HELLO IM WOLFGANG!!!
Im Wolfgang/Shotgun, im a dog /srs. My form shifts between many dog breeds, I’m also a werewolf. I’m not human, physically, mentally, or anything else. Don’t bother to reality check me, it doesn’t work and just makes me even more convinced. I’m not hurting anybody being like this, so there’s no reason for me to get “help” for it.
I don’t post here often. I just reblog stuff thats i think is cool. My drawings are under the tag “hunter draws sometimes” and my usual posts are under “hunter barks”.
INTERESTS: the owl house, guns, knives, weapons basically! Sha Gz, KMFDM, Death Grips, Dogs!

New York City has been the backdrop for many TV series over the years, from “Law & Order” to “Sex and the City” to “Succession.” But the Showtime series “Billions,” which ends on Sunday after seven seasons, may have been the New Yorkiest of them all. It’s clear from the opening credits, which feature an eagle-eye’s view of Lower Manhattan — but no actors — that New York City is not merely a location but the star. The showrunners, Brian Koppelman and David Levien, planned it that way. “The city plays a central role on the show,” said Mr. Levien. “We always felt like being here and knowing the city was like our secret weapon.” Mr. Koppelman and Mr. Levien were both born on Long Island but eventually moved to New York City. (“Nothing makes you more desperate to be in Manhattan than growing up on Long Island,” Mr. Koppelman said.) The two first worked together on the screenplay for the 1997 film “Rounders,” set in the underground poker scene in New York, and they went on to collaborate on “Knockaround Guys,” “Runaway Jury,” “Solitary Man” and “Ocean’s Thirteen.” But “Billions” was their love letter to New York City. New York has been integral to the plot, which follows the endless battle between hedge fund billionaires (Bobby “Axe” Axelrod, played by Damian Lewis, and in later seasons, Mike Prince, played by Corey Stoll) and the U.S. attorney, Chuck Rhoades Jr. (played by Paul Giamatti).
The characters have visited hundreds of locations in the city, from the Thurgood Marshall United States Court House on Centre Street in Lower Manhattan to Morningside Castle in Morningside Heights and the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Scenes have been filmed at MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and Yonkers Raceway. “There was almost nowhere that we couldn’t shoot, that we wanted to,” Mr. Levien said. The neighborhoods where the “Billions” characters live also serve as shorthand for their personalities. Chuck’s father, Chuck Rhoades Sr., is an old school, blue-blood businessman, so naturally he lives on the wealthiest stretch of Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, not far from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Chuck Jr., whose positions as the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York (and New York attorney general) involve prosecuting financial crimes, lives in a Brooklyn brownstone (the exterior shots are of 49 Eighth Avenue, in Park Slope). “Chuck Sr. would not experiment with another neighborhood just because he could, financially,” said Mr. Koppelman. “He’s not going to go try a loft in TriBeCa.” And it makes sense that Chuck Jr. lives on an understated (but gorgeous) block outside Manhattan: “Chuck would have been a little bit rebellious to his dad’s ways,” Mr. Koppelman said. Brooklyn? “Senior thinks it’s like the frontier, basically.” Axe, the character played by Damian Lewis, is the CEO of Axe Capital, a multibillion-dollar hedge fund. His Manhattan home is an airy, light-filled penthouse, high above the city. “It’s this incredible glass box built on top of this building downtown in TriBeCa,” said Mr. Levien. “Because, you know, he is somebody that would go try some neighborhood, live where he wants, open himself up to new experiences.” The location was an actual apartment where the show filmed for a couple of years — and it impressed even the showrunners. “If you’re a New Yorker, it’s fascinating to walk through what a $60 million apartment is,” Mr. Koppelman said.
As die-hard denizens of New York City, the characters on “Billions” eat at all the best and most famous restaurants. There are scenes set inside upscale white-tablecloth rooms at expensive eateries like Keens Steakhouse, Babbo, Craft, Ai Fiori, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, Michael’s, The Pool and Marea. But the characters also visit more humble spots: Wo Hop, Gray’s Papaya, Joe’s Pizza, Old Town Bar, Costello’s Claddagh Inn. There are new favorites (Una Pizza Napoletana) as well as New York classics, like Peter Luger’s, Cibao, Second Avenue Deli and Barney Greengrass. Mr. Koppelman said that for New Yorkers, food information is a valuable currency. “Finding the best bao is as important as finding the best four-star flambé or something,” he laughed. “The show was absolutely trying to show you the real thing over and over again each time. Where’s the best hot dog, where’s the best burger?” New York City chefs — including Daniel Boulud, David Chang, Kwame Onwuachi, Tom Colicchio, Alex Guarnaschelli — have made cameo appearances in “Billions,” weaving the show intricately into the food scene. (The show featured so many restaurants that someone wrote a book detailing the locations.) “Because we’re New Yorkers and we care about New York, we care about these restaurants, we care about these people, we want to find a way to showcase what they love about their place and what they do,” said Mr. Koppelman. (And at some restaurants, it’s not just the food that the characters are into: In the first episode of Season 4, Chuck Jr. and the police commissioner visit Sparks Steakhouse and re-enact the 1985 murder of Paul Castellano, the reputed boss of the Gambino crime family — a hit that an F.B.I. investigator said was arranged by John Gotti.) In addition to celebrated places, the show features the occasional lesser-known gem — like Chartwell, “the world’s Only Winston Churchill bookstore.” When he needs some quick cash, Chuck Jr. sells his collection of Winston Churchill books. Being featured on a television show can be a boost for business and for a shop owner’s self-esteem. “Most places that we got feedback from that were featured in the show were extremely happy to be associated and to be recognized sort of like nationally and internationally,” said Mr. Levien.
Watching movies set in New York when they were younger inspired both of the showrunners. The Coney Island scenes in “Warriors” and the dinner scene in “The Godfather,” they said, were especially memorable. “The walking in the back door at the Copa in ‘Goodfellas’ is an all-time classic,” Mr. Levien said. Mr. Koppelman was in awe of the Sal’s Pizza scenes in “Do the Right Thing.” “I’ll never forget the extra cheese argument in that movie. It reveals so much about character,” he said. “It’s a very important thing in my cinematic journey as a young person wanting to do this — we thought over and over and over and over and over again about Sal’s Pizza.” There was only one downside of filming in New York, Mr. Levien said: “Sirens and car horns. Ruining takes. When these actors are locked in concentrating on some serious emotional monologue or moment — and you know, it’s like, ‘Hold for the police helicopter. Hold for the fire truck.’” For their next show, Mr. Levien and Mr. Koppelman may head to Florida. “We’re certainly really animated by the idea of making a show set in Miami,” Mr. Koppelman said. Still, Mr. Levien said filming in New York was “such a privilege.” Mr. Koppelman put it this way: “I do think, as is often the case for a Long Island-born New Yorker, who has been a New Yorker for 35 years, Billy Joel put it best: I’ve loved these days.”

