, coughing. You swallowed hard, trying to regain composure.
It wasn’t what Colby said that bothered you, it was the fact he was right. Your husband was vanilla, afraid of experimenting in the bedroom in any capacity. Your marriage was strictly monogamous, your needs never fully being fulfilled. You had cravings and desires he refused to meet, insisting they were foolish fantasies he ‘knew’ would fade over time.
It was the only aspect he lacked in your relationship and you just couldn’t get over it.
“You don’t have to answer me, I can tell by the look on your face you haven’t gotten good dick in a long time,” Colby smirked. You stared at him in disbelief, unable to form a proper response. This delinquent had somehow read you like a book, your eyes trailing down to his hands. Rings decorated his long, slender fingers, while his veins were prominent against his tan skin.
“So, what’s your point? You’re offering to fuck me? I’m not going to pay for sex,” You reply flatly. Colby leaned forward, his mouth next to your ear. You shuddered as his hot breath hit your skin, his fingers brushing some stray hairs behind your ear. “I don’t want your money. All I want is to hear you scream my name and beg for me. I have a place nearby,” Colby purred. Your thighs clenched, butterflies rummaging through your stomach. As if on que, Colby’s offer continued,
“You seem so eager, maybe we shouldn’t wait,”
You swallowed hard, his words alone causing your cheeks to flush red.
“Maybe we shouldn’t,” You quietly agreed, thoughts of all the things he could do to you running through your mind. Colby smirked as he leaned away from you, tossing random bills onto the counter. He grabbed your hand, helping you off of the barstool and guiding you down one of many hallways that existed in this bar. You were surprised that for a bar so exclusive, Colby seemed to know exactly where he was going.
He pushed open the men’s bathroom door, revealing several rows of sinks and stalls. “In here? You can’t be serious. This is absolutely ridiculous-” You argued. Colby shut the door behind you, locking it with ease. In a swift motion he pushed you against the door, his arms pinning you against the cool metal. “No one’s going to interrupt us, trust me. If you want to cum I highly suggest you get on your fucking knees,” Colby said. His eyes studied yours intently, ensuring every move he made was something you could handle.
You slid down to your knees, cringing as your knees hit the cool marble floor. “Stick out your tongue,” Colby ordered, undoing his belt. You could hear the metal clinking as you maintained eye contact with him, doing as you were told. Your thoughts wondered off to what else he could do with that belt, the idea making you rub your thighs together. You flattened your tongue, Colby instinctively licking his lips as he took out his cock. “I assume you’ve had no throat training?” Colby asked curiously. You shook your head no, causing him to give you a playful smile.
“We’ll fix that later, now suck me off whore,”
You took Colby into your mouth, his size preventing him from fully fitting. You bobbed your head on his cock, using one of your hands to help jerk off the length you couldn’t fit. “Nuh uh, no hands. Put em behind your back,” Colby huffed. You slowly put your hands behind your back as instructed, continuing to suck him off as best as you could. The size of his cock was beginning to make your jaw hurt, his tip just almost hitting the back of your throat. Colby admired your efforts, his cock in your mouth one of the hottest things he had ever seen. But he knew you needed guidance.
He reached down, grabbing your hair into a makeshift ponytail. “Relax your jaw for me,” He muttered. You forced your jaw to go slack, Colby’s hips now bucking into you. You gagged as his cock hit the back of your throat, Colby’s groans echoing off of the bathroom walls. You felt so filthy, on your knees in a public bathroom, letting a delinquent use your throat as he pleased. But you fucking loved it.
You felt tears flooding your waterline, the salty teardrops dripping down your cheeks as Colby continued using your mouth. “Fuck, you’re fucking hot,” Colby praised, removing his cock out of your mouth. You gasped for air, saliva beginning to drip down your chin. “Cmere baby,” Colby ordered. You grabbed his hand, catching a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. Your makeup was ruined, your mascara trailing down your cheeks. Colby didn’t seem phased it, if anything he looked as if he thought you were prettier than before.
“Hi pretty girl, turn around for me,” Colby purred. He used his thumb to wipe away your tears, his other hand helping you turn around. Colby lifted up your dress with ease as you leaned against the bathroom counter on your shoulders. “I want you to watch yourself as I make you cum on my fingers. If you look away i’ll stop. Understand?” Colby asked sharply. He caressed your ass, tracing the sensitive flesh with his fingertips.
“I understand,” You whimpered, cool air rushing between your thighs as Colby slid your panties down. Your face was pink, your mouth forming into the shape of an O as Colby slid the first finger inside of you. He curled it, causing you let out a desperate groan. Your body craved more, your walls squeezing him, searching for friction. “You’re doing so good for me, good girl,” Colby praised, sliding another finger inside of you.
He curled his fingers upwards, causing you to grip the sink as you moaned his name. “I see, you like that huh?” Colby asked mockingly, before picking up the pace. Your husband had truly neglected you sexually, Colby had figured out that much. The way you looked as if you were in a state of bliss just from his fingers alone made him wonder how you’d react when he fucked you senseless.
You forced yourself to keep your eyes open, the pleasure almost overwhelming. Colby’s fingers were fast and ruthless. He never seemed to tire, your legs beginning to shake as he added in a third finger. “It’s okay, look at me,” Colby told you, slowing down his pace. You looked up at him in the mirror, his ocean eyes absorbing every little detail about your facial expression. He was slowly curling his fingers inside of you, your walls clenching around him. “Does it hurt? We can stop-” Colby began, concern dashing across his face. His fingers had come to an abrupt halt, no longer hitting your g spot but instead staying still.
Your plea cut him off, your desperation to cum overshadowing any ounce of dignity.
“Please don’t stop, please, feels so fucking good,” You whined, pushing your hips against his hand. You weren’t used to begging, never having to ask for anything to be done for you. But fuck, you loved begging him like this. Colby smirked at your reaction, his fingers curling inside of your dripping cunt. His other hand flew to your hair, yanking it towards him.
You arched your back as he held onto your hair, pain shooting down your scalp and spine as he continued to abuse your g spot with his fingers. “You look so filthy like this. You’re such a dirty slut for me,” Colby muttered into your ear, his name leaving your lips like a mantra. You gripped onto the sink for support, babbling incoherent curses.
“What are you? Say it or i’ll stop,” Colby threatened, watching your expression in the mirror. You were determined to listen, what little consciousness you had telling you to focus on yourself in the mirror.
“I’m a dirty slut,” You moaned pathetically, the knot in your stomach forming as you spewed the humiliating words.
Colby smirked, sensing your walls clenching around him. You were practically begging for his cock.
He yanked your hair again, causing you to whimper.
“Whose dirty slut are you?” Colby countered, relishing in seeing you humiliate yourself.
“I’m your dirty slut, i’m gonna cum, please-” You babbled, unsure what you were even begging for.
Colby held you steady as you came, an unfamiliar euphoria blinding your senses. You gripped onto the counter so hard your knuckles were turning white, your thighs trembling as your juices coated Colby’s fingers. He admired them in front of you, releasing your hair and sucking them clean.
“You taste so sweet, next time i’ll have you cum on my face,” Colby purred. You chuckled as he turned you around, his lips meeting yours. His kisses were rougher than your husband’s, his lips never able to fully keep up with your desperate ones. Colby liked it rough and he knew without a shadow of doubt, you did too.
You could taste mint and the faintest taste of your juices on his tongue as he pressed you against the bathroom sink. Colby pulled away briefly, his eyes meeting yours.
“You want this cock baby?”
“Yeah-”
Knock knock knock.
You nearly jumped out of your skin, clinging onto Colby as the bathroom door shook.
“This is a public bathroom! Get a room!”
You were stunned and silent, afraid the intruder would knew who you were once you left. Colby was quick on his feet, wiping away your ruined makeup and helping you pull your panties up. You were far from presentable, your hair messy, lips puffy, and cunt drenching your panties. Colby pulled your dress down, leaning close to your ear.
“When I unlock the door, leave, i’ll make sure the guy out there never saw you,” Colby whispered. The intruder continued pounding on the bathroom door, causing Colby to sigh. He redressed himself, running his fingers through his ruffled brunette hair.
“Hotel six on main street, meet me there Friday at seven. I’ll be in room 717,” Colby said, heading over towards the door. You nodded as confidently as you could, exiting the bathroom and brushing past the stranger. You could feel curious eyes burning holes into your back, guilt flooding you as you walked down the hallway.
Your mind swirled with thoughts as you called your personal driver to pick you up, exiting the bar as quickly as you could as to not be affiliated with Colby. As you stood outside and lit a cigarette all you could think was one thing: You needed to be at hotel six on Friday, no matter what.

Friends with Benefits || Part Four - The Announcement
"y/n come on! they’re already waiting on us." colby called from the door.
"oh hush. i'm pregnant and am going to abuse the hell out of this card for as long as i can."
"yeah, you made that abundantly clear when you demanded i bring you a tub of ice cream last night."
"half of which you also ate, so don't give me that." you said, finally walking out into the living room. you and colby were on your way to take your anouncement photos. you agreed on the idea of a baby explorer, and the two of you were also dressed in xplr t-shirts.
you grabbed you purse and keys from the counter, finally ready to head out. you walked to the door, stopping in your tracks as colby didn't move.
"what? what's wrong?" you asked, looking up at him and noticing tears in his eyes.
"nothing, it's just," he took a deep breath to prevent himself from sobbing. "you're starting to show."
"oh, yeah!" you smiled, placing your hands under your belly. "that's your baby in there."
