The first time Adelaide appears on an archive of the American website is on February 9th, 2018:

THE CHOPPER QUEEN ADELAIDE DRUBMAN Adelaide Drubman is healthier, wealthier, and wiser than most folks. Just ask her: she’ll be glad to tell you all about herself. Addie married a wealthy older man, Hurk Drubman Sr., when she was in her 20s. After a decade of indifference and infidelity from her husband, Addie filed for divorce. Paradise was lost once Eden’s Gate started sniffing around, begging to buy up her land. When she refused to sell out, they came with guns and took it by force. Banished from her own home, a furious Addie has been plotting revenge and brushing up on target practice with her prized AK-47.

“Learn More” was once again a link to “The Hope County Resistance” (February 8th, 2018), and the article said this about her:

Their shared love of Reagan, Jesus Christ, and the NRA was a match made in heaven. It was after their son Hurk Jr. was born that Hurk Sr.’s attention started to drift to…other interests. While father and son went on hunting trips, Addie stayed home to manage Hurk Sr.’s holdings—unpaid of course. After a decade of indifference and infidelity from her husband, Addie filed for divorce. She and her lawyer ensured she got the lion’s share, including Hurk Sr.’s marina. In turn, she “let” Hurk Sr. keep the kid and enjoyed her life to the fullest: booze, bazookas, and boy toys. Now in her 50s, Addie is still trying to live the same life. A few months ago, she spied a hot young SoCal mimbo on vacation at her marina. One look at his big…blue eyes and she just had to have him. Her bank account was full to bursting, so Addie lavished him with gifts and, after a while, convinced Xander Holt to move in with her. For Adelaide, it was paradise. But paradise was lost once Eden’s Gate started sniffing around, begging to buy up her land. When she refused to sell out, they came with guns and took it by force. Banished from her own home, a furious Addie has been plotting revenge and brushing up on target practice with her prized AK-47.

As for the European website, which called her Hurk’s Mom instead of The Chopper Queen, this is what it said about her:

ADELAIDE DRUBMAN HURK’S MOM Adelaide Drubman is healthier, wealthier, and wiser than most folks. But paradise was lost once Eden’s Gate banished her from her own home. Since then, a furious Addie has flown the skies in her helicopter plotting her revenge.

Commentary

Interestingly, while she was always called The Chopper Queen on the American website, they don’t mention her helicopter, Tulip. However, Eden’s Gate indeed stole her home, the Drubman Marina (but that most likely happened when the Reaping began, not before). She got it when she divorced Hurk Drubman Sr., whom she says is lazy and preferred to drink instead of running his business. I don’t think she ever says he cheated on her, but Hurk Jr. hints (sometimes without even realizing it) that she cheated on his dad.

The game doesn’t say how old she is, but if she really got married in her 20s, filed for divorce after only “a decade” of indifference, and is now in her 50s... well, I’m even more confused by the timeline than I already was!

Her boyfriend Xander is still from California in Far Cry 5, but his last name is Flynn, not Holt. As for his eyes, they appear to be brown/hazel and not blue. As far as I know, there is no information about Adelaide showering him with gifts but I think it’s totally believable. And this is a detail, but the gun she uses is an “AR-C”, not an AK-47.

Virgil is the former Mayor of Hope County and is scene through the Hebane River storyline. Hes holed up in the jail along with the rest the Cougars and made pins for everyone.

Xander Flynn is Adelaides- the wiki says "lover," but that's a boy toy. Let's be real - he features in the quest "Eco-warriors" and has many voice lines in Adelaides quest.

“We should get the hell out of here, boy, before anyone else comes investigating the screaming and gunshots.”

Boomer barked at her in response.

“You’re the most agreeable partner I’ve ever had, you know?” she teased as she pushed away from the tree.

Then the pair took off along the road. She tried to stay in the brush and take cover anytime a vehicle sped past. Not all of them were trucks and not all were sprayed with that dingy shade of mayonnaise white that most of Joseph Seed’s people tended to drive. But it was by far the most common occurrence.

Their cover broke near the Hollyhock Saloon. She might have given the place a wide berth, except that she noticed a man in civvies bound and on his knees in the front parking lot. The blond woman standing over him was reading from a thick white bound book. Judging from the crashes and tinkling of broken glass, there were more Peggies in the bar.

“Oh, shit,” she breathed, when the woman drew a pistol from within the book and lowered it toward the captive. Tayen fired without a thought. She couldn’t let her kill that man.

“Get down!” she yelled, at him as she rushed forward. Bullets sprayed the fence and she stumbled into a crouch behind a vehicle on the other side of the fence.

Ah yes, this page is here to remind us that the pair of bad guys wanna join Xander on his unknown cruisade against the universe in the name of “destiny“. This B plot is SO disconnected from the main story that I’m surprised they keep bringing it up and giving Destiny Man so much importance. Hell, he gets more focus in this crossover than most of the Sonic and Mega Man cast.

Perhaps if they connected it to what was going on in the final fight it would have been less of a goddamned footnote? Have Wily thinking about Dr. Light and how he’ll finally overshadow him, or Eggman contacting Metal Sonic in the middle of battle and physically see the carnage that’s going on? Or have them outsmart Mr. Destiny, using his knowledge to give the good guys an unexpected edge in the Sigma fight?? Anything is better than simply a bunch of issues of the evil geniuses unquestionably following Xander!

A few of Far Cry 5’s characters’ former names (according to the files)

Did you know that some characters used to have different names? Here’s what I found:

Adelaide Drubman - Penny Johnson (I’m not sure; it’s unclear)

Casey Fixman - Casey Seagal or Casey Storm

Chad Wolanski - Chad Gardetto

Faith Seed - Selena Seed

George Wilson - George Beel

Guy Marvel - Guy Martel (headcanon: it’s still his name but he thought Marvel was a cooler name for a movie director)

Hurk Drubman Senior - Wayne Senior

Joseph Seed - Daniel Seed

Merle Briggs - Merle Clinton

Wilhelmina Mable - Wilhelmina Maybelline

Tammy Barnes - Tammy Palmer (was she supposed to be Eli’s wife? Maybe!)

Also, I’ve said this before but Deputy Pratt’s first name is actually Stacy and not Staci. In the files, it’s only not spelled Stacy once, in the end credits... which is also, unfortunately, the only time players had a chance to see it written.

According to the files, Larry Parker’s first name is Laurence, the man we meet near Arcade machines is Morris Aubrey, and the fisherman is Coyote Nelson… but his description in the unreleased in-game encyclopedia also implies he died, so that might be inaccurate.