I decided to do that this time on my birthday and I remember a lot of that one conversation we had through video chat. I’m so sorry you had to experience me like that. I’m sorry this was probably pretty hard but I remember now. I know you have anger issues but over time you can learn how to manage it better. I struggle with that a bit too I mean I don’t always have the healthiest ways of dealing with it. Like burning myself or taking drugs haha XD I mean technically thats not funny but I yeah XD I think we’d be fucking hilarious together XD we could like play fight with each other too to kind of disperse our feisty energy in a healthy way. Like obviously you know there shouldn’t be initiation of play fighting if someone is legit mad but yeah. I’m at a point where I don’t hurt people if I’m super pissed off I just like don’t say anything and make some hard ass eye contact XD god that was hilarious you were like I have anger issues and I collect knives and this isn’t concerning to you? XD *laughs in adrenaline junky* honey I am the last person you’d wanna try and stab XD not the first time I’ve taught somebody that the hard way XD but yeah like I remember you saying you love me and then you were upset that I hesitated to say it back. I wasn’t hesitating I was just like hoping you would say that because I feel that way too and I was like ah that wont happen but then you did and I was like wholly fuck and just let that echo in my broke ass crack head brain for moment just absorbing that I somehow managed to please the gods. And thats sweet that you let me type to you and you’ll actually read it. It’s okay if you aren’t ready to talk to me still. I’m gonna keep shoving you some leather lessons too. But like hi I remember you and I love you and you have my soul sr X3 I also havent been drinking for a while I mean I did last weekend but haven’t since then. I haven’t taken Kratom in a month. But I’ll let you know if I slip I mean I’m feeling pretty confident in myself. My body is like already getting healthier so thats good haha.

Exploring the Legacy of Thomas Jefferson - America's 3rd President
Tumblr media
Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States, is one of the most significant figures in American history. His legacy has impacted the nation and its citizens through his expansive political and personal contributions. This article will explore Jefferson's accomplishments during his presidency and his intellectual pursuits, which have helped shape present day America. In addition to being a Founding Father of the United States, Jefferson was a tireless advocate for individual rights and freedoms.

Third U.S. President.
The third president of the United States was Thomas Jefferson, who served from 1801 to 1809. He is most famous for writing the Declaration of Independence and leading the country into a new era of democracy. Jefferson was born in Virginia and began his career as a lawyer. He quickly rose to political stardom in Washington, D.C., to become governor of Virginia, then Secretary of State under George Washington, before becoming President of the United States. During his tenure, he doubled the size of the United States with the Louisiana Purchase in 1803, and led a period known as "The Era of Good Feelings." He established many precedents that still stand today, including creating an executive cabinet of department heads who managed government affairs and also appointed Supreme Court justices who were independent from Congress. After leaving office, he remained active in public life until he died in 1826.

Thomas Jefferson's Upbringing.
Thomas Jefferson was born in 1743. He was born in the British Colony of Virginia as the third of ten children. Thomas Jefferson descended from English and possibly Welsh bloodlines, which meant he was born a British subject. His father, Peter Jefferson, was a planter and surveyor.  In 1745, Peter  moved the family to the Tuckahoe Plantation after the death of Peter's friend, William Randolph III's. Peter became the guardian of Randolph's children according to his will.  Jefferson was educated together with the Randolph children by tutors at Tuckahoe. The Jeffersons eventually returned to Shadwell in 1752 where Peter passed away, when Thomas was just fourteen years old. Thomas's guardianship fell to John Harvie Sr. Thomas who went on to become an important figure in American politics.