"our baby." he corrected, placing his hand above your belly button. you stood silently, allowing colby to take in the moment. "alright, let's get going." he said quietly, wiping his tears and following you out of the door.
you made your way to the park near your house where your photographer was meeting your for your shoot. fortunately, they'd just arrived, so you didnt feel bad about having kept them waiting.
you followed them to the spot they had picked out, amongst the trees that truly fit the exploration vibe you were going for. you were there for about an hour, and got some really amazing shots. once you were done, your photographer told you it would take a little bit for them you to edit the photos and send them to you. while you waited, you and colby went out for a bite to eat while you waited.
you both were beyond excited to finally share the news with your friends and extended family. you both had already shared with your parents, and they were all over the moon.
“y/n, you’re going to be a wonderful mother. you have such a nurturing and caring heart, i already know you’re going to spoil that baby with love.” your mom said to you over video chat.
“i get it from you.” you smiled.
“i can’t wait to come see you soon. until then, im gonna get started on planning your baby shower!” she cheered before you exchanged your goodbyes and hung up.
colby’s parents were just as excited to be getting their first grandbaby. they shared similar sentiments about their faith in you and colby being wonderful parents, and were overjoyed with the idea of having a new baby to spoil.
after sharing the news, you and colby were proud of yourselves for avoiding the topic of your relationship, and the truth of how you got to this point.
after your lunch, you and colby did a little bit of shopping before heading back home. upon your return, you checked your phone and saw your had a new email from your photographer; your announcement photos.
“ahh, they’re done!” you said, moving to sit with colby on the couch.
“open them, open them!” colby said excitedly as you tapped on the email notification.
you scrolled through the pictures, you on the verge of tears over how much you loved all the pictures. you and colby sat there forever, trying to decide on which ones to share. you ended up deciding on three pictures; one of the onesie lying in the ground with your ultrasound photo on top of it, one of you and colby holding the onesie between you and sharing a sweet smile, and the last one, a photo of you sitting on the ground with the onesie draped over your belly.
“there’s a new member coming soon to team xplr ✖️” you wrote for your caption. you hit post and set your phone down, taking a deep breath.
“and now we wait.” you said. after only a few minutes, both yours and colby’s phones began buzzing on the table. there were only a few people that knew about your pregnancy before this. your parents were the first to know, and of course colby immediately told sam. you both also shared with your siblings, but that was it. you wanted the news to be just yours for as long as you could keep it.
as more and more notifications came through, you snd colby finally began going through them. you checked your texts first, both of your extended families passing on their congratulations and well wishes. then, you took to instagram.
since moving to LA, most of your friends were also colby’s friends, ones that he’d made in the social media industry. you had friends of your own through your work too, but most everyone you knew, you’d met through colby. fortunately, they’d always been taken with you as an individual, and were friends with you for you, and not just who you knew.
you scrolled through the comments on your post, smiling at what everyone had to say.
yourphotographer: “congratulations again to you both! thank you so much for letting me be a part of this wonderful announcement!”
samgolbach: “so excited to have another member of xplr nation! you giys are gunna be great parents and i cant wait to be kiddo’s favorite uncle ♥️”
jakewebber9: “oh no way! this is so exciting!! congrats to you both!”
katrinastuartofficial: “@yourusername @colbybrock i cant believe THIS is how im finding out?? but im too excited to be angry! this is incredible, congratulations!”
yourbestfriend: “still so over the moon about this!! @yourusername youre going to be the most wonderful mama, im so happy and excited for you 💖”
kianlawley: “yes!! another baby on the way! i cant wait for coast and your little one to have playdates”
jccaylen: “this is crazy! congrats you two! we’re growing up so fast”
amberscholl: “oh my goodness, congratulations! i absolutely cannot wait to take you shopping for baby clothes and other goodies! ✨”
you continued reading all of the comments from your friends and other followers. youd gained quite a bit of a following for yourself since being attached to sam and colby, so your comments were also flooded with their fans sending you congratulations as well. you refreshed your notifications, watching a new comment pop up at the top.
colbybrock: “im so excited for us to be starting this journey with you. im also a bit scared and nervous, but i know with you by my side, we can accomplish anything. i love you. 🖤”
you smiled and pinned his comment to the top, typing an “i love you too” in response. as you watched more comments roll in, more and more people began to point out something else about you and colby.
“oh shit.” you said aloud.
“what?”
“not only did we announce our pregnancy, we also announced our relationship.” you laughed.
“oh shit, youre right.” colby said, staring at your dumbfounded. “ive been thinking so much about the baby, i hadn't even thought that we hadn't told anyone about us yet.” he laughed
“you didnt tell sam? i figured you wouldve text him as soon as we talked.” you teased.
“i dont tell him everything,” he paused and you raised a brow at him. “that fast, at least.” he blushed.
“well, now it’s out there. im just glad it’s been a mostly positive response.” you said, nuzzling into colby’s side. he wrapped an arm around you and squeezed you tight.
“me too.” he said, kissing the top of your head. the two of you spent the rest of the evening at home, relaxing, watching movies with your dinner, and relishing in the happiness and support you felt radiating around your announcement. you were ecstatic, happier than youd ever been in your life.

Hmm my favourite ghosty ones would probably be bowers mansion, conjuring 1&2, queen mary with kian and jc, and crescent hotel. and any one that has a crazy good estes session.
xplr days probably nylex towers cuz das ma cityyyy, the hospital with jake, the six flags one definitely. i also really love the shot of them on top of the silo on the edge.
theyre just the ones that stand out off the bat, i probably have an actual favourite that i cant think abt lol
Im watching villisca now, i like nate :) i like any video he’s in bc he’s dope. also its nice to see a non-yter person who is so comfortable in front of the camera, too.
Oh i forgot 25x25 videos… the drifting episode was my fave by far. scuba diving, um. I actually havent seen many but also that one where they got stranded on the side of the road and then a fan rescued them lol she was so hype lol
- aussie anon
I like the part in Bowers where they find the room full of cats. That part is just so sweet.
I forgot they went to Alaska during 25x25! The fact that they got stuck on the side of the road in freezing cold temps like that and probably could've been in real danger but was saved by a random fan (and then gave that fan Colby's pants?!) is such a Sam and Colby thing to happen, I swear 🤣.
Some of the 25x25 videos are great, but the ones at the end where they ran out of steam and confidence and uumph are probably best left unwatched. The Seychelles videos are ok, I guess, but pretty much anything they did in Vegas is just...meh.
I wish they had followed through with their original vision for it - we would've gotten Colby's song as an episode, Sam's marathon as an episode, them learning how to ride motorcycles and taking a road trip...that would've played out much differently if they were able to fully see it through.
Ah, well. What can ya do.
Anyway, Nate! We love Nate. Nate is the absolute cream of the crop of people they bring with them (imo). He's so chill and works so well with them and with the camera.

╔═══━━━─── • ───━━━═══╗
You were feeling tipsy by the second drink, and you were drunk by the fourth.
Those double shots will do it.
"Why don't you go talk to him?" Y/f/n says nudging you out of your stare on a random guy at the bar, "You've been staring long enough." She finishes her drink, "Or is it because he kinda looks like Colby?"
Your head snaps towards her and you shake your head, laughing slightly as you feel your cheeks getting warmer, "No, no. That's not wh-"
"How long have we been friends?" She tilts her head as she looks at you, causing you to sigh, "Forever."
"Exactly. So why don't you just tell Co-"
"He doesn't like me back." You say looking down. Y/f/n leans in slightly, "Did he tell you that himself?" You shake your head, "No, bu-"
"No. No buts. You're going to get drunk, then we're going to walk to Sam's house and you-"
"Whoa, wait. We're sleeping at Sam's?" You ask knowing there's a good chance Colby will be there too, "I didn't know this."
"I told you before we came here, stop trying to find excuses not to spill your feelings for Colby." She pushes your shoulder gently, "I'm telling you, y/n. Just talk to him. You never know what might happen."
She turns to get another drunk and you sigh, thinking about what she said. You've had a huge crush on Colby, ever since Sam introduced you guys to him.
You've hung out multiple times and yeah, maybe there something there, but you're scared it's just you feeling that way.
"Here. Drink up." Y/f/n shoves a glass into your hand and turns to grab hers, pulling her phone out of her pocket to check it, "Oh. Here." She holds her phone up, taking a selfie as you smile with your cheek pressed against hers.
"Saving that." She says with a smile, "We look so drunk, but still cute! Now let's dance a little before we leave."
A little turned into two more hours of drinking and dancing, your heels hurt your feet, you're aching to get out of them, but that's not the only thing you're aching for.
Colby's smile flashes in your mind, along with the thought of his ring covered fingers dragging up and down your skin and touching you where you needed him most.
"I told Sam we'll be on our way soon, so one more drink?" She bites her lip as she looks at you, waiting for you to agree.
You think about it for a moment before letting out a sigh, "One more couldn't hurt."
.·:*¨ ✘ ¨*:·.
"Shut up. No that picture is atrocious." You groan as you snatch y/f/n's phone from her. You both can't walk in a straight line so save your lives, so you're bumping into each other every other minute.
"No it's cute!" She bites her lip taking her phone back, "I also may have sent this to Colby." She turns her phone and it's a, not bad at all, picture of you standing at the bar. Your dress was riding up a little too high, almost revealing your ass.
"No." You mumble out, "Tell me you didn't!"
"I did. And I'm not sorry."
You pretended to hate her for it, but that quickly vanished as you actually love her for it.
"There they are." Sam says walking out of the door, "How was it?" You both start giggling and he raises his eyebrows, "Oh, wonderful. You're both still drunk." He laughs with a sigh, "Come on. I got pizza for you guys."
