Apologies in advance if this ask is haphazard. I am not as deep in the kpop world as I’d like to be. I think I actually only know about Hybe groups and maybe a few songs from other groups due to Instagram and kdramas.

In the 1.5 years I’ve followed BTS, I’ve been absolutely wowed by them and their performances. I’ve not felt the need to check out other group performances as much.

Being on tumblr, naturally, one comes across discourse or opinions on other groups. And I’ve seen some people comment about BTS fans being entitled or harsh towards other groups. This was most apparent when Taemin came out with Guilty. Now, I’m not going to take away from his artistry but guilty is not my type of music. The only reason why I even know of Taemin is because of the dance challenge he did with Jimin. And to be honest, I find Jimin a better dancer. For all the videos I’ve seen with the two of them dancing togerher, Jimin always comes out top.

I know Jimin has said before that Taemin inspires him a lot. And it probably is very true. From what I’ve read, Taemin debuted at a very young age and was the stand out performer in Shinee. I will give credit where due - the concept for his Guilty music video is very boundary pushing and speaks of an artist who isn’t afraid to experiment his/other darker sides, afraid of pushing the envelope. But that doesn’t make him the most amazing dancer or performer?

But it also doesn’t mean that BTS fans should call him a cheap Jimin copy. Whilst I do think Jimin is a superior artist, I think the fact that he respects Taemin and has been inspired by him should be enough of a reason for his/BTS fans accord the same to Taemin.

In your opinion, BPP, do you think Taemin is a better dancer, performer, artist than Jimin and are his fans right when they scoff at comparisons with Jimin (whom they may or may not love but consider an inferior performer)?

Also, I find your ask interesting because reading it, you seem like a fan of Taemin and his music despite you saying “guilty is not my type of music.” Or at least, more accommodating of the ideas you’ve picked up about him.

That said, yeah I agree with you that some ARMYs view BTS (and Jimin) as being the best there is when it comes to performing, and they are critical of other performers in comparison. On one hand, it’s understandable given BTS are the best performers around. That was literally BTS’s claim to fame and they outshot every group while they were active, including SHINee that’s also a very good group when it comes to performing.

A second reason you see this dynamic is because it’s constant across all fandoms in k-pop. Every fandom has a superiority complex on account of their favourite groups/idols. Shawols and SM stans will tell you SHINee/Taemin is better; Stays will tell you Stray Kids is the better group; YG stans will tell you Big Bang/GDragon is the better performer. Most stans have this weird chip on their shoulders on account of the groups they stan. ARMYs just happen to be the fandom that has the results and critical acclaim to actually back it up.

Taemin is a remarkable artist and he’s improved a huge lot since debut, especially in terms of performing. It’s also true that his friendship with Jimin is enduring and they’ve both shared that they inspire each other. In a perfect world, stans would consider these facts when they discuss the idols and hopefully, they’d do so with respect. In reality, people like what they like and hate what they hate regardless of anything else. Why do you expect people who like Jimin to view Taemin positively when those same people don’t even view Namjoon positively, Namjoon who is closer to Jimin, Namjoon who Jimin has repeatedly said has inspired him over the last 10 years, Namjoon who is in the literal same team with Jimin.

Regardless of what Jimin has said about Namjoon’s character, skill and artistry, many of his stans don’t care, so why should Jimin’s connection to Taemin have any bearing on whether they like him if they genuinely think Jimin is better anyway? This whole space would be better if people were marginally respectful when discussing idols they might not like, but that’s not what happens - whether Shawols discussing Jimin or ARMYs discussing Taemin, and so we get the dynamic you’ve observed.