Presidency: Achievements and Controversies.
The third president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, served two terms as President from 1801 to 1809. During his time in office, he made many significant contributions to the country and left a lasting legacy.   Presidential Achievements Thomas Jefferson was the 3rd president of the United States and during his presidency from 1801 to 1809, he made immense contributions to American life. Jefferson is renowned for his acquisitions of the Louisiana Territory as well as his nationwide implementation of the all-encompassing First Amendment. He established diplomatic ties with foreign countries, he founded federalized public education and launched improvements in transportation infrastructure throughout the Atlantic seaboard. Thomas Jefferson also worked fiercely to secure national economic stability and wrote many pioneering laws, including notable advancements such as The Embargo Act of 1807. This Act strictly prohibited all exports of American products and served as a powerful tool of economic warfare against any nations at odds with American interests. Thomas Jefferson's influence played an integral role in not just establishing but also developing and forwarding the cause of America in every sense - politically, socially, and economically.   Presidential controversies Thomas Jefferson has remained a controversial figure since his days as President of the United States. From the birth of his children with Sally Hemings to his relationship with the Native Americans, Thomas Jefferson's presidency was far from uncomplicated. One of Thomas Jefferson’s most famous controversies involves the Louisiana Purchase which doubled the size of the nation and shifted America’s stance toward an empire-seeking power. Thomas Jefferson faced Congress over this purchase due to it's constitutional legality. This was ultimately approved it as well as commissioned. Other controversies include Thomas Jefferson’s financial issues and seemingly complicated moral beliefs, which have served to keep Thomas Jefferson a primary topic in American history debates even today.

Ideology: Political Philosophy.
Political Philosophy is a highly complex subject, and Thomas Jefferson was a significant contributor to the field. He was an American Founding Father who wrote the Declaration of Independence, and his political philosophy had a continuing impact on the development of the United States. Thomas Jefferson advocated for limited government, with power concentrated in state governments rather than at a federal level. He also believed that all people should be equal under the law and be free to pursue their interests while being responsible to society as citizens. His writings helped lay down some of the essential principles on which America's democracy is based, such as upholding fundamental human rights regardless of gender or race.

Impact on History: Long Term Effects.
Thomas Jefferson had an immense impact on the course of history. As a Founding Father, author of the Declaration of Independence, and third President of the United States, Jefferson left a legacy that continues to influence today's society. His long-term effects are seen in several areas ranging from politics to religion. Through his political career, Jefferson helped shape the structure and power dynamics of the American government as we know it today. He championed a system of checks and balances between branches of government. Meeting the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, he secured Louisiana, doubled the size of America, established trade embargoes against Britain and France, and founded The University of Virginia to encourage scholarship and learning, among other achievements.

Literary Legacy: Published Works.
The name Thomas Jefferson is well-known in American history but he was also an accomplished author who wrote extensively throughout his life. His literary legacy includes several published works that have been studied for generations since their original release.  Jefferson's most famous work is likely the Declaration of Independence, which he wrote in 1776 as part of his involvement in the Continental Congress. This is far from his only literary accomplishment; he also wrote books about science, politics, law, and philosophy throughout his lifetime. Most notably, he penned "Notes on the State of Virginia" in 1784 – a detailed account of natural resources and geography that has been used as a source by historians ever since its publication.

Personal Legacy: Family and Descendants.
Thomas Jefferson’s legacy still continues today, as his descendants continue to shape American politics. Thomas had six children with his wife Martha and they lived on at Monticello, his plantation in Virginia. His eldest daughter Martha ‘Patsy’ Randolph managed the plantation while Thomas was away in Washington. His grandson Thomas Mann Randolph became a Congressman of Virginia in 1795. Jefferson’s great-granddaughters pursued political causes such as women’s suffrage and the abolition of slavery. Cornelia Jefferson Randolph is considered one of the first female abolitionists and, alongside her husband, established Abolitionist societies which worked towards ending enslavement. Today, Thomas Jefferson’s legacy can be seen through the many living descendants.

Conclusion: Jefferson's Lasting Influence.
Throughout his lifetime, Thomas Jefferson accomplished a great many feats. His influence on the United States is still felt two centuries after his death. As one of America's Founding Fathers and the author of the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson helped to shape the country during its infancy and beyond. He was an advocate of democracy and is credited with establishing many governmental institutions that are in place today.  Jefferson wrote extensively on topics such as religion, education, science, and philosophy - making him one of the most influential figures in American history. He was a proponent of civil rights and liberties, advocating for citizens' religious freedom and personal autonomy. Jefferson also held progressive views regarding public education, which helped set standards for educating people throughout America during this time.  His legacy is celebrated through monuments such as Monticello or his memorial in Washington, D.C.   Sources: THX News & Wikipedia.