"Ooh, pizza." You and your friend look at each other and laugh because you said the same thing at the same time.
"Oh, y/n." Sam says getting your attention. You look up at him, still smiling. He looks over at y/f/n and back to you, "Colby is here."
Your smile drops and your anxiety starts to race, and it's worse because you're drunk, but you play it cool, "No surprise there." You laugh slightly and walk in with your friend.
"Colby! They're here." Sam announces as he shuts the door. You turn, eyes wide, "You didn't have to announce it." You mumble through gritted teeth. He smirks and walks over to y/f/n, hugging her from behind.
Your eyes stay on them as they smile and laugh, wishing that was you and Colby.
"Well hello, hello." Colby says as he walks down the steps, "On a scale from one to ten, how drunk are we tonight?"
Colby's presence makes you nervous, you don't want to make a fool of yourself. Y/f/n giggles, "I'm at an eight right now." She looks over at me and raises her eyebrows.
You sigh and set your purse on the counter, "I'm ready for bed." You walk towards Colby to go upstairs and you avoid eye contact as you walk by him.
But you can tell his eyes are on you the whole time.
You can hear y/f/n trying to whisper but you hear everything, "I tried to talk to her, I even told her about the picture I sent to you. I don't know why-"
Her voice fades out as you walk into where she keeps her clothes. You didn't bring anything, considering you forgot you were coming to Sam's.
As your rummaging through your friends drawer of the dresser, something lands on your head and you can hear Colby trying not to laugh. You pull the shirt from your head, turning to look at him.
"Thought you'd be more comfortable in that." He smirks slightly as he crosses his arms over his chest, leaning against the door way, "If you need anything else, let me know."
His eyes move up and down your low-coverage dress and he tilts his head before walking away. You stand there, slightly dumbfounded but you roll with it.
You make your way to the bathroom, switching the shower on before stepping in. You gasp at how good the water feels on your drunk body, but you sober up a little by the time you get out. You wrap a towel around your body, peaking out before you make your way to find y/f/n.
You know on their door and you can hear Sam talking on the other side but he tells a quick, "Come in." You open the door slightly peaking your head in, "Y/f/n?"
Sam reaches over from his desk and taps her ankle, "Babe, y/n wants you." She groans as she sits up but trudges over to you, "Talk to Colby yet?"
"N-no. That's not why I'm here. I need underwear." You say quietly. She giggles slightly, fighting back saying any kind of comment, "Mhm."
She walks over, grabbing a pair from her drawer, "These are new, but they won't be after tonight." She winks and you roll your eyes, "Sure."
You pull the door shut, turning to walk back down the hall to one of the spare bedrooms and freeze when Colby walks out of the other one.
"Hey." He smiles, and god do you love his smile. You smirk slightly, giving him a low, "Hey" as you walk by him.
"Wait." He says and you stop instantly, hesitating to spin towards him, but you do, "What's up?" He steps towards you, looking down at you as he gets closer. His chest is inches away from yours and he sighs, "The dress you wore tonight, made it so fucking hard for me to not come down there and take you out of that place."
Your breath hitches and you grip your towel tighter, actually wanting him to rip it off of you, but you couldn't muster up enough confidence so you just force a small smile, "Really? Why?"
He chuckles lowly, "I think you know why." He walks down the steps, looking back at you from over his shoulder before disappearing into another room.
Why couldn't I just fucking do it, you think as you mentally beat yourself up, get over yourself, Jesus Christ.
You make your way into the room you're staying in for the night and change into the shirt Colby threw at you. You pull it up, smelling it to see if it smells like him, and it does.
You fall back onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling until you eventually pass out.
"Yeah, baby. Just like that." Colby moans into your ear as he has his cock buried deep into your aching cunt.
You whimper out as his hand slides up, squeezing the sides of your neck, slowly adding pressure.
"Tell me what you want, sweetheart." His voice is low and deep, groans escape his lips with each slow thrusts into you, "C'mon baby. I need to hear it."
"Y-ou.. Colby." You whimper out, "I want you. All of you."  You reach back to grab his arm but he pins it to your lower back, "Say it again." He releases the grip on your throat and slides his hand up the back of your scalp and grips a handful of hair.
"Colby." You gasp out, "Fuck, yes. Please. Please. I need you. I need yo-"
You gasp awake, sitting straight up as you look around the semi dark room. You sit in silence, trying to hear if anyone is up, if anyone heard anything from you.
You hear Sam and Colby yelling back and forth, they must be playing their games, so they must have headsets on, so they probably didn't hear you.
Or so you thought.
You swallow, wincing at how dry your throat is. You get up, slowly and quietly making your way to the door and slowly opening it. You peak your head out, looking down the empty hall before stepping out and making your way down stairs as quickly and quietly as possible.
But what you didn't know, is that Colby's door was open, just enough to see you move past.
As you're standing in the kitchen, eating a slice of cold pizza, you feel a presence move into the room and you freeze.
Please don't be Colby, you think repeatedly, please don't be Colby.
"What are you doing up?" Colby's voice flows through the room, "I thought you'd be knocked out like y/f/n is."
You shrug, "I needed a drink and then I got hungry." You glance over at his shirtless figure and back down to your glass of water before taking a big gulp.
You set your pizza crust down and lay your hands on the counter, "Well, I'm going to get back to bed." You walk around the other side of the island, but you're stopped by an arm extended over your chest, "Now hang on."
You feel cornered, but you really aren't putting up any kind of fight.You stand there, slowly looking up at him, "I hung on, can I go to-"
His bluntness cuts you off, "Were you dreaming about me again, sweetheart?"
You stand there, staring at him in a shocked and embarrassed state, "I-i, no. Why.. why would you-"
He smirks, moving his body closer to yours, "I heard you. So no need to pretend you weren't."
"You heard, what exactly?" You ask trying to see if he really knows. His hand comes up, his thumb lightly drags against your bottom lip, "my name, a few times."
He slides his hand to cup your cheek, "and some other sounds I wish I couldn't heard better."
Your breath hitches as his hands slide down your sides, "I knew you would look good in this shirt." You look down at his shirt but his hand quickly lifts your chin and his lips are on yours and you give in fully to him.
"Colby." You whimper against his lips as he wraps an arm around your waist to pull you into him, "Please."
He smirks as he leans back, "Not until you tell me what you were dreaming about." He lifts you up into the counter, "I want to know what I was doing to you in that pretty little mind of yours."
You let out a low groan as he leans in to kiss your neck slowly, "come on, baby. Be a good girl and te-"
Being called a good girl seemed to be the key.
"Can we go upstairs? I don't want anyone else hearing this." You bite your lip as you lean back and he nods, "C'mon." He slides you off the counter and your hand is still in his as he takes you upstairs into the room you're staying in.
He shuts the door and your back is instantly pressed to it, his voice is low, "Start talking, princess." He presses his lips to yours, "I want to feel you sooner than later."
He lifts you up and your legs wrap around his waist, "I was.." you breathe out as you look down at him, "dreaming about you.. and me." You run a hand through his hard hair and bite your lip, "You buried yourself in me as you choked me."
His breath hitches and he clears his throat, "Is that all?"
You shake your head and lean in to kiss him. Your lips move in sync for a couple of moments before you pull away just enough to speak, "You were telling me to beg for you basically, telling me to tell you that I needed you."
He tilts his head back, licking his lips as he walks you over to the bed, "I've dreamed of having you beg for me." He lays you down, his body perfectly still between your thighs.
"Please, Colby." You lay a hand on his cheek and he smirks, "Please what, baby?"
"Fuck me." You whisper almost inaudible, "I need you."
His lips crash onto yours, making out with you until you drag your nails down his back. "Fuck." He groans lowly as he sits up. You whimper at the loss of his touch and go to sit up, but stops you, "Just lay back, princess. Let me take care of you."
You bite your lip, lying back as you await his touch. You feel his hands slide up your legs, "You're so beautiful." He whispers, "I should have just came and got you."
He dips his head in, licking up your pussy which causes you to moan and you slap a hand over your mouth, not wanting to disturb the others.
"Mm, move that hand. I wanna hear you." Colby looks up at you and you move your hand and look down to meet his gaze. You watch him as he grips your thighs, going back to enjoying how you taste on his tongue.
"Colby.." you whine out and tangle your fingers in his hair, "Fuck, so close." You whimper and tug his hair, earning a low groan.
He slides his hand over, his middle finger rubbing circles on your clit as he whispers a low, "Cum for me, baby."
You grind your hips against his hand and mouth, moaning as you arch your back off the bed, "Fuck, fuck, fuck!"
He groans as you clench around his tongue, desperate for that first orgasm. You gasp loudly as it hits, slightly twisting your body as he keeps your hips pinned down.
"Shit." You say breathless as he stands up. Your eyes move to him and you pull your bottom lip between your teeth as you watch him discard his sweats, leaving him naked.
He crawls back up, "How was I fucking you in that dream you had?" He brushes hair from your face and smirks down at you, "I just want to make it come true."
You smile and tilt your head, "You had me flipped over, ass in the air."
"Roll over." He leans up, watching as you comply with his demand, "Shit." His hands lay on your ass and he squeezes, "so fucking sexy."
You him lowly as you wiggle your hips, "Colby.. baby please.."  he smiles at you calling him baby, "What do you want?"
"You." You say instantly, "You, Colby. Please.. I need to have your cock inside me." You whimper and push your hips back, "Please."