Personally, while I can appreciate Taemin’s dancing skillset, Jimin for me is the more dynamic dancer. I also prefer Jimin’s vocals the best as I’ve said several times before. SHINee’s choreographies in general have limited appeal for my tastes for several reasons, but Taemin’s individual stuff is really good even though over the years I’ve been watching him, I’ve noticed a pattern in the sorts of routines he gravitates towards and as I’ve said before, my tastes for choreo are… less refined. For better or worse. It’s hard to explain but Taemin is viewed as the more explicit performer, often leaning into themes exploring sexuality and sensuality, but it’s actually Jimin whose performances feel more raw, and give me more of an edge, regardless of the theme.

Anyway, I’m team Jimin if that’s what you’re asking. If seeing k-pop stans and/or ARMYs peacocking on account of either Jimin or Taemin bothers you, then I suggest curating your timeline. It’s likely not ever going to change in wider k-pop fandom lol.

It's so profoundly frustrating and discouraging how itzy continues to be mistreated in every fucking facet you can imagine for the sin of literally being successful, talented women.

They're literally div 2's bottom line but the company acts like they're doing the girls a favour by even posting about their cbs on the accs that were literally made to promote itzy. We are just now getting some semblance of tiktok freedom 5 years into their career meanwhile idols that debuted after them have their own instagrams and their juniors in the same company have more freedom on all sorts of socials. We've confirmed that div 2 flubs so many of their opportunities for who knows what fucking reason after what happened with the CK Yeji event. And most importantly everything to do with Jisu — never fucking protecting her in any way, overwork, stifling her and the other girls' creativity, not utilising her voice well and every other fucking stupid thing they've done that's definitely made what she's going through so much worse. The girls are a cash grab to that fucking company (to the point we literally first learned about the cb and tour in the same post that was announcing Jisu's diagnosis) and they're not even allowed to express any frustration or sadness over that because "that's not professional" and they'd probably lose everything they've worked so hard for.

If they look sad you're not supposed to acknowledge to it or sympathise with it or treat them as human beings because it's "funny" to joke about how they want to get off work and anyway they're idols who gives af about idols anyway right? So called midzys are more concerned about making unfunny jokes than actually getting to know these girls. Every mf will say "ot5" then turn around and straight up hating certain members. Dehumanisation has become so fucking normalised in midzyville but then mfs will act surprised that the company gets away with this very obvious exploitation and mistreatment. If you view these human beings as a product that you can say whatever tf you want about on sites that you know they frequent because "it's just a joke lol" ofc the mfs presenting them as a product are going to benefit from it 😭

Then you have fuckass bitchass shitstain mnet and their hate boner for itzy. The largest number of most viewed videos on choom, the first choom performance to get more than 50 million views that's still consistently gaining more and more views, the first mix and max vid to get 50 million that's also still gaining views and gagged the kpop space so hard that Bebe Rexah released a korean specific version of break my heart myself and performed at fucking kcon because of Ryujin and Yeji, and their MAMA 2021 being the most iconic performance of that night (to the point that mnet decided to call back to it again last year mind you). You'd think wow hey these guys get us views let's be nice to them and keep them around.... but nah, deleted their iconic fucking performance that gave their boring award show relevance, deleted their debut stage, don't invite them to choom anymore, didn't even send ryeji their trophy or record something for Yeji when she got hers and then the bullshit that went on today lmao. Like it's so fucking obvious and you have to wonder WHY ffs

I have nothing against the group that won even though some of their stans are the most disgusting scum of the earth but like surely.... the numbers did not make sense. Even if you say itzy's digital points were too high okay fine that's just affirming that mnet isn't very honest with their numbers. They deleted itzy's untouchable stage for who knows what fucking reason then uploaded it later with reset views. How tf am I supposed to believe all this was above board when we've been beating that fandom in voting CONSISTENTLY even if they mobilised fandoms to help okay fine but did they enlist the whole of stantwt or something lmao how tf was the difference that great? Why were the sns scores so fucking weird when itzy untouchable shorts have consistently more views? Why is it "cope" or being a sore loser to call foul play when there's so much pointing to it being that AND mnet has a history of rigging??? Very happy for our 9 shiny boys! Unfortunately there was no 12 member lineup twist, I knew it wouldn’t happen but part of me thought just maybe it could lol.

