had a good drawing day today :)

#spoilers for upcoming christmas drawing but i think this is really funny #miraculous ladybug #my art #tizzy talks #been feeling really depressed recently but i went on a walk today and read a really good mlb fic (call it even) so im feelin better :)#i hadn't drawn at all in like ten days (which is a very long time for me) and hadn't done digital art in like a month so i was very rusty #but somehow i have ended up with a wip that i really like! :D i hope tomorrow is another good day

i swear I didn't share the whole fic yet, it's over 7k at this point, there has to be more lmao (it's 7k of pure silly fluff, like, fr, what am even I writing in there lol)

writing is going slowly lately, I'm just so tired all the time - but have some more sick eddie being ridiculous and accidentally telling/showing chris he and buck are dating, which I definitely didn't plan at all, but you know how it is, eddie just does what he wants hahaha

“Hi, dad!” Chris grins. “How are you feeling?”

“I’m fantastic.” he croaks out. “Would be better if I wasn’t just abandoned.” he glares at Buck. He’s so dramatic, and Buck loves him so much. His heart is just tapping against his ribcage, wanting to get closer to its other half. “You said you’d be back soon.”

“I am back.” Buck tries to hold back laughter. Christopher doesn’t bother, his giggles filling up the air, and Eddie’s scowl melts a little. “I didn’t wanna wake you.”

“Well, I’d rather wake up with you than all alone.” Eddie says, walking around the table to where Buck’s sitting, and promptly plopping down on his lap. Buck grunts in surprise, his arms coming up around Eddie. “Much better.” he sighs, leaning his head against Buck’s. So apparently he's very clingy when sick, too. That’s new. Buck can’t wait to learn everything else he still doesn’t know about him.

“Uh, hi?” Buck nervously glances at Christopher, who looks mildly surprised, but is still smiling. “Eddie?”

hope you had fun with my last post from criminals au cause we're back with you left me or secret wip angst (evil laugh)

Upon entering the room, Eddie can no longer hold back tears, seeing Buck so white and motionless on the bed, sharply recalling the events from Buck's last cardiac arrest. “But now he is not in a coma,” Eddie reminds himself that, “there is no ECMO around him that breathes for him. He's just sleeping after anesthesia and from everything his body has been through. He's just sleeping. He's alive, he's breathing, he's here.” “We get through it, ok? Just come back to me,” Eddie whispers these words into Buck's hand, which he took to feel his pulse himself. He knows that he should have taken a chair and sat down, but the pain of his knees hitting the floor is grounding, making Eddie feel like he begs someone more powerful to have mercy on them. On Buck. It almost feels like a good enough price to pay to be able to hold Buck's hand now. It almost feels like he has a chance to hope that everything gets better eventually. That's all Eddie has right now. This hope and fear that Buck kicks him out as soon as Eddie tells him everything that happened to him.

Have a small little something of Eddie and Chris from Rival Firefighters 🚒 .

Letting a seven year old plan an entire weekend probably wasn’t one of Eddie’s smartest ideas. Chris had made up a checklist (on a clipboard and everything) with the weekend's activities written down on it and was barging into Eddie’s room way too early for a Saturday morning asking Eddie if he was ready to drive them to Long Beach for their day at the aquarium.

Eddie rolls onto his back, hands coming up to rub at his tired eyes.

“Chris, the aquarium is like, 30 minutes away and doesn’t open until 9.” He leans over to his bedside table and grabs his phone to check the time. “It’s only 6:30.”

Chris gives him a sheepish smile, “Sorry, Dad. I’m just really excited.”

Excited is an understatement. Ever since they moved to LA, Chris has been dying to go to the aquarium and the zoo. But moving to a new city and starting a new job really doesn’t leave a lot of free time for day trips. Plus the move and buying the house really ate up all of Eddie’s savings, so he needed a few months of work under his belt before he could afford to splurge on a weekend extravaganza. Shannon was in a similar boat, but with the added stress and responsibility of her sick mother.

Chris had been incredibly understanding and when Eddie had come to him last week and told him he had the weekend off and they could finally do the aquarium and zoo, well it was like Christmas had come early.