He slides his hands up your back and lightly drags his nails against your skin on the way back towards your ass. His actions send chills up your spine and you moan, "Colby.."
He lifts himself up, positioning his cock at the entrance of your needy cunt, "Keep begging, baby." He rubs the head of his cock against you before pushing in, groaning out as you clench around him, "Fuck, y/n."
His hands grip your hips tight and his eyes roll shut as his hips meet your ass, "What do you want me to do?"
"Choke me.. please." You tilt your head up and he slides his hand up around your neck, squeezing slowly, "Never pictured you to be this much of a little slut baby."
There's no hesitation when you answer him, "Only for you."
And he loved it.
His hand squeezes around your throat, hard as he starts thrusting his cock in and out, "You feel so fucking good." He groans out, "Let me hear you, baby."
You let out a moan, gripping the blankets below you as his thrusts become punishing. You feel that build up again, moaning out as you much as his hand on your throat will allow.
"Tell me what you want." He says as he lets go of your throat, "Tell me what you need from me." His hand tangles in your hair and he tilts your head back, whispering in your ear, "Do you want me to fill that pretty pussy for you?"
"Y-yes." You gasp out and push your hips back, "Yes, yesyesyes." You squeeze his cock and he groans, "Fuck, not gunna last much longer, princess." He kisses the back of your shoulder, biting and sucky a hicky onto your skin, "You sure you want that?"
You moan, "Colby, yes. I need you to cum in my pussy."
He moans at your words, thrusting his cock in and out of you slowly, "Cum for me first, okay? Then you can have me."
You reach back to grab his arm but he pins it to your lower back and lets go of your hair. He leans back up, keeping a hold of your arm and your hip, "Fuck, fuck."
You rest your head down, moaning into the bed as you cum around his cock. He reaches down, grabbing your hair and tilting your head up, "Don't hide those pretty sounds from me, princess."
Your eyes roll back as another surprise orgasm comes back and slams into you. Colby raises his eyebrows, "Fuck, again?" He smirks and listens as you whine out for him.
Moaning his name over and over again.
You were completely his.
You are his.
"Sh-shit." He grips your hips with both hands and pulls you back as he pushes his cock all the way in, fucking his cum into you as deep as he can.
"Holy fuck." He sighs as he pulls out, laying beside you to make sure you're okay, "Y/n?" He whispers, "Look at me."
Your body rests flat on the bed and you turn your head to look at him. He brings his fingers up to gently grip your chin, "You alright?"
You nod against the bed, "Mhm." He smiles and leans over to kiss your forehead, "So was that better than your dreams?"
You nod and sit up slightly, "How did you know I had more than one?"
He smiles and licks his lips, "Remember last week when we were driving around looking for that one bridge?"
You nod and he continues, "Well you fell asleep right before Sam and Y/f/n went into the store, and you were whimpering my name."
"Oh." You blush slightly, "Sorry."
He shakes his head, "No, no. I felt honored that you were dreaming about me." He bites his lip as his eyes can over your face, "Took all I had not to wake you up and fuck you right there in the backseat."
Your lips twitch into a smirk, "Well I give you full permission to do it next time. And the time after that, and any time you want."
He pulls you in and kisses you, "Deal."
The next morning, you wake up, snuggled against Colby's side with his arm around you. Your back is to the door, with the hickey he gave you on your shoulder on full display to y/f/n who was nosey and looked in because Colby wasn't in his room.
You heard quiet whispering but shrugged it off until Sam yells, "It's about fucking time." You jump slightly and Colby sits up, making sure you're covered, "Dude!"
Sam laughs, "I thought that's why you got off last night. Good for you guys."
"Yeah, thanks. Thanks." You rub your eyes and run a hand through your hair, "Now beat it."
They hold their hands up and Sam points, "Have fun you two."
"Bye Sam." Colby says still holding the blanket over your body until the two leave and close the door. You look at Colby with a laugh, "I think they're more excited than us."

Getting my best friend to fall in love with me (Colby Brock Series)
Tumblr media
Part two is upppp 😌
~ Day two ~
You were at a party, drinking watching some random girl all over Colby, you told yourself you weren’t jealous but that was a lie, of course you were jealous, you down your drink just as the girl kisses Colby.
“Woah Y/n, take it easy, you can’t hold your liquor very well.” Jake says watching you concerned
“I’m fine Webber I can handle it.” You tell him, and that’s when you see Colby and the girl walk upstairs
“I need another drink.” You say bumping shoulders with Jake and walking over to the drinks and grabbing a cup and pouring vodka into it and you chug it, you could feel Katrinas concerned gaze on you, everyone could see that you were in love with Colby, expect for himself.
Kat wanted to go over there and slap some sense into Colby, and tell him that you were the girl for him and the girl he’s with right now won’t mean anything to him tomorrow.
“You okay?” Kat asks you walking over to you as you downed another drink.
“I’m fine Kat, I’m just here enjoying the party.” You tell her pouring yourself another drink.
She looks at you concerned and you sigh finishing your drink
“I think I should go home.”
“Let me take you home.” Kat says grabbing your purse, you nod sadly and walk out Of the party and over to Kats car, she unlocks it and helps you into the passenger seat.
“Why doesn’t he love me the way i love him?” You ask your best friend
“Y/n he does love you he’s just an idiot.” Kat tells you shutting your door and getting into the drivers side and she drives you to your apartment, helping you out and inside, you start crying
“I-I love him so much Kat.” You cry your heart out
“I know you do sweetie.” She sighs wiping your makeup off and helping you into bed, grabbing you some Advil and a bottle of water placing it on your bedside table, you cry yourself to sleep, Kat right by your side.

The Demon Within {Colby Brock}
Request: umm colby brock as a demon you let into your home on accident i.e; ouija board or seance, and how his interactions with the reader would be. (im not saying i find demon!colby hot but yes i am.)love your stories btw!! <3
Warnings: cussing, demonic possession, violence
A/N: I’m so sorry for the long wait on this imagine. I finally finished up with my school semester so I will try and get back on top of writing and finishing up my last couple requests. I didn’t proofread this because I figured the wait was already long enough. Enjoy!
------------------------------------------------------------
It was just a normal day at your boyfriend Colby’s house. You had decided to spend the night because Colby had been messaging you nonstop about weird paranormal things happening around the house, especially in his room. You figured he was just on edge due to all the recent ghost trips him and Sam had been going on.
The Conjuring house in particular really fucked with him. He had dreams almost every night about being down there in that dark, cold basement, all alone. He would tell you that in the dream there would always be a tall humanoid figure walking slowly towards him, making the music box go crazy, but no matter how much he tried to escape he wouldn’t be able to move.
Although you believed it was all just his imagination due to the pure horror he felt that night, you were still super worried about him and never told him anything to invalidate his concerns regarding his situation. He was convinced that something strange was going on at the Sam and Colby house. He had told you that he would hear footsteps when he was the only one there. He said that he would place something down in his bedroom and swore that if he left and came back it would be in a completely different spot. But worst of all, he was convinced that the entity he would see in his dreams, would also be at the foot of his bed for a few seconds right when he would wake up.
So you agreed to go and stay the night at his place, hoping that your presence would calm Colby’s nerves and allow for him to get a peaceful nights rest, without experiencing anything paranormal. You had no idea that your plans for a peaceful night would go to absolute shit. You had both fallen asleep around 11:30 and Colby seemed visibly less anxious thanks to you. Nothing had happened leading up to your sleep and you were both passed out.
You felt some shuffling at your side which woke you up slightly but it wasn’t abnormal for Colby to move around a lot in his sleep. As you started to drift off again you heard slight mumbles coming from Colby. His head was kept flip flopping side to side on the pillow as he continued to speak. You couldn’t make out what he was saying but once your eyes adjusted to the darkness in the room you could see how scared he looked. You were about to wake him up when he shot upwards, sitting straight up in bed. Sweat was glistening on his forehead and his hair looked damp. “Hey, babe it’s okay. It was just a dream. I’m right here.” You spoke gently to him, rubbing circles on his back.
“What time is it?” He asked, his voice raspy. You pulled your phone off the side table, flipping it around to look at the time. You hit the power button, turning the screen towards his face. “Fuck, it’s 3:33… again.” He was clearly frustrated and you couldn’t blame him. Suddenly, he pushed his legs off the side of the bed, getting up and pacing the room. “Colby, baby, what do you want to do?” You asked him, watching as he continued to pace.
“Don’t hate me, but I think we should do a seance. Maybe we can figure out who or what is doing this to me and then it will finally stop.” He stated, clearing the table in front of his sofa, revealing the xplr Ouija board which he normally just used as a centerpiece. You got up and walked over to him, taking hold of his shoulder, causing him to face you. “I don’t know if that’s a very good idea... I mean it’s already devils hour. Do you really think that messing with a Ouija board right now is a good idea?” You asked him calmly.
Colby didn’t respond to your question. You knew he wasn’t doing it be be rude, he was just dead set on trying to figure out the recent hauntings. You sighed, taking a seat next to him as he finished lighting a couple candles around the board. “You’re lucky I love you.” You giggled, placing two of your fingers on the planchette. Colby smiled over at you, scooting his body as close to yours as he could, he knew you get scared easily.
“My name is Colby, and I am here with my lovely y/n. We are reaching out to contact whoever or whatever has been haunting my house as of recently. You’re not allowed to touch either of us, but you are allowed to communicate with us with this ouija board.” Colby said out loud. He began to ask if anything was there, or if anything wanted to communicate, and nothing ever moved the planchette.