Before I discuss the lineup I just wanna say it was so nice to see all the eliminated trainees. WOONGKI BOY!! Haruto!! Seunghwan (and the banner of his own face that he brought lol)!! ollie wonka with two functioning arms!! Wang Zihao!!WUMUTI TI TI TI!! The NINE.i boys!! Chen Kuan Rui, esp his reaction to Hao’s ranking!! And everyone else as well. Boys planet truly would not have been the same magical experience without all of them, even if they weren’t performing on the final stage.

Im so sad for Keita, Jay and Park Hanbin especially. I really hope they get scooped up by wealthy, well connected companies and continue on having successful careers in the kpop industry. I’d def be there to support them! pH-1 is already joking abt working with Keita on Instagram and even tho that’s obviously not a concrete promise of anything I’d love to see something happen between Keita and H1ghr Music lol.

I’m gonna go thru member by member now, in an attempt to organize my thoughts.

1. Zhang Hao

Holy shit !? Hao P1 !? Absolute slayage. I was so surprised. Tbh, this week I was stressing about how his rank might drop because of losing filler votes, but here he is ranked #1 :D congrats to him for making history as the first foreign center in produce/planet history!

2. Sung Hanbin <3

Mother is debuting!!! Not in P1, which was a twist, but still with a very high rank. This man has a really bright future ahead of him and I’m so happy that I get to support him along the way!

3. Seok Matthew

I was genuinely concerned as to whether or not he would debut, Matthew p03 had me gagged fr I was so happy for him. He’s such a ray of sunshine and has great chemistry with literally everyone he interacts with.

4. Ricky

The SCREAM that was SCRUMPT. Would not be surprised if my neighbors had called 911 honestly. So happy for him!! Honestly, it’s between him and Zhang Hao for my bias in the group. Ricky has grown on me immensely since I started watching the show, also I think he has the best fan edits in the whole fandom like not even just ZB1, of Boys Planet contestants in general. For some reason I feel like the group name really suits him? Like if u showed me a picture of Ricky and said “he’s in a group called ZB1” that would make sense.

5. Gunwook

yet ANOTHER pleasant surprise! I obviously knew he was in the conversation but I was expecting him to be up for like 8th or 9th, esp after he dropped in the 3rd ranking. He started the show with such a tough guy image, but he’s really such a softie and I love it.

6. Kim Taerae

Main vocal slay :) can’t wait to hear more of his high notes and see his big smile onstage. Also I feel like the new dark hair really brings an edge to his image that we haven’t seen before. He might be a reverse Gunwook, seeming very soft and cute at first but actually being tougher than anticipated lol. I was nervous for him after seeing he was 11th in the interim, but clearly the voters pulled thru.

7. Kim Gyuvin

I have not been the biggest Gyuvin fan in the past, but I gotta say he’s really growing on me. He’s like a big goofy puppy dog that can dance really well. His reactions to seeing the other trainees winning (especially Yujin) were so endearing! The other day I watched his en garde fancam on loop aksjfgh he does have a very interesting captivating energy and I appreciate that.

8. Kim Jiwoong

Our hyung <3 so happy for him, he’s been through so much with his previous debut but now he’s finally done it. It’s also nice to see someone who is so clearly openly supportive of the queer community in the final lineup. Not to say that the other trainees aren’t ofc, I think they r all allies (if not queer themselves), but like, jiwoong acting in BL and being friends with Holland, the literal only out k-pop idol, is a different kind of support that I’m happy to see. Most idols tiptoe a bit more, but jiwoong actually does things that r clearly in support of us yknow.

