today i got meowed at in the halls. i have a raccoon tail on my backpack for fundies and on my last hallway before my 6th period i heard some girls doing the little click/pspsps you do at cats and they said “here kitty” and meowed at me. i didn’t fully process that they were meowing at me, but when i finally realized it right as i walked into class my tail was totally wagging. i know they were trying to tease/bully me, but honestly i liked it. i’m not a cat (i don’t think so at least) but it felt nice getting that reaction from people. euphoric even. accidental affirmation LOL! they had a nice meow.

There's something so interesting about being a dog who is a professional dog trainer

It's like when you bring an example dog to a training class because having a dog confident in the activity will help the others be more confident

My dog therianthropy is really weird. Like, normally when I'm calm and stuff I'm just a big gentle dog. Just a house pet who loves pretty much unconditionally. I'll feel my ears and they'll be floppy, ya know, the natural ears for a great Dane. But when I'm angry or nervous I'll feel a lot more aggressive and like I wouldn't regret hurting someone. Like it's my job. I'll feel my ears and they'll be docked. And sometimes I'll get herding urges?? I don't think I have a herding dog theriotype I'm just a great Dane that's sometimes a herding dog?? Pretty sure this is from me being around my grandparents a lot when I was younger and they have chickens so I just grew up chasing them and "Herding" them. (Anytime I go there since they still have chickens I'll herd them <33 I recommend herding chickens to everyone who can it's so fun omfg) It's like a spectrum.

Does anyone else experience something like this?

Is it just me, or am I the only one who gets somewhat uncomfortable with being called "puppy" or—God forbid—"doggo"?

Like, I'm so happy for other wolf/dog/etc. alterhumans who want to be called that and take it in stride, don't get me wrong, but..

I'm a werewolf and a dog, yes, and I like to act a little silly and domesticated at times, yes, but it feels as if other animals, objects, and some well-intentioned, human friends are putting me through demasculinization (I'm very fem sometimes and very masc other times, but as a person who presents himself as a trans guy in real life despite not being one all the time, masculinity feels like a very important part of my identity, even when I proudly dress and express myself in a way people see as fem,, it's hard to explain) when they call me cutesy terms like that, almost. It makes me feel very icky.

It's like it's making me into this pup who isn't a wild, cryptid creature most times. I think I may be overreacting, but its always been a slightly sensitive spot in my being. I'll cut myself short as to not make this a bigger thing than it is, but it really does feel as if it underwhelms me as a were and a 'nine.

I've already faced enough childification and undermining when I was a cisgendered hound and I do not need it furthered into my nonhumanity.

Wish there was a way to live as a dog in a way that isn't some kink thing.