After about twenty minutes of pure silence from the board, you both said goodbye and Colby felt even more hopeless than he did before. He rubbed his hands down his face, keeping his head held in hands as he continued breathing slowly. “I’m sorry babe” You said quietly, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder, slightly rubbing it.
“I want to do the Estes method.” He said, breaking the silence that was filling the room. You reluctantly agreed yet again. Whatever the “thing” was that was here had practically been tormenting your poor boyfriend. It had been showing itself for weeks and as soon as you try and figure out what it is you get nothing.
You knew that the Estes method always seemed to take a toll of Colby’s mental and physical health. You’ve watched the videos he has shown you and felt shattered seeing how pained his face was anytime he would listen to the obnoxious noise of the spirit box.
As Colby placed the noise canceling headphones on right next to you on the couch, you felt your heartbreak even more. Seeing his reaction to the spirit box in person was a whole new level of feeling shattered. After a couple minutes of silence, you had finally pulled yourself together to ask the first question.
“What have we been talking to these past few weeks?” You asked.
“The devil.” Colby immediately responding, slightly yelling due to him not being able to hear his own volume. Chills shot through your body at the instant response.
“Did you follow Colby home from the Conjuring house?” You decided to ask.
“Yes. Attached.” Colby spoke again.
“You’re attached to Colby?” You questioned, wanting to make sure if that’s what it meant by attached.
“Almost.” Colby said instantaneously.
You felt short of breath, fear taking over your whole body.
“I have one more step!” Colby yelled, still under the influence of the spirit boxes frequencies. Your eyes shot up to Colby, you hadn’t even asked anything and the entity still spoke?
“Devil! I’m here!” Colby shouted again, without any questions being asked on your end. You were at a loss for words.
“I’m done.” Colby said, but a lot quieter than before. He immediately took off the headphones, setting them on the coffee table in front of him.
“Oh thank god, are you alright? That was so fucking scary I have goosebumps all over my damn body.” You said, feeling concerned about him stopping so abruptly. His eyes remained straight forward, no emotion appearing on his face. You figured he was just in shock so you spoke up once more, “When I asked anything you would immediately respond, and it always made sense context wise. B-but then at the end… You were just sort of talking. I didn’t say anything and you were still speaking like I was asking you questions. I was about to get you out of it but then you stopped and-“
Colby’s head whipped to face you, his eyes throwing daggers into your soul. The normal icy blue color, that you loved so so much, were now completely black. You gulped, scooting closer to Colby, leaning your head onto his shoulder. He was probably just upset that nothing had changed.
As soon as your head had made contact on his shoulder he shot up off the couch, still not speaking to you. He walked off towards the wall length mirror that was placed by the closet, standing right in front of it. You immediately shot up too, following him to his side, “I’m sorry it didn’t work baby. Are you upset with me? Maybe I can try and go under and you could ask the questions now?” You asked, looking up at him as he remained looking in the mirror.
Still, without a word, his hand forcefully wrapped around your neck as he shoved your back into the mirror, pinning your body between him and the cold surface. “C-Colby!” You choked out, trying to reach a hand up and alert him that his grip around your neck was way too tight.
As you struggled to take hold of his strong hand around your neck he continued to squeeze it tighter and tighter, bringing his lips close to your ear. You could practically feel it touching your ear as he finally spoke, “Can you please just shut the fuck up.” But it wasn’t a question he was asking, he was demanding.
You gasped for air, your face turning red. You felt the coolness of his rings pressing deep into the skin of your neck. He finally let go, causing you to stumble forward. “What the fuck was that?!” You yelled at him. Colby would never lay a hand on you. He didn’t respond. He didn’t even look in your direction. “Colby?!” You yelled again, desperate for some sort of answer.
“I’m not Colby.” He finally said.
“You’re not Colby…” Sarcasm written all over you voice. What game was he trying to pull.
“I’m the devil.” He spoke again, finally facing you. His eyes were still as black as the night sky, no life escaping through them. You felt like you were gazing into a black hole. His tall body sauntered over to you. Normally, you never really took notice of the height difference between you two but in this moment his height felt extremely forbidding.
“Okay, that’s enough it’s not funny.” You were getting irritated with his act. It was already extremely late and honestly you were exhausted. You wanted to forget about the whole demon catching thing and just go back to bed, snuggle up in your boyfriend’s arms.
You continued to watch Colby, starring deep into his soulless eyes. Then suddenly, the turned a blood red. Okay, so he wasn’t kidding about being the devil... He quickly ran towards you, tackling your body to the ground, pinning your arms above your head. You legs flailed beneath him, screams echoing through the room as you called for Sam who was just down the hall.
“Sam! Sam! Help me!” You cried, your voice cracking from the high intensity of your yells. Colby’s moved your wrist into one of his hands, shoving them hard into the wooden floorboards. His other hand stealthily slapped over your mouth, trying to hush your cries. “Be quiet darling, I won’t hurt you.” His voice came out as a whisper. Tears streamed down your face, your legs still swinging beneath you, banging the floor.
Any noise that you could make was a good thing. After what felt like ages Sam bust through the double doors of the bedroom. “Holy shit! Colby!” Sam yelled, running over to your rescue. Sam practically threw Colby’s body off you, making him smack the ground due to the force of the push. Colby’s eyes remained red, now glaring at Sam. “He’s possessed! Help me tie him to the chair or something!” You said as fast as you could, just wishing for this all to be over.
Sam nodded, using all his might to force Colby onto the office chair. You swung open the drawers from the dresser, rummaging through all the miscellaneous shit that was kept within. You finally pulled out what you had been looking for, zip ties. You tossed them over to Sam, allowing him to tightly tie Colby’s arms to the arm rests, then doing the same to his feet.
“Go grab me the book that I have in my room! It’s in the xplr backpack we use for filming, please hurry!” Sam said to you. You did what he said, frantically digging through the bag to find it. You brought it back and watched as he flipped through the pages.
“I got this on the last trip we took. It’s like an exorcism book, I have no idea how to do this but I figured this is our best bet.” Sam told you, finally landing on a page. Colby yanked and pulled as hard as he could, trying to free himself from the restraints. His mouth began to foam at the sides and you felt your stomach churn. Everything that you had seen happen in all the scary movies was happening right in your bedroom, to the one boy that you had ever truly loved. You prayed to everything that Sam’s prayer would work to free Colby from this demon inside.
“Saint Michael the Archangel, defund us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen!” Sam preached, yelling the pray straight at the devil taking form of your boyfriend.
Colby’s head dropped down, his whole body going limp. You ran towards him, dropping to your knees so you were level with his body. You raised his head up, brushing his dark hair out of his face. His eyes were shut and his lips were parted ever so slightly, it looked as though he was sleeping.
“Colby? Baby, can you hear me?” You asked softly. His eyes slowly fluttered open, revealing the normal color that they always were. He looked at you confused, with the dimmest sparkle, the look of innocence playing on all of his features. “Oh thank god!” You said, standing up and going to grab scissors. You cut Colby free from the restraints, wrapping him into a tight hug which he reciprocated despite the confusion. “What happened?” He asked, looking towards Sam as you remained wrapped around his body.
“You were possessed, I had to perform a seance on you bro. Are you alright?” Sam asked, coming closer to the two of you. You pulled away from the hug, telling Colby what happened. “I don’t know how but you got possessed when we finished up with the estes method. You were acting all weird and your eyes were black, and then you started to choke me. Your eyes turned all red and you tackled me to floor, I yelled for Sam and thank god you’re okay. I was so worried.”
“What? I did all of that? Are you hurt? Did I hurt you?” Colby asked, a hundred questions leaving his mouth.
“I’m fine, I’m just glad you’re okay. That was the scariest moment of my life, you better stop fucking around with the paranormal stuff for awhile I seriously thought that I had lost you forever.” You said, your eyes tearing up slightly as you realized how truly scared you were. Colby took you into his arms again, rocking you side to side.
“I’m so so sorry. I promise I won’t mess with anything for awhile. I love you so much.” He said, placing a few long kisses to the top of your forehead. You only wished that he actually meant what he said. You couldn’t imagine a world without him in it.

the chosen daughter // colby brock - chapter twenty-one
A/N: i can't believe it's been four months since i last posted. it doesn't feel like it was that long ago. sorry about the long wait, everyone. hopefully this very eventful chapter makes up for it. i promise to get the next one out sooner rather than later. let me know what you guys think ! see you next time and enjoy :)
story description
trigger warning: violence, fighting, uncomfortable/creepy behavior, cursing, club scene, drinking, mentions of blood, vampire powers, manipulation
word count: 4952
~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I woke up in the morning after leaving work early, I was exhausted. My anger from last night was still very prominent. I knew I couldn't go back in today. The idea of seeing that bar, or Roger, or Ronnie... I could feel my blood boiling.
I needed a night off. I needed a night to just have fun. Go crazy, relax. Pretend that danger didn't exist around every corner.
“I want to party tonight.” I stated abruptly, walking into the apartment, and shoving my bag down.
Tara gazed up at me, her eyes widening. “What?”
“I want to party tonight. Like, here, at the Trapp Haus.” I repeated.
Kat sat up quickly, her mouth dropping. “Really? Oh my God.”
I furrowed my brows at them jokingly, “What's that reaction for?”
“We’re just surprised. You don't exactly scream 'partying type'.” Tara admitted.
“Well, tonight I am.” I scanned the rest of the apartment, “Kevin?”
He called from the kitchen, “Yeah? What's up, Jade?”
“Have you had your second human night already?” I asked, stepping towards him.
“No, it's next week. Why?” He answered.
I batted my eyelashes overdramatically, “Can you please make it tonight?”