9. Han Yujin

Our maknae :) seeing him drop so much was really surprising, for a moment I thought he wouldn’t make it tbh. I’m fairly neutral on him, I think he’s an amazing dancer and has so much potential, but if I’m being honest he wasn’t necessarily one of my picks. I’m not mad that he’s here by any means tho. I know ZB1 hasn’t even debuted yet so it’s kinda silly to be theorizing about what he’ll do after, but hes young, talented and popular enough that I think once they reach the end of the 2.5 year contract he’s gonna redebut and reach success all over again.

So, that’s it! Boys Planet is over! The lineup is announced! Zhang Hao, Sung Hanbin, Seok Matthew, Ricky, Gunwook, Taerae, Gyuvin, Jiwoong and Taerae. Our Bep1er- now officially known as ZEROBASEONE :D it feels so surreal, but I’m so excited to stan these boys.

hello guys! i come with a plot call for the first time since... i joined wow! i have recently dropped almost all of my threads and kinda need to get back in the groove of it. unfortunately, we’re going to have to brainstorm together for non-event stuff, because my creativity has been drained by the trimester change is currently mia. for those who don’t know milan or don’t know her much, i’m using this post to make a small reintro, an update and a tracker all in the same place.

to make things easier, please leave a like if you are interested in plotting in general or comment debut preparation, novascope or nova iueventa if you are interested in a specific event ! i want to rp with as many nova girls and boys (yes that’s how i call yall) as possible lol !

good to know: milan (20) is a small town girl who moved to korea 4 years ago. she joined legacy in january 2021, and as of april 2023 is part of the debut lineup of nova. she’s extroverted, bright and strives to make people around her happy. she also doesn’t fear approaching new people... unless she biases them (current biases: type zero’s dowoon and nathan + nathan’s manager). she’s a big kpop stan but her ultimate groups are type zero and nova (biases everybody; mega girlcrush hayoung; puppy x koala of eunhye). on the other hand, she doesn’t like revealing too much of herself to others, especially her worries and negative traits. she doesn’t let people near and is likely too attached to the only person she truly can be herself with. 

lately: future dreams hasn’t been an easy challenge for any of the contestant, and milan is no exception. since the debut bootcamp, milan has been painfully aware of how much she’s lacking, and future dreams has made her develop a full blown imposter syndrome (that she has kept to herself for now). making it in nova hasn’t ease any of that, quite the opposite

nowadays: after the finale, milan has only taken the time to meet with her best friend ( @lgcxnoeul​ ) before leaving for her hometown for almost the rest of the week. outside of noeul, the only person she has directly talked about the results of the finale is @lgcakio​​. during her time away, she’s been quite introspective and, being a practicing catholic, turned to the bible to find encouragement and teachings that could help her go through her currently worries. for now, she’s still seeking, and spends most of her alone free time reading her bible. 

private matters: milan isn’t just seeking guidance for her worries concerning her career, but for heart matters too. she still has experience when it comes to flirting and relationships, but she does have feelings for someone who, unfortunately, she knows doesn’t and wouldn’t reciprocate her feelings. however, this knowledge is not enough to make her heart change what it desires, much to her dismay and, at times, sadness.

yeah wow that tripleS unit debut video is really high budget, huh. my first thought was "where did jaden jeong get this budget from?" but then i was like "oh yeah, nfts". which also means this group is gonna have 0 budget in less than a year because nfts are already practically almost dead lol.

why is there like a 90s concept trend though lately? newjeans and this... none of the members were alive during the 90s, were they? hell, i was born in 96, i was barely alive in the 90s haha. when the 90s ended i was 4 years old

it's not bad, i prefer this to the disco trend that happened over the last couple years (even if it gave us songs like Mago lol). can't wait for kpop to run this 90s concept into the ground in 6 months tho. and like... i dont think this tripleS thing was in this genre because of newjeans, because kpop debuts take a long time and they certainly started working on this long before Hype Boy was released, but like... at the same time... i cant help but feel like it's just kinda like Hype Boy lol. it’s not bad though

position: ALL AROUNDER easily!!!! you're good at literally everything but i think your passion would be dancing, choreography, and perhaps even writing lyrics. you'd be directly involved in a lot of the creative design bc you have such a good eye for it. you'd also be one of the older members, but like fake maknae kind of. until you get serious and then people r like wow....

