Okay I might have a new fic idea but idk if it’s something anyone would want to read???
Basically it’s a Marauders Sport AU and instead of Quidditch it’s Australian Rules Football. I have a pretty good idea of the overall plotline that I think works pretty well already but I haven’t seen a great deal of stuff written with the Marauders being Australian so would anyone actually be interested in reading that?

Marriage or Arsenic: my very first post! I'm proud of myself for starting! Proud of myself for writing and putting it out there!
Sweet Treats: I just like it!! I think it's fun! I love cute tattoo artist boyfriend Jimin!
Even Though: super spontaneous fic; decided about 11pm I wanted to write it and it was finished before 2:30am! But I'm really pleased with how it came out and it's nice to know I can produce shit if I really focus lmao
Thirteen Rounds: wrote it in one evening and then was really unhappy the following day and couldn't work out why I didn't l like it so I took my dog for a walk and figured it out. It then needed a really big, significant re-write and I did it! And then it did some serious fucking numbers lmao
A Fine Line: for obvious reasons lol. My first series! Wasn't sure I could do it! Wasn't sure anyone would like it! But I did! and they do!!

The Comeback: here, have a banner! This is going to be the first fic I post here! (obviously not including AFL reposts). I hope you are looking forward to some festive angst!
Kintsugi: the long-fabled Yoongi friends-to-lovers (actually strangers-to-friends-to-lovers!). She's coming and, goddammit, I've made this bitch angsty, too. Have another banner!
Promessus: a Hobi fake dating fic that is going to require a lot of research and may not be viable if the results of that research aren't what I want! But I'm really excited about it!!!
SUPER TOP SECRET FIC: coming soon! Yoongi! A genre I've not written before! Stay tuned!!!
Three biggest improvements in my writing
I think I'm more aware of my (over-)use of adverbs now so I'm better at catching them while writing and in editing.
Writing long stuff! Actual plot! When I first started, I couldn't believe people were writing like, 5, 10, 15k fics and now I not only have one-shots that long but also a whole series! And more to come!
Deciding to only write in past tense. I kept sort of switching between past and present which meant that, even within one fic, I kept fucking up and writing in the wrong one. Sticking to one means I'm not making that mistake (as much! 😬) anymore.
Two resolutions for next year
This one is sort of already in plrogress but planning. Kintsugi is already outlined! I'm going to try to stick to the plan!
Read more -- both fics and books. I have read much less this year than I'd have liked so I really want to use this festive period to reset and start the new year with more intention and waste less of my time on my fucking phone, watching shit I don't care about on netflix etc. and actually make time for everything, which includes reading.
Favourite line I wrote this year
Remember how I said I've posted 58 fics? Yeah, I'm not going through those to pick out the best lmao. But one that I can think of off the top of my head is:
you knew you had somehow got things figured out but now, in the nauseating throes of the consequences of your own actions, it eluded you.

idk my fics are short and without plots, but maybe my first one (Selection Day) when Bucks decides to drop Trey from the team? No wait angsty would be the Tim Broomhead one titled 37 lmao.
6) What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
godddd I dunno. The one where Seb and Tania play golf and they kiss in front of the sunset. Or the Positive Lingers ones, by definition those ones are happiest cos Ed Langdon winning footy games.
7) Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?
Probably have written crossover between AFL and cricket. No wait, I did a Seb Vettel and Seb Gotch one, I think. And maybe one with Cunnington and Fyfe and they meet Seb Gotch and think he's Seb Vettel 🙈🙈🙈
8) Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Haha I started off being staunchly against it - I wrote G rated family friendly fanfics about Nathan Buckley in the hubs. But then I was mad at Bucks after that trade period and wrote Seb/Tania smut. (Would this count as angst?)
9) Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
Yes I think so because I've only ever gotten a few. I think I've just said thanks, idk I don't want to ignore them.
10) Have you ever received hate on a fic?
No, thank God. Maybe it's the fandoms, sports fans are pretty awesome and can enjoy anything. I mean, we watch SPORT for God's sake, there's nothing worse than that.
11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Don't think so. I only really write about Seb Gotch and Faz and Daisy and people that no one has ever heard of so what's there to steal???
12) Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope.
13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not officially but me and @seven-waves are always making up stories about footballers, does that count?
14) What’s your all time favourite ship?
That I've written? Might be Will Pucovski and Cam Green, I wrote them as a Fyfe/Cunnington duo lol. Or for footy, it'd be everyone's favourite canon ship Treloar and Dunkley
15) What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
The one where Alex Fasolo finds a book that someone wrote on him so he writes one documenting the 488 rules for football that he had during his playing career. I just love the concept because I'm obsessed with Kitty Flanagan's book.
16) What are your writing strengths?
Um. Hmmm. Probably the ones channeling my frustrations at work into stupid stories about footballers - the Seb/Tania office one and there's others I think. Write what you know. 🤷
I'd like to say comedy is a strength but we all know that's not true :((((
17) What are your writing weaknesses?
Writing with the same tense for the whole story.
Plot. Definitely plot.
18) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
Uh I only know English :///// but it'd be interesting, my boss sometimes says thank you in another language when I come in with her coffee, I think that's the extent of my knowledge of other languages.
19) What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Footy. I was bored in lockdown and wondered what the players were doing in their hubs so wrote fics from Bucks pov.
20) What’s your favourite fic you’ve written?
The cutout one where it's first person from the pov of my cutout that went to more AFLM matches than me in 2020.
Or the one where Seb and Stoinis are in the bathroom and Seb's nipples jiggle up and down (definitely didn't steal it from anywhere shhhh)