“Jade wants to go crazy.” Kat chimed in from the couch.
He rolled his eyes but smiled, slowly walking towards the apartment door. “...Give me five minutes, I'll tell my connections to tell everyone.”
“Thanks Kevin!” I yelled, watching him walk down the stairs.
“Now, what do you plan to wear?” Tara questioned, strutting up to me.
I huffed. “...Shit. I haven't really ever bought club clothes before.”
“No need to worry, I have a dress that I think will look perfect on you.” Tara requested over her shoulder, “Kat, can you do her makeup?”
Kat nodded. “Of course.”
I puzzled. “Makeup?”
“Just a little. You're gonna look so hot, Colby's gonna have to kill all the guys in the club.” Tara joked.
Kat hummed, getting off the couch and grabbing my hand. “And he probably will anyway.”
~\/\/~
“Jade, are you ready?” Tara shouted from outside the bathroom.
“Yeah, give me a minute.” I responded.
After hours of saying I wanted to party, the time had finally come. Kevin was nice enough to give everyone the night off, including Colby. He bumped up security so that they didn't need to be on high alert. So, everyone was ready to party. And I was too.
I think.
I cocked my head from side to side, staring at myself in the mirror. I looked nice, I guess. The red dress Tara had given me surprisingly fit. It was just a bit short. But I weirdly didn't mind it. I needed this dress tonight. I needed to let loose and have fun. That was the whole point of this night.
I just need to take a couple shots and I'd be golden.
I finally stepped out of the bathroom, glancing around the apartment. Tara and Kat picked their heads up, looking at me. Their eyes widened, their smiles bright. “Holy shit, Jade! You look gorgeous!”
Sam and Jake turned to me, a surprised look coming to their faces.
Sam glanced over me, “Wow... Jade. You look really...”
“Hot.” Jake grinned.
Tara smacked Jake's arm hard, a loud wince falling from his lips. “Jesus, what was that for?!”
“You're just so smackable sometimes,” Tara jeered, her attention turning back to me. “How do you feel?”
“I'm okay. A little nervous. Haven't worn a dress in... a very long time.” I noticed we were missing a couple different people, “Where's the rest of XPLR?”
“Kevin is already in the VIP section, and Mike has been out all day, but he'll be here later if he isn't here now,” Kat informed, and then nodded towards the stairs. “And Colby... is coming up right now.”
“Are you guys finally ready to par-” Colby's eyes landed on me, snaking up and down my body. I raised an eyebrow at him, and in the blink of an eye he was in front of me.
I giggled at his expression, “Hi.”
“Hey. What... are you wearing?” He gazed down at my body, cupping my hips.
“Tara is lending me it.” I explained.
Colby bit his lip, nodding his head. “Oh, thank you Tara.”
“You're welcome.” Tara snickered.
“I don't think you can leave, though.” Colby continued.
“What? Why?” I pouted.
“I don't know if I can let you leave this apartment with that dress on.” His icy blue eyes landed on mine, his voice low, “I think I have to take it off first.”
A blush rose to my cheeks, a tiny gasp falling from my lips. "Colby."
“Did I tell you that you look beautiful yet?” He whispered, getting close to my face.
I shook my head, biting back a smile, “No.”
“You look beautiful.” He pecked my lips sweetly, taking my breath for a moment.
“Alright lovebirds, you ready to go?” Sam queried.
“Yeah, we're coming.” Colby slid his leather jacket off, slipping it over my shoulders. “Here, wear my jacket.”
“But I'm not cold.” I argued.
“He's just trying to cover up your scent a bit.” Tara turned to Colby, “You shouldn't worry about her smell. There's plenty of humans in the club.”
“As if that's the only reason someone would come up to her.” Jake mumbled, leaning away from Tara as she went to smack his arm again.
Colby kept me close as we slowly left the apartment and entered the club. The music hit me hard, the thumping of the beat making me want to move my body. Kevin waved us over, his eyes landing on me as he whistled. “Damn, Jade. Look at you. Gorgeous as ever.”
“Thank you Kevin.” I laughed.
“Woah,” Mike looked me over, “You're actually kinda hot, Jade.”
I narrowed my eyes at him, “And you're still kind of a dick, Mike.”
Kat chuckled, “Where the hell have you been all day, anyway?”
“Just busy.” He shrugged.
“Alright, alright. Enough of the semantics. Here's a shot for everyone.” Kevin belted over the loud music, passing out the shots.
I whined sarcastically, “No chaser?”
“Chasers are for pussies.” Mike remarked.
I quipped, “You mean the thing you don't get?”
Mike feigned hurt, clutching his chest, “Ooh, you burn me, Jade.”
“Bite me Mike.” I hissed.
Mike smirked, his mischievous eyes staring into mine, "Cheers Jade."
Kevin yelled, clinking his glass with ours, "Cheers everyone!"
~\/\/~
The night was beginning to blur after the three mixed drinks had settled into my system. I kept people watching occassionally, staring down at the club dance floor. I really wanted to dance, but Colby wouldn't.
I glared at Colby, sighing loudly. “You're so lame, you know that, right?”
“For not dancing? No, it would be lamer if you saw my dance moves,” Colby grabbed his drink, taking a sip. “Or... lack thereof.”
“We’ll go with her.” Tara smirked, “Don't be a loser, Colby.”
Mike suddenly spoke. “I'll go down with them.”
“What?” Kat, Tara, and I questioned.
He chuckled, “I said I'll go down with you guys. I need to stretch my legs anyway. This booth isn't made for 6'4 tall people.”
I didn’t try to argue, even though I was confused about Mike. “Alright, I now have three bodyguards. Am I okay to go down? Not to mention that there is no way anyone, Rinaldi or Max, could have gotten in without us knowing.”
Colby paused, and then nodded his head. “Yeah, go ahead. I'll watch from up here in case.”
I beamed, kissing his cheek quickly as Kat grabbed my hand, following Tara and Mike down the steps of the VIP and going out onto the dance floor. The song changed into a more upbeat dance track, and the crowded club intensified. I started swaying my hips, Tara and Kat following suit with me. I let my body move along with the music, closing my eyes. A moment later, I felt someone close to me. I opened my eyes, expecting Tara or Kat. But my eyes landed on Mike's tall frame. I stopped, staring at his face. He grinned, shimmying his shoulders to the song. I held back a laugh, never seeing him dance before.
His ears caught my laugh, even through the loud music. "What? We can't all be good at dancing like you, Jade."
I raised an eyebrow at his comment, “I'm just surprised. Didn't see you as the shimmying type.”
"I do a good two-step sometimes." He side-stepped back and forth. I followed his lead, mimicking his dance. Suddenly, he grabbed my hand and spun me.
I stumbled, grabbing his arm, “Oh my God, don't do that! The world is already a little spinny.”
“What? You've only had three drinks. How adorable, you're a light-weight.” He glanced over my body again.
Was he… flirting with me?
I gasped, swatting at him. “I'm not a light-weight! I just haven't drank in a while.”
“That's why you gotta be like me. Drink every day, and you never have to worry about being a light-weight.” He sang.
I teased, “I think you have a problem, Mike.”
“Yeah, maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm eternally 24.” He deadpanned, getting close to me again.
I shrugged, stepping back. “Could be.”
“All this talk about drinking has really made me thirsty. I'll be right back.” He pointed towards the bar.
I watched Mike walk away from us, and I slowly turned to Kat and Tara. “What the hell was that?”
“What?” Kat puzzled.
“Mike was... actually nice to me.” And may have flirted with me…
Tara’s mouth gaped open. “Oh my God, hell must have froze over.”
I rolled my eyes at her. “I'm just so surprised. He's been a dick to me since the beginning. Why change now?”
“Maybe he's finally starting to come around to you,” Tara commented. “Maybe he realizes that Colby actually cares about you, and he just needs to accept you ain't going anywhere.”
“He was a rude to me when I first met him and Kevin.” Kat reassured.
I cocked my head, “Really?”
“...No,” She frowned. “But maybe Tara's right. Maybe he's just trying to be friendly.”
“I don't know...” My voice trailed off.
“Well, don't harp on it too much. This is your night to enjoy.” Tara cheered over the music, “So shake some fucking ass!”
~\/\/~
After a couple hours of coming on and off the dance floor with Tara, Kat, and Mike, I was starting to get tired and needed to be away from the club. Most importantly, I needed to take off my heels and switch into literally any other shoe.
“Where is everyone?” I asked, glancing around.
“Kevin's making sure the bars are still stocked, Kat and Tara are people watching with Sam and Jake, and Mike... went to the bathroom, I think.” Colby mentioned, leaning into me.
I smiled drunkenly, wrapping my arm around his shoulder. “How are you doing, babe?”
He snorted, looking me up and down. “I'm doing good. You and Mike seem to be having fun.”
“I needed this night. So fucking bad. But I forgot the worst thing about going out.” I huffed, ignoring his comment about Mike.
“The drunk people, the shitty music…” He leaned in close, “your terrible boyfriend not dancing with you?”
I shook my head dramatically. “No... the heels.”
“Oh right, how could I forget?” He sassed.
I slid my arm off him, dragging my body across the booth until I was out of it. “I'm gonna go up to the apartment and put on some sneakers or something.”
“You want me to come with you?” He inquired.
“No, I'll be like five minutes.” I went to leave, stopping abruptly to turn back to him. “Also, you're not terrible for not dancing with me. I expect you to pay me back though.”
Colby’s eyes gazed into mine alluringly, “What would you like as payment?”