group name: ok bare with me for the explanation but your group name would be astroglia !! all lowercase and if possible in bold letters. astroglia are a collective bunch of star shaped (!) cells in the nervous system (brain and spinal cord specifically) and astroglia help form the physical structure of the brain but also do a LOT of functions for the entire body -- kind of like, saying your whole group is the foundation for the new era of kpop bc every member can do SO MUCH. all rounders indeed!! but ALSO. science is always growing & scientists r always learning, so theres the aspect where you guys never give up on yourselves. you're always learning. there are 5 members bc of the 'star' shape and obviously i chose this partly cuz you’re so smart my god

concept: lets go science concept!!!!!! each comeback is a new type of science, personally my favorite would be the chemistry one where all you do is cause explosions. your fans favorite concept though is the AI creation concept, where you fight against clones of yourselves (see: onf) ALSOOO for a halloween concept ver. you do a modern version of Frankenstein its great! theres just soooo much you can do with the generic 'science' being the overhead concept. a dark/horror concept could be a forensic science concept where u have to solve a grisly murder using your FS skills.... fascinating

debut song: i wasnt sure what 'sounds' go with a science concept so like im a bit lost but its probably very electronic sounding, and idk why but 24k's only you comes to mind for this, especially the chorus and that 'bloop' part lol idk but just know it matches your concept!

fun fact: each of your albums are named after a different scientific discipline! and while your group, astroglia, are in the nervous system (aka the BRAIN), your fans are called atria (a main part of the HEART) bc your fans are your heart!!!!! brb crying. also one of your members decides to go back to uni to study some sort of science bc they were so inspired lol and youre their #1 fan and supporter its so nice. you quiz them on stuff. you do the same thing for your fans, they always tell you about upcoming major exams and u ask them a bunch of questions on vlive to help them study.... truly the best idol

Let me say something regarding enhypen's issues that's been circulating since the day of their debut.

I'm so dissapointed to them, like yes, really. Story Time, I was actually a kpop stan since 2017, I used to stan BTS before and got really hyped to them, I loved them, they're the ones who introduced me to kpop industry, along with psy, 2ne1, bigbang, and Wonder girls. I stop being a kpop fan around 2019 because I get so busy in school ( maintaining my good grades yes) so I lost interest in kpop. When quarantine happens, a lot of problems in my life just pop out of nowhere, my family being toxic and problematic, depression, school, toxic peers, etc. I don't know what to do that time cause there's been lots of things happen in my life before, that I attempt to kms. I don't have someone to talk to since my friends is just a bunch of toxic people, they would make fun of me or called me being "dramatic" for feeling and experiencing this thing, yes, they're so toxic. Then my emotions bottles up, and one day explodes, and lends me to kms, "attempt". I pity myself that time, I know for sure that I didn't deserved that. Then I found Enhypen, I know them since I-land, I may not grew up with them since day one, but I've watched their hardwork just to achieve their dreams, and that makes me want to stan them. I relate so much to them, the hardwork, and struggles that they've been through just to debut amazes me. They make me realize that you shouldn't give up in life and don't give up in your dreams( one of my dreams is to get out of this house lol ). I really loved them with all of my heart. They make me happy, laugh, or even cry because they didn't win enough awards lol ( they do deserved lots of awards) , I thought I'm never gonna be happy again, not until that I met them, I'm so grateful that they exist, and that I met them. I never regret that I met them. But now I feel dissapointed, I, myself used to body shamed by my parents, peers, non peers, classmates, relatives😂. There's lots of them, wow. I may be shrug it off, laugh to their fatshaming jokes, or just be quiet, but deep inside, I badly wanted to cry haha. I do have too lots of notes in my note app, saying lots of rants why I hate my body before😂, because they made me feel this way, that something's wrong with me, which there isn't. I cried every midnight, when everyone's asleep, sobbing cause I feel like there's something wrong with me. I cried until I fall asleep, every night routine?😭. Seeing enhypen members body shamed sun00? Idk what to say. Enhypen should stop making fatshaming jokes, cause it isn't funny, this jokes only not affect sunoo, but also to their fans that been experiencing body shamed in their life, like me. Friends or not, family or not, don't make jokes like that, you're really being insensitive if that's your humor. No matter how close you are to that person, you aren't allowed to body shamed them. Even families, friends, peers, colleagues, etc.