What's a fic idea you haven't written yet but would like to write?
Let’s see: I just started my Toko plot bunny that I’ve been sitting on for awhile now so that’s officially off the TBW list and onto the WIP list. My wife is waiting for me to get around to the weddings in my AFL series, but I still need to build my way to those. I’d like to do a “Lu Ten survives” fic, but I don’t really have a good idea for that one yet. There’s one for Scythe/Iron Harvest that wouldn’t get much traction, but would be fun to write eventually about Togawa; specifically Akiko getting her mission and gathering her troops. I also want to write something for Ranger’s Apprentice, but again, don’t really have the right idea for that yet. There’s probably a few I’ve got bouncing around that I’m forgetting, but between the ones listed, my own original works that I want to write eventually, and planning for my multi-chapter WIPs, I can’t think of any more. Thanks for the ask!

Ember that Remains Excerpt: Caleb doesn’t straight
Hey! You probably don’t remember my other WIP, ETR, but here’s an excerpt anyway!
“So um... Caleb,” I said awkwardly, slamming my fist into an AFL ball so that it sailed perfectly across the ten-metre distance from me to Adele, the girl who had been partnered with me for this drill. It didn’t look as good as it could have, however, because she fumbled the ball and had to chase after it, despite the fact that I had literally sent it straight to her.
“Yee mate,” He said, shuffling closer to me, clearly sensing that this was a ‘quiet’ conversation. Call him bitter or sarcastic, but Caleb did have an uncanny sense of other people’s emotions. I was even starting to wonder if that was part of his superpower package™; emotional intelligence. “Wassup?”
“So... um... how...” Even knowing that he knew, I could barely force myself to form the words. “How do you... you know... do the – do the coming out thing?” The last few words were barely more than a mutter, and I was astounded that he managed to hear them. I stepped back quickly, and then lunged to catch the wayward ball that Adele had sent in my direction.
“Oh, that?” He laughed. “I honestly thought you were about to tell me you killed someone or something. What a relief.” He stepped back and fumbled for the ball that Ben, his partner, had passed to him. “It’s pretty easy. You just have to find a crooked object and say that it’s you. Or any other super clever pun, however, you have to keep in mind that if you use a different joke, it won’t be pinnacle humour,” He said wisely. He passed the ball back to Ben, but instead, managed to send it to[YG1] Sally, who was at the very end of the line.
“Could you try throwing straight, genius?” Ben snarled.
“No thanks, I’ll just throw gay like me,” Caleb said, and then turned and raised his eyebrows at me. “See, easy! Now you try.”
I opened and shut my mouth, gaping and struggling to find words.
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to,” He said, shrugging. “There’s nothing wrong with being closeted.”
I was so shocked that I didn’t even notice that Adele had thrown the ball until it hit me in the face – a much better throw than her last.
That was completely different to what Veda had said.

Elias was already waiting for her at the entrance when she arrived. He was leaning against the wall, and was looking at something he held in his hands, but she only caught a glimpse of it before he saw her approaching and quickly tucked in away in his pouch. Then he grinned, and moved to meet her. “You took your time getting here,” he commented, but he didn’t seem annoyed, or even surprised. If anything, it sounded like he’d expected this outcome.
Mina huffed. “You already know I encountered my brother, I assume?”
“Only because I barely avoided a run-in with him myself.”

But in an almost cruel twist of fate; when her eyes land on the man sitting before her, It only takes Betty mere seconds to realise who exactly Jughead Jones is; he is the same man that had her on every conceivable surface in her apartment six nights ago; he is the same man that had Betty flirting with the very real concept of tarnishing what was the Cooper brand, and it’s existence— but when he did that thing with his tongue, the Cooper reputation no longer mattered to Betty. This was now the same man that was the subject of her very first assignment in her very real job— what could possibly go wrong?