I leaned in close, our lips almost brushing. “…I'll take cash.”
He sucked his teeth, sitting back into his seat. He glared lightly at me, “Just go change your shoes.”
I walked into the back office, heading slowly up the stairs. By the time I got to the apartment door, I already had my heels off, groaning in pain. I stumbled into the apartment, and Mike suddenly came out of our bathroom, surprising me.
I exhaled, dropping my shoulders. “Oh shit, you scared me.”
“Sorry.” Mike replied quietly.
“What are you doing up here?” I questioned.
Mike scoffed. “The bathroom downstairs is disgusting.”
I blinked. “Couldn't you just pee outside?”
“Do I look like a dog?” I opened my mouth to respond, but Mike shot me down. “Don't answer that. Why are you here?”
“Well, I do kinda live here. And also, I wanted to change out of my heels. My feet are killing me,” I chucked my heels by the door, walking towards the kitchen. “But first, I'm in dire need of some water.”
He raised an eyebrow at me. “You could have gotten some downstairs.”
I sighed. “Yeah, but I just kept forgetting to order some.”
I ripped open the fridge door, grabbing a water bottle quickly. Mike slid between me and the counter, the front of his body brushing against my back.
I cleared my throat. “You could have told me to move.”
“My bad.” He jumped onto the counter, sitting down. He fixed the buttons of his sleeves. “Tonight was a lot of fun.”
I hummed, smiling. “Yeah, and the night isn't even over yet. You know, I kinda actually like you being nice to me.”
“And I actually like being nice to you.” He admitted.
I fake-gasped. “Who would have thought that?”
I took a long sip from the bottle, resting my back against opposite counter. Mike's eyes stared down at my wrist, his face scrunching.
“Your bracelet doesn't match.” Mike noticed.
I furrowed my brows. “What?”
“Your bracelet doesn't match your outfit. You're in a red little number and that's black.” He stated.
I snickered. “Are you giving me fashion advice, Mr. Only-Wears-Black?”
“Well at least everything matches.” He crossed his arms smugly.
“Next time I'll tell Sam and Colby to make me a customizable bracelet.” I remarked.
Mike’s face perked up. “Oh, is that the one that alerts everyone? I’ve never seen it.”
I nodded my head. He pointed at it, "Can I?"
I slid it off, handing it over to Mike. He fiddled around with it in his hands, gazing down at the button.
“It's cool how it tells everyone where you are. I just get a notif on my phone.” He revealed.
“Yeah. I don't know how it works, but Sam is so smart for coming up with it. Well, technically Colby came up with it, but Sam created it.” I half smiled.
“Team effort,” he mumbled. “Here you go.”
I reached out for the bracelet, but Mike dropped it before I could grab it.
“Oh damn, my bad.” He laughed.
I shrugged. “It's no problem, I'll just-”
Before I could bend down, Mike jumped off the counter, crushing the bracelet under his boot. My body froze, a mixture of anger and worry coursed through me.
Mike’s tone changed, his voice no longer sounding friendly. “Shit. Shouldn't have done that either.”
I stammered, trying to play off my fear. “W-why did you jump off right then? I was reaching for it!”
“Guess I don't know my own strength.” His cold eyes landing on mine, “Besides, it's not like you need it.”
“Well now Sam and Colby need to make me another one. In the meantime, what if I'm in danger?” I rambled.
He turned his head to the side, eyeing me. “Do you feel like you're gonna be in danger soon?”
Yes. "No, but who knows what could happen. Max and Rinaldi could show up."
“You know they aren't the only danger you could face, right?” Mike closed the space between us. “There's a club downstairs full of vampires. They could come up here and attack you.”
“But you're here. You wouldn't allow that.” I asserted, narrowing my eyes.
He chuckled, his voice too gentle, “Of course not. Colby would be so pissed off if you got hurt.”
My heart picked up pace at the sound of Colby’s name. “Speaking of, I think I'm gonna head back down to the club.”
“You kinda need shoes to enter the club.” Mike jested.
Fuck me for taking my shoes off.
“I’ll just put my heels back on. I got to rest my feet so I'm good now.” I assured, starting to leave the kitchen.
He shoved his hand down on the counter, blocking me from exiting. He stepped closer. I pressed my body into the counter, trying to keep some space between us. “Why don't you stay up here for another minute? I'm sure Colby can last a little bit longer without you.”
“Mike, what are you doing?” My breath hitched.
“Nothing. I just wanna talk.” He cooed.
I retorted, “Then talk.”
He sighed, inching closer. “Jade, I'm sorry I've been mean to you. I'm just not really good at expressing myself.”
I tried to not roll my eyes, knowing he was lying. “Apology accepted. Now-”
“I'm not done.” He interjected. “Do you wanna know something that is on my mind... right now?”
“Not really, but I have a feeling you're gonna tell me anyway.” I spat, my voice trembling.
“Do you know who I'm really jealous of?” He asked.
Dear Lord above, do not say Colby. "Who?"
“Caleb.” Mike answered.
I finally looked at him, confused. “C-Caleb?”
“Yeah, do you remember him?” He queried.
I swallowed hard. “...I remember his blood splattering across my face when Rinaldi decapitated him in front of me. Kinda can't forget that.”
“Well, I'm actually really jealous of him.” Mike placed his other arm down, completely blocking me from leaving. He leaned in, his eyes never leaving mine. “I'm jealous of the fact that he got to do the one thing I've always wanted to do. Taste... your... blood.”
I exhaled bitingly. “You broke my bracelet on purpose, didn't you?”
A light laugh fell from his lips. “You are so adorable when you're scared.”
In the blink of an eye, Mike's teeth sunk into the flesh of my neck. I screamed out in pain, my pleas cut short from Mike's hand slamming down over my mouth. I bit his fingers as hard as I could, Mike ripping his mouth away laughing. “I love it rough, Jade. You're gonna have to do better than that!”
I kneed him in the balls, a harsh groan falling from his lips. I tried yanking myself towards the farthest drawer, knowing there would be stakes in there. Mike grabbed me by the wrist, spinning me and slamming me into the fridge. His hand wrapped around my neck, holding me against it.
He stared down at my chest, his red eyes devilish. "That necklace is very pretty. Too bad it also doesn't match."
"What are you, the fashion police?" I choked out, clawing at his hand.
"Why don't you tell me about it?" Mike closed his eyes tightly, his hot pink aura appearing and engrossing me. The edges of the aura weren't the same color, a dark red coursed around him. "How did you get that necklace?"
Mike knew his powers didn't work on me. What the fuck was he doing? Was it my blood? Or was it something else?
“Tell me about your necklace, Jade.” He commanded.
“It's my families. It's the only thing I have left of them.” I confessed honestly.
“How sad.” Mike grabbed my wrist, bringing it up to his nose. "God, you smell delicious."
“Colby's gonna kill you when he comes up here.” I snarled, shaking against his tight hold.
He squeezed my throat harder at Colby’s name. “There's not much he can do if you're dead.”
“If you kill me, you can't drink from me.” I challenged, yanking my wrist as hard as I could.
“That's true. What a terrible situation to be in.” He sighed dramatically, “Oh well.”
Mike bit into my wrist, drinking from me slowly. I cried out again, my vision blurring. I shoved my free hand forward, stabbing Mike in the eye with all of my strength. My fake nails pierced through his skin, blood gushing around my fingers. He dropped me, screeching out painfully. I ran, almost reaching the door before being grabbed by Mike. I fought against his hold again, doing my best to throw him off me.
"God, you are so weak. I told Colby you're helpless." He whispered harshly into my ear, menacingly. He spun me around, his one good eye landing on my wound. "I can already feel my powers getting stronger, and I haven't even had that much of your blood. Imagine if I drank you dry."
I begged, fighting against him. “Mike, please don't do this. You don't need to do this.”
"No, I do," Mike ran his tongue against my wound, his teeth just grazing my skin. I held back the urge to vomit on him.
He looked crazed, a mix of his blood and mine running down his face. “This damn necklace needs to come off! It might infect your bite.”
Mike slid his hand up, grabbing the crystal. A shockwave went through me and Mike, a power surging through the necklace and into us, shooting us apart. It launched Mike across the living room, smashing him into the wall. My body slammed into the counters of the kitchen. My body dropped hard from force, my head slamming down on the ground.
~\/\/~
Everything came back to me suddenly. I could hear yelling, a commotion not too far from me. I sat up, my body now on the couch. As my vision came back to me, my eyes landed on Colby being held back by literally everyone. Kevin was holding his arms from behind, Sam and Jake were pushing him into Kevin, telling him to calm down. Kat and Tara stood on the side of him, glaring at Mike, who was on the floor holding up his arms defensively.
“I'm gonna fucking murder you, Mike!” Colby growled, thrashing against Kevin’s hold.
Kevin grunted, “Colby, calm down!”
“I don't even remember what happened!” Mike shouted.
Colby roared, his red eyes narrowing, “Mike, I'll rip your fucking head off!”
I stood up, way too fast, and stumbled a bit. Everyone turned to the sound of me falling into the coffee table. "Colby... don't."
His voice softened, “Jade...”
I staggered over to Colby. Kevin loosened his hold on him slightly, Sam and Jake stepped away so I could get close to him.
I placed my hands on his chest, trying to stable myself. “I'm okay.”
He rebutted darkly, “Clearly you're not.”
“Don't kill Mike.” I stated.
“Yeah Colby. Listen to your girlfriend!” Mike exclaimed, still on the floor.
Colby lurched forward, glaring over my shoulder. I turned to Mike, my eyes gazing down at him.