I loved them all, and I want them to know that they're wrong this time, teasing sunoo is really fun, cause his reaction is so cute when he's mad, but members should know their limit and when to stop. As much as I love sunoo, I hope he talk about this thing to his members, this thing shouldn't be tolerated. He must take an action too.

Other fandom meddles too, with our fandom problem, Idk if they're really being concern to sunoo, or they just want to bring enhypen down. I've seen lots of faceshaming to ni-ki and they're using that to defend and protect sunoo, they're not even an engene to start with, and sunoo "solo" stans are going way overboard, sending hates, wishing d-word to jayhoonki, and faceshaming ni-ki. What makes they think that it's not different as body shaming? They're being bullies, or maybe more than that. I hate twt stans, they just want clout, oml. Defend sunoo in a right way, not this!. Stop being hypocrite. Stan twt say blah blah blah about members being bodyshamer to sunoo, but proceeds wishing d-word to jayhoonki and faceshaming ni-ki. Hypocrite indeed.

i had written a whole text post and then tumblr deleted it, rip. i really need the beta editor to behave, lol! essentially, you’d be announced as the fifth member waaay later on, after the group’s well established. blinks would try (and fail) to guess your identity. you might have had a few solo projects prior to joining, but most of them would be lowkey. i think the fandom would be veeeery divided at first and direct some of their bitterness towards you, but both rosé and jisoo would be quick to shut them up, lol. i also see lisa on a vlive speaking fondly of you? like how much she admires your work ethic and all. honestly, i don’t see many scandals, but i think there would be a few blinks perpetually mad and jealous that you joined and made your dreams come true. your first concept with blackpink would go viral, the mv’s aesthetics would resemble something like boombayah in their older days and many people would feel like blackpink’s ironically honoring their roots, per se. the first mv with you could go viral as a trend on tiktok due to some iconic dance move, maybe the one like ryujin’s shoulder dance and people could even be a little shocked at first like, “wow, i didn’t know she was this good!” after a few months, you’d fit in like a glove. blinks would even trend on your first anniversary since your debut on blackpink to thank you for making the group even better. i’m not getting much about your dynamics, but i think the girls would do literally everything to avoid scandals or any ‘beef’ rumors between you and them. they’d definitely want to get to know you better and try to include you in everything because they might know firsthand what it is like to feel alone and lost. here are some concepts you’d fit very well into:

IU - Real

This album felt split between old IU and new IU. But more importantly, it made me realize something: I prefer simple ballads to complex ballads. Like, miss me with all that slow jam shit. If I want a sad song, give me a guitar and a voice and maybe a piano. Good Day was great though. I’m not sure I’d call it song of the year, personally - a LOT of good kpop happened in 2011. But it definitely felt like a shift away from her debut sound and it was reminiscent of her current sound in some ways. I appreciate the instrumentation, the music video was nice. Merry Christmas ahead was also pretty good, Chundung totally made that song, it would be like a 7 without him. Speaking of ratings, this album got an average of 6.8, marginally higher than her debut. I’d say that’s pretty accurate, the meh songs were meh but the good one were quite good.

Just came to dump my reactions so far to your amazingly curated SVT playlist bc where else would I go for the music thoughts inside my brain???