7. Post a snippet from a wip.
Jungkook was in a mood. It preceded him into the apartment, rolling in like mist off the sea. This was rare for him and you paused where you were – getting vegetables out of the fridge for dinner – to wait and see how he would handle it.
He came straight to you, one hand on your stomach, the other on your back and his mouth in your hair.
“Can that wait?” he asked, dipping his hand below the back waistband of your shorts to grope you while his other hand slithered up your chest in front.
You hummed, hesitating.
“Don’t you want dinner?”
“There’s something else I’d rather eat.”
57. How conscious are you about including symbolism or foreshadowing in your fics?
SO, the answer, for the most part, is not at all, because I have never planned a fic and it's hard to foreshadow when you don't know what's coming hahaha
HOWEVER, with Kintsugi, there are definitely things in the two chapters I've already posted that will come back, little tiny things that won't matter if they go unnoticed but that I know are there. A lot of them came about completely accidentally/serendipitously, from me going 'huh what if this' and then suddenly that whole section became full of STUFF and I was like, right ok well this has to go in then and this has to happen because of THIS stuff that's going to happen later. So the process with Kintsugi is, I guess, a lot more thoughtful and aware of that kind of thing.
31. Do you use a beta reader/editor?
So, AFL was the first fic that I ever had beta'd; Kintsugi is going to have every chapter beta'd, too. I don't think I'd ever post a series without beta-ing; for Kintsugi, there are people who know the outline and those who don't and I want one beta from each so I know how it works for someone who doesn't know where it's going and for someone who does.
One-shots idk. The Comeback was beta'd because, obviously, Jess @btsgotjams27, and I were writing that together so we read each other's but also had a couple of others read to see how they worked together. That's the only one that I've had beta'd so far but I probably will use one going forward; it does make a big difference to have someone who is not in your head read it and tell you 'so WHAT position are they in?' and 'you've used this word three times in the last three sentences' and shit that your brain just glosses over because you know the writing too well.

I was tagged by my sister-in-squee and red pen extraordinaire, @sp-oops -- bless for days! And I’ve been super-absent and don’t really have a bead on all my fellow wordsmiths, but I’ll go ahead and tag @saenalife.
List all the things you’re currently working on in as much or little detail as you’d like, then tag some friends to see what they’re working on. This can be writing, art, vids, gifsets, whatever.
The things:
That Cas fic, Cosmos. The one that was supposed to be an easy, short-and-sweet fic about gazing at the great beyond with everyone’s favorite angel, but turned out to be a great big feels-y, canon-relevant ball of flames. Still with Cas, still regarding space. Just, you know, more. Like, are y’all as verklempt as I am that Cas looks at humanity the same way humanity looks at the stars? Because you’re about to be his Polaris, fam. If you watched the entirety of S11 and thought “Someone needs to show this man (-slash-angel) he’s not replaceable,” this fic is probably for you. If you like space and think banging Cas would be just swell, this fic is definitely for you.
A Dean fic that, much like the above, originated as something meant to be quick and easy--Dean + Reader + a cabin in the woods (of northern Michigan, effectively doubling this fic as a love letter to my former home-state, whoops), but turned out to be, you guessed it, rather more angsty. Don’t worry though; it’s about healing, not hurting. The gist is: in an effort to give Dean a break from his present, you bring him to a place that allows you to make peace with your past. This one hasn’t really been started in earnest, but it exists. Trying to pick the canon time-frame that best suits my purposes before I actually write this one.
Still finishing up the next part of AFL. Shouldn’t be difficult since it’s already partially written and has been outlined to death, but I’ve committed myself to hitting “post” on the Cas fic first. Set during 9x02, Reader gives a sizable “hell nah” to being expected to Kevin-sit when there’s clearly some major demon activity going down. And if you’ve seen 9x02, you know that it ends with her realizing exactly what kind of secret she’s keeping from Sam.
And a handful of other things, because one’s work is never done but I won’t list them here, as they are terribly theoretical and unfinished (and most are likely months and months away, even if I do get my act together, so).

This experimental fuzzer is meant to be used for API in-memory fuzzing.
The design is highly inspired and based on AFL/AFL++.
ATM the mutator is quite simple, just the AFL’s havoc and splice stages.
I tested only the examples under tests/, this is a WIP project but is known to works at least on GNU/Linux x86_64 and Android x86_64.