He stared at me, a look of shock appearing across his face. “I... did that?”
“Of course you fucking did. And you're gonna pay-” Colby started.
Tara interrupted, “Colby, chill for a second. Clearly Mike doesn't remember.”
“Exactly. Thank you, Tara.” Mike replied pompously.
“Shut it, Mike. You’re lucky I don’t kill you.” Tara argued, glowering at him.
“Guys, can you just relax for a second?” Sam chimed in aggressively. “Mike, what was the last thing you remember?”
“I... don't know. I was out, walking around the city, and then...” Mike’s voice trailed off for a moment, his eyes widening. “No.”
“What? What 'no'?” Jake inquired.
“This guy came up to me and told me to attack Jade.” Mike responded.
“What? Who?” Colby fumed.
“I don't know! His face was covered. He said it to me, but I didn't think anything of it,” Mike remembered. “And then... I woke up here. On the floor. With Colby ready to bite my head off.”
“You don't remember attacking me?” I puzzled.
“Not at all. I don't even remember coming to the club.” He disclosed calmly.
“You danced with me, Tara, and Jade.” Kat told.
Mike scoffed, “Ew. I don't dance.”
“That sounds about right.” Tara deadpanned.
“And you were nice to me.” I murmured.
He pursed his lips, “You see, that should have been your first clue something was off. I don't like you.”
“Now's not the time to be snarky Mike.” Colby snapped from behind me. “I'll still kill you for what you did to her.”
“You would really kill me over this? Even though I don’t remember attacking her?” Mike gasped.
“You harmed Jade, you're lucky I don't stake you right now!” Colby’s voice thundered.
I continued. “What color eyes did the guy have?”
“What?” Mike paused, thinking. “I don't know... green?”
My heart sank. “Max's eyes are green.”
“So Max did this? He got you attacked. For what though?” Sam questioned angrily.
Kevin asserted, “Well, it had to be an elder that told Mike to attack Jade. So it was either Rinaldi or Max.”
“Unless there’s a third elder… or fourth.” Jake mentioned, his eyes widening at the thought.
“It had to be Max. The guy was shorter than me, Rinaldi is the same height as me,” Mike disagreed. “I gotta ask though, how the hell did I end up over here and knocked out?”
“We assumed it was Jade, since none of us knew this was happening.” Kevin remarked.
“Jade? You think Jade pushed me into a wall so hard that I broke the plaster?” Mike snorted. “Sounds a little far fetch.”
“Well, what happened then?” Everyone turned to me.
“I... I don't remember,” I lied. “Everything's a bit of a blur.”
“Let's just figure this out more tomorrow. Let's calm down, and get this place cleaned up. I got a club I gotta close.” Kevin glanced down at Colby, “Can I let you go without harming Mike?”
“Yeah, yeah. I'm fine.” Colby exhaled deeply.
I looked over at Kat as Kevin released Colby. “Kat, can I talk to you alone for a second?”
She nodded. “Sure.”
I walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind Kat.
“What's up?” She asked, leaning against the counter.
I swallowed hard, my nerves getting the better of me. “I know what happened, how Mike got slammed into that wall. The necklace did it.”
Kat gaped, stuttering. “What? H-how is that-?”
I shook my head. “I don't know. All I know is... I think it was trying to protect me. Mike tried to rip it off my neck, and it shocked us both back. That's why I was passed out when you guys came up here. The necklace did it. I saw it launch him across the room.”
“Well if it was trying to protect you, why didn't it stop him when he was drinking from you?” She queried.
“I think it only works if someone tries to touch it while it's on me.” I paused, then slowly took it off. “Could you... hold onto it for me? Maybe do some research about it in your spell book?”
She agreed, taking it from me. “Sure. I'll see what's up.”
“It was so weird, I felt this power inside of it come out when it launched Mike.” I added, “While he was attacking me, he asked about it.”
“Really?” Kat uttered.
“He wanted me to tell him about it. He tried to use his powers on me to make me tell the truth about it.” I disclosed nervously.
“That's so weird. He knows that his powers don't work on you.” She stated, shaking her head in disbelief.
“Yeah, but Rinaldi and Max don't know about my abilities,” I affirmed. “If they got Mike to attack me, they wouldn't know his powers don't work.”
Her face dropped at the mention of them. “He thinks it was Max who told him to attack you.”
“I'm not so sure. There was a dark red aura around Mike when he was using his power.” I stared down at the ground, biting my lip, “I think someone else was controlling him.”
A loud yell came from outside the door. I yanked it open, staring out into the apartment. Colby stood in front of Mike, stabbing a stake through him, just underneath his heart.
“Dude what the fuck?!” Mike bellowed.
Colby gripped the stake handle hard, “I don't care if you only hurt Jade because you were forced to do it. I'm letting you know this now that if you ever hurt Jade again, regardless of the circumstance, I will kill you.”
“That's pretty a harsh thing to say to your friend.” Mike argued, wincing in pain.
“You're lucky you're alive right now, friend,” Colby hissed. “I'm gonna go take a walk around the block and try to calm down. When I come back, you better be out of my apartment. And while I'm gone, apologize to Jade.”
Mike protested, “But-”
Colby cut him off, shoving the stake forward an inch more. “Don't fucking argue with me Mike. Say you're sorry and get the fuck out.”
Colby glanced at me, his anger melting for only a split second, and then he vanished out the door.
Mike coughed, grunting as he yanked out the stake. He sat down on the couch, trying to catch his breath.
He gazed over at me, barely looking for a moment. "I'm sorry, Jade. I genuinely didn't know what I was doing."
“It's fine.” I mumbled, crossing my arms.
Mike let out a soft chuckle, rubbing his wound as it began to heal. "I'll try not to kill you next time."
I scowled, annoyed. “How about no next time, fucker.”
My thoughts on the last conjuring video:
• Their previewing music is giving me some Viking vibes and I’m here for it.
•Carousel Solby is happiness
• The fact they said their names to the owners is just scary as shit and I feel this could be a weird trap from the demons to get them back in the house.
• Advertising xplr club and I weep for I am poor
• Seth lasting only 30 secs
• Josh and Seth hell yeah
• I think the Amanda and Scott in the sand is just a coincidence, someone who visited before them could of written their names there. But who knows, maybe the spirits write down fake ass people in their mean girls sand book. “Amanda is such a fake betch” -scribbles her name in the sand with gel pen-
• “Maybe they want us to do videos with more mediums”
Tumblr media
Stop Sam. Please stop. Maybe the spirits are actually telling you guys to stay away from them, because clout chasing fake mediums Amanda are harmful to spirits.
• Also thank you Sam and Colby for saying everything about Bathsheba is speculation and rumors you rarely hear anyone state that. 🥰
She was buried on Christian soil, If she were indeed a witch they wouldn’t have let her body be buried there. Even though the witch trials happened centuries before her time, people still held onto those beliefs.
Whatever this woman really did led people to dirty her name and movies bank off of it and make it worse. Chances are she was hated for being different, and anything you did made you a witch and even if she was one (because there is nothing wrong in that) I don’t think there’s any proof she was an evil one.
•BOB THE BONE FINDER
•Sam hates the woods and Colby hates bridges
•Josh is an adorable Jersey Devil 😌
• Snakes showing up outta nowhere got me saying “Nope Fuck that”
• “Dude, and there’s BATS!” Ain’t nothin’ but a sky puppy, Colby. 🥰
• “Perfect setting for us to die” “Oh god no we are not going to do that again, because we might actually die here”
•Colby saying he’d never leave her behind was just Awh
•Colby: Walk the beam I haven’t done gymnastics since the third grade!
Josh: Dang, Good luck bro.
Seth: You were a gymnast, Colby?
Colby: Fuck yeah bro. I can do the splits on anything!
Sam: O-On On anything, or? 😳
Incorrect quote to appease the Solby gods Colby: On that ass 😏
• Sam choosing the right way was adorable and shows he has a very good intuition.
•Colby making an angry face and Sam leaning on him to make him laugh with “Fat nutties” while also stuttering (flashback to that car video if you know you know) was extremely fucking cute and my Solby feels are flying.
• Also the fact Colby didn’t laugh at Sam for stuttering and was just casually still playing mad, was very cute because it shows he cares so much about Sam and Sam might have issues with stuttering that Colby doesn’t find funny. 🥰
• That pentagram is inverted which does mean evil.
•Yes double Estes
• It was heart wrenching the way Sam shot up over hearing Colby’s name and Colby said Sam’s name in such a painful way.
• Their going in alone guys! Woooooooo
•The I love you exchanges 😌🙌🏻
• “What if we stayed the night at the Stanley Hotel”okay yes hyped hyped! “But we bring Amanda.”
Tumblr media
WHY?
Why do you have to always bring Amanda? She is a bad vibe con artist, she brings nothing to the videos with her classic “I was just about to say that!” being about the only thing she says. Honestly I push through for SnC and the others they bring with them, but Amanda is just sucking the joy from the videos like a vampire who doesn’t know how to read the room or when they’ve over stayed their welcome and won’t leave.
•Neck touching ghosts
• Confused R2-D2
• “Uh uh!” Colby, mood
• I love when Sam and Colby are alone ghost hunting because their excitement to catching stuff is adorable.
• The fact a full body was in that window is unnerving, whatever it was drained Sam’s walkie and was being a huge stalker.
• Sam and Colby being worried about each other durning the end 🥺 We Stan in this house. 🙌🏻
• I’d love to see them do more videos with just themselves, just maybe no more listening to Amanda’s about stuff that could put them at risk. Give us an xplr duo vid please.