Thoughts on Love&Letter Repackage:

Wow wow WoW was NOT expecting to love their first full album (repackage ik, but basically lol) as much as I did. Before listening to this I had only heard Adore U and Aju Nice, which were nice (no pun intended), but not necessarily songs that stuck with me for whatever reason, so I didn't think that their older stuff was gonna be my cup of tea and had ignored it basically (carats don't come for me lol). But going through this repackage I literally saved half the songs!

SIMPLE. like ik the original title is in caps but I am putting caps on top of caps bc...like...🥹🥹🥹 idk I first played through the album on a long solo drive (car audio hits diff imo) and when I heard this one while driving it just like...made me feel something??? lol. This was prob the first song on the album that I came to and was like 'w o a h’ 

Also Adore U vocal team version literally made me fall in love with that song. Like I like the original now but I especially like the vocal version ughhhhhh. Can't get the hook out of my head now so help meeeeee.

And yeah wow the song Space - that song really gives off those trainee/early debut days, which I can’t even imagine what that’s like (HARD AF), but hearing the song and then now reading the lyrics it deeply resonated with me - I had similar feelings during my early college days, and college is also when I first got into kpop, so it just makes me wish I’d known about this song back then 😭

In total my faves were: VERY NICE (yes I changed my mind after second listen lol), Healing, SIMPLE, Hit Song, Say Yes (I'm a sucker for a good emotional ballad), Adore U (vocal team ver + original), and Love Letter.

Overall such a light, breezy, feel good album - totally perfect for summer actually so I'm really enjoying it rn lol

idk how clear i can be bc my feelings towards exo and their members have changed so much tbh. so i’ve basically been a fan since 2014-2015, and looking back i think their group dynamic was misconstrued. mind you, they were the no. 1 group back then and ouhh, they were hated. being an sm group, along with the exo-m controversies, i think all the shit they had to deal with made them grow closer. they were already friends, but ofc there were certain cliques within the group. but i think they’re much closer now. I think people have this perception of them being co-workers is bc they have other friend groups, can socialize, and are able to produce successful solo work, and kpop fans who love the brotherhood/sisterhood of kpop feel threatened by that. but genuinely i think they all love each other and as much as i am a bitch for saying that exo would be fine if suho and chen left, i feel like they all have a part and fit in the group really well (even tao, lay and luhan). i really love them.

as for the members. let me tell you, i love them now but i hated most of them at one point 😭 i started off as a kai girl and would go to bat for him. most of them would pick on him and say really colourist shit to him, which was sooo shocking to me bc he didn’t look any different from others. baekhyun and chen were no. 1 on my shitlist. i always enjoyed kyungsoo and tao tho. the others, i eventually warmed up to them. suho—i kinda shit on him for not being up to par vocally or dance-wise, but he’s an amazing leader, and really the glue to exo. he was supposed to debut with shinee which is crazy to think. he was meant for exo. xiumin—a king. love him nothing bad to say about him. chen—don’t love him. or his vocals. i try to ignore him lol. i do feel bad for him for getting shitted on for being married and a father tho. baekhyun—best vocalist. kinda arrogant but he’s allowed to be. amazing solo work. it took me awhile to warm up to him but he’s great. his stans are the worst tho. chanyeol—my man!!!!!! love him! he’s super charismatic. can sing, act. i like his raps idc idc. kyungsoo—the best idol turned actor. love him. he minds his business. kai—i can write a whole thinkpiece on kai but truly an it-boy. a real performer. had the best solo debut of exo. a FUNCLE!!!!! sehun—love him too!! really watched him grow up. tho i do think he gets harassed about his sexuality too much. lay—great performer!!! a little arrogant too tho kdkdkfk. tao—i loved him. he was my fave after kai. luhan—i didn’t get to know much about him. terrible solo stuff tho. kris—hope he dies.
