Meet my current household, the Westfalls !!!
Andrew Westfall is a single father raising three daughters, Blake, Aimee, and Melody. He loves them more than anything else in the world. He’d give up anything for them, and in fact, he has. Andrews always dreamed of being a writer. He loves to write almost as much as he loves his family. Unfortunately Andrew struggles to make ends meet and works a full time retail customer service job to pay the bills, leaving writing as a mere side hobby. Andrew has always been a bit reserved, nerdy, and awkward even. Luckily for him he still has his best friend and neighbor, Salim Benali who seems to be one of the only people who truly understand him. Other than Catarina Lynx that is. Catarina and Andrew have been friends for a while now and there seems to be a spark of something more. Andrew has been crushing on her and has even dedicated some of his self-published books to her. He can’t quite seem to read her well enough to know if the feelings are mutual. Although the two did share a drunken kiss at the Stargazer Lounge.
Blake Westfall is the eldest child of Andrew Westfall. Blake is spending her teenage years trying to find herself. She is in both the Paragons and the Renegades, she’s unsure where she fits in but desperately wants to be part of something. Despite her fixation on trying to please her peers, she doesn’t come across as anything less than confident. Blake is currently seeing Wolfgang Munch. Wolfgang is not the type of boy you’d want to bring home to your father and Andrew has made it clear to the young couple that he’d better not pull anything funny with Blake. Her fathers hesitations aside, Blake is having the time of her life with her first relationship. She truly believes that Wolfgang is the one, but don’t we all believe that as teenagers.
Aimee Westfall is the spitting image of her father. She takes after him in both appearance and personality. She loves her father more than anything and looks up to him in all aspects of life. Aimee seems to have a mature understanding of everything her father sacrifices for them, and just wants to make him proud. She wants to grow up to be a musician, but deeply values reading and education much like her father. Aimee is much more shy than her twin sister Melody, but she gets along with both her sisters beautifully. She’s a straight A student who practices her violin in her free time when she’s not out and about with Melody and their friends.
Melody Westfall is the epitome of a social butterfly. She loves talking to everybody regardless of age or gender. She has plenty of friends at school, however her best friend lives right under the same roof as her. Melody and Aimee are very different but bring out the best in one another. Melody forces Aimee out of her comfort zone and Aimee guides Melody to do well in her studies. Melody also looks up to their older sister Blake as a role model and someday wants to be in the Paragons just like her older sister.

Munch Family
Switching gears now, I played my personal Sims 4 game (you can check the navigation for the EA families I’ve posted so far about here) and played the Munch family for a while. First of all, it seemed that they had more money than they should considering their situation, so I moved them into a new house and got rid of a lot of money to make it more realistic.

do you keep psds for any of your clothes that you'd pass out for recolors?
The answer to that is no, I thought that I did but I cant seem to find anything. But I’m assuming that you’d want to recolor this? So I put together a psd with a few colors that don’t have stripes or anything, I hope it helps! ~download~

how did you manage your face blend cos wow i love it (also we almost have exactly the same name)
it’s hardly a blend unfortunately like i was really lazy and just took the textures from all my fav skin details, layered them together at different opacities until i got something i liked, and then i made it into my own skin detail so that i had room for more lmao. habsims has a really nice tutorial here if u wanna try it the right way!

I love this! I love you for this! The whole conversation with her daughter and concept is amazing and just hit me in the feels. I grew up in a majority white community and didn't fully embrace my natural curly hair until 4 years ago when I got into college. I remember my mom having the same conversation with my mom when I was younger

Thank you so much to everyone who has commented and sent such sweet notes about this arc! I'm really glad that so many of you were able to identify with the story <3 I generally keep my legacy pretty light-hearted but I felt like this was an important part of Zinnia's story and I'm glad I was able to include it! And that she got a happy ending too :)

Lots of screenies that you don't see that are terrible! haha. In all seriousness though I probably take 5-10 screenshots for every one image that makes it onto my blog! Then I just take the best of what I captured while playing and clean them up a little bit!
